14	* The Mach 5 has an auto repair function for its tires right? Putting built in jacks makes sense if you take this into account. Obviously you can't just press the "replace tire" button while the car is sitting on the ground and traditional jacks require the driver to get out of the car. So instead of jacking up the car, climbing back in, pressing the button for the auto repair then climbing back out collapsing and storing the jack and reentering the vehicle you press two buttons and you are ready to go again. The extra weight is worth it.

21	* If a Bernoulli Convergenator is so much better than transponders or the other power sources on the circuit, why isn't it being used in all of the T-180 race cars? Well, it's entirely possible that the convergenator is an invention (likely by someone named Bernoulli) that's under patent and the intellectual property (again, likely of Bernoulli) of a small operation that isn't under one of the 'big five' corporations in the racing world. In the real world, large corporations will often try to pressure smaller businesses with novel innovations to sell or otherwise acquire them, and some of the less scrupulous methods can involve ensuring the innovation doesn't enter public consciousness until they have or the patent expires and the companies are free to make their own versions. Using this logic, we can assume that the convergenator's patent hasn't run out and that Bernoulli has not sold out to any larger company, preferring to do less business rather than give up control of a superior invention. This would mean that the convergenator would definitely be something highly prized for a small operation like the Racer family that does custom cars even if it's being shunned by the larger corporations and isn't well-known to the public.
