''Lillie's Z-Powered Adventure!'' is a VideoGame/PokemonSunAndMoon quest running on Website/SpaceBattlesDotCom and Sufficent Velocity by Arkanian that follows supporting protagonist Lillie as she begins her adventure in Kanto. Having vowed to meet up with Moon at the Unova World Tournament, Lillie must complete her journey as a trainer and take the spot as the Indigo Champion in order to be guaranteed a spot and keep her promise. That mean she must do as the champions before her and gather 8 badges before taking on the Elite Four.

However, things have changed since the time of Red's adventure. Kanto is suffering from what looks to be an economic crisis, a criminal organization known as Team Z have orchestrated terrorist attacks against several locations, and through unforseen circumstances, Lillie has also become a target of interest for them as well.

----
!! This quest provides examples of:

* AbsurdlySharpBlade:
** Okala, being a Kartana and all, is one.
** Red, being a Pawnard, as well.
* AffectionateNickname: Most of the owned Pokemon in the fic have one.
* AllIssuesArePoliticalIssues: Lillie's inquiry into why a Pokemon Center is charging her to stay the night has different view points, with all of it boiling down to politic issues with Johto, Lance, or the modernization of the Routes.
** Karen cites she left the Elite Four for this reason.
* AlwaysAccurateAttack: The "Lock-On" technique of Bill's Porygon 2.
* AmusementPark: Miri's Gym shares the grounds with the local amusement park in Cerulean City.
* ArchEnemy: Bill's Alakazam considers Lusamine's Clefable this.
* AssimilationBackfire: Lusamine's merging with Nihilego into Mother Beast resulted in it nearly merging with her nervous system and resulted in spinal damage, not helped when separated by Nebby forcibly. She'll have trouble walking for the rest of her life, but [[https://forums.spacebattles.com/posts/30415405/ Word Of God]] is that it could have been a lot worse if the merger lasted longer.
* AsskickingLeadsToLeadership: The Champion of the League holds the final say on most things in regards to Kanto and Johto, or at least has to sign-off on things. While there are some checks in place with the Elite Four and Gym Leaders, they still hold a lot of power.
* BalanceOfPower: Between the Elite Four, Gym Leaders, and the Champion. The Champion is the highest authority and does hold certain absolute rights, like the appointment of Gym Leaders. To prevent the Champion from getting power over all of the Gym Leaders, there are restrictions on dismissing one, and an agreement between eight Gym Leaders can result in the Champion being removed. If that fails, they can simply hire a better trainer to defeat the Champion and take their rank.
** The Elite Four also hold a sizable amount of power themselves and are often the ones doing the government work, including the current modernization project.
* BerserkButton:
** Miri's is the insinuation that she's an easy Gym Leader to beat.
** Star's appears to be one that insinuates that she is a "Fake".
* BewareOfViciousDog: Hanohano, the Houndour that Lillie catches, is fairly aggressive, going so far as blowing Smog (read: poison gas) into Slowpoke's nose just for it to take.
* BigDamnHeroes: When being attacked by Team Z Grunts on her way out, Lillie calls for help and a Mystery Girl (Mandy) shows up to help her and change the tide of the battle.
* BreakTheHaughty: When Star challenges Lillie (almost to the extent of bullying) and is outright rude towards Miri, the Gym Leader decides to humble her in a battle.
* CheerfulChild: The Lapras in Lillie's care is rather young, but she's very cheerful.
* ClosestThingWeGot: Miri became a Gym Leader not because of her battling skills, but because she was a national celebrity and Lance really needed someone to fill in the position when Misty quit and she was the closest viable candidate they had that wouldn't stir up a commotion.
* DelayedReaction: Kumu is slow to act outside of a fight.
* DyingTown: Fuchsia City. Between the cycling road being torn down so that bigger ships could get to Vermillion, the Zoo being torn down, and the Safari Zone being closed, it's lost a lot of the attractions that drew in tourist and you can't get anywhere from it easily without a long trip.
** Taking this into account, Lillie suggest to Gladion using the Safari Zone to run an operation similar to the Pokepeleago. It would boost the economy and they'd have Janine's ninja to defend it against poachers and Team Z.
* FoodAsBribe:
** How Lillie convinced her mother's Bewear, Boozle, to help her.
** She later convinces an Igglybuff into leading her to a secret door in Mount Moon this way.
* FriendToAllLivingThings: Miri, as far as the Pokemon of Mount Moon are concerned.
* GentleGiant: Lapras. One of them pulled Lillie out of the water and allowed her to ride on her back before agreeing to come along with her.
* HallOfMirrors: Miri's Gym is set up as one.
* {{Imprinting}}: Okala imprinted on either Lusamine or Lillie as its parent since it hatched in their dimension and the two are both Fallers. Lusamine's reaction to it was... less than welcoming.
* MeaningfulName:
** Okala is Hawaiian for "Sharpening".
** Kumu is Hawaiian for "Sage".
** Hanohano is Hawaiian for "dignity" or "honor", though she notes its ironic in this case.
** Maluhia is Hawaiian for "Serenity".
* MustHaveCaffeine: Daphnis is obsessed with coffee.
* NonPoweredCostumedHero: The Mystery Girl who gave Lillie her Silk Scarf and is a fan of a hero called Masked Raider, plays the role of one, even with a BigDamnHeroes moment.
* NotAMorningPerson: Kumu, being a Slowpoke and all.
* PaperPeople: The Kartana species.
* PerpetualSmiler: Kumu.
* PintSizedPowerhouse: Okala, who when first introduced had [[KillStreak defeated]] enough wild Pokemon to have a [[BattleAura Beast Boost]] aura several feet wide.
* PowerupLetdown: Star evolved her Growlithe into an Arcanine relatively quickly from what Miri could perceive, which inhibited it from learning most of its techniques outside of TM's and Tutors. Lillie also thinks to herself that Moon's Arcanine is stronger from her time in Alola.
* RidiculouslyCuteCritter: Okala, partly due to its timid nature.
** The Igglybuff that Lillie encounters in Mount Moon.
* TheRival: Star has set herself up to be Lillie's.
* SavageWolves: Karen points out how this is a common misconception about Houndour.
--> '''Karen:''' "Most people make assumptions from their typing and appearance, or maybe from rumors about their flames. They think they'll be vicious loners, who you can send into battle on their own and expect to defeat opponents in a single strike with precise attacks. That the best way to train one is to keep it separate from the rest of your Pokemon to prevent fights, and minimize its contact with others in general. But really, the opposite is true. Houndour thrive on socialization and teamwork. They may not be able to support other Pokemon directly, but they're at their best in a support role regardless.
* ScarfOfAsskicking: Red,the Pawniard, has one.
* SingleStrokeBattle: Red, the Pawniard, and Okala does this to Holliday and Oscar's Ariados and Magnemite in their battle.
* StockNessMonster: Lillie's Lapras.
* SummoningRitual: The Clefable's ritual ends up as this, [[spoiler:when they call out a Lunala from the lake.]]
* {{Teleportation}}: Aside from psychic powers, there are some devices capable of doing this like an "Escape Rope", which is a single-use device you charge at the entrance of select places and hold down on for 20 seconds to trigger it to teleport you to the entrance of the location.
* TeleportationMisfire: Kaz does this a few times since, without a beacon, he can't accurately teleport to a location.
* {{Troll}}: Lusamine's Clefable. She enjoys annoying Lillie and Bill's Alakazam.
