2Daedalic Entertainment is a German video game publisher and former developer based in Hamburg, best known for making PointAndClick AdventureGames. The company was founded in 2007 by Carsten Fichtelmann, who previously worked at DTP Entertainment for six years. Following the success of ''VideoGame/TheWhisperedWorld'' and ''VideoGame/ANewBeginning'', Daedalic would go on to develop ''VideoGame/{{Deponia}}'', resulting in critical acclaim and further popularity.

4In April 2022, Daedalic was acquired by French video game publisher Nacon.

6In June 2023, they announced that they would cease development and focus solely on publishing after the critical and commercial failure of ''VideoGame/TheLordOfTheRingsGollum''.
