* Whispy Woods' acquired ship piece could probably not be his fault. When they were flying through the air the oars could have landed in his branches. He attacks Kirby on sight because he doesn't like him; and when he is beaten and does a PostDefeatExplosionChain it knocks the piece out of his branches.
** Sadly, this explanation has been Jossed with the new pause screen lore in Deluxe. Turns out Whispy found the oars, was taken with them, and doesn't want Kirby anywhere near them.
* The Plasma ability's merged with the Spark ability in this game. This isn't much, unless you realized via a GeniusBonus that electricity's made up of plasma. Thus, Plasma ability merged with Spark the same way Burning merged with Fire and Freeze merged with Ice.
* It's already circulated that the first letter of each level's name spells out the word "CROWNED." But there's another little layer to it. At first, even if you notice it after the first five levels, then you'd think it's just foreshadowing the prominent crown atop Landia's head. Then, as the level moves onto Egg Engines and Dangerous Dinner, you realize that with that pattern in mind, it's not spelling simply the object, but a word used to signify someone already has it. And with an all-star hero like Kirby leading the way, the crown was already as good as Magolor's.
* Take a look at Magolor's name. And then Lor Starcutter. Whether it was intentional or not, both have the word "Lor" in them. This could mean that he and the ship were destined to meet, and possibly that he had good intentions in the first place to collect the crown. But the crown itself had different ideas...
** Alternatively, since Magolor owns the ship, he's the Mage of Lor.
** Kirby Star Allies' postgame reveals that "Lor" means "Paradise." Magolor could have chosen his name to sound more trustworthy!
* Magolor is constantly typing at his computer, but the monitor just keeps saying the same thing. He's pretending to be busy so you won't ask too many questions!
* The name of the last level is fittingly named after the last meal of the day: Dangerous Dinner. In the same vein, the first level, Cookie Country, is named after a kind of snack sometimes eaten for breakfast, while the level housing the ClimaxBoss, Nutty Noon, is named after the mid-point of the day.
* Landia seems to have better resistance towards the Master Crown's destructive power than Magolor, if the crown not wrapping around his head and him not receiving a monstrous transformation from the crown are any indication. This makes sense since he has four heads, and may possibly be four dragons fused into one; three of Landia's heads aren't wearing the Master Crown at any given point of time and therefore aren't influenced by its corruptive power, meaning they can negate its effects.
* In Deluxe the missions to wear a certain masks for certain minigames might not make sense at first. However the characters on those masks do have a link to those minigames, either through their appearances or personalities.
** Egg Catcher has you wear a Dedede mask. In the original version of that minigame, Dedede was throwing those eggs.
** Samurai Kirby has a Waddle Doo mask. He was the first opponent in the original Samurai Kirby.
** Checkerboard Chase has the Adeleine mask, and Checkerboard Chase debuted in VideoGame/Kirby64TheCrystalShards, which is the game with Adeleine's biggest appearance.
** Bomb Rally has Nightmare Wizard. Bomb Rally is from Nightmare in Dream Land, a remake of his debut game.
** Crackity Hack has Dark Meta Knight. Crackity Hack was also a sub-game in VideoGame/KirbyAndTheAmazingMirror, where Dark Meta Knight debuted. Considering that Dark Meta Knight has been shown to be more powerful than Meta Knight, who is already a very powerful character... It makes sense his minigame would be one where he can show off his strength.
** Smash Ride debuted in VideoGame/KirbySqueakSquad and has the Daroach mask, the leader of the titular squad.
** Kirby on the Draw has the Marx mask. This is a game that first appeared in VideoGame/KirbySuperStar Ultra, a remake of the game where Marx was the BigBad. It's also about destroying things, which fits his character.
** Ninja Dojo has Bandana Waddle Dee, and comes from the original Return to Dream Land, the game where he became an AscendedExtra.
** Magolor's Tome Trackers has Elfilin. Elfilin is a very helpful person -- in his home game, he helps Kirby find hidden Present Codes in town and in the postgame. He's perfectly suited for a game about helping Magolor find books.
** Booming Blasters, a game about shooting people with laser guns, features Susie, a character associated with futuristic technology.
* Deluxes Magolor Epilogue features counterparts of the original game's first five bosses... except there is no counterpart to Whispy Woods. This might be to avoid redundancy with the final boss of the mode: the Master Crown in the form of a corrupted tree that attacks with apples (among other things.)
** Also with the way the combo system works, it’d be far too easy to rack up ridiculously high scores on Whispy Woods.
* In the Magolor Epilogue, Magolor's moveset can be upgraded to nearly fully recreate his moveset in VideoGame/KirbyStarAllies, but some moves remain unavailable to him for storyline-related reasons:
** Magolor finds the sword he uses to create his Ultra Sword only after fighting the Master Crown, using the Ultra Sword to finish it off.
** Since the Magolor Epilogue's ending is shown to take place before (and set up Magolor's shopkeeper role in) VideoGame/TeamKirbyClashDeluxe and VideoGame/SuperKirbyClash, he wouldn't have any Gem Apples to use as bombs.
** Given that the game's FlavorText describes the Lor Starcutter as sentient, and suspicious of Magolor ever since the two had met, it likely was in no hurry to attempt to reunite with Magolor after he was sent across dimensions. The fact that Magolor can freely use the Lor as a ramming attack in Star Allies in turn suggests that the Lor would recognize at some point that Magolor had made a proper HeelFaceTurn.
* The reason why Magolor Soul doesn't use the same attacks as every other Soul boss in the series? The Master Crown drains and consumes the user's soul in order to use their body as a puppet. Magolor Soul's descriptions also hint that the Master Crown is in control and being an object, it has no soul of its own. As such, Magolor is unable to use Void's power to resurrect himself, hence why his Soul form uses none of the attacks associated with Void and the other Soul bosses.
* As out of nowhere as the reveal in Deluxe that Magolor Fauxreigner isn't actually from Halcandra may seem, it actually makes a fair amount of sense. Halcandra is a decimated world where Mordor the few remaining plants are all dead or dying, and the rest of it is a giant volcano. Besides the enemies and Landia, there are almost no signs of life in the entire dimension, so how could anyone logically come from there?

* During the fight with the Lor Starcutter, it fires stars, launches oars, releases a whirlwind, and attacks you with boomerangs. What does it use to do these things? Its emblem, oars, mast, and wings, respectively. The same ones you had to collect. Yeah, that's right, by collecting all those parts, you essentially weaponized the Lor Starcutter.
* Look closely at Magolor Soul, particularly his center. With his mouth exposed and without his trademark robes, he looks less like Magolor's normal form and more like a demon- (or worse, Zero-) possessed Kirby. Also keep in mind that despite the name, Magolor Soul is a manifestation of the Master Crown, not him. If, say, Kirby had put it on instead, then he could have turned into that abomination, if not something even worse.
* Notice how Magolor doesn't even put on the crown. It just floats onto his head. The Crown is no doubt sentient. Alive. And evil too. What if it influenced the alien even before the crowning?
* There's speculation that the Master Crown itself is either a part of or made from Dark Matter. Which could mean that even Landia wasn't in control of their actions. Their eyes are green, then red when they wear the crown. And as soon as it's off, they're blue. I don't think that's a coincidence we should ignore...
** This theory is slightly supported by Void Termina using a replica of the Master Crown in his boss fight, given how it can resemble Dark Matter in its true form...
** Also, look at the state of Halcandra. There's also some speculation that Landia turned it into what it is now (lava, dying nature), if it wasn't that way already. Deluxe adds more evidence to this, as the Master Crown is stated to be a CivilizationDestroyer that corrupts its wearer into an OmnicidalManiac, suggesting Landia destroyed Halcandra while under the control of the crown.
