1Established in 1973 as One Production (before changing its name to Dai Won Animation in 1977), [[http://daewonmedia.com/eng/ Dai Won]] (or Daewon, as they're currently referred to) is a UsefulNotes/{{South Korea}}n animation studio that was used fairly often by Creator/ToeiAnimation during the late 1970s and throughout the 1980s. In 1988, due to rising labor costs in South Korea and the fact that the company became a prime contractor for TV animation, their relationship with Toei was cut off. Subsequently, Toei formed a partnership with EEI and began outsourcing work to the Philippines.

3They have also published several {{Manga}} & {{Manhwa}} like ''Manga/AngelSanctuary'' and ''[[Anime/RagnarokTheAnimation Ragnarok]]''.
4
5See also Creator/SeiYoung, another studio that was often used by Toei.
