What happens when you get a scifi-action cartoon starring {{Kaiju}} from various media with their SerialNumbersFiledOff?

'''G.U.T.S.''' (pronounced as "guts") is set in futuristic space era. There, the [[TheAlliance Galactic Alliance]], a very large organization formed by various alien races from different planets, exists to promote diplomacy among the sectors it covers as well as providing technological and military services to its members, with the main headquarters being a very large SpaceStation. From agents to researchers, the Galactic Alliance makes sure turmoil is minimized and prevented within the areas it governs while at the same time allow membership of races who are willing to abide by their rules of diplomacy.

The story follows G.U.T.S. [[FunWithAcronyms (Galactic United Tactical Squad)]], a [[TheTeam group of spec-ops agents]] formed by the Galactic Alliance. The team is made to handle missions that a single agent would have a hard time doing alone, yet an army would lack the finesse and subtlety to handle them. They go from mission to mission, having dangerous adventures and team-building, and even uncovering dark secrets.

The first season is mostly focused on building the world and origin, introducing important characters and planets. Eventually, this will lead to the discovery of [[AlienInvasion the Silicons]], a race of [[MechanicalLifeforms robot aliens]] that are scheming on getting rid of the Galactic Alliance so that they could take over the planets they reside and drain their resources.

The second season faces the [[TheOmniscientCouncilOfVagueness Grid Triumvirate]], a cryptic organization lead by three hooded figures who are trying to take advantage of the chaos caused by the Silicon invasion. Their plans involve convincing other aliens to join them instead as the Galactic Alliance, all while hiring questionable mercenaries and even plotting to unlock a CosmicHorror.

The final season focuses on recovering from the previous battle, only for the Galactic Alliance to face an immediate threat from an escaped terrorist who plans on removing the Galactic Alliance and instead replacing them with his organization united under his fist.

!!This cartoon provides examples of:

* TheAlliance: The Galactic Alliance is an organization of cooperated alien races from various planets.
* AllPlanetsAreEarthlike: The main philosophy is that generally, most developed races would live in a hospitable environment.
* TheAlternet: It is called the Galaxy-net and it is a galaxy-wide version of the internet.
* AppliedPhlebotinum: The G-Particles, a naturally-occurring (yet easy to replicate) "form of energy".
* AsteroidThicket: Outer Asteroid Belt.
* BeastMan: Most of the aliens featured are anthropomorphic ''kaiju''.
* BigCreepyCrawlies: The ''mothama'' alien race are humanoid moth people with large bug eyes and antennae.
** RidiculouslyCuteCritter: With that said, their larval stage are caterpillars with wide PuppyDogEyes.
* CasualInterstellarTravel: Space commuting exists here. It is implied that as long as your destination is within the Galactic Alliance jurisdiction, you can get there through public transportation.
* CoolStarship: G.U.T.S. has Phalanx and Phalanx II. R.I.O.T. has Raptor.
* FantasticCasteSystem: The ''mothama'' society in planet Motham has this. It is dictated by the psychic prowess of a ''mothama''.
** The highest "position" in the caste are the high priests called the ''Maestro''. Then followed by the priests (which they themselves have their own rankings). Then followed by scholars and merchants. Then followed by warriors. Then finally by workers (farmers and the like). While the position of the caste is given through birth, if one could not display the appropriate psychic prowess, they would fall in the caste along with their future offspring. Very rarely however, one goes up in the caste due to displaying formidable psychic prowess.
** Marvel hates the idea of leading a life like that hence why she ran off. Leon took it upon himself to help the lower caste. [[spoiler:Maestro Baugn thinks the caste system is terrible and outdated, and wants to get rid it for the sake of the caterpillars, not wanting them to experience predetermined lives]].
* FunWithAcronyms:
** G.U.T.S. - '''Galactic United Tactical Squad'''
** R.I.O.T. - '''Renegade Interstellar Operatives Team'''
* {{Heavyworlder}}: G-Star apparently has a bit more "demanding" gravity that Marvel and Andy's power suits automatically adjusted to it. It explains why the characters hailing from the planet (Jiro, Junior, Beah, and Gimel) are physically great.
** Greez apparently resides in a city in G-Star, but he doesn't wear a power suit while staying in his house. It is never clear if his species are native to the planet or if he grew up in the planet and got used to the gravity.
* LetterMotif: The letter G is used a lot in character names and even terminology (like G-Particles, apparently shortened for Galactic). Jiro's first name sounds like the letter even. [[Franchise/{{Godzilla}} Three guesses why]].
* LizardFolk: A huge amount of the alien races present in the show are various reptiles. This is most likely due to them being [[{{Expy}} expies]] of various {{Kaiju}}, which are mostly based on reptiles. To wit:
** The ''diosaurians'' are large lizards with frills on their backs.
** The ''ankyllans'' are reptiles with a hard back armor containing retractable claws which allows them to roll to a ball.
** The ''tortugans'' are large turtles.
** Gyro's alien race is reptilian with wings between their arms and back.
** Greez's alien race is something resembling that of a chameleon.
* MechanicalLifeforms: The ''silvermen'' alien race are living robot people who can change size at will.
** Then there is the Slicons, [[spoiler:or so it would seem - they are actually AI housed in a robotic body]].
* MissingMom: Marvel and Leon's mom are never shown.
** It is then revealed that [[spoiler:she had passed away a few weeks after giving birth to Leon. She was a warrior caste who their father, coming from the priest caste, fell in love with. When a sea creature attacked their village, she got severely injured]].
* MulticulturalAlienPlanet: While this rarely appears (primarily because they rarely visit developed planets), it is quite visible from time to time. Most notable is G-Star. Not only do you have diosaurians exhibit different traits, the planet itself is inhabited by other races.
* PoweredArmor: G.U.T.S. are provided with armor called power suits that provide them protection and acts as space suit. They also are personalized, providing some additional utility (Jiro's suit has a G-Particle cannon on the chest of his suit, Marvel's suit allows her to have more air control when flying, Andy's suit allows him to project an energy shell around him to support his rolling ability, and Junior's suit allows him to cling onto walls and ceilings).
** Gimel and then eventually R.I.O.T. also wear power suits that function like that of G.U.T.S., but they lack personal utility. Greez however [[WalkingShirtlessScene doesn't cover much of his body]].
* PunnyName: The name of Jiro's species is called ''diosaurian''. It may seemed like ''dinosaurian'' without the "n", but then it has words ''dio'' (god) and ''saur'' (lizard). [[Franchise/{{Godzilla}} Three guesses as to where those words lead to]].
* SharedFamilyQuirks: Jiro and Junior [[spoiler:[=and K1R-Unit=]]] scratch the back of their neck and curl their tail when embarrassed like their father. They also inherited their mother's tendency to groan/growl when sighing.
* SpaceStation: The Galactic Alliance space station. It has no proper name, and is referred always as such.
* TranslatorMicrobes / TranslationConvention: Members of the Galactic Alliance have their native language (language only speakers of the native planet could understand) and the "communal" language (a universal language the members of the Galactic Alliance speak towards other members not belonging to their planet) which is translated for the viewers.
** The communal language is even used by people not belonging in the Galactic Alliance (like free lance mercenaries) apparently because it's easier to communicate with their employers and customers.
** Aside from that, there is the translator device which lets people who couldn't learn the communal language communicate with others. Like the communal language, it is automatically translated for the viewers.
