!!Season 1

* Unexpectedly, the pilot has one. Will finds a lost dog wandering on the side of the road, then stops his car, turns the lights on, and opens the back hatch to let the dog in. When he takes the dog home, it's revealed that this is apparently a habit of his, and he cares for all his canine companions very well. Bonus points for showing a different side of Will than his usual GoodIsNotNice.
* Will Graham's relationship with Dr. Alana Bloom. She's genuinely concerned about him, and wants to protect him.
** For that matter, his interactions with Beverly Katz. After a bit of a rocky start, she's clearly friendly and supportive of him.
** Another moment with Alana -- [[spoiler:"I kissed Alana Bloom!"/"she's very kissable".]] Will's his usual brusque self and clearly kind of flustered after he blurts it out, but it's endearing.
* After a rocky introduction to the Crawfords' marriage and the revelation that [[spoiler: Bella has cancer and has not told Jack]], the final scene of them coming clean to each other in Hannibal's office is sweet. Jack's promise to be in her corner and be anything she needs is heartwarming, but what really seals it is when Bella finally takes his hand.
** During the same episode, Jack and Will have been at odds for the entire episode, but when Will comes across Jack numbly sitting alone, he sits down and answers Jack weary question of what he wants with, "I’m-- gonna sit here until you’re ready to talk. You don’t have to say a word until you’re ready, but-- I’m not going anywhere until you do.”
* Episode 5 opens with Will sleepwalking barefoot down a road far from home. When the police approach and wake him we learn Winston, the dog he rescued in the first episode, followed him and the nudging Will felt against his hand was the dog's attempt to wake him up.
** The cops who find Will are also quite gentle and kind with him. While they question Will about where he lives and if he could be intoxicated, they're never rude or aggressive about it. In the end, they allow Will to wait in the cruiser to sit down and get out of the cold then take him home.
* Despite the events that led to it, Hannibal's obvious relief when Will [[spoiler:survives his run-in with Tobias]] is rather heartwarming.
** Before that there is a temporary one in the same episode. When Hannibal is having dinner with [[spoiler: Tobias Budge. He tells him that he's going to kill any law enforcement that investigates him and then he's going to kill Franklyn]] to which Hannibal replies [[spoiler: "Don't kill Franklyn"]]. -- Well, it was a heartwarming moment until [[spoiler: Hannibal snapped Franklyn's neck only a few minutes later.]]
* Hannibal hugging a weeping Abigail, who has just [[spoiler:confessed to him that her father forced her to recruit his victims. Hannibal assures her that she is a victim, not a monster]] and promises that he and Will are going to protect her.
** ... [[RevealingHug heartwarming until he suddenly stares blankly and coldly right into the camera, anyway]].
** Similarly, Hannibal's line "Office hours are for patients. My kitchen is always open to friends" sounds heartwarming to Will and terrifying to the audience.
* In "Buffet Froid", Will finds [[spoiler:Georgia hiding under his bed]], and though he's clearly and understandably freaked out by it he gets down onto the floor, reaches out to her and assures her that she's alive.
** Earlier in the episode, when he needs backup to support what he's found at the crime scene, he doesn't call Jack, or the police -- he calls Beverly. And, when he admits that he's not sure if what he saw even happened, all she says is "Then let's prove it," fully supporting and working with him.
*** Later, she is the one who checks him for bloodstains at a crime scene. She makes sure to tell him, "You're clean.", and insists ''to him'' that there's no way he could have committed the crime unconsciously; she's quite aware of his concerns and firmly reassures him without downplaying his worry. Beverly for best friend ever.
** Jack tells Will that he considers him his responsibility. The whole time, we thought Jack didn't care how far he pushed Will, but it turns out, he does.
* It was really sweet of Will to visit [[spoiler: Georgia]] in the hospital and, in a bittersweet way, so is [[spoiler: his concern about finding the truth about her death.]]
** During the visit, he tells her that she's pretty and she gives him a beaming smile. D'awww.
* Alana's relief at [[spoiler:Will not being able to draw a clock properly, meaning he's suffering from a physiological illness and is not a deliberate serial killer.]]

!!Season 2

* Alana taking care of Will's dogs. Winston keeps going back to Will's house, like Hachiko.
* Bedelia visiting Will [[spoiler: in his cell and telling him that she truly believes him]]. Will looks overwhelmed with emotion. It's the small victories.
* Jack falling on his sword during his testimony at Will's trial, saying he's to blame for pushing Will past his sanity.
* At the end of "Hassun", Will asks Alana what she wants, and she replies, tearfully, "To save you." Will moves his cuffed hands to hold hers, the one way he can express his gratitude.
* From the beginning of "Takiawase", in Will's dream-river:
--> '''Will:''' Last thing before casting the line, name the bait on your hook after somebody you cherish.
--> [[spoiler: '''Abigail''']]: To say goodbye?
--> '''Will''': If the person you named it after cherished you -- as the superstition goes -- you will catch the fish.
--> [[spoiler: '''Abigail''']]: And what did you name it?
--> '''Will''': [[spoiler: Abigail.]]
* Freddie Lounds' PetTheDog moment to Jack Crawford.
-->'''Freddie:''' Send someone else, Jack. [[spoiler:She's one of yours.]]
* In "Yakimono", we see Will's first truly happy smile since early Season 1, when [[spoiler: he goes home and sees all his dogs running towards him.]]
* [[spoiler:Miriam]] receiving her prosthetic arm. She's almost in tears realizing that she has a left arm again.
* Zeller, of all people, apologizing to Will, in "Su-zakana". Zeller, who gave Will the most grief in the first season, as well as being the most insistent of Will's guilt in this season, being openly remorseful and shaking his hand. There's just something really sweet and touching about the way he goes about it. And Will subsequently accepting it.
* In "Su-zakana", Hannibal shows kindness to Margot by reminding her that she's not as weird as she thinks.
-->'''Hannibal:''' I'm much weirder than you will ever be, Margot. It's fine to be weird.
* Will's compassionate treatment and fierce defense of Peter in "Su-zakana". Even though we're seeing the new Will Graham, who TookALevelInBadass after getting out of prison and is attempting to go up against Hannibal in the ManipulativeBastard department, Will has not changed so much that he's forgotten what it was like to be falsely accused and unable to think clearly enough to fight back.
** In the next episode, Will goes to visit him while he's in treatment, and promises to keep quiet about the pet rat Peter smuggled in.
* In "Shiizakana", the climax of the episode involves a shotgun-toting Will hauling ass to carry his wounded dog Buster back to the safety of his house.
* As of the end of "Kō No Mono" it hasn't been made explicit, but we can surmise from [[spoiler: Freddie being alive and in Jack's care that ''Jack believes and trusts Will''. Perhaps more importantly, we can also surmise that Will reciprocates that trust, because the two of them seem to be working together to catch Hannibal.]] It also shows that Will [[spoiler: isn't a murderer after all, his killings all being attributable to self-defense.]]
* It seems that Hannibal actually does care about Margot on some level, as [[spoiler:he makes sure to leave Mason alive so her family's money won't disappear, while still putting him in a position where he can never hurt her again.]]
* Of a horribly sad variety, in "Mizumono": [[spoiler:Will, lying on the floor and bleeding out next to the near-dead Abigail, uses his last strength to attempt to cover her wound. When he realizes it won't work, he holds her hand as they pass out together.]]
** In a bizarre way, the reveal that [[spoiler: Hannibal had planned to take Will and Abigail away with him, the latter of whom he specifically kept alive for Will's benefit and desire of a family/child. It all comes crashing down, of course, but that action shows that Hannibal genuinely cares for Will and wanted him to be happy with Abigail as a surrogate daughter.]]
** Jack [[spoiler:uses his final strength to call Bella while bleeding to death in Hannibal's pantry.]]
** It's small, but there is when Will and Alana discuss about Hannibal, {{Tearjerker}} moments aside. At this point, Alana knows the truth and now believes Will, admitting that he could see the truth long before anyone else did. Considering how she [[TookALevelInJerkass treated him for the past few episodes]], it's nice to see that they have reconciled.
** The conversation between Will and Freddie, where Will asks Freddie to not write about Abigail to give her peace, and Freddie [[PetTheDog showing some form of concern towards him]] by asking if he's unsure if he could come out of his plot against Hannibal unscathed. It's a rare moment of civility between them, where they're honest towards each other without any semblance of hostility, [[spoiler: even if it's this exchange that led to Hannibal [[TheNoseKnows finding out]] that Will was deceiving him]].

!!Season 3

* Just as in the ''Silence'' novel, Hannibal sends Jack his sincere condolences about Bella's death.
* Despite his ulterior motives, Chilton does express some sympathy to both Will and Alana when they are in the hospital.
* Despite [[CriminallyAttractive the facts surrounding their meeting]], and [[FromBadToWorse what follows]], Hannibal and Will reuniting in the art museum in Florence may count, and what Hannibal says to Will almost seems like a confession of love. If you account for Will's current headspace, it also borders on a {{Tearjerker}}.
-->'''Hannibal''': If I saw you every day, forever, Will, I would remember this time.
* Hannibal willingly surrendering to Jack, just so Will will always know where he is if he wants to talk. Although this is also typically diabolical, considering that Will had just finished telling Hannibal he no longer wanted to think about him or know what he was up to.
* Alana showing concern towards Will by threatening to take away Hannibal's privileges if he does anything to harm Will again. Also counts as a SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome.
* Reba gently dealing with Dolarhyde's embarrassment about his speech impediment, saying she's understood everything he's said perfectly, and if he wants to stop talking, that's fine too. And on the flipside, she very much appreciates his lack of pity for her blindness. In one scene, we see perfectly what draws them to each other.
* Dolarhyde listening to a sleeping Reba's heartbeat and nuzzling her hand. It's such a tender moment.
* Dolarhyde admitting he cannot watch Reba burning to death, sparing her life and showing his regained control over the Dragon.
* Just like in the novel and the film, there is Will comforting Reba after her near-death experience, repeating his lines from the novel almost word by word. And here, he ''completely'' empathizes with Reba's situation as [[MindGameShip his experiences]] [[DestructiveRomance with Hannibal]] mirror hers with Dolarhyde -- which causes this moment to also border onto {{Tearjerker}} territory.
* Both heartwarming and tearjerking, [[spoiler:Will finally admitting that being -- and killing -- with Hannibal is beautiful, before the two embrace, followed by Will sending both of them over the cliff to stop both himself and Hannibal from killing anyone else, but also so they would die together.]]
* The fact that, after years of abuse, homophobia, and being treated as TheUnfavorite her entire life, Margot actually ''wins''. [[spoiler:She ends the series with a son, the family fortune, and Mason dead. Oh, and she's HappilyMarried to Alana]]. Suck on ''that'', Verger family.

!The Book
* Stuck in tourist class on a plane, Hannibal wakes with a jolt and a small cry from a nightmare. The small boy next to him, innocent and unafraid, comforts him: "I have bad dreams too lots of times. I'm not laughing at you."
* Unexpectedly, Barney gets a crush on Margot. While she doesn't reciprocate, eventually the two come to an understanding and build a friendship which--next to the relationship between Ardelia and Clarice--is probably the most wholesome relationship depicted in the book. [[spoiler:Ultimately, it's this friendship that prevents Margot from murdering Barney to keep him quiet about her role in the massacre at the farm.]]

!The Film
* When Starling calls Pazzi in another attempt to dissuade him from trying to go after Lecter himself, this is when Lecter has him tied up; answers and is delighted to be hearing her voice again for the first time in about a decade. This is where the famous misquoting of "Good evening Clarice" as "Hello Clarice" probably comes from. After he hangs up, he then fondly refers to her as "an old friend".
-->'''Lecter''': Clarice, there is nothing in this world that I would love more than to be able to chat with you. Unfortunately you've caught me at an awkward moment. Please forgive me. See you around.
* Lecter [[spoiler: calling Clarice and giving her no time to get off the phone (apart from three seconds to swap in a fresh battery). While this is partly to keep her from calling anyone else and tracing the call, it's also to help protect her from any legal liability.]]
* Lecter [[spoiler: telling her that all she needs to remind herself of her courage and incorruptibility "is a mirror".]]
* Clarice [[spoiler: saving Lecter's life, then Lecter in turn saving hers after being shot.]]
* Lecter offering to take the blame for Verger getting killed in the boar pen, telling his trod-on assistant Cordell:
-->'''Dr. Lecter''': Hey Cordell, why don't you push him in? You can always say it was me.
* Lecter [[spoiler: hurting himself rather than Clarice in order to get free--by means of cutting off his own hand when she cuffs herself to him. His hand being left behind in her handcuffs will also be proof that she had him too--and his sweating right before he successfully removed the hand also gives further credence to how had he otherwise not chosen to cut his hand off, she would've had him dead to rights.]]
* [[spoiler: During the dinner scene, and in a complete 180 from the novel. Despite what Paul Krendler has done, Clarice still tries to save his life by offering to trade information to Lecter that could help him flee the country.]]
* Starling follows Lecter outside and unlike the alternate ending where she puts her gun back together to pursue and try to catch him, she leaves the gun behind--likely meaning she believed he'd already gotten away and even if he hadn't, she didn't need her gun since the loss of his left hand may mean Lecter is never gonna be a threat to anyone ever again--or at least definitely not to her. She also almost seems happy when she realizes he's gone too and looks up at the sky as the fireworks go off.
