3	Saban Brands, LLC (also trading as SCG Characters, LLC and SCG Power Rangers, LLC) was a UsefulNotes/LosAngeles-based subsidiary of the Saban Capital Group.

5	The second SpiritualSuccessor to Creator/SabanEntertainment (after Sensation Animation), Saban Brands was founded in 2010. Its first move was to acquire the ''Franchise/PowerRangers'' franchise (and related shows) from Creator/{{Disney}}. It had acquired numerous other properties since then. Most of Saban Brands's assets were properties its predecessor held in TheNineties, such as live-action superhero series and the ''Franchise/{{Digimon}}'' anime. They would also acquire assets from the former [[Creator/FourKidsEntertainment 4Kids Entertainment]], including their SaturdayMorningCartoon block on Creator/TheCW, which they would relaunch as Creator/{{Vortexx}}.

7	On May 1, 2018, Creator/{{Hasbro}}, recently named the master toy licensee of the ''Power Rangers'' franchise, agreed to acquire it and most of Saban's other entertainment franchises, for $522 million. Saban Brands was fully shuttered on July 2, 2018. Saban Brands was active for 8 years, which when added to the 22-year tenure of Saban Entertainment, makes for a combined [[EndOfAnEra 30 years in the children's entertainment business]].
