Team Rocket always seems to be altering between trying to kill him and revive their fallen leader, the Dark Lord Giovanni — or at least his cause.

But as you keep reading, the story quickly goes from mostly lighthearted to serious. This fic also delves into much darker areas, such as pedophilia, gaslighting, PTSD, etc., and are treated very seriously once the issues come to light.

Rather than gloss over the mechanical differences between the two settings (levels, see-through Pokéballs, etc), it embraces them, going so far as to integrate them into the plot. While it may be dead and [[KeepCirculatingTheTapes nearly gone]], it's a must-read if you've ever wanted to see the Anime and the Manga settings interact.
