That said, however, it wouldn't be in the same universe as Boom without it's moments of comedy. Writer FixersChannel has studied the show's plots and jokes well, and this has been able to pay off into plenty of funny moments.

25	* In this episode, we are introduced to [[DeadpanSnarker Forge,]] who in this episode, is the doorman for the event that Dawn and Wake, and well as Fixer and Alkira, are attending. Wake uses his new polite behavior on Forge, who can only sigh at all the "fancy talk."
26	** Involving Forge in this episode, at one point, Fixer shows Alkira the bowl of punch. However, she is hesitant to try it, [[ComicallyMissingThePoint saying it "sounds too violent."]] If that StealthPun wasn't funny enough, Forge, as if on cue, zips over to the table, takes Fixer's cup, and says that he'll take the drink if they don't want it. TheStoic personality shown in the beginning of the episode [[NotSoAboveItAll flies right out the window]], and he downs the drink and slams the cup down on the table. Alkira's nervous laughter in response to it is also very funny.

58	* When Erik is walking through the Forgone Forest, he steps in slime, and fears [[OurCryptidsAreMoreMysterious the "Monster of the Green Slime" has come to the island.]] However, despite his fears, he decides to search for it, and snap a photo of it, just so he can put it in his "I-told-you-so" album. Yes, you read that right. An entire [[IWarnedYou "I-Told-You-So" album.]] The fact that he even HAS that is funny.
59	** When Erik finds the culprit to all the slime- who is [[Recap/SonicBoomS1E4Buster Buster,]] not the Monster of the Green Slime- what is Erik's first reaction? ''Taking a picture of it.'' [[BrickJoke With the flash still on from when he took the picture of the owl earlier in the episode.]]
60	* When we cut to Dawn's library for the town meeting, we get a couple few funny moments from the cast:

Sophia IMMEDIATELY steps in to scold both of them for not [[{{I Warned You}} listening to her warnings about leaving the village.]] Her "kids these days" line is also very funny, and [[HilariousInHindsight becomes even funnier]] when you remember that according to the [[https://fixerschannel.deviantart.com/art/Sonic-Boom-Legends-Easter-Information-Session-675107044 Easter Information Session,]] Forge, one of the two Sophia is scolding and calling a "kid," is a year OLDER than Sophia.
71	*** [[RuleOfThree In the third funny moment in a row,]] Wake then jokes about how they call him out for his pranks, and [[{{Hypocrite}} yet, one of them was stealing, alongside breaking-and-entering.]] Dawn didn't think this was too hypocritical, [[NoodleIncident reminding Wake of when he broke her ruler via tossing a thesaurus across the room.]] Wake's response is golden.

75	* Evidently, before [[Recap/SonicBoomS1E4Buster she sent Buster out on his own way,]] Sticks left a note on his satchel in case anyone else found him. Knowing that the one writing this is Sticks, master of InsaneTrollLogic, you can expect she going to say something completely bonkers. And sure enough, what does the note say?
76	--> My name is Buster and I’m an evil slime bot. If you find me, don’t feed me any bones made by Dr Eggman, [[{{Cloudcuckoolander}} or the government spies who tell the alien overlords where my left socks are.]]
77	* So, then, Erik decides to keep Buster and make the robot dog his pet, with the okapi's unconditional love]]... until that love wears thin after a day of Buster doing nothing but sliming everywhere.

The BlackComedy [[UnfortunateImplications implications]] are quite funny when you think about it, as it, along with Buster's [[OhCrap reaction]] could [[DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything remind one]] of... [[AnimalsFearNeutering well.]]
79	* When Erik goes to Forge for getting the hose cut, Forge says that he could, but he doesn't want Buster in the cave. He wasn't looking at Erik when said this, and is confused and concerned when Erik doesn't respond. When he turns around, he sees that Erik [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere made a break for it,]] and left Buster at the cave. Cue Forge's UnstoppableRage.
80	** While Erik is running like there's no tomorrow away from Forge, he accidentally slams into Fixer. Is Alkira's first reaction to rush to the two's aid and help them up? Nope! [[ComicallyMissingThePoint Rather, she scolds Fixer for not listening to her when she tells him to look both ways when crossing the street.]]
81	* In the end, Buster is able to snatch the Chaos Gem from Forge when the gang isn't looking. In order to get it back, the gang decides to dote on the unsuspecting Buster and approach the gem slowly. However, [[TemptingFate Fixer decides that NOW is the best time to point out that the plan is working,]] to which Buster swallows the gem immediately. Erik's reaction is what sells it, though.

85	** Alkira attempts to grab Buster herself, but as soon as she gets close to him, she slips and falls face-first in a puddle of slime.
86	** Fixer then tricks Buster into running into a trash can, and traps him inside. However, when Fixer leans on it triumphantly, the trash can begins to rumble, and ''erupts with slime like a volcano, sending everyone back a notch''.
87	** Forge decides to end this once and for all, and decides to head-on attack Buster, (to which Fixer immediately [[IDontThinkThatsSuchAGoodIdea realizes that's a bad idea]].) Forge jumps head at Buster... and gets sent flying back in a pillar of slime. [[IWarnedYou Fixer had attempted to warn him, though it was too late.]]
88	** When [[OnlySaneMan Dawn]] suggests that they give Buster treats and get the gem, they do just that, but wonder how they're going to retrieve the gem. [[MoodWhiplash Immediately,]] Forge destroys Buster from behind, causing an explosion of mechanical parts and slime.

100	* It beings with [[OfficialCouple Emily and Keiran]] at Quayla's cafe, out on a date. As soon as Quayla leaves the room to make them milkshakes, Emily laments that coming to the cafe may have been a bad idea, considering Quayla's ShipperOnDeck personality, and says she may have a "fangirl stroke." Keiran then reassures her that she'll be fine. Then, in a written GilliganCut, Quayla [[{{Squee}} squees]] over [[CutenessProximity how adorable the two are.]]
101	** After that, she gives them both one large milkshake, rather than the two small milkshakes they ordered. Though they do as her about it, ([[BlatantLies to which she replies that there was an accident that made it so she had to use one large glass,]]) they just shrug and decide to roll with it.
102	* While talking to Erik, Quayla notes that some people are too shy to confuse their feelings for another, causing Erik (who's hinted at having a crush on Quayla) to do a SpitTake.
