* When Peter is accused of stealing bread from another prisoner and is sentenced to have his hand removed, Robin immediately takes the blame to spare his friend.
** After the jailer then says to cut both their hands off, Robin shoves the guard aside and willingly places his hand on the block. He refuses to break eye contact with the man holding his hand in place, who gives him a look of approval.
** A quick one, easily missed, but when Azeem helps Peter out of the sewers, Peter, despite having told Robin to leave Azeem behind because of his Moorish status, tells him he misjudged him, thanking him. Shifts into Tearjerker soon after, though, as Peter is fatally wounded by an arrow.
* Duncan's UndyingLoyalty to both Robin and his father is equal parts this and TearJerker, considering what it cost him.
-->Robin: Did you believe the charges?\
Duncan: Not even when they took my eyes.
* A small one, but not long after expressing his dislike for Moors and Saracens, Duncan just views Azeem as a comrade regardless of the man's race the moment it sounds like Robin is in danger. Granted, he is blind and elderly, and wouldn't be much help, but the quick change of heart is really sweet.
-->Duncan: Point me towards danger, Azeem! I'm ready!
* During Robin's RousingSpeech, he declares that "a free man defending his home is more powerful than ten hired soldiers" and points to Azeem as proof.
* When the kid comes up and asks Azeem, "Did God paint you?" Creator/MorganFreeman laughs and layers the charm on double-thick as he explains it's a certainty, because "Allah loves wondrous variety." The smile the kid gets could melt anyone's heart, especially since she's just about the only person in England to treat him as a normal guy so far besides Robin.
* "You truly are a great one."
* Little John's pride when he shows his newborn son to the others. One of the other Merry Men even says: "He's beautiful, John!"
* Friar Tuck humbly asks Azeem's forgiveness for misjudging him, after the Moor helps safely deliver Fanny's baby. Azeem happily gives it.
-->Tuck: Today, the Lord has taught me a fine lesson: though I may think I am godly, I know I am not worldly.
* "Will you do it, for your king?" "No. But I'll do it for you."
* Azeem helping Robin to get through his angst while burying Duncan after the Sheriff's attack on the village.
-->Robin: My pride brought us to this.
-->Azeem: No, sadiq. It was you who gave pride to these people.
-->Robin: I was a fool. I was a fool to let [Duncan] leave, to believe I'd planned it all so perfectly...
-->Azeem: I once heard a wise man say, "There are no perfect men in this world, only perfect intentions."
* This exchange, especially the end. Try not to cry.
-->Will Scarlet: I want to know if he's gonna finish what he started, or if he's gonna turn and run like the spoiled rich boy I always took him for! \
Robin Hood: Did I wrong you in another life, Will Scarlet? Where does this intolerable hatred for me come from? \
Will Scarlet: (hesitates) From knowing... that our father loved you more than me! \
Robin Hood: Our father? \
Will Scarlet: We are brothers, Robin of Locksley! I am the son of the woman who replaced your dead mother for a time. Your anger drove them apart! \
Robin Hood: You lie! \
Will Scarlet: It's not a lie! You ruined my life! (pause as Robin realizes Scarlet is serious) I have more reason... to hate you... than anyone. Yet I found myself daring to believe in you. And now what I want to know, brother, is will you stay with us, and finish what you've started? \
Robin Hood: (with wonder) I have a brother? (with joy) I have a brother! (*embraces Will*) And I will stand with you, side by side, until the end!
** After TheReveal Will becomes a lot warmer towards Robin and his jokes (such as the crack about Robin's aim) become friendly teasing rather than bitter sniping.
* When Wulf is led onto the gallows to be executed, the prisoner next to him yells at the executioner to let him go as "He's only a boy!" The executioner just smacks the man on the head and walks away. The prisoner then asks if Wulf's all right and tries to smile at him just before the executions start.
** And after Robin cuts Wulf's noose down with the arrow, he immediately tries lifting this prisoner up to relieve the pressure on his neck.
* Later, Little John reuniting with eldest son Wulf during the climactic battle. They embrace joyfully, and John glances up at Fanny, watching from the ramparts, to make sure she can see that their boy is safe; she all but slumps with relief, murmuring, "Oh, thank God."
* "I have fulfilled my vow, sadiq.”
