19	* From episode 23, "Genesis of Evil". When Ken came into mind after his devastation for losing Wormmon, he went back to the Digital World. After recovering from a case of LaserGuidedAmnesia, and being told off by some baby Digimon. He has a total meltdown when he finally finds his partner Wormmon.
20	** Leafmon crying tears of joy. Little guy [[EarnYourHappyEnding earned his happy ending]].
21	** When he and his parents make up and both give each other a second chance...it also...excuse me [[TearJerker I have something in my eyes]].
22	* In "If I had a Tail Hammer", Minomon's (Wormmon's pre-digivolution form) energy and enthusiasm while suggesting Ken exercise his excess dinner off is both [[Funny/DigimonAdventure02 funny]] and heartwarming. Because it shows Wormmon has since recovered from his past [[TheWoobie woobie status]]. The overall mood set by his and Ken's exchange of dialogue at this point shows their friendship as a whole has also recovered from the damage caused by Ken's role as the Digimon Emperor.
23	* Near the end of episode 25, "Spirit Needle". Yolei sending a message to Ken's D-Terminal hoping to have him in the team. What makes it warmer is Ken reading it before going home. He turned back and saw Yolei's illuminated face.

25	* Near the end of episode 26, "United We Stand". When the chips are down and it looks like the gang are going to be bug chow (it MakesSenseInContext), Davis gives Ken a big speech about the PowerOfFriendship which activates their Digimon's power to combine.

Anyway, after countless episodes of Ken's [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone beating himself up]], trying to [[TheAtoner atone alone]], forgetting ''[[LaserGuidedAmnesia who he was]]'', and [[TheWoobie generally going through so much crap]] that it became difficult to imagine he was ''ever'' the Kaiser, he finally comes round to the others attempts to help him. During one episode, Ken calls Mrs. Ichijouji to tell her he's ''staying at a friend's place'', and she starts crying on the phone because the son she'd thought was trapped in a bubble forever and would never be able to deal with the social world finally has friends.
30	** Chibimon and Minomon waking Davis up by playfighting on his bed is just So. Damn. '''Cute'''. You'll nearly explode watching it.
31	* Kari gets another one with Yolei this time on her next trip into the world of the Dark Ocean in episode 31, where she's [[HeroicBSOD literally falling apart]] and Yolei [[GetAHoldOfYourselfMan has to slap some sense into her]], then tells her [[YouAreNotAlone that it's okay, she's not alone]] [[RousingSpeech and they're going to beat this together]]. A few seconds later, their partners Jogress Digivolve together into Sylphimon.
32	* All the other Digimon have fled in terror in front of [=BlackWarGreymon=], but Agumon is content to sit with him and try to tell him about ThePowerOfFriendship. Before the Destiny Stone cracks, the two are just about to shake hands as friends.
33	* Cody accepting an invitation to Ken's Christmas Party in episode 38. Look, everyone! They're on speaking terms!

35	* Ken's laughing in the Christmas episode, "A Very Digi Christmas". Not a maniac EvilLaugh like in his Emperor days but a genuinely happy one for the first time much to the others' astonishment, meaning that he stopped being an insecure, atoned and depressed child, enjoying the holiday with his new friends.

37	** Also, see Ken's mom's reaction. What any kind parent isn't happy to see their depressed son having a good laugh and time with his new friends?
38	** The Christmas episode ends with a montage of the previous Digidestined having fun with their respective 'mons. And while a few are doing things privately, in other shots the parents are taking part; Palmon wears some lights to become a miniature Christmas tree, Tentomon eats dinner with the family… Merry Christmas, indeed.
39	** The scene that establishes Sora and Matt are actually the OfficialCouple now is one of the sweetest IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy scenes in all animation. The audience hasn't had any build up for this, so it hits the viewer like a ton of bricks just like it does Tai. In both versions, the characters' expressions and body language make it clear that Sora feels incredibly awkward and anxious about this and that it's not pain-free for Tai, but what does he do? Smile, put his hand on her shoulder, and tell her to go for it and give Matt the romantic Christmas treats she made for him. No angsting, no guilt, no pressure, no self-pity, no selfishness, just supporting his two friends getting together. Agumon is 100% right when (in both versions) he compliments Tai on how much he's grown up (too many adult characters in fiction and real life can't handle this scenario so well). Great job, Tai!
40	* The random civilian who tried to help Silphymon in episode 44. True he thought Silphymon was some guy in a costume, but he wanted to help her.
41	* Davis's speech while Ken is trying to close a gateway to the Dark Ocean (and is in considerable pain while doing so) in episode 45, "The Dark Gate" could be seen as heartwarming. The speech, plus the fact that every single one of the team is right there next to him helping him stay upright and encouraging him, is pretty damn moving even when the Dub does it.
42	* When the kids have had a rough day and are ready for Joe's brother to take them home, T.K. gives up his seat in the car for Ken. This small act of kindness shows us that the group has finally accepted him, and maybe by taking up the offer he's starting to accept himself.
43	* Ken and Wormmon's song, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DNGjEoe0aA Honto no Tsuyosa]]. Ken and Wormmon reflect on how they've been through so much together, (The lyrics imply this takes place post Ken's HeelFaceTurn), and Wormmon's UndyingLoyalty even in the face of Ken's cruelty.

60	* There is some subtle heartwarming in episode 49. Davis actually could have fallen in Malomyotismon's illusion due to his feelings for Kari. However, the fact that he didn't means that his affection wasn't possessive love and he is already happy at what they are now!
61	** A minor note, from the beginning of the series Davis loathed T.K. out of jealousy. By the finale they're good friends.
62	* The whole series finale is made of this, even if you don't particularly like some of the last minute hookups it's great. Davis leading the charge against the BigBad, with the power of wishing? Love it!
63	** Not to mention every single person on Earth gets their own Digimon. Seriously, every human has their own personal best buddy for life. How awesome is that? Kari fantasized about children and Digimon playing in harmony near the end of the season, comes true. And the Digital World even gets respected enough to be part of the United Nations! Seriously this is probably not just the most feel good ending of all of Digimon, but any show period.
64	** All this with [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MFJ83m8n9rk "Bokura no Digital World"]] playing the background, a song where all the main characters thank the Digital World in their own little way for everything they've done and grown up to become, joining together in the choruses. Creator/AiMaeda's [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5GFuzhchTM solo rerecording]] is just as tingly.
65	** And then we learn that Oikawa has his own Digimon Partner, Datirimon, who has been waiting for him for about thirty years. Even though the former is dying, he comforts Datirimon that he shall always be with him forever as he transforms into butterflies and restores the Digital World.
66	** The uniting power of an entire planet's worth of Chosen Children right at the end of the second series tugged at the heartstrings quite a bit.
