79	* SuperheroParadox: In this world, seemingly, heroes hurt, kill, and maim innocent people as collateral damage all the time during their battles and don't care that much, sparking Frank's quest and granting him his sponsors. Frank does kill plenty of supervillains too, but this is still a world where cosmic threats exist, so the other half of the paradox, what exactly the alternative is if supervillains ''do'' show up with no heroes to respond to them, goes unaddressed.
80	* TalkToTheFist: Or rather, talk to the bomb. The Punisher's attempt at killing Doctor Doom goes horribly wrong, and he's left at the villain's mercy. However, he takes advantage of Doom's EvilGloating to take out a magnetic mine and stick it to his metal mask, knocking him out. After killing him, Frank admits that he would surely have died if Doom hadn't wasted time with that speech. With Captain America, a similar situation happens, only that it's "talk to the [[BoomHeadshot point-blank handgun]]".
81	* TwilightOfTheSupers: Well, the comic definitely does what it advertises… Frank also makes clear to his benefactors that he is drawing the line at killing all of the supers that exist right now, and the future generation ([[WouldHurtAChild in every way that term stands]]) is off limits.
82	* UngratefulBastard: Colossus saves Frank from being killed by Wolverine, who only attacked him because he'd murdered some of the assembled heroes in the first place. Frank is still convinced superhumans are bad, and later nukes Colossus along with the rest of the X-Men.
83	* VillainProtagonist: Since he is killing super''heroes'' as well, Punisher is this. He even admits multiple times that what he's doing isn't really worthwhile or right... [[DetrimentalDetermination but keeps going anyway rather than give up]].
84	* VillainousValor: Setting aside Frank himself, who is brave in the face of even terrible danger and challenges he overcomes with pure luck, some of the evil characters he takes out, like Kingpin and Doctor Doom, go down swinging. Kingpin even shrugs off a MoeGreeneSpecial while screaming "THAT WON'T SAVE YOU DEAD MAN!" and charging at him.
