2	* Norm fixing Amanda's teddy bear after bullies destroy it - and this is ''before'' he acknowledges that he's actually starting to care for her.
3	* Amanda's first wish? [[SelflessWish After she learns that fairy godparents get taken away if a non-godchild finds out about them, she wishes that if SHE finds out about a godchild's fairy godparents, it won't happen.]]
4	* Norm coming disguised to the dance to check if Amanda's having a good time, leading a teacher to mistake him for a concerned relative and ask which kid is his. His going along with the lie is quite nice foreshadowing.
5	* Wanda actually ''worries'' about Amanda, her maternal instinct telling her that something's really wrong with the girl.
6	** After hearing Wanda, Timmy suggests to loan her to Amanda. Only, it doesn't work. See, a fairy godparent can be loaned to another child if this child is more unhappy than the original godchild, and Amanda is not.
7	*** Especially not with Norm caring for her.
8	* Timmy and Norm are willing to tolerate each other because they recognize that they're both good for Amanda in their own ways.
9	* Even after Norm's magic wears off, Trixie genuinely wants to continue being friends with Sanjay. She even [[spoiler:opens up a friendship to Elmer as well later on.]]
10	** When Sanjay discovers Trixie's hobby of comic books and video games, he promises not to tell anyone, and even offers to buy comics for her if she provides him the money so she can keep her secret.
11	* Norm basically picking Amanda up and cradling her as if she were his daughter [[spoiler:after the Pixies and the Anti-Fairies tried to kill her because it was convenient for them.]]
12	** And the BigBrotherInstinct Timmy displayed during the event, culminating in him being on the verge of a MyGreatestFailure when his [[PleaseIWillDoAnything desperate]] [[AintTooProudToBeg begging]] for the Anti-Fairies and Pixies to spare Amanda fails and they prepare to [[KickTheDog kill her just because of how attached to her Timmy is]].
13	** And then after the whole mess is over, Norm and Timmy bury the hatchet officially and permanently. They may not like each other but the hate is gone.
14	* In a bittersweet way, Jorgen thinking how it would be better for Norm to not grow ''too'' fond of Amanda... since he knows how [[MayFlyDecemberFriendship a magical being-child bond]] ends up, and not even a JerkassGenie deserves to watch his beloved ward dying of old age.
15	* Amanda hugging Norm [[spoiler:after Bob has been defeated]] and getting a hug in return.
16	* [[spoiler: What, no love for the ending scene? I dunno about you guys, but it tore me up inside with the way Norm reacted to Amanda dying, and then the way he fixed it.]]
17	** [[spoiler:And no love for how he gave Timmy a new chance at life simply because Amanda likes him? And turning him into a fairy so he can officially be part of the best family he's ever had?]]

20	* In ''Tales as Old as Time'', Amanda tells [[spoiler:Remy]] that she is not ignorant or useless, showing she is taking what Norm, Timmy, and her new friends have told her to heart, now believing she has some self-worth, though her ''parents'' still need to learn that.
21	** Going even further, when standing up for herself to [[spoiler:Remy]], she thinks of a way to prove her point by springing upon a loophole she used in the original story, and does it in a fashion that Norm would be proud of. This shows that she is picking up some of Norm's mannerisms and tricks, indicating that they have gotten so close to the point that Norm is rubbing off on her.
22	* While Norm's dislike for Timmy hasn't waned, he's well-aware that Timmy would never intentionally upset Amanda and neither would any of his friends.
23	* Mark hugs Amanda, despite the action being potentially harmful to himself.
24	* Mark stays on Yugopotamia for a little while to visit his family and friends since he hadn't had a chance to visit recently.
25	* Norm decides to make a plan so Amanda's parents never hurt her again. And he is willing to spend ''hours'' planning and researching and even broker a deal with both HP and Jorgen to make sure that it works perfectly. And he ''refuses'' to ever leave [[{{Protectorate}} his kid]]. Doubles as a SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome.
26	** What is said plan you may ask? He [[InterspeciesAdoption becomes her legal guardian]], something that Wanda openly approves of when Norm asks her to babysit Amanda while he finalizes things.
