A 2015 comedy horror movie directed by Robert Pickering, it revolves around Dag Parker (played by Creator/NicholasBraun), a human teenager that lives on the small town of Dillford which has a dark secret: vampires and zombies live alongside its townspeople. They lived in a very delicate, but peaceful harmony up until the day that an invasion happens throwing the town off the balance. Now its every man for himself, with vampires and zombies preying on the others while the aliens are indiscriminately abducting everyone they find. Now its up to Dag and his other two monstrous friends, the zombie Ned (Josh Fadem) and the vampire Petra (Creator/MackenzieDavis), to find a way to unite the three people from killing each other and stand together with the alien threat.

!!''Freaks of Natures'' provides examples of:

* AliensAreBastards: The aliens are the main villains of the movie. [[spoiler:It's ultimately subverted in the end, when they insist that they only wanted to politely ask for the chemical that they desired, but because the townsfolk were all in the middle of killing each other, they isolated each group for their own protection. When the townsfolk get riled up by the aliens' judgmental condescension and trite regurgitating of Billy Joel lyrics, they rise up against the aliens, who ultimately ''do'' become hostile]].
* AliensOfLondon: The alien speaks with the distinct voice of Werner Herzog. One town resident wonders why it has a German accent.
* ArtisticLicenseChemistry: Ammonia (for conserving the riblets or whatnot) is a gas. So let's assume it's a watery ammonia solution (or very cold liquid ammonia) that turns to be out to be the aliens weakness. In either case, spraying the stuff liberally like in the film would make the air become unhealthy very fast. Everyone in the room would be overcome and killed in short order. And don't even start on the tetrafluorothingamajig.
* BaitAndSwitch: In the cafeteria, when Ned gets pushed over by vampire Milan, a jock tels Chaz Jr that his brother's a dick. Turns out Chaz Jr is Ned's older brother, and Chaz agreed because Ned was accused of checking out Petra.
* BettyAndVeronicaSwitch: Petra and Lorelei are respectively the BettyAndVeronica for Dag, the former being a shy and introverted CuteMonsterGirl while the latter is a promiscuous and sensual MsFanservice. However, Petra is a vampire, while the Lorelei is a human who gets [[MurderTheHypotenuse killed by her rival]] halfway through the story. [[spoiler:Dag ultimately picks Petra at the end]].
* BigBadWannabe: Milan, Petra's sire, is a constant thorn on the protagonists's side even while a alien invasion is underway and he obviously doesn't hold a candle next to them. [[spoiler:During the movie's climax, he tries to kill them one last time while the alien entity is rampaging inside the complex, but gets killed by Dag in his werewolf form]].
* ChickenWalker: The aliens utilize a mecha vehicle with chicken legs to move on the ground.
* CrazySurvivalist: Patton Oswalt built a bomb cellar stocked with provisions because he believes that an apocalypse is imminent. He didn't consider that it would be an alien invasion, however.
* CuteMonsterGirl: Petra Lane; while other vampires have MoreTeethThanTheOsmondFamily, she only has small CuteLittleFangs and is quite pretty. [[spoiler:Same can be said about Lorelei after she is turned]].
* BlackEyesOfEvil: The vampires' eyes turn black when they are about to feed.
* DeadStarWalking: Stuart Miller played by Patton Oswalt lasts all but one scene before he gets devoured by Dag's friends. [[spoiler:Lorelei, played by Vanessa Hughens,]] seemingly goes the same route too, but she is turned into a vampire instead and survives.
* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: Ned reveals he intentionally turned himself into a zombie in order to escape the neglect from his parents, who don't give a crap about his future compared to his brother's, which can be applied to getting into drugs or committing suicide since he's now undead.
** Dag's parents talking about his body going through a transformation seems to be a awkward talk about puberty, but turns out [[spoiler: they are actually talking about him becoming an werewolf]].
* FanDisservice: Turns out the aliens can only detect inorganic matter such as clothing, meaning the heroes have to strip completely in order to get past them, which means even Ned the zombie has to get naked.
* FurAgainstFang: [[spoiler:At the end of the movie, Dag turns into a werewolf and fights against Milan to protect Petra from him]].
* JockDadNerdSon: Ned's father is a car salesman that's completely dismissive of his son's dream of becoming an engineer, putting all his support behind older brother Chaz Jr's prospects to become a professional baseball player. In the past, Ned joined the baseball team at the urging of his father, but gave up after Chaz Jr stole his thunder.
* LightIsNotGood: The aliens' true form are [[spoiler:small white gelatinous creatures that pilot their chicken mechas and they jump into the riblets in order to combine into a tall, single being of light.]]
* LiteralManeater: Stuart proposes sex to Petra, telling that they need to repopulate the city after the invasion is done. She has different plans and feeds on him instead.
* LovableAlphaBitch: Lorelei is a pot-smoking, promiscuous popular girl who ignores the unpopular Dag's flirting and uses him to hide her drugs. However, she doesn't go out of her way to lord over other people, enjoys talking to Dag, and [[spoiler:doesn't hold a grudge over Petra turning her into a vampire or ending up with Dag right when Lorelei started liking him back.]]
* MacGuffin: The veggie riblets that the town produces.
* MeleeATrois: Humans, zombies and vampires live at peace with each other until [[OutsideContextProblem aliens]] arrive. Immediately, humans and vampires accuse the other of bringing the aliens to get rid of them and zombies riot because they haven't received their [[BrainFood brains]] yet. This results in a town-wide fight between all three populations, who are then all attacked by the aliens.
* MonsterMash: Vampires and zombies coexist with humans in the same town, and they are attacked by aliens. It's also revealed that [[spoiler:werewolves do exist, and Dag's family is the only known one]].
* MsFanservice: Lorelei spends most of the movie in her nighties. [[spoiler:After being turned into a vampire by Petra, its revealed that her boobs also grew in size]].
* MurderTheHypotenuse: Petra kills Lorelei out of pure jealousy for her dating Dag. [[spoiler:Subverted when it turns out that Lorelei survived as a vampire]].
* OurVampiresAreDifferent: They are vulnerable to sunlight, though they can bypass this weaknesses by covering themselves in lotion or layers of cloth. Stakes kills them pretty much instantly as they explode into a cloud of blood.
* OurWerewolvesAreDifferent: [[spoiler:Dag is revealed to be one at the end of the movie as his transformation is complete]].
* OurZombiesAreDifferent: While they seem to be the brain-eating variant, they are revealed to be very high-functioning if they stop feeding.
* OverlyLongGag: Ned's father Chaz spends a long time complaining about how he's being devoured by zombies and not dying. Dag lampshades it asking "Why are we still watching" (without stopping watching, of course).
* ParentalFavoritism: The Mosley parents define everything by how it benefits Chaz Junior, actively dismissing any impact to what Ned wants to do with his life.
* PoorCommunicationKills: [[spoiler: The aliens aren't necessarily evil, they just want the veggie riblets produced by the townspeople because they need the chemical additive used to produce it. They are abducting everyone in order to keep them safe from harm and place them in a special prison until they can locate the riblets, but unfortunately, their attack ended up causing the zombies and vampires to rise up and cause massive destruction]].
* RomanticVampireBoy: Gender-flipped version with Petra, who is in love with the main protagonist Dag. Milan is a subverted parody, portrayed as a HandsomeLech, who simply [[DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything used Petra for her blood]].
* SexSignalsDeath: Lorelei, the movie's MsFanservice character and highly promiscuous gets killed halfway through the plot by Petra in a fit of jealousy. [[spoiler:Turns out its a subversion, since she becomes a vampire and survives by the end]].
* ShoutOut:
** The vampire hunter that saves Dag and Lorelei extends his hand to them and says "[[Franchise/{{Terminator}} Come with me if you want to live]]".
** Upon hearing about a alien invasion, Stuart asks if they are communicating with music just like ''Film/CloseEncountersOfTheThirdKind''.
* SkewedPriorities: When it becomes public knowledge that there are aliens abducting people, both the humans and vampires ''immediately'' go off topic and [[FantasticRacism use this as an excuse to insight race war against each other]].
* {{Squick}}: In-universe reaction: "That's what our riblets are made of?"
* TokenHuman: While the main trio start out as all human, Ned and Petra are turned into a zombie and a vampire, respectivelly, at the very beginning, leaving Dag as the only human among them. [[spoiler: Later subverted when Dag turns out to be a werewolf all along]].
* TooDumbToLive: Stuart designs the bunker specifically to guard himself from vampires and is forced to let one in when taking Dag inside. Instead of acting on his survivalist instincts, he promptly tells the female vampire that they will have to breed to repopulate the city after the invasion is done. Guess what happens next...
* TownWithADarkSecret: Vampires and zombies live alongside humans, with each group believing that they've got it the worst. In the end, it's revealed that [[spoiler:werewolves are around as well]].
* TwoGuysAndAGirl: Dag, Ned and Petra form this dynamic.
* VampiresAreSexGods: Petra is very attractive, Milan is a sexy and mysterious TallDarkAndHandsome vampire, and [[spoiler:Lorelei]], who was ''already'' sexy, points out that [[BreastExpansion her boobs grew]] after she was turned.
* WaxingLyrical: As OverlyLongGag, when the alien recites [[Music/BillyJoel "We Didn't Start The Fire"]]...and not only this line, which would have been sufficient to recognize it and for this trope. Annoying everyone.
* TheWorldsExpertOnGettingKilled: Dag and Lorelei are momentarily saved by a vampire hunter who saves them from attacking vampires. And then he gets devoured and torn apart by zombies.
* WrongGenreSavvy: Stuart is paranoid that an vampire apocalypse is going to happen at any moment and made an bunker to protect himself. An apocalypse just happens, only its an ''alien invasion''.
