They're also at the stage in their relationship where they can be like an old married couple, which doesn't damage their relationship at all-it's just really heartwarming to see Shaggy find someone who loves and respects his wishes, and vice versa. Someone who is his (literal) cheerleader, someone who will watch his back in the deepest, darkest, scariest part of Transylvania, and will go up against the scariest spooks in monsterdom to do so, and someone who he just adores, even if she does nag him over his hiccups, and someone whose kiss will perk him right up after a sleepless night, and someone who gets on great with [[HeterosexualLifePartners Scooby]] and [[TheBabyOfTheBunch Scrappy]]. It may be sad for other Shaggy ships, but nobody can deny that Googie and Shaggy have a lot of chemistry and love between each other. |
