!!The Split Brains of Two-Brains
* Who is controlling Dr. Two Brains? Is it Steven's brain, the lab mouse's brain, or both but with the lab mouse as the dominant controller? The series seems to give the impression that it's Squeaky controlling his brain, and Dr. Boxleitner is a prisoner in his mind, but in the original shorts, he says "Yes! More cheese! Good idea second brain!" Would that have been Steven AGREEING with Squeaky or Squeaky talking to himself?
** Well maybe he is doing that so that the weird pulsating brain would stop tormenting him. So he has no choice but to one it. Wait so is the self-medicating himself?
** Or maybe the Doctor does just really really like cheese and is perfectly happy going along with Squeeky's plans.
** Also, it could be that even though Squeaky and the original doc are separate personalities, their personalities were tangled up by the accident, giving Boxleitner some of Squeaky's cheese cravings and maliciousness, and giving Squeaky some of the doc's intelligence.
** It's been officially stated that both Steven's and Squeaky's personalities are present at the same time. Sometimes his personality leans one way or the other, but other times they're equal. There isn't a combined "Two-Brains" personality; it just seems like there is when Steven and Squeaky "operate" equally.
*** Even if that’s true, shouldn’t Boxleitner gained more control when react to “Operation Weakness” in “A Game Of Cat & Mouse”. Squeaky’s brain didn’t glow.
!!Lady Redundant Woman's redundancy
* Shouldn't she call herself Miss Lady Redundant Woman since she repeats the word 3 times
** If she does, then who would watch the show? But that would be a great thing for her villains to call her
*** Lady Redundant Woman '''is''' one of [=WordGirl's=] villains. The point is that she only has two redundant terms in her villainous name when she uses three redundant terms in her speech. [=WordGirl=] herself isn't particularly prone to repetition or redundancy.
I just want to point out that Dr. Two-Brains' goop ray will turn ANYTHING into goop- except living organisms. ...And their clothes? Hmmm. (I know WHY, just pointing it out.)
!!Precocious Crushes
* Since TJ and Johnson, who are both 7 years old, were confirmed to be a gay couple, this question comes to mind: how do they even ''know'' about homosexual relationships at that age?
** This troper adds: how did you know about heterosexual relationships at that age?
*** '''COUGH''' Parents '''COUGH'''
** They may not know about homosexuality ''per se'', but what they do know is that they ''really'' like hanging out and making each other feel really, ''really'' happy — more so than with any of their other friends. That's all there is to it. You don't have to know what the word “gay” means to be gay.
** In the show itself, it seems like any romantic feelings between the two are almost entirely one-sided. TJ seems to treat Johnson as a good friend, while Johnson seems much more affectionate towards TJ than the other way around (like giving him random hugs or affectionately holding his hand).

!!Becky's birthday
* How do Becky's parents know when her birthday is if they found her in the woods?
** It's possible that her parents may simply have decided to make her birthday "the day they found her in the woods".
!!Abiliities Retcon?
* Small one regarding The Butcher, in 'The Meat Dimension' the book his father wrote for him claims his abilities to shoot meat, are unique to The Butcher, and The Butcher only. So if that's the case, how come the masked meat marauder can shoot meat, is this an oversight, or is there a chance he's related to The Butcher?

!!Hmm, would she?
* So would Wordgirl knowing every word in the English language mean that she knows swear words? Also in addition would she know words that qualify as "dirty"?
** Yes. She'd know the meaning of all of those words, and since she knows she's on a show (and is, yunno, ten years old), she'd know it isn't okay to use any of them.

!!Shouldn't Huggy be able to talk or spell?
* So if Huggy and [=WordGirl=] come from the same planet how come Huggy doesn't show any lexicon-type abilities or powers? Like, it's made pretty clear he doesn't have Becky's incredible vocabulary skills, he can't fly, he doesn't have super strength, he's just like a regular monkey, albeit more intelligent. Sooooo what gives?
** OK so I just watched "A World Without [=WordGirl=]" and it turns out Huggy has super-hearing as well, as he also hears the sandwich shop owner calling for help all 3 times along with Becky and asks if she heard the screams as well, so....now I'm more confused.
** I think that's part of the joke, being the [[ButtMonkey butt of jokes]]. There are plenty of times when he gets no respect from other people (even Becky sometimes forgets about him during missions), with some cases him being confused with another animal species. Despite coming from a different planet and having higher intelligence than your average monkey or ape, he's still treated as an average monkey or ape by everyone in the show and maybe - perhaps most tellingly - by the very creators of the show, itself.

!!Shouldn't her birth parents be looking for her?
* As far as we know, Lexicon is still out there somewhere, so why haven't they contacted Wordgirl or at least Captain Huggyface at some point to see if they're okay?
** Who's to say they haven't tried? Lexicon is implied to be very, VERY far from Earth, so it's likely that the Lexiconian fleet, and Becky's birth parents, are still looking for her...
** Two possibilities: either Lexicon thinks Huggyface and Wordgirl perished during the journey, or else something terrible happened on Lexicon that necessitated Huggy taking an infant into space in the first place.
*** Wordgirl's origin story revealed that she stumbled on the ship when she was just a toddler, so I don't think it was the latter.
** If that's the case, then they prolly didn't come to take her back because she's so happy on earth and she doesn't even remember them (her flashbacks to when she was a baby don't even show 'em)

!!Word Girl vs Slang
* If Becky/[=WordGirl=] knows every word and their definition, how does she handle words that ''change'' their definition overtime, or words that once meant something else in the past (such as '''terrific,''' once meaning something frightful, now means grand or amazing)?
** Adding on to this, if a new word is invented after she got this ability, does she know that word, or does she have to learn the word? Does she know "smol" isn't a misspelling of small? Does she know what it means to yeet something?

!!Go through the hologram
* When Huggyface saw that the fake Tobey left to distract the babysitter was a hologram, why didn’t he walk through the hologram to prove that it was fake?

!!Monkey vs Chimp
* Wordgirl and Huggy insist that the latter's a monkey...they are aware that monkeys have tails, right? Wouldn't it make more sense to call him a chimpanzee?
** Same things can be said about [[Literature/{{CuriousGeorge}} George]].

!!"Ordinary" family?
* In “The Extraordinary Ordinary Botsfords”, Becky said her family was ordinary. She had a remarkable relative all along. Jebediah Botsford. She could’ve viewed him. His face is carved into a cliff.

!!No more "May I have a word"?
* Why were there no new “May I Have A Word” segments in 2014?
** Budget constraints, prolly?

!!Defining "Thesaurus"
* Why wasn’t “Thesaurus” defined in “I Think I’m A Clone Now” despite being a featured word?

!!Repeating the featured word
* Why do people still say featured words after the definitions?
** Well, it's a show to teach words and it's aimed at kids, so they probably repeat the word so kids will get it.

!!Cross-species infection?
* How did Huggy get [=WordGirl=]'s cold in "Chuck E. Sneeze"? He didn’t get the germs.
