It takes place after the events of Season 1 for Supergirl and after Season 2 of the Flash, though because the ending for the Flash had not come out at the time of the fanfic's writing, the author instead presumed what was going to happen: namely Zoom getting defeated.

3	[[Franchise/TheFlash Barry Allen]] is unable to keep his mind off of Kara Danvers aka Comicbook/{{Supergirl}}, the alien he had met when he had crossed over to another Earth, and when Cisco is trying to tell what is wrong he comes into contact with him, vibing that Kara is in mortal danger and in threat of dying. She has, in fact, been shot with kryptonite bullets by DEO agents under command of the President. Barry immediately breaches to her world and brings her back to his Earth to receive treatment.

27	** Unfortunately, Doomsday also has this ability, and its immortality is one of reasons Barry trains to master the [[spoiler: Infinite Mass Punch]], as nothing else would be able to kill it.
28	* HeroicBuild: As a result of their powers, Kara and Barry are always in tip-top shape. However when Kara [[spoiler: gives birth to Lexie]], she purposely keeps her powers deactivated so that she can enjoy her time just being a normal [[spoiler: mother]]. Barry also learns to use his powers to look more muscular so that he can scare creepy guys away from Kara.
29	* HeterosexualLifePartners: Oliver and Barry; Kara, Sara, and Caitlin.
30	* InterspeciesRomance: Even though Kara is able to receive blood transfusions from, look like, and actually [[spoiler:manage to have a kid with one]], she's still not human.

32	* MistakenForCheating: Kara and Barry's first fight occurs when she walks in on him and Iris hugging after sharing lunch. Of course, she was already upset, given that that day was [[spoiler:the anniversary of her planet exploding.]]

34	* PowerFist: Barry's most powerful technique, enough to split planets and [[spoiler:even kill Doomsday]]- the Infinite Mass Punch.
