!!FridgeLogic:
* Of course you can buy condoms in America. It's a [=CMoF=] because Colin is so convinced that he'll find girls who love his accent so quickly might not have ''time'' to find a place to buy them, which he's entirely correct about.
* How did Mark know that Juliet would answer the door, and not Peter, for his [[spoiler: GrandRomanticGesture with the cue cards professing his love for her?]]
** Well it was a 50-50 chance of Juliet answering the door herself. If Peter answered then Mark could have just said he needed to speak to Juliet about something quickly and couldn't stay for too long. As luck would have it, he didn't need to.
* If the whole office is aware of Sarah's crush on Karl, including Karl himself, then why did it take him years to make a move on her? It's not like he wouldn't have had the opportunity before and he obviously finds her attractive as they end up almost sleeping together.
** We only have the ShipperOnDeck's word for it that Karl ''does'' know about Sarah's crush on him. We're also not told how long Karl has known about Sarah's crush on him if Harry is right in his assessment. It could easily be the case that Karl had also been harbouring a secret crush on Sarah and only recently found out it was mutual - hence why he's still relatively awkward about asking her to dance with him at the party (and even more awkward when the music switches to the slow-dancing type).

!!FridgeBrilliance:
* Joanna ''does'' fancy Sam and her pointing at him first during "All I Want For Christmas" was her way of saying it to him, without actually say it (she is a preteen girl after all).
** And then she points to everyone else, singing "And you, and you," making Sam think it was all part of the song and kicking off the airport scene. She may have come over all shy.
* Harry really does still love Karen. He thoughtlessly, almost reluctantly, buys Mia the first pretty bauble he can find, but gets Karen a gift that he knew she would like because he listens to her, and knew she would appreciate because he knows and loves her enough.
* During the surprise wedding performance, the flute players are conspicuously located behind a couple with a baby. The rest of the instruments--trombones, trumpets, and saxophones--played that close to the baby would hurt their ears and cause them to cry, thus ruining the performance, but flutes have a much gentler sound and aren't nearly as painfully loud as the other instruments. And thus, the baby is not startled or distressed by the music, and the beautiful moment proceeds happily.
* Why does Karen and Harry's daughter end up playing a lobster of all things in the school nativity? Well, at the end of the film Natalie's Mum informs David that this is a special Christmas concert involving children from ''all'' the local schools in the area. Clearly whichever teacher wrote the script struggled coming up with parts for all the additional children involved.
* There's a significant clue to the fact that Harry outright cheated with Mia, years before TPTB revealed it. She's seen getting out of a messy bed, wearing nothing but her underwear. It's unfortunately not hard to figure out at all.

!!FridgeSadness:
* Mia says Mark isn't her boyfriend and we see him being friendly to her. He's trying to get over Juliet and the girl he's trying it on with is pretty much rejecting him in favour of a much older guy.
** To be fair, he's no more friendly towards Mia (onscreen, anyway) than he is to Sarah when he meets her at Peter and Juliet's wedding reception. Sure, it would be much more convenient for everyone were Mia and Mark to get together to get over their mutual state of wanting to be with someone who is ostensibly unavailable to them, but Mark is clearly not ready to even think about getting over Juliet until he actually admits that he's in love with her in the cue card scene - hence his declaration of "enough now" as he's walking away from the house having told Juliet exactly how he feels "without hope or agenda". To me, the true Fridge Sadness concerning Mark is that even in the epilogue he's still apparently something of a third wheel to Peter and Juliet's relationship and doesn't appear to have found anyone for himself despite now being ready to move on.
!!FridgeHorror
* While Karen is in her room crying upon realizing that Harry gave the gold necklace to someone else, we get a brief glimpse of Mia getting out of bed to put it on. Meaning that he slept with her that night, then came home to play "happy family" with his wife and kids within a few hours. Just. . .ew.
