->''"Lotta bad guys out there; sometimes the pursuit gets a little...messy. You know?"''

An ATF agent investigating the club's involvement in arms trafficking.
----
* AintTooProudToBeg: She quickly resorts to weeping and crying for mercy when faced with danger.
* AmbitionIsEvil: She only wants to bring down SAMCRO because of how it will look on her record. Her actions to do so get more corrupt and cold-blooded before she is finally killed by Opie.
* AssholeVictim: Her [[KarmicDeath death]] at the hands of Opie, where she [[UndignifiedDeath pathetically begs for mercy]], was definitely a long-time coming.
* BerserkButton: When caught off-guard by a physical attack she often flies into a rage and can't think straight, and often makes the situation much more of a personal vendetta.
* BigBad: Of Season 1, as she becomes the main threat to the club and inadvertently gets Donna killed.
* BigBadEnsemble: She shares this role in Season 3 with Jimmy O'Phelan, although they're at odds with each other.
* BoomHeadshot: Stahl is killed when Opie fires a sub-machine gun into the back of her head at point-blank range.
* BreakTheHaughty: The club seems to know exactly how to get her to drop her cool-and-conniving mask if they press her.
* TheChessmaster: She attempts to be this, and in many ways, she is very clever. [[spoiler: She made SAMCRO believe Opie was a rat, and made Gemma a national-wide target. But she ultimately plays a game that was all just a set-up by SAMCRO to have her killed in the end]].
* ChronicBackstabbingDisorder: Frequently cuts deals with SAMCRO, twists them in her favor, never thinking of the consequences or harm they have on others, and they pretty much all go sour. Turns out to be her FatalFlaw in the end.
* CrocodileTears: When Stahl frames Amy Tyler for murdering Edmond Hayes, she also reveals her relationship with her and starts crying. It's implied this was done to make her statement look more convincing, especially since Stahl is never shown feeling regret over killing Tyler outside of this scene.
* DeadpanSnarker: Stahl is a major source of snark due to her dry, sardonic sense of humor.
* DirtyCop: Is not above purposefully endangering civilians, framing people for crimes, or even murdering fellow ATF agent if it means getting at the club.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: When Unser tells her that Ethan Zobelle (who can't be touched by the ATF) had Gemma beaten and gang-raped, she is more than happy tell Unser to tell SAMCRO that Zobelle is an FBI informant.
* EvilCannotComprehendGood: [[ClassicalAntiHero For a certain value of "good", anyway]]. She meets her downfall at the end of Season 3 because she assumes that Jax is just as [[ItsAllAboutMe selfish]] and [[ChronicBackstabbingDisorder deceitful]] as she is. When Jax seemingly makes a deal with her behind SAMCRO's back, she's all too happy to out him as a rat to the rest of the club, assuming that they'll disown him. She never considers the possibility that [[UnspokenPlanGuarantee Jax's friends were in on his plan all along]], and that they were always planning to double-cross her.
* EvilIsPetty: Her deal with Jax was already finished by handing over Jimmy O' and turning the club in. But ofcourse, she couldn't just leave it there. She just ''had'' to reveal Jax as the rat in front of the club which most certainly would guarantee him getting killed by them (''if'' he really was a rat). Unknowing to her though, the entire SAMCRO was in on Jax's plan all along.
* FairCop: She successfully seduces Hale and later Agent Tyler.
* FauxAffablyEvil: Apart from snarkiness, she often has the facade of being a ReasonableAuthorityFigure when she is actually a self-centered ManipulativeBitch.
* {{Frameup}}: A favorite tactic of hers:
** At the end of Season 1, she frames Opie as a rat, causing Clay to order Tig to kill him, only to kill Donna instead.
** At the end of Season 2, she frames Gemma for the murders of Polly Zobelle and Edmond Hayes, when in fact it was Stahl who shot Edmond in the back and Polly was killed in self-defense by Gemma. This leads to Gemma going on the lam, and a distraught Cameron Hayes kidnapping Abel and killing Half-Sack, setting off the events of Season 3.
** At the end of Season 3, after she is outsmarted by SAMCRO, she murders Amy Tyler, her own partner and lover, in order to pin the Polly/Edmond incident on her.
** Spilling the beans on Jax's deal is a case of FramingTheGuiltyParty, [[EverybodyKnewAlready or so she thought.]]
* HateSink: She really is just a [[SmugSnake smug]], [[ChronicBackstabbingDisorder deceitful]] and [[ManipulativeBitch manipulative bitch]] who only concerns about herself and betrays both fellow cops and criminals she cooperates with for her own gains. After her deal with Jax was finished, she betrays him by revealing him as the rat to SAMCRO, thinking they will kill him in prison. [[AssholeVictim It makes her death at the hands of Opie all the more satisfying]].
* HeroAntagonist: In Season 1 only, when her motives were firmly to do with fulfilling her job.
* ItsAllAboutMe: She has complete lack of empathy for anyone but herself. Everyone else she uses and dismisses after she is done.
* {{Jerkass}} Treats everyone around her, both criminal and law enforcement alike, with arrogant disrespect.
* KarmicDeath: Stahl was indirectly responsible for Donna's death. She is executed by Opie via headshot following a VillainousBreakdown.
* LaserGuidedKarma: Her reaction to her colleague getting her face smashed is plain callousness. Later in that same episode, she gets her own face smashed into the table by Otto.
* ManipulativeBitch: Does this throughout her appearance. Especially when it comes to making promises and deals she doesn't honor.
* RevengeBeforeReason: Stahl grows increasingly desperate to hurt the club, and goes from a HeroAntagonist to a full-fledged villain as a result. Her beat-down at Otto's hands served as the catalyst.
* SanitySlippage: Starts to lose it, when she discovers that Jax is a lot more clever than she thought.
* {{Slimeball}}: She is a deeply CorruptCop with no morals or compassion and is willing to betray cops and criminals alike to achieve her own ends.
* SmugSnake: She ''is'' quite cunning and manipulative, but she has a tendency to underestimate her opponents and not think about the potential consequences of her actions. [[spoiler: And she ultimately plays a game she didn’t know was all just a set-up made by the entire SAMCRO in order to have her killed]].
* TheSociopath: Proves to be a law enforcement example of his. Stahl cares about no one but herself, as evidenced when she begs for mercy when her life is in danger, but doesn't care about anyone else life. Even when Donna is killed, her regret is that it could comeback on her. And like most sociopaths, she doesn't hesitate to kill, if doing so will benefit her agenda.
* VillainousBreakdown: She frantically begs Opie not to kill her in the seconds before her death.

A Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agent pretending to investigate SAMCRO. He and Dr. Tara Knowles dated in Chicago until he became threatening and she obtained a restraining order against him.
----
* AintTooProudToBeg: He begs Tara to call an ambulance and not let him bleed out after she shoots him.
* ArchEnemy: To Jax, who he sees as a rival for Tara.
* AssholeVictim: After refusing to leave her alone, he eventually tries to rape Tara. Fortunatelly, Jax arrives and kills him before that happens.
* AttemptedRape: He almost rapes Tara, but she manages to escape him at the last minute by shooting him in the gut.
* AxCrazy: Kohn is unstable at the best of times and otherwise is dangerously insane.
* BoomHeadshot: Courtesy of Jax.
* DirtyCop: He isn't above abusing his power as an ATF agent to achieve his own twisted ends.
* DomesticAbuse: Tara alludes to him being 'violent' hence the reason she left him.
* FauxAffablyEvil: Kohn can initially appear helpful and pleasant, but underneath the smarmy grin he's a complete lunatic.
* KilledMidSentence: Jax shoots Kohn in the head as he calls out, "Once a biker slut, always a-BOOM".
* LaserGuidedKarma: He moved to another state just to continue to stalk Tara. When confronted by Jax, he breaks into his house and vandalises the baby’s room and takes a piss in it. Then he gets heavily assaulted by an infurious Jax at the barber shop.
* LoveMakesYouCrazy: He used to be in a relationship with Tara when she lived in Chicago, but he became obsessed with her and she ended up filing a restraining order against him. When he tracks her down to Charming he begins stalking her again, believing that he can "rescue" her from her biker boyfriend and rekindle their romance.
* NoHoldsBarredBeatdown: Jax beats the ever-living shit out of him after he leaves a sick 'message' at Jax's home.
* PsychoExBoyfriend: He is obsessed with Tara and goes to destructive length to try to be with her again.
* SanitySlippage: It's unclear if he was ever 'normal' but by the time he turns up in Charming he's full-blown crazy.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: In terms of character appearances, Kohn isn't around much. But he's the reason Tara came back to Charming, and his death signifies the start of her ingratiation into the outlaw life.
* StalkerWithACrush: Toward Tara. He chased her from Chicago to Charming, ignoring a restraining order in the process.
* {{Yandere}}: Male version, for Tara.

[[folder:Agent Amy Tyler]]

->'''Played By:''' Creator/PamelaJGray

An ATF agent who was both June Stahl's professional and personal partner.
----
* AmbiguouslyEvil: Unlike Stahl, it's never fully revealed if Tyler was actually corrupt or if she was simply in love with someone who dragged her into a web of lies and deceit, which got her killed in the end. It's also possible that she ''was'' corrupt, but grew wary of Stahl after seeing she was becoming too reckless and keeping too many secrets from her.
* ExtremeDoormat: Stahl mistreats her is almost every scene they are in together, and she doesn't once standup for herself.
* FlatCharacter: She's Stahl's girlfriend and an ATF agent. By the time she starts growing suspicious of Stahl's dealings and begins to develop even a tiny bit, Stahl kills her.
* {{Frameup}}: Stahl kills her and then frames her for the murder of Edmond Hayes.
* MauveShirt: She has a little bit of characterization and it's established towards the end of Season 3 that she doesn't approve of how Stahl's handling her side deals with Jax. Other than that, she serves no purpose besides dying later on so Stahl can frame her for the murder of Edmond Hayes.
