TheHost of Cartoon Network's (now [adult swim]'s) action animation block, Toonami. He takes care of the Absolution and the Vindication and keeps it properly running, and is in charge of broadcasting action animation to our little blue planet. Starting out as a pudgy little Bomberman-esque robot, he eventually evolved through several different models (seven, to be exact) to become more human and battle-hardened.
----
* ActionHero: Shown in ''WesternAnimation/TrappedInHyperspace''. The GPSS Absolution is going to crash into Earth after it's infected by a sentient virus (Swayzak) who hates everyone onboard's guts. What does TOM do? He has the brilliant idea to hook up to the systems and gets a virtual ship and shoots the crap out of the virus.
* BodyBackupDrive: After TOM 1 got killed by the Intruder, his memories were downloaded into TOM 2, and he has since gone through four more bodies (Four if you count TOM 3.5). However, it's apparent that TOM 4 and TOM 3.5/TOM 5 are separate individuals now, as TOM 4 was seen conversing with the current host over a video chat. [[spoiler:In The Forge,TOM 3.5/TOM 5 becomes TOM 6.0.]]
* BrokeTheRatingScale: There are instances in his video game reviews where he gets stumped on what rating to give, and instead settles on a ?/10 (memorable examples include his reviews of ''Dropship: United Peace Force'' and ''Slender'').
* TheBusCameBack: TOM 4 briefly returns in the revival, talking to TOM 3.5.
* BusCrash: [[spoiler:WesternAnimation/TheIntruder added TOM 4 to his body count before ''WesternAnimation/TheIntruderII''.]]
* CausticCritic: Averted with his video game reviews. He's willing to point out any flaws present, but his reviews are usually positive. The lowest score he's ever given to a game was a 6/10.
* DarkerAndEdgier: Now that Toonami is on [adult swim], TOM is able to curse and make much more mature jokes that wouldn't fly past Cartoon Network's censors.
* DeadpanSnarker: And oh, can he snark with the best of them, if his video game reviews, various Toonami bumpers, and interactions with Sara are any indication. The [=TIEs=] (except Trapped in Hyperspace, Lockdown, and IGPX)? Hell yeah. There is a LOT of Banter.
* DeathIsCheap: Three times: in The Intruder, Endgame, and The Forge. He gets the BodyBackupDrive treatment in all three.
* {{Expy}}: Appearance wise, TOM 4 slightly resembles [[Franchise/{{Transformers}} Wreck-Gar]] in everything but the face.
** As noted above, TOM 1's design bares a small resemblance to VideoGame/{{Bomberman}}. [[spoiler:TOM 6’s visor resembles Doomguy from VideoGame/{{Doom}}.]]
* TheFaceless: TOM's "face" is simply a visor without a mouth. The redesign into TOM 4 averted this due to Cartoon Network [[ExecutiveMeddling wanting to appeal more to children]], though it unfortunately didn't work out as planned with Toonami's older fans.
* FunWithAcronyms: His name, T.O.M., is an acronym for "Toonami Operations Module".
* GuestFighter: He serves as an unlockable gadget via a cheat code in ''VideoGame/Sly2BandOfThieves''.
* GuileHero: While he lets SARA do most of the heavy lifting in terms of grander strategy, TOM does his best thinking (Some would say most of his thinking) in the heat of the moment, and ultimately his quick wit allows him to accomplish his goal, consequences be damned.
* {{Handguns}}: Wielded one during his TOM 1 years. Unfortunately, it didn't help much against a certain red blob monster...It is much more useful against "Bugger"'s buddy.
* HeroicBuild: As he got updated, his body became more muscular, until he was set back to a more lean appearance with TOM 5, before going back to this with TOM 6.
* TheHost: Oh, but of course. Who'd you think he was, the custodian?
* ImprobableWeaponUser: You're qualified as this when you've managed to beat a space pirate... with a ''fork''.
* LighterAndSofter: As stated above, TOM 4's design was such because Cartoon Network was attempting to appeal more to younger audiences.
* MachineMonotone: When Creator/KidsWB had their own version of Toonami, they included their own version of TOM (based on the TOM 2 model being used at the time)... who oddly spoke like a traditional robot.
* MysteriousPast: He doesn't put much importance on what he is or where he's from. As far as he's concerned, all that matters is he's cool. [[spoiler:This gets explored more in ''The Forge'', however. As it turns out, [=TOM=] units are made as servants to a species seeking to retake the galaxy using mass-produced robots.]]
* NiceGuy: He’s usually a friendly robot who plays video games and broadcasts anime to the masses.
* KilledOffscreen: [[spoiler:The Intruder killed TOM 4 in-between the character's brief reappearance and ''WesternAnimation/TheIntruderII'']].
* PutOnABus: TOM 4, when Toonami came back. He was HEARD, however, not seen. Well... he was briefly seen on the Absolution 2.5 screens, with words [[spoiler:TOM 4 TRANSMITTING]] on it.
* RealMenWearPink: His reaction to having to broadcast ''Anime/{{Hamtaro}}'' (which can be blamed on [[ExecutiveMeddling the higher ups]])? Minor confusion and LampshadeHanging at first, but he ultimately didn't seem to mind. After all, "they are kinda cute".
* RobotBuddy: A robotic module broadcasting anime to all the kids of Earth. TOM will always be ours. "We are the TOM. Resistance is futile."
* TookALevelInBadass:
** As TOM 2, he saved the Absolution from crashing into the Earth and rescued Sara from Swayzak. TOM 3, he rescued Sara yet again and kicked a space pirate's ass with a fork.
** He took another one, albeit a rather small one, when Toonami was revived on [adult swim] and he was brought back as TOM 3.5, thanks to not being held back by Cartoon Network's censorship standards and being able to finally ''curse''.
** As TOM 5, he killed the Intruder... but destroyed the Absolution.
** The 3 Absolutions were all IN SPACE. The second one was built FROM SCRATCH. The Vindication however... TOM managed to get it into space.
--->''TOM:''' OK, firing up reactors, full burn.
** He ''even'' managed to get his "brothers" onto the Vindication in the middle of a alien ambush, [[spoiler:though he unfortunately was killed in the process...before getting rebuilt ''again''.]]
* TotallyRadical: In his third incarnation.
-->'''TOM:''' ''(in his review of'' ''[[VideoGame/DotHackR1Games .hack//Infection]]'''')'' Ride 'em, cowboy.\
'''TOM:''' ''(in his review of the'' ''Anime/IGPXImmortalGrandPrix'' ''video game)'' Drop it like it's hot.
* {{Troll}}: He has his moments, such as [[Anime/CasshernSins denying that robots would take over the world]], and even [[Anime/DeadmanWonderland teasing a second cancellation of Toonami]].
* TrueCompanions: He's close enough to SARA that he's willing to risk his own life when Swayzak infects her and puts her (and by extension, the entire ship) in danger.
** The Intruder II is no different. When TOM heard that SARA was dismantled, He said that he will make the Intruder pay for it. He did so by destroying the [[spoiler:Absolution MKIII to make sure he wiped out the Intruder]].
** Again in The Forge. He attacks the ambushing aliens to give SARA and the other TOM units enough time to escape on the Vindication. [[spoiler:Unfortunately though, he doesn’t make it out alive]].
* VampireHunter: Claims to have been one "way back" in his review of ''The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard''.
* YouAreNumberSix: The [=TOMs=] are designated by their numbers. Overall, there's only been three ''unique'' TOM units: TOM 1, 2 and 4. TOM 3, 3.5, and 5 are all upgrades of TOM 2. [[spoiler:TOM 6 seems to be a mix between TOM 3 and 5.]]
* YouDontLookLikeYou: This was the reaction that TOM 4 received from Toonami's older fans. In hindsight, the shorter and pudgier TOM 1 can also elicit this reaction from those more familiar with the more lean and muscular designs.

[[folder:SARA]]
->Voiced by: Sally Timms (TOM 1, 2, and 3 eras), Unknown (TOM 3 era), Dana Swanson (TOM 5 era), Fusako Shiotani (April 1st 2018 only), Maya Enoyoshi (''Cosmo Samurai'')
[[quoteright:290:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/toonamisara1234.png]]

An A.I. matrix who runs the Absolution with TOM. She helps with broadcasting Toonami, and also enjoys playing video games like TOM does.
----

* ActionGirl: She manages the external guns on the ''Vindication'' base/airship.
* ArtificialIntelligence: She's the mind of both the Absolution and the Vindication and personality of its computer system.
* BenevolentAI: Her purpose is to help out with the broadcast.
* DeadpanSnarker: Just like her pal TOM, she has a witty comment or two. After the revival, she often does this in response to something TOM 5 said during the intro. This was shown every week... until Intruder II.
* DeathIsCheap: [[spoiler:The Intruder rips out her core in ''The Intruder II''. However, TOM managed to back her up and upload her onto the new base on Planet Shogo 162.]]
* DisneyDeath: As mentioned above, [[spoiler:TOM managed to back her up and upload her onto the new Shogian "base" after the Intruder ripped her core out from the Absolution]].
* GamerChick: She likes playing video games as much as TOM does, conducting her own reviews (notable ones being her reviews of ''VideoGame/TheElderScrollsIIIMorrowind'' and ''VideoGame/LostKingdoms'', and the ''VideoGame/{{Rez}}'' review featuring only herself [[TheCameo and Swayzak]]) and even challenging TOM to a match in ''VideoGame/ForzaMotorsport 5''. She even gives her own opinions about ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaBreathOfTheWild'' and ''VideoGame/AnimalCrossingPocketCamp''.
* HeartDrive: Enough of her memory and personality can be downloaded to a handheld device that, if her main core is ever destroyed, she can reconstruct herself from once plugged into a new network. This was shown during the final episode of ''The Intruder II''.
* {{Hologram}}: During the TOM 1 and 2 eras, she was simply a floating head. The TOM 3 era (from 2004 to 2007) gave her a full body. When she was brought back for the TOM 5 era, she went back to being just a head. During ''The Intruder III'', she upgrades herself to a full body again, albeit smaller and more fairy-like.
* NotQuiteBackToNormal: [[spoiler:After she reconstructs herself from TOM 5's back up and the Planet Shogo 162 base's matrix systems, she mentions that some of her data is still missing and there's new data she doesn't recognize. She uses this data later on to create a new body for herself.]]
* OracularHead: Her first and third incarnations are just a floating head.
* OurFairiesAreDifferent: The events of ''WesternAnimation/TheIntruderIII'' see her upgrade herself to a mobile form that resembles a fairy. Sort of like [[VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaOcarinaOfTime Navi]].
* RobotGirl: Her appearance from the TOM 3 era sported a full body as does her appearance post-Intruder 3.
* SapientShip: Before the events of ''Intruder III'', she was essentially the Absolution itself communicating with TOM via a hologram.
* SpaceshipGirl: SARA's holograms are always female.
* TheComicallySerious: During the Cartoon Network days of the block.
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: She was absent from the TOM 4 era, or at the very least never made her presence known. She was also absent when Toonami was revived on [adult swim] due to budgetary reasons, but has since been brought back when TOM was updated into TOM 5. The reasons why SARA went missing during the TOM 4 era are unknown.

[[folder:Moltar]]
->Voiced by: Creator/ClayMartinCroker
[[quoteright:259:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/toonamimoltar_9145.png]]

A ''WesternAnimation/SpaceGhost'' villain turned former host of Toonami, who ran the block from the comfy confines of his control room in Ghost Planet Industries before TOM came around.
----

* TheBusCameBack: After C. Martin Croker's passing, Moltar made his first (and final) appearance on Toonami in 17 years as part of a special memorial opening.
* ChuckCunninghamSyndrome: Nothing is known of his whereabouts after TOM took over as the host of Toonami, and unfortunately so far, the production crew has expressed no interest in explaining what's up with Toonami's first host nowadays. This includes other Space Ghost spin-off media such as the rebooted Cartoon Planet. The poor guy just kinda vanished altogether, and a return to Toonami in any form seems unlikely after the untimely death of his voice actor. [[InMemoriam Toonami's memorial commercial for his voice actor]] didn't explain in-universe as to why Moltar stopped hosting Toonami, but does give a permanent excuse for why he won't ''return'' in that he's going back home and isn't coming back.
* {{Crossover}}: Toonami is essentially a spin-off of ''WesternAnimation/SpaceGhostCoastToCoast'', and it's implied that this Moltar is the same Moltar from that show.
* EvilFeelsGood: In his villain talk bumper, he mentions that one of the pros of being the bad guy is that they usually have more fun along the way than the heroes.
* EvilSoundsDeep: Well, he ''is'' one of the villains from ''WesternAnimation/SpaceGhost'', and his voice ''is'' deep. Though, whether or not he can be considered a villain during his time as Toonami's host is debatable. He does state that he still considers himself a villain during his villain talk bumper.
* TheFaceless: Shares this quality with TOM since that mask ''is'' their face.
* InterspeciesRomance: Considering that he's a being made of lava wearing a containment suit, he's this trope with the human Sailor Jupiter.
* NecessarilyEvil: Addresses this in his "Villains" speech, being a bad guy himself and stating [[Anime/{{Voltron}} Lotor]] and [[WesternAnimation/ThunderCats Mumm-Ra]] as his favorites (besides himself).
* NoodleIncident: He stated that he once dated [[Franchise/SailorMoon Sailor Jupiter]], though something happened that caused them to break up.
* VillainProtagonist: He's a villain from ''Space Ghost'', though his actions while hosting Toonami are borderline AntiVillain or at least shows he has hobbies beyond being evil. Judging by his final message to the more heroic TOM, he likes teasing him, but apparently hasn't really done anything overly malicious to him other than being an annoyance. TOM does have a bit of respect for the guy though, wishing him the best of luck when Moltar reveals he's going back home forever.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Clydes]]

Around since the days when Moltar ran the block, the Clydes are satellite droids that transmit images of action from all over the galaxy back to the Absolution (and before that, Ghost Planet Industries). They are also the 'crew' of the USS Vindication.
----

* BlankStare: Appears to be the TOM 5-era Clydes' default expression.
* ButtMonkey: They're always the most likely to be hurt/killed in T.I.Es.
* FlyingSaucer: The very first Clyde model from the Moltar era was a saucer ship with an expressive face.
* {{Mascot}}: They were something of an icon for Toonami before even TOM made his appearance.
* RobotBuddy: They serve as one to TOM himself, apparently enough for him to trust his life in their hands during ''Trapped in Hyperspace''.
* RidiculouslyCuteCritter: The TOM 3 era Clydes, with their cute faces and their beetle-like appearance.
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: Like Sara, the Clydes were initially absent when Toonami was brought back on [adult swim], appearing only in leftover TOM 3 era bumpers. They were still absent during the start of the TOM 5 era, until a special bumper revealed that they were brought back and and had their appearance updated.

[[quoteright:160:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/flashd19.jpg]]
->Voiced by: Creator/DaveWittenberg (Flash), Creator/TomKenny (D)

The assistant co-hosts during the TOM 4 era.
----

* KilledOffscreen: [[spoiler:WordOfGod states that [[http://ask.fm/Clarknova/answer/133396228585 The Intruder killed them sometime]] before WesternAnimation/TheIntruderII happened.]]
* RedOniBlueOni: Flash is the hyperactive Red Oni. D is the calm, collected Blue Oni.
* ThoseTwoGuys: They are assistants who always appear together, and assist the head host, TOM.
%%%* WhatTheHellIsThatAccent: Applies to Flash.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:The Intruder]]
[[quoteright:343:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/theintruder_5371.jpg]]
[[quoteright:343:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/intruder2.jpg]]
->Voiced by: Creator/SonnyStrait and [[spoiler:Creator/SteveBlum]] (The Intruder II)

A red, alien blob that attempted to invade the Absolution. Being the very first threat that TOM ever faced, it first appeared during Toonami's first T.I.E., ''WesternAnimation/TheIntruder'', and makes a return for ''WesternAnimation/TheIntruderII''.
----

* ArchEnemy: To TOM. He's done critical damage to TOM's ship and considers it personal.
* TheAssimilator: After he makes his second appearance in ''The Intruder II'', he takes on a more humanoid shape as opposed to a formless blob...and he's evidently using parts of TOM 1 as his own. And he plans to do the same to TOM 5. He's even voiced by Sonny Strait, the voice of the original TOM.
-->'''TOM 5:''' Oh man, I make a really crappy bad guy.
* AxCrazy: Given his obsession with making TOM suffer in every possible way, it's pretty clear that assimilating TOM 1 and nearly getting blown to bits didn't do wonders for his sanity.
* BigBad: He is the villain of ''The Intruder'' and ''The Intruder II''.
* BigEater: He ''ate'' TOM 1, and was eating the Absolution until TOM 2 blew off the thruster it landed on.
* BlobMonster: What he started out as. Assimilating TOM 1 gave him a humanoid shape and a malevolent, sadistic intelligence.
* CameBackStrong: Assimilating TOM 1 has given the Intruder intelligence, and the ability to control technology. More like an EVO from ''WesternAnimation/GeneratorRex''
* CrazyPrepared: After gaining sentience from absorbing TOM 1 [[spoiler:and TOM 4]], he makes sure to remove as many of TOM 5's options as possible before attacking him.
* DeaderThanDead: [[spoiler:Is completely disintegrated by the Absolution's destruction at the end of ''The Intruder II'', leaving nothing behind for even a FromASingleCell moment.]]
* TheDreaded: This thing killed TOM before and as such is the one thing both he and SARA fear most. The minute SARA realizes that it's the same intruder from before, she outright tells TOM to get out of there.
* EveryoneCallsHimBarkeep: Who -- let alone what -- he is remains a mystery, except that he's... you know... an intruder.
* EvilGloating: After [[spoiler:killing Sara ([[DeathIsCheap it doesn't last.]])]], he gloats to TOM about killing [[spoiler:her]], [[spoiler:TOM 4]], and how he plans to kill and assimilate TOM as well.
* EvilLaugh: Does this frequently and given that he's voiced by the original TOM, it's ''unbelievably creepy''.
* ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin: He's an intruder.
* FromASingleCell: If even a tiny piece of him survives, he'll inevitably regenerate and be on his merry way. [[spoiler:TOM 5 solves this problem via NukeEm, leaving no such pieces left.]]
* HeroKiller: He ultimately devoured TOM 1 [[spoiler:and TOM 4]]. Thankfully, TOM can transfer bodies, which allowed him to blow off the part of the ship that the Intruder was on.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: [[spoiler:The very ship he used to lure TOM and SARA in ''The Intruder II'' has its engine overloaded and used to kill him.]]
* HumanoidAbomination: By Assimilating TOM 1, he now has a bipedal, humanoid shape with bits of TOM 1's body.
* InvincibleVillain: TOM makes a valiant effort but he can't even scratch the blasted thing. The first round has TOM getting knocked offline and thrown into space while the rematch has him throwing everything he can at it, which doesn't even faze the blob, before it decides to kill him. TOM 2 ultimately has to jettison everything it's attached-to away from the Absolution, which actually damages his own ship more than the blob. And even that's only temporary, as revealed in ''The Intruder II''.
* KickTheDog: [[spoiler:Assimilating SARA's A.I. core just to hurt TOM and even gloating about it.]]
* KnightOfCerebus: Despite his StarterVillain status, the Intruder has the biggest and darkest impact among all of TOM's enemies. Not for nothing that he's treated as TheDreaded in ''The Intruder II''.
* NighInvulnerable: ''Nothing'' seems to hurt this guy. Blaster shots just tickle him and TOM ultimately has to jettison everything it's attached to away from the Absolution, but even that doesn't stop him. [[spoiler:It ultimately takes TOM overloading the core of the Intruder's ship to utterly destroy him and the Absolution.]]
-->'''The Intruder:''' Did you ''really'' think blowing off the engine of your ship would kill me? You can't kill me, but I can kill you. ''Oh yes'', I can kill you.
* NukeEm: [[spoiler:How he meets his end, as TOM uses the ship the Intruder used as bait to kill the Intruder.]]
* PutOnABus: He hasn't been seen since ''The Intruder'', [[TheBusCameBack a fact that changed with its return]] in ''The Intruder II''.
* RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver: It's body is mostly red with hints of black on it to make him look intimidating.
* {{Revenge}}: His main motivation in ''The Intruder II'' is payback for being blown up.
* {{Sadist}}: The Intruder, in his own words, wants nothing more than to make TOM suffer and is downright ''gleeful'' at the prospect of killing him. [[spoiler:He even kills SARA and absorbs her A.I. core not only to control the ship, but also to hurt TOM.]]
* StalkerWithoutACrush: After nearly getting blown to bits and assimilating TOM 1, the Intruder developed both a personality and a murderous obsession with TOM and spent ''15 years'' tracking him down just to make him suffer any way he can, even [[spoiler:killing TOM 4]]. Also, some of the things he says to TOM sound downright stalkerish, and his end goal is to assimilate TOM.
-->'''The Intruder:''' Do you know how long, TOM? Do you know how long I've been out there looking for you?\
Just as your last body and consciousness became a part of me, changed me, your new body will do the same. And we will do such great things together, TOM.\
Oh TOM, we share the same consciousness. There's nothing you can do that I won't think of first, and I've been chasing you for far too long to let you go now. [[spoiler:I tracked your other self down on that distant moon where you were hiding and killed him.]] But that wasn't enough. I found a record of a broadcast that led me to you directly. I've absorbed thousands of life forms and never had the trouble I had with you. But that's all over now. Where you headed? The bridge? (''EvilLaugh'') I'll beat you there, TOM.\
Oh ''TOM?'' You're not on the bridge. Where could you be, huh? I damaged the escape pod, so you can't be hiding there. The engine core drive has been sealed off, so you won't be blowing me up. ''Where are you?'' [[PunctuatedForEmphasis I. Will. FIND YOU!]]\
I'm coming for you, TOM. Be ready!
* StarterVillain: Up until ''The Intruder'', TOM simply sat in his chair and broadcasted action cartoons. The Intruder's arrival marks the first time that TOM got out of his chair and went into action (and ultimately, to his temporary death).
* SuddenlyVoiced: He talks during ''The Intruder II'', unlike his previous appearance, where he was just a giant, voiceless blob monster.
* ThrownOutTheAirlock: Ultimately how TOM dispatches the creature and he does it by jettisoning everything its attached to.
* TookALevelInBadass: Before, the Intruder was a mindless giant amoeba set on "Eat". Assimilating TOM 1 has made it smarter, stronger, and far more dangerous than before.
* VoiceOfTheLegion: In ''The Intruder II'', his voice is a combination of Creator/SonnyStrait and [[spoiler:Creator/SteveBlum]], after assimilating TOM 1 and [[spoiler:TOM 4]], who they respectively voiced.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Swayzak]]
[[quoteright:292:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/swayzak_2237.jpg]]
->Voiced by: Creator/MichaelDorn

The antagonist of the third T.I.E., ''WesternAnimation/TrappedInHyperspace''. He's a virus that attempts to make the Absolution crash into Earth by infecting the ship and taking control, forcing TOM to take action.
----

* AIIsACrapshoot: He's a sentient, evil computer virus.
* ArcVillain: Of ''Trapped in Hyperspace''.
%%* ChuckCunninghamSyndrome: Hasn't been seen since ''Trapped in Hyperspace'', although the official Toonami Tumblr has hinted at him returning.
* CardCarryingVillain: He matches all the standard villain cliches, with the added bonus of ''taking over the Absolution and thousands of other ships for fun, what the hell is wrong with you Swayzak?''
* ContagiousAI: A sentient computer virus character that infects and takes the place of SARA; gets to the DOKS in episode 3, [[spoiler:and later TOM]].
* TheCorrupter: He manages to [[spoiler:infect TOM in the Trapped in Hyperspace game and have him perform a FaceHeelTurn! How many villains have done that to TOM?]]
%%* DeadpanSnarker: He's very snarky right here:
%%-->'''Swayzak:''' Good luck, ''hero''.
* ForTheEvulz: He admits to taking over ships simply for fun, but it seems like it's moved beyond that.
* GlowingEyesOfDoom: He has glowing yellow eyes that underscore his evilness.
* EvilGloating: He gloats a lot.
* EvilIsHammy: You can tell his voice actor was having some fun with the character, although this is given as the same actor voiced IM Weasel.
* EvilLaugh: Belts out a few impressive villainous laughs throughout the T.I.E while taunting TOM.
* EvilSoundsDeep: He's a malevolent AI with a hell of a deep voice.
%%* {{Jerkass}}: TOM lampshades it.
* LeanAndMean: From what we can see of his body, he's skinny as a rail and definitely not a nice guy.
* LightIsNotGood: He's bright orange, in contrast to his dark, evil nature.
* {{Pride}}: Thinks he can't be defeated. That isn't true.
* PutOnABus: After ''Trapped in Hyperspace'', he doesn't appear again. His cameo in SARA's review of ''Rez'' doesn't count.
%%* RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver: Well, maybe not black, but certainly red (or orange).
* VillainousBreakdown: TOM invokes this to throw off his game, implying that SARA is also fighting back. He completely loses it, however, once you beat stage 5 in the game. "[[BigNo Noooooooooooo!]] [[BigWhy Whyyyyyyy?]]"
* VocalEvolution: He has a different voice when he cameos in SARA's review of ''Rez''. This is actually the voice he had in the flash game tie-in.
%%* VoiceOfTheLegion: Definitely sounds like one.
%%* YellowEyesOfSneakiness Rotolato, anyone? #PokemonUltraMoon
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Orcelot Rex]]
The antagonist of the ''Endgame'' webcomic. A robotic space pirate that seeks to use SARA as the main AI of his own ship to further his ambitions of galactic conquest.
----
* AttackItsWeakPoint: With his access to numerous other bodies and his head being difficult to damage on its own, his only main weakness is a killswitch in the center of his forehead that only something as thin as the tines of a fork can reach.
* BodySurf: He can do this whenever the body he's currently wearing is destroyed.
* {{Cthulhumanoid}}: Orcelot's head has a mass of tentacles branching out from it, wrapping around his body in various ways. These keep his head anchored to the body he's using, and let him remain mobile when he's destroyed.
* HeroKiller: He was responsible for TOM 2's destruction and subsequent upgrade into TOM 3.
* SpacePirates: Plunders and destroys whatever he pleases in order to fulfill his ambitions.

The antagonist of the seventh T.I.E., ''WesternAnimation/TheForge'', he's a brutal warlord who commands The Forge, mass-producing TOM units as slave labor and hoping to use the Vindication to further his plots for galactic conquest.
----
* AliensAreBastards: He sees TOM units as nothing but disposable labor and plans to use the Vindication as a warship to achieve universal domination.
* BaldOfEvil: He's a heinous villain without a single hair on his head.
* BlackEyesOfEvil: His eyes are as pitch-black as his very soul.
* BoisterousWeakling: [[spoiler:Despite all his bluster and sheer sadism, he's not the best fighter. He has to resort to underhanded tactics to get TOM off guard, and TOM ultimately beats him in a head-to-head brawl.]]
* DirtyCoward: He's certainly not above using dirty tricks to get one over on TOM, and his VillainousBreakdown upon defeat cements him as a bully who can't take what he dishes out.
* EvilGloating: During his final fight with TOM, Booger taunts the robot that he will die a forgotten failure.
* EvilSoundsDeep: Beau Billingslea gives the Commander a deep, ominous voice.
* EvilSoundsRaspy: His voice has a notable rasp to it, befitting a monstrous character like this.
* FatBastard: Having an endless supply of disposable slave labor means he doesn't have to do much for himself, so he's not exactly in the best shape.
* GeneralRipper: He's clearly a high-ranking official in whatever military he's part of, and plans to win the GreatOffscreenWar by any means necessary.
* HeroKiller: [[spoiler:He kills both Clydes and shoots TOM 5 dead -- but thanks to Sara, that last one doesn't stick.]]
* JerkAss: He's nothing but a petty, sadistic thug with too much power.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: Neither his name nor that of his species are ever revealed; he's only referred to as "Booger," a mocking nickname given to him by TOM.
* SlaveryIsASpecialKindOfEvil: He uses TOM units as slave labor and goes out of his way to treat them as horribly as possible.
* SmugSnake: He's got a high opinion of himself, but it's clear he isn't nearly the unstoppable force he thinks he is.
* ThrownOutTheAirlock: [[spoiler:He's defeated when TOM jettisons him into space.]]
* VillainousBreakdown: [[spoiler:His smug bravado vanishes the instant he realizes he's losing; once TOM beats the tar out of him in a one-on-one fight, the Commander actually cries.]]
