* In the episode featuring Dimples, Jon Taffer and his experts watched as a cook was cooking a medium burger without flipping it for almost ''fifteen minutes,'' ensuring it was both burned and unevenly cooked. Near the end, they were yelling, "Flip the burger!"
* In the episode featuring Piratz Tavern, the head "[[LethalChef chef]]" Jucianno attempts to show his "signature dish" to the chef Taffer brings in, having never tasted it himself. The dish is just chicken strips [[BlazingInfernoHellfireSauce with enough red-hot pepper spices on it to qualify as chemical weapons]]. The chef is nearly overwhelmed just by getting a scent of it, and when does he take a bite, he instantly spit it out. The chef then tells Jucianno to try it, at which point he almost immediately wheels around and spits it out into a trash bin.
** Their incredibly unsubtle attempts to play up a good image when Nicole Taffer was doing recon are made even funnier by the fact that Jon ''knew this might happen'' and still used this as his plan.
* In the episode featuring Chilleen's, a horse walked into a bar. Yes, someone rode a live horse into the bar, right in front of Taffer. And then [[RoadApples it crapped on the floor]].
* During the [=ZanZbar=] episode (and that is not a typo; the sign contains that misspelling), one of the first things that happens to the poor undercover patrons is that a guy who has been way over-served sits next to them and tries to talk to them. What comes out is [[TheUnintelligible complete gibberish]]. What does it mean? God only knows.
--> '''Drunk Guy:''' It's a good job, cleaning video.\
'''Mystery Diner:''' Absolutely.\
'''Drunk Guy:''' [[NonSequitur Because we all gotta' pee.]]\
''Drunk Guy leans back like he just imparted great worldly wisdom. Mystery Diner turns away with a "what the hell was that" look aimed right the camera.''
* In the episode featuring Rhythm & Brews, Josh saunters into the kitchen, makes a whole ass pizza from scratch (hamming it up as he does), then leaves the establishment with it, taking the pizza dish as well. Not a single staff member bothered to do something about it.
** Before that, they're watching the pizza chef make a pizza. For some reason, he puts the cheese on ''before'' the sauce.
** Jon casually egging Josh on for this challenge
--->'''Jon''': Why don't you go in there and make us a pizza?
--->'''Josh''': You guys hungry?
--->'''Jon''': ''[excitedly]'' Yeah! Go make us something!
* James's antics throughout the Cashmere episode, which included walking in the ''women's restroom'', ripping off his shirt while [=DJing=], sitting on the bar top itself and pretty much acting like a tool to everyone he interacts with. All while saying [[CatchPhrase "All in!"]].
** The Whip noise effect that plays every time he says it just makes it funnier.
** His Reaction upon first meeting Taffer: OhCrap
** Even Taffer's reactions are pure gold. At one point, Taffer gets so irritated by the constant "All in" chirps that he delivers this gem:
--->'''Taffer''': If he says "All in" one more time, I'm gonna put my fist "all in" his fucking mouth.
** Taffer himself [[ActuallyPrettyFunny even laughs several times]] while watching him.
* During ''Critters and Quitters'', Taffer and his experts are watching one of the spies trying to chew poorly made mozzarella sticks. Taffer actually times her to see if she'll get to sixty seconds before spitting it out. To the spy's credit, [[AndThereWasMuchRejoicing she does]].
** The raccoon plopping down from the ceiling into the bar and running out the door. During service. Just like the horse from Chilleen's, he finds the time to leave [[RoadApples a little present]] behind.
** Taffer's first recon team can't get into the bar because they're not members, and Taffer is screaming at the screen telling the bouncer to tell them how to become a member.
* The Tailgate's stress test features a grease fire starting in the kitchen. After a number of failed attempts to contain/extinguish it - including the chef ineffectually blowing on it - Taffer's kitchen expert Brendan brings out a fire extinguisher that turns out to not work. What sells it is the music's drumbeat gradually building up as Brendan takes aim, and then [[{{Beat}} suddenly cutting off when he squeezes the handle and nothing happens, with Brendan and Taffer having no reaction for about five seconds afterwards]].
** Then when Brendan and Taffer finally get over their surprise, their words and tones just scream "Are you fucking serious?!".
* The "[[InformedAttribute chef]]" from Fairways Golf and Grill provided plenty of [[ComedicSociopathy schadenfreude]] as he struggled, and failed to prepare even the most basic food properly and also failed to demonstrate any knowledge of how to run a kitchen. What made it funny was that [[ConsummateLiar he stuck solidly to his claims of his culinary qualifications]] even as it became obvious that ''he couldn't even make a burger properly.''
** It's particularly easy to enjoy his suffering because he's an emotionally-stunted ManChild who took advantage of his friend, the owner, to get a job [[UltimateJobSecurity he couldn't be fired from.]]
** However, towards the end of the episode, he starts looking more like a JerkassWoobie after he's fired and his sous-chef James is promoted to (and ultimately shines in) his former position. Not only has he been psychologically broken from being exposed as an incompetent liar, but his best friend has (understandably) turned against him, and he's unemployed. After being fired, he rides off on his moped with a comical "beep-beep" noise dubbed in. TheStinger tells us that, six weeks after the rescue, Kevin is ''still'' constantly calling, looking to get his job back.
** James proves to be more than up to the job, though he freely admits he's no culinary expert.
** Taffer gets a good comeback at the owner early in the episode:
--->'''Owner:''' You killed my kitchen.
--->'''Taffer:''' You almost killed my frickin' mixologist.
* After remodelling The Artful Dodger/Radio, Jon introduces P's & Q's Autobody [[note]] Jon's theme was an old-fashioned speakeasy disguised as an autobody shop [[/note]].
--> The fact is, you weren't very good at running a bar, so I built you an autobody shop.
** During the 18 and over stress test, one of the underage girls drinking sees the cameraman filming her and chases him down the street ''in heels''. The kicker is, the cameraman clearly saw her as no threat as he continues to film her as he's running away.
* After being taken to task for her bartenders' inability to consistently make Perfect Manhattans, Season 4's Sissy [[AskAStupidQuestion actually asks Jon if he has any experience in the bar business]]. This goes down as well as you might expect; Jon frowns at her in disbelief, expert Phil looks like he's about to burst into incredulous laughter, and then Jon smugly tells Sissy that he's not going to dignify her question with an answer.
* Connie, the short, fat "security" lady from The Tailgate who spends the evening camped out at the door drinking in an outfit better suited for Strawberry Shortcake. The sound effects that play as she licks and all but makes out with her glass are both hilarious and disturbing.
* The "Back to the Bar" episode that revisited Underground Wonderbar ends with Lonie performing a special hippie TakeThat song for Taffer live in her bar with a full band, complete with FollowTheBouncingBall for the viewing audience. The show then closes with DJ Blue Steel ([[CatchPhrase "All in!"]]) ''remixing it''.
--> ''Chonka-chonk!!!''
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELIxOjk_6I8 Taffer decides to run for President.]]
* The WhereAreTheyNowEpilogue after Jon rescues Speakeasy/Second Line Co. The last message reveals that "Amanda is no longer twerking."
* At The Crossroads Grille (which is not yet The Gaddy Shack), the surviving bartenders and servers appear to be crushing on Derrick Turner (the episode's mixologist). One of them is comparing his shaking motions (the preparation of the cocktail) to dancing the samba. The poor guy is blushing the whole time!
* At Paladin's (which is not yet Theory), this lovely little gem, courtesy of one of the bartenders:
-->'''Leah:''' They're not kidding when they say, stress test. Holy ''*bleep!*''
* Mia Mastroianni is working with the Country Nights bartenders. She whips out the "drunk goggles," which are meant to simulate an ImpairmentShot, and utter lunacy ensues. (Did you really expect them ''not'' to screw up?)
* Mia is doing recon at Mac and Chester's and gets dispatched to the separate bar out at the softball hut. She asks what the specialty drink is and gets answered, "Slut Hut Special." Her reaction clearly indicates she thought she'd just lost a few brain cells.
* On the Joe's Thirsty Lizard episode ("Mississippi Rears") [[ThePigpen Dirty Red]] spends so much time cleaning his wreck of a kitchen that he has no time to go home and clean ''himself'' up. Cue multiple FanDisservice shots as he showers in the dishwashing station. Then the rest of the staff (and Taffer) walk in on him:
-->'''Mike:''' Tip of the day: don't get the degreaser in your peepee, it stings.\
'''Dirty Red:''' Eh, it ain't gonna be any worse than gonorrhea, right?
* In "Pat's Cocktails", Taffer tests the owner during recon by having the bartender give out free drinks and sees if he will pick up on it. What ensues are comically extreme levels of RefugeInAudacity. The bartender pours nearly 70 drinks, 20 of which were while he was right next to her and looking right at them and not getting the obvious hint. Even when they all ''thank him'' for the free drinks, he's still oblivious.
* During recon for Oasis Hookah Bar, Jon sees that the bar is practically a biohazard, as everything from the furniture to the consumables weren't kept up to standard. After one of his spies pukes, they cut to the owner and his supervisor who are playing a game of Connect Four in his office, prompting Jon to unleash this moment of Narm:
-->'''Jon:''' We got a bar that's so disgusting people are puking all over the damn place! And they're sitting in the office playing fucking GAMES!\
