Lewis Jeffrey Lovhaug (born August 19, 1987) is an internet reviewer from Minnesota, best known as Linkara, the host of ''WebVideo/AtopTheFourthWall'', as well as the host of ''WebVideo/HistoryOfPowerRangers'', an overview of the ''Franchise/PowerRangers'' franchise.

He is married to Viga Gadson of both ''Viga Loves Comics'' and ''WebVideo/IdolsOfAnime'' fame.

Among the stuff he's produced:
[[index]]
* ''Literature/AngelArmor'': Novel series written from when he was a teenager.
* ''WebVideo/AtopTheFourthWall'': Lovhaug's main series, where he (mostly) looks at bad comic books using the persona of "Linkara."
** ''WebVideo/AtopTheFourthWallTheMovie'' The feature film based on the show.
* ''WebVideo/HistoryOfPowerRangers'': A lookback at the whole of ''Franchise/PowerRangers''.
* ''WebVideo/LongboxOfTheDamned'': An annual series started in 2012, where he takes a look at horror comics as the undead ghoul Moarte.
* ''Webcomic/{{Lightbringer}}'': A webcomic he did briefly before becoming an internet reviewer. [[OldShame It has since been discontinued and Lovhaug is not proud of it.]]
* ''Revolution of the Mask'': Lovhaug's other webcomic, and which he's much more proud of.
* ''AudioPlay/AVoiceFromTheDark'': An AudioPlay in the vein of the Channel Awesome crossover specials, even featuring a lot of ex-Channel Awesome talent.
* ''Late Night Double Feature'': A series started in late-2020 in which he briefly reviews two different horror movies which share a similar theme, often comparing the two.
* ''WebVideo/WinterOf83'': An AnalogHorror series released on April 1, 2022, which explores a mysterious mass disappearance in the town of Fawn's Circle, Minnesota.

!!Tropes that apply to Lewis Lovhaug:
* ActuallyPrettyFunny: While he didn't care for ''WebVideo/PowerRangersBootlegUniverse'', he admitted to laughing his ass off at the Hip-Hopkaido scene.
* AlterEgoActing: [[invoked]] Lovhaug has occasionally referred to "the Linkara character" in interviews and commentaries, but at the same time also calls him, "[[AuthorAvatar basically me]] [[NoIndoorVoice with the volume turned way up]]".
* AprilFoolsDay: Lewis has cited a penchant for not simply making gag videos for the occasion, but rather parodying some other type of work. This can be from parodying another creator, to emulating other genres altogether. This can produce some truly unexpected-for-the-occasion entries, such as 2022's ''WebVideo/WinterOf83'', a not-at-all-comedic AnalogHorror series that certainly caught many off guard.
* CantUnHearIt: [[invoked]] Due to the character having yet to be adapted into a mainstream medium that would give him a voice[[note]]he did appear in the tie-in motion comic for ''ComicBook/DarkNightsDeathMetal'' and the audiobook version of ''ComicBook/InfiniteCrisis''[='=] novelization[[/note]] the whiny, [[{{Wangst}} wangsty]] voice he uses for ComicBook/SuperboyPrime has become this for the character. Lovhaug himself stated he was unsure of how he felt about this status [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mP3iY5bJ8ck&t=327s when asked and informed about it]] during one of his ''VideoGame/Hitman2016'' livestreams ''precisely'' due to its nature as a mocking parody.
* CreatorBacklash:
** A variant - Lovhaug has stated that in retrospect he wasn't happy with how the Walker Brothers characterized Linkara in the Channel Awesome anniversary specials, feeling that he was written to be too much of a {{Jerkass}} and basically became "WebVideo/TheNostalgiaCritic [[RecycledInSpace but with comic books]]."
** On a lighter note, Lovhaug has also expressed '''great''' regret over not having been able to voice Superman in the "Superman vs. Goku" episode of ''Death Battle''.
** He's embarrassed by the self-published novels he wrote in high school, Epic Fantasy novels with a Gary Stu stand-in who adopts the messianic name "Linkara". Whenever they're brought up, he ends up asking that people don't track down the first two and only look for the third, which he is the least embarrassed by.
* GoshDangItToHeck: Downplayed; Lovhaug will use words like "hell", "damn", "bitch", and "ass", but pointedly avoids words like "fuck", "shit", and certain other heavy curse words. In instances where he has to read dialogue that use those words, he bleeps himself. Lovhaug has said that he does this primarily since he feels that the reviews are generally better off without the swearing anyway and it also makes them come across as (somewhat) more professional by consequence.
* KindheartedCatLover: He values kindness, compassion, decency, and his and Viga's cats Starfire and Chieri.
* MinnesotaNice: He is from Minnesota and often displays a kinder demeanor than his colleagues.
* OldShame:
** He admitted during Magfest 9 that the early chapters of Webcomic/{{Lightbringer}} were written when he was "young and opinionated", saying he'd even given up on editing them.
** When he was 13, he wrote a SelfInsertFic crossing over ''Anime/PokemonTheSeries'', ''Anime/DigimonAdventure'', and ''Anime/SailorMoon'', copying a story from a ''AudioPlay/BigFinishDoctorWho'' audio drama. He actually brought that up to Bennett and had him make fun of it.
** There are his [[http://www.lulu.com/product/paperback/angel-armor-yesterday/3637596 self-published novels]], which, while not nearly as bad as above examples, still show that Linkara has come far as a writer since he wrote them (on the bright side, they contain what may well be the origin of his nickname).
* RealLifeWritesThePlot: [[invoked]]After he moved into an apartment with WebVideo/IronLiz, so did Linkara. Likewise, after he and Gadson moved into a house, the apartment was written out, using realistic outcomes as the reason InUniverse (namely, Linkara's rent getting hiked up after the neighboring tenants complained about the battles). The second move Lewis and Viga did was also written in (InUniverse, the result of Linkara testing out a security measure resulting in blowing up the old house -- and damaging Linkara's reputation so much that the new house is in Viga's name).
* TemptingFate: Preparing for his review of ''ComicBook/SecretEmpire'', Lewis posted on Website/{{Twitter}} a question about [[https://twitter.com/Linkara19/status/1283357418764804098 a man in a weird helmet]] -- [[https://twitter.com/Linkara19/status/1283362111629000705 only to be utterly surprised to learn it was]] UsefulNotes/IsaacNewton.
* UltimateShowdownOfUltimateDestiny: He's said he has no interest in this, even back when he was a kid. That said, Website/ScrewAttack [[https://youtu.be/QGPPpAcaL4k?t=348 did once contact him]] to voice Franchise/{{Superman}} in the Superman vs. [[Franchise/DragonBall Goku]] episode of ''WebAnimation/DeathBattle'', but he couldn't as he was busy at the moment [[WhatCouldHaveBeen and has since expressed regret that he didn't make time to do it]].
