3Emilio Estévez (born May 12, 1962) is an American actor, screenwriter, and director of Spanish descent. He rose to fame in the 1980s as a member of the Creator/BratPack, starring in ''Film/TheBreakfastClub'' and ''Film/StElmosFire'' among others. He's also known for his roles in films like ''Film/TheMightyDucks'' and ''Film/YoungGuns''. Since the 2000s, he has largely stopped acting. On the directing side, he has worked on shows like ''Series/{{CSINY}}'', ''Series/Numb3rs'', ''Series/CloseToHome2005'', ''Series/ColdCase'', and ''Series/CriminalMinds''.

5A member of the Estevez acting family, he is the son of Creator/MartinSheen and the brother of Creator/CharlieSheen, both of whom he has worked with. He was briefly engaged to fellow Brat Pack member Creator/DemiMoore and was married to Music/PaulaAbdul.
