* When contestants have declared silly words.
** The famous one where both contestants declared [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7gBXPUSXGWs "Wankers"]].
** "I'm sorry I can't resist - *bleep*[Wankers]"
** This exchange...
---> "...and what's yours, Kate?"\
"Erection."\
* audience laughs*\
"Erection. Don't-don't do this to me Kate. I don't want to be on any more late-night 'blooper' shows."
** [[https://twitter.com/_SephusJo_/status/1148366497955438592 "Hentai"]]. [[NarrativeProfanityFilter Dictionary Corner stops just short]] of saying what SubGenre of anime this entails.
* Literally every Conundrum/Teaser in the ''Cats'' version, filled with rude words or innuendos.
* When silly words appear on the wall:
** "Meow"
** "Piss"
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8C1FXPzlmU "Fart"]]
** When [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cb2ynPwoN2M Poof]] showed up on the board.
** Another good one, the letters O-R-G-A showed up on the board, and Carol quickly grabbed her face, fearing that the next letter would be "S". As expected... they ask for a consonant, and the next letter is... N.
** The reigning champ - "[[https://youtu.be/wMW3aS_rTOc Gonad]]". Which became "Gonads", and finally "Ex-Gonads", prompting Joe to strip his shirt off in sheer joy.
** Not a a silly word, but [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qOYv1qicEcc Riley]] - Rachel’s surname - happened to be the first five letters pulled. She says “yay” and pumps her fists in joy while the audience laughs and applauds.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPne-KkQ3rA&feature=related Carol gets a scare]].
* The infamous [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qo0lbWhHLys&feature=youtu.be Kitten Incident]].
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6a7qNl1Fug In this outtake]], one of the contests has just suggested "areola".[[note]]The skin around a nipple.[[/note]] This is followed by Nick announcing it's time for Susie's "special spot"...
** Similarly, Jimmy asks "Okay, Susie, [[https://youtu.be/pHTTQ_gI76k?t=2m50s what have you been looking into recently]]? [[spoiler:...other than gloryholes.]]" This quip stopped the show in its tracks as the panel (and audience) laughed for a good half minute. After the laughs subside...
--->'''Jimmy''': Now what have you been looking into recently? ''({{Beat}} before everyone collapses into laughter again)''
* Richard was once [[CandidCameraPrank GOTCHA'ed]] for an entire episode, only discovering the joke upon seeing the Conundrum answer ([[spoiler:HOGCAT = GOTCHA]]). Only a small portion was ever aired, but the '''full''' taping (complete with stopdown footage) can be seen [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TGvhSTno2WM here.]]
* During the Jan 2019 Champion Of Champions Series (episode broadcast 17th Jan), the first numbers game was so easy that after 2 seconds both contestants spur-of-the-moment broke out into a game of RockPaperScissors.
* A recurring guest of the 8 out of 10 Cats varient of the show is Roisin Conaty, who most famously [[NeverLiveItDown thought that she had the word news when there wasn't even a W on the board]].
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvz4zqqlCiI&ab_channel=Channel4 Joe Wilkinson's poem.]]
* One numbers round (in a 2022 episode hosted by Moira Stuart) had a target of 108... and two of the numbers in the selection were 100 and 8. Everyone onstage burst out laughing when the target came up; Rachel asked, "Can I sit down?" and one contestant immediately shouted, "I've got it!" They still ran the clock, and Rachel did indeed sit down, not even bothering with her usual clipboard and pen for figuring out a solution. After time ran out and the contestants gave their answers to Moira, Rachel asked, "Why are you asking Moira? I'm the numbers expert!"
* In a 2010 episode, one numbers round had a target of 500. Two of the numbers were 50 and 10. Rachel's reaction? Throwing her hands into the air and saying "There's no point. Five hundred." Jeff Stelling started the clock with "The best of luck to you" while trying to keep a straight face. It took the contestants three seconds to write the solution down, followed by 27 seconds of waiting for the clock to run out. Jeff finished the clock with "Now let's see if either of them have managed this", which was followed by sarcastic comments about it. Rachel didn't even bother writing it down, saying that she could do it quicker in her head.
* Colin likes to poke fun at Rachel whenever her birthday (January 11) occurs during the taping of a series. He gives a grand introduction, describing someone who's had an enormous impact on the show -- and then wishes a happy birthday to a celebrity other than Rachel who celebrates it on the same day (American R&B singer Music/MaryJBlige in 2023, British singer Jamelia in 2024).
** 2024: Colin sets out a huge chocolate cake and cuts a piece for Rachel during the first numbers round. When the show comes back from its first break, she's started eating it and he asks her how it tastes. She just turns away with a smug little smile and says, "It's mine. You're not having any."
