Hiroshi Matsuyama is the CEO of ''Creator/CyberConnect2''. He and his company specialize in anime licensed games, Particularly the ''Franchise/{{Naruto}}'' franchise (and more recently, ''Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventure'') though more often then not, they tend to be on the [[SugarWiki/NoProblemWithLicensedGames better side of the spectrum]] then most others, and has occasionally produced and directed original properties (Most notably the ''Franchise/DotHack'' Conglomerate and ''VideoGame/AsurasWrath''). His style of game developing is noted for being highly cinematic, yet interactive, especially as he and his company started making not only games for the Seventh Generation of consoles, but also expanding to movie development with the creation of the Sub-studio Sensible Art Innovation, with [=LieN=] (Chikayo Fukuda) to compose the music for all of his games.

Games and other entertainment he admires:

* Anime and manga in general, to the point of having at least '''50000''' volumes of each as inspiration for the games he creates. In fact, his love for ''Manga/{{Naruto}}'' and ''Manga/JojosBizarreAdventure'' is the main reason he makes the games based on them in the first place.
* Creator/PlatinumGames are a major influence on his style, and has shown immense love for their work, even during the Creator/{{Capcom}} days.
* Creator/KatsuhiroHarada and Creator/YoshinoriOno are also people he admires as well. They even drink in bars together.
* Creator/Suda51, to the point of being Facebook pals with each other.
* Creator/HideoKojima and all his projects.
...and many, many more

!Tropes that he utilizes in his projects, as well as what tropes he expresses himself, include:
* {{Cosplay}}: He often cosplays at conventions he goes to, especially Naruto.
* PromotedFanboy: Considers himself this for the ''Franchise/{{Naruto}}'' and ''Manga/JojosBizarreAdventure'' franchises.
