-> ''"So, who will fall under the pressure now that the cast truly knows the circumstances of this game? What friendships will form? Who shall become mortal enemies? And most importantly, who will be the first one to be eliminated from the game?! Find out next time, on Total! Drama! Island!"''

''Fuzzy Memories'' is an ongoing series of SYOC ''WesternAnimation/TotalDrama'' and ''Franchise/{{Pokemon}}'' crossover fanfictions, created and written by ''[[https://www.fanfiction.net/u/4539682/Fuzzboy Fuzzboy]]'' and ''[[https://www.fanfiction.net/u/5221831/DeltaXtreme Delta]]''. The series acts as a reimagining/"what if?" series, taking the contestants of both writer's previous and current works, and then placing them inside the original Total Drama as the contestants. The series' hosts are made up of [[AlphaBitch Amber]] and [[CampStraight Logan]], and they're currently employing [[LethalChef Tyson]] as the chef.

''[[https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12757385/1/Fuzzy-Memories-Total-Drama-Island Fuzzy Memories: Total Drama Island]]'' is the first season of the series, acting as a reimagining of Total Drama Island. The season takes twenty four teenagers and placing them on an abandoned island to compete for 100,000 poke, they are split up into two teams; [[TheSmartGuy The Brainy Baltoy]] and [[TheBigGuy The Brawny Basculin]], and are subsequently forced into competing against one another in challenges, that go on to test their relationships, push their strength to the absolute limit, emotionally break their morality, and place all kinds of barriers against their own sanity! This season introduces [[BigBadWannabe Ace]], Alfred, [[TheQuincyPunk Alia]], [[BigEater Bari]], [[MasterActor Benson]], [[JerkassBall Brick]], [[DeadpanSnarker Brooke]], [[LovableJock Chad]], [[AntiHero Cynthia]], [[{{Troll}} Doc]], [[TheQuietOne Freya]], [[KindheartedSimpleton Gareth]][[spoiler:/[[JerkWithAHeartOfGold Gein]]]], [[HeroicWillpower Isabel]], [[CuteGhostGirl Juvia]], [[DepravedHomosexual Kaden]], [[ShipperOnDeck Kanaya]], [[TheAloner Mimi]], [[SassyBlackWoman Nazira]], [[DorkKnight Nedrick]], [[FriendToAllLivingThings Quincy]], [[{{Jerkass}} Sage]], [[PintsizedPowerhouse Tempest]], [[EmotionlessGirl Violet]], and [[UnluckyEverydude Zetsu]] as new additions to the cast. The winner of the season was [[spoiler:Nazira]].

While more seasons were planned ''and'' attempted, the stories were rather anti-climatically canceled in late 2019.

! The Fuzzy Memories Series Contains Examples of:
* AbsurdlySharpBlade: Unfortunately for Isabel, both her hands are actually just incredibly sharp scythes that puncture and stand just about anything they touch, meaning she actually have a pair of absurdly sharp blades on them at all times, whether she likes it or not.
* AbsurdPhobia: ''"Phobia Factor"'' is filled to the brim with some of the most ridiculous fears possible.
* AcademicAlphaBitch: Ace is a known genius, but is also a total prick to most people around him([[HeroWithAnFInGood though he is at least trying to be nicer]]).
* AcademicAthlete: Despite his [[IdiotBall occasional bouts of absolute idiocy]], WordOfGod has confirmed that Chad actually gets straight A's in all of his classes.
* TheAce: ''Tempest!'' Among the entire cast, she is the only one who consistently does very well in challenges she participates in, usually being one of the best players due to her immense strength and ability to counter other's weaknesses.
* {{Acrofatic}}: Quincy may be a bit heavier set then most of the other contestants, but he's surprisingly able to keep up with his competition with surprising results. Probably helps that while he may not look the part, Quincy is actually very fit in his own right.
* AesopAmnesia: A major plotline of '''FMTDI''' is that Brick actually slowly begins to forget the lesson he had learned very early on in the season(AKA, to be kinder and less egotistical). By ''"Basic Straining"'', he's basically completely forgotten it to a point where he actually tried to vote off Bari, despite him possibly being his only friend left by that point, which truly showed just how far gone Brick seemed to be.
** However, by the season finale, [[spoiler:this is actually [[InvertedTrope inverted]], as Brick had actually made some real efforts in making sure this no longer affected him.]]
* AFriendInNeed:
** Upon TheReveal that [[spoiler:Nedrick had been mauled by an Ursaring, and thus be eliminated automatically from the show to get medical services, everyone was quick to comfort him, with Nazira even planting a kiss on his head despite not returning his feelings for her(at the time).]]
** Juvia and Violet's choices to [[spoiler:purposefully eliminate themselves in order to keep Gareth in the game]].
* AintTooProudToBeg: Ultimately and surprisingly [[InvertedTrope Inverted]]; upon failing to live up to his word about winning his team the challenge in ''"Not Quite Famous"'', Benson follows through with what he said he would do and votes for himself to leave, despite some of his teammates, including Brick and Sage, expressing doubts that he'd actually do it and would attempt to weasel his way out of elimination.
* TheAlcoholic: Logan is a fan of drinking, with some of his personal favorites being red wine and margaritas. He apparently used to have a serious problem though.
* ALighterShadeOfBlack: Despite her status as the [[spoiler:BigBad]] of '''FMTDI''' overall, Cynthia isn't actually evil in any real way, simply taking on an antagonistic role due to her more cutthroat strategy compared to most. Otherwise, she's actually a very kind girl in her own right, especially compared to the ''many'' other antagonists of the season, such as [[DepravedHomosexual Kaden]], [[JerkWithAHeartOfJerk Sage]], and [[ToxicFriendInfluence Brick]].
* AllGirlsWantBadBoys: Mimi falls in love with the [[{{Troll}} anarchistic and potentially mentally unstable, Doc]].
* AllLoveIsUnrequited:
** Throughout most of the pre-merge of '''FMTDI''', Mimi was under the impression that Doc didn't and never would return her feelings, and from how he acted and how oblivious he seemed to be to her feelings in the first place, you can't really blame her. [[spoiler:Come ''"Camp Castaways"'', and it's revealed that they ''both'' had feelings for each other, and decide to start a relationship]].
** Nedrick formed a pretty huge crush on Nazira after she won a fight with him, and over the course of the rest of their episodes together, they consistently snark and flirt with one another, despite the latter making a quick point of how she's mostly just playing around and doesn't return his feelings in any way. [[spoiler:By the finale of '''FMTDI''', after having shown nothing but loyalty and kindness to her when she believes she doesn't deserve it, Nazira realizes she returns Nedrick's feelings, and they begin a relationship]].
* AllMenArePerverts: Throughout '''FMTDI''', the men of the show constantly end up perving on the girls on some manner, from mild innuendo-laced flirting towards them, to some more...''Obvious'' examples of the guys being perverted. Probably the biggest offender of this is Zetsu, who consistently ends up acting like a pervert towards his girlfriend, Tempest.
* AllOrNothing: At the end of the season, you're either the winner and walk away with a huge sum of money, or you lose and get nothing.
* AloofAlly: After their alliance first begins from a threat, Nazira continues to act hostile and aggressive towards Cynthia for a decent portion of time. However, over time the two gradually warm up to each other. By the end of '''FMTDI''', the two had developed to a point of viewing each other as best friends.
* AlwaysSecondBest: [[TheBigGuy The Brawny Basculin]] always failed to actually match-up to the [[TheSmartGuy Brainy Baltoy]] in terms of challenge wins.
* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: Even though Tempest constantly proves herself to be strong, she also constantly faces off against those who are actually far stronger than her.
* AmazonianBeauty: Cynthia, Isabel, Nazira, and Tempest are all rather strong and independent in terms of personality, and they're all also seen as incredibly attractive, or in the latter's case, adorable.
** AmazonChaser: Kanaya, Nedrick, and Zetsu all also have had major crushes on or have begun relationships with these same girls.
* AmbitionIsEvil: Ultimately, it's Cynthia's strive to try and be perfect that causes her to become [[spoiler:the BigBad of '''FMTDI''']].
* [[AFatherToHisMen A Mother to Her Men]]: Isabel is a consistently kind and fair leader to her team, even coming to them to act as a type of moral support when they need it most.
* AmusingInjuries: A large majority of the injuries on the show are played heavily for laughs.
* AnguishedDeclarationOfLove: Kanaya ultimately [[spoiler:reveals her feelings for Isabel [[PoorlyTimedConfession right before they're about to be "killed" by a psycho killer]], but does it in a ''very'' inappropriate way that causes Isabel to just become furious with her]].
* AnIcePerson: Amber has power over ice powers, leading to her freezing those who piss her off several times across the series.
* [[AnimalsHateHim Animals Hate Them]]: Gareth generally has terribly luck with all wild Pokemon in general, with them usually becoming immediately antagonistic towards him, with the most notable example being the Beedrill and Combee on the island.
** In the case of Tempest and Zetsu, it's a bit more warranted, as the former regularly fights against and hunts them(which the latter eventually joined).
** Completely [[InvertedTrope Inverted]] in the case of Quincy, who all of the animals instead seem to love unconditionally.
* TheAntiNihilist: Both Gareth and Quincy are more than well aware of just how horrible the world seems to be despite their low intelligence. Despite this, they're easily some of the most positive and kind members of the entire cast as a whole, and usually go out of their ways to make others feel better.
* [[AnyoneCanDie Anyone Can Be Eliminated]]: Due to the nature of the show, it really isn't any surprise that absolutely any contestant can be eliminated at any time during the show. In fact, several major characters will usually be cut before the merge of a season, and as the finale gets closer, they just keep on dropping.
* [[ArchEnemy Arch Enemies]]:
** Alia and Benson were at one another's throats very early on in '''FMTDI''' due to their contrasting personalities and goals, with neither enjoying the other's company too much and found themselves quickly beginning to insult one another for minimal reasoning. However, they eventually were able to make amends with one another, and further on in the series, actually become good friends.
** Mimi and Violet began to hold grudges against each other after insulting one another's boyfriends in '''FMTDI''', which eventually spiraled into hatred as they began to get violent. Even now the two have issues, despite at once having tried to fix things between them.
** Cynthia and Doc turned into sworn enemies and rivals during the latter half of '''FMTDI''' after [[spoiler:Doc eliminated Cynthia's friend, Chad, due to being a threat, and mocking her afterwards]]. They did actually make up after being forced to spend a day with each other, but the rivalry was sparked again almost immediately after [[spoiler:Cynthia eliminated Doc's girlfriend, Mimi. However, despite these issues, they finally did make up completely [[spoiler:right before Cynthia was eliminated]].
** Gareth and [[spoiler:Gein]] originally ''hated'' each other due to a large number of personal issues between them. [[spoiler:They did ultimately become good friends far later on into their life though]].
* ArchnemesisDad: Both Cynthia and Zetsu's worst enemies in their lives are their horribly [[AbusiveParents abusive fathers]].
* ArrogantKungFuGuy: Brick usually seems to believe he's far stronger and better at fighting than he actually is.
* ArtifactOfDoom: The totem Mimi found and gave to Doc as a present may have seemed harmless, [[spoiler:but was ultimately responsible for Nedrick's [[LessDisturbingInContext medical evacuation and elimination]] from '''FMTDI''']].
* AsianAndNerdy: Alfred, Nedrick, and Zetsu are all Asian(WordOfGod has confirmed Alfred and Zetsu as Korean, and Nedrick as Japanese), and coincidentally, also make up the original "Geek Alliance".
* AttentionWhore: Alia, Benson, Chad, Doc, and Tempest all have a similar issue in attempting to be the centers of attention, usually for differing reasons.
* TheAtoner: Ever since getting [[spoiler:hit in the face by his closest friend at the time for being a stubborn {{Jerkass}}]], Brick has made it his personal goal to try and become a better person. He's had...Mixed results throughout the series.
* AudienceSurrogate: Zetsu is the most relatable and normal contestant in the series, currently working under a stressful and underpaying job, always being under a feeling that people don't like him, and having a hard time proving himself as anything other than a basic schmuck. He's also the OnlySaneMan to the rest of the cast's insanity, so that certainly helps..
* AuthorAvatar: Tyson acts as a more hostile version of the co-writer of the series, ''Delta''.
* AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther: Alia and Benson have a tendency to start arguments with one another for minimal to no real reasoning. However, at the end of the day, they still always make it clear just how highly they value the other's [[ShipTease "friendship"]].
* AxCrazy: Tempest ''loves'' fighting and hunting, constantly going out out on adventures in the forest just to take down and presumably destroy anything that gets in her way. While it's never really been confirmed, it's also heavily [[ImpliedTrope Implied]] that she ''does'' indeed kill anything she hunts.
* TheBabyOfTheBunch: Alfred is the youngest of the first generation of contestants, having only turned 18 roughly a few weeks before the show.
* BadassBoast: Tempest will ''at least'' have one of these per episode.
* BadassInDistress: At several points during the series, some of the most badass contestants end up getting put in a situation where they need to be saved by their far weaker teammates/allies.
* BadBoss: During his time as his team's leader, Ace was a tyrannical, cruel man who constantly emotionally abused his team while failing to actually prove himself as useful either.
* BareFistedMonk: Both Brick and Chad prefer simply using their fists instead of any kind of moves.
* BearHug: Chad is prone to giving just about all of his friends an incredibly painful and powerful hug.
* BearsAreBadNews: The Ursaring of '''FMTDI''' are naturally aggressive and incredibly dangerous.
* TheBeastmaster: Quincy, who has such a powerful connection with nature that all of them seem to naturally like him and listen to what he says.
* BeautifulAllAlong: In the end, despite her appearance still being deadly to look at for the non-ghosts, Mimi does reveal what she looks like to Doc(he saw what she looked like far earlier in the series, but it was only for a few moments and he was too surprised to appropriately react). Upon it being revealed though and her constant claims that she's disgusting in appearance, Doc tells her she's one of the most beautiful people he's ever met.
* BetaCouple: [[spoiler:Gareth and Violet, Brooke and Quincy, and Nazira and Nedrick act as the beta couples of the series, due to receiving less screentime and focus overall.]]
* BigBad: ''[[spoiler:Cynthia]]''.
* BigBadEnsemble:
** '''Total Drama Island''' has the likes of [[TheStrategist Ace]], [[ThePrimaDonna Benson]], [[TheBully Brick]], [[FaceHeelTurn Cynthia]], [[ChaoticNeutral Doc]], [[spoiler:Gein]], [[HateSink Kaden]], and [[{{Jerkass}} Sage]] as the main antagonists of the season. Oddly though, [[spoiler:only three of them actually make merge, and one isn't even technically competing]].
* BigBadWannabe: Early on in '''FMTDI''', Ace attempted to establish himself as team leader to the Brainy Baltoy, all while acting terribly and overall being a horrid leader. The way the story acts, it almost seems like he'd be the BigBad of the season. [[spoiler:He wasn't. Didn't even last three episodes in fact.]]
* BigEater: Bari ''loves'' food, and is more than capable of packing away a ''lot'' of it. On some level it makes sense though, since he doesn't really get to eat much at all outside the game, so he's essentially just taking advantage of the situation.
* BigEgoHiddenDepths:
** Brick may be rather arrogant and a total {{Jerkass}} at times, but he holds quite a bit of insecurity secretly, and as shown with his interactions with Bari, he clearly can show a soft side.
** While a NiceGuy, Chad is nonetheless just as boastful as Brick. Unlike him though, he's actually far more aware of his surroundings than he lets on, and is actually pretty knowledgeable on how people feel.
** Tempest may be ''very'' strong and seemingly indestructable, but she's actually incredibly unsure of herself and her abilities, and also thinks very lowly of herself overall.
* BigManOnCampus: Even while on the show, Chad essentially serves this purpose, being one of the most popular and athletic contestants.
* BittersweetEnding: [[spoiler:Zetsu's winner ending. Sure, he may have won, thus meaning him and Tempest can live comfortably, but that also means Nazira can't make amends with the one she wronged, and it's unlikely she ever will be able to at all since Nedrick isn't of much help. Luckily, this ends up being the [[MultipleEndings non-canon ending]].]]
* BoyishShortHair: Kanaya, who has short and neatly combed hair due to her species.
** When accounting for humanized forms, the likes of Isabel and Violet also apply.
* BrattyTeenageDaughter: Alia, who has a terrible relationship with her parents, mostly on account of her immaturity and lack of respect towards authority.
* ChekhovsGun: Upon their visit to Boney Island, Mimi actually finds a tiki of sorts, and gives it to Doc as a present. Earlier on in the episode, they state that these items are supposed to be cursed...Which this wasn't, and seemingly had no effect on the plot. A few episodes later though, and [[spoiler:Zetsu accidentally destroys it. As it turns out, it was actually a ''good'' luck totem(which explains why the second Doc started wearing it, his team went on a major win-streak), and that destroying it actually led to a large amount of unluckiness getting spread to a random innocent bystander, which just so happened to be Nedrick. This actually led to Ned's unfortunate elimination via medivac]].
* ChildhoodFriends: Amber and Logan have known each other since they were in high-school.
* ComicallyInvincibleHero: At least in terms of eliminations, Gareth probably survived the most eliminations out of any contestant without even trying, simply due to someone either saving him via sabotaging another, or someone sacrificing themself so he could stay in the game. The ''only'' reason he [[spoiler:ultimately lost the game was due to quitting]].
* ContrastingSequelAntagonist: Ace, Benson, Brick, Kaden, and Sage all act as antagonists throughout the pre-merge, and are all written as ''very'' morally in the wrong. However, the antagonists of the pre-merge, Cynthia and Doc, are far more morally grey, and less villains and more so just antagonistic to the others' plans.
* DecoyProtagonist: Benson, Brick, Nedrick, and Violet all have quite a bit of screentime throughout the pre-merge, but [[spoiler:never even make it to the merge itself]].
** [[spoiler:Despite being TheProtagonist of the story throughout most of it, Zetsu doesn't win FMTDI. Nazira does.]]
* [[DidNotGetTheGirl Did Not Get The Guy]]: Cynthia never gets together with Chad, her crush for a majority of '''FMTDI'''.
* DiscOneFinalBoss: Ace, Benson, Brick, Kaden, and Sage are all set up in the first chapter to be antagonists. [[spoiler:By the merge, all of them have been eliminated, three of which in the first five chapters, instead being replaced by both [[FaceHeelTurn Cynthia]] and [[ChaoticNeutral Doc]].]]
* [[DoggedNiceGuy Dogged Nice Girl]]: Cynthia's a very polite and kind girl, but in the end she still was turned down by Chad during '''FMTDI''', and ultimately [[spoiler:never even got the chance to be with Nazira]].
* EvilChef: Tyson certainly applies due to his antagonistic role in the plot and less than stellar treatment of the campers, but he isn't ''truly'' evil, and more so just a prick.
* EyeScream: ''Everything'' seems to hit Zetsu in the eye, especially marshmallows! It's so bad that it's practically a RunningGag.
* FandomSpecificPlot: The story as a whole follows a pretty generic story in it's community; AKA a group of teenagers being forced to compete for a grand prize via a gameshow.
* FishPerson: Ace is probably the best example of one, considering he's a water-type that can walk on land with minimal difficulty.
* FoeRomanceSubtext:
** Before they ultimately made amends and became friends again, it was still heavily hinted at that Kanaya had some kind of attraction, if not a crush, on Isabel. While the latter obviously didn't return her feelings due to a belief that Kanaya wasn't as good of a person as she thought, upon those thoughts being brought to an end, she began to finally allow those feelings to be returned back to some degree. [[spoiler:By the time that Isabel is ultimately eliminated, they become a couple, no longer truly making it subtext]].
** Kaden is undeniably hated by just about every person he has ever met within the series, but it's pretty undeniable that he certainly has some kind of real feelings for Gareth. Too bad the latter rightfully despises him for his horrible treatment of all of his friends.
* TheGadfly: Doc will ''gladly'' go out of his own way to get a reaction out of others in any way he can, including making personal insults or saying rather controversial jokes.
* GentleGiant:
** Physically, Quincy is among the tallest and strongest contestants on the show, but he's a pacifist to some degree and refuses to actually cause any harm to those around him. He'll occasionally stand up for himself, but otherwise, he's a pretty unabashed nice guy.
** Well, Chad ''tries'' to be this, but often unknowingly underestimates his strength and accidentally hurts somebody in the process.
* GoldenEnding: [[spoiler:Nazira's winner ending. Not only can she now make amends with the person she wronged, but she and Ned get together, Zetsu can still house Tempest and her father-figure due to Benson helping him out, Kaden gets his just deserts, it's implied Ace and Freya might be happy soon due to a possible relationship, and basically everyone is happy to some degree.]]
* GratuitousGerman: Occasionally, Gareth will speak in his native language, German.
* IconicItem: It's honestly really hard to imagine Chad without his signature purple letterman jacket and sunglasses.
** Similarly, Benson is equally as hard to see without his sunglasses.
* ImpliedLoveInterest: Alia and Benson toward one another.
* TheMedic: The Nurse herself acts as one for any contestants who get injured.
* MultipleEndings: The story has two different endings, each having a different winner.
* {{Narcissist}}: A surprisingly very likable variation, in that both [[LovableJock Chad]] and [[PintsizedPowerhouse Tempest]] have ''very'' notable egos of their own, and yet they're actually pretty well-liked(especially the former).
* NearVillainVictory: Cynthia was the [[BigBad main antagonist]] of '''FMTDI''', and actually got all the way to the final [[spoiler:six]]. However, in the end, she was [[spoiler:ultimately eliminated just before she could make it any further and possibly win]].
* NerdGlasses: Ace sports a pair of these, which suits him considering his rather dorky hobbies and interests.
* {{Ninja}}: Nedrick is determined to become one of the greatest ninjas on the planet. He actually is pretty good at it...But this usually doesn't end well for him.
* NoHuggingNoKissing: Gareth and Violet's relationship is actually largely one that lacks any kind of physical contact. The two love each other a lot, but due to Violet slowly growing more emotionless with time, she believes there is no real reason that they need to actually show it.
** Brooke and Quincy also apply.
* ParentalSubstitute: Amber quickly becomes one for Gareth, despite him already having a mother. [[spoiler:This is mostly due to just how emotionally abusive Gareth's mom actually is.]]
* TheQuincyPunk: Alia acts quite a bit like your typical, over-exaggerated punk, having even being styled off of classic examples from the 90s.
* RankScalesWithAsskicking:
** Cynthia is the heir to her "family business", and along with that, is more than capable of throwing down against some of the strongest characters in the series.
** Isabel is TheLeader of the [[TheSmartGuy Brainy Baltoy]], and along with that, has proven time and time again to be more than just a little bit of a threat against the others in a fight, ''especially'' against the [[GroinAttack male players]].
** Tyson is the head chef of the '''Fuzzy Memories''' series, meaning he technically has the third-most authority of the entire cast. He's also one of the only characters capable of putting up a good fight against ''Tempest''!
* RealMenCook: Tyson is one of the most physically imposing characters in the series, and is also the chef of the series.
* SmartPeopleWearGlasses: Ace is among the most intelligent characters on the show, and he sports a pair of NerdGlasses.
* SuperStrength: Tempest, to entirely ridiculous degrees, seems to be the physically strongest being on the planet.
* SurroundedByIdiots: By the halfway point of FMTDI, Mimi notes that Doc is the only boy left who isn't either an idiot, or ends up doing idiotic things accidentally. This is made only more clear by the final five, where his fellow two males left are an idiot going through serious psychological issues, and his best friend, who is also a complete cowardly pushover around his girlfriend.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood:
** Chef Tyson absolutely ''loves'' waffles, to a point where they're the only item included with every potential meal.
** All of the ghosts share a similar liking towards foods with pumpkin flavoring, with it being the only thing they'll all selfishly horde for themselves.
** Gareth and Juvia enjoy drinking milkshakes together, usually chocolate ones. In fact, it's how they were able to get Violet to bond with them.
* WeHardlyKnewYe: Plenty of characters didn't get much screentime in '''FMTDI''' before ultimately being voted off.
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse:
** Largely any minor character who only makes an appearance for one episode is never truly given a real conclusion to whatever they were doing, most likely due to the insignificance of the character. However, considering a lot of them actually end up knocked out by the end of their scenes and they're never shown being escorted to the medical bay, one can't help but wonder what exactly happened to them.
** The Nurse only appears in a few episodes overall, but oddly, after ''"Hide and Be Sneaky"'', she is outright just never seen again.
* WildCard: Whether or not Tempest actually participates in a challenge at all depends solely on whether she's interested in it or not. If she isn't, she'll be TheLoad. If she ''is'', she's TheAce.
* WillTheyOrWontThey: For '''FMTDI''', it was Nazira and Nedrick, who constantly flirted with each other, but the latter showcased little to no real feelings towards him.
