!! Yakumo
[[quoteright:180:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_yakumo.jpg]]
->Voiced by: Creator/YukoMinaguchi (JP), Peggy O'Neal (EN), Creator/LilianaBarba (LA Spanish)

The last surviving human after the Human-Enterran war. When she was 6 years old, she was put into suspended animation by her father. His plan was to let her sleep for 50 years, after which she would awaken and start her travel to Shinzo, accompanied by friendly Enterran guardians. At Shinzo, she would find the means to restore the world. However, the machine that kept her asleep malfunctioned, causing her to sleep for 500 years instead, resulting in her waking up in a world without humans. She still plans to travel to Shinzo.

Her most notable trait is that she really detests violence and never wants to employ it, even when it proves to be necessary.
----
* ActualPacifist: Even if someone clearly makes multiple attempts to end her life, she still doesn't want to employ violence against that person.
* AllLovingHeroine: She detests violence and spares the lives of even the most despicable of people.
* BarrierMaiden: Becomes one in the second timeline, spending her powers to keep Lanancuras imprisoned.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: When pushed too far by the original Mushrambo, her latent celestial powers awaken, followed by her proclaiming she cannot forgive him. Coming from her, that's saying much.
* DubNameChange: Her first name is the same but in all versions, but in the original Japanese her last name is "Shindo", in the English dub and all dubs based on it her last name is "Tatsuro".
* DubPronunciationChange: Her first name is supposed to be pronounced "YAH-kumo", but as is often the case with early 2000s dubbing Yakumo's name suffers from a case of AccentUponTheWrongSyllable and as a result we end up with "Yuh-KOO-mo" in the dub.
* GenderFlip: The Tang Sanzang of ''Literature/JourneyToTheWest'' was a male, while Yakumo is female.
* GoodIsDumb: Always spares the lives of ObviouslyEvil characters, even when they ooze untrustworthiness. She does grow out of it during the battle against the original Mushrambo though.
* TheHeart: Is the one who keeps the team together.
* HumanPopsicle: Spent 500 years in suspended animation.
* IncorruptiblePurePureness: This girl is never tempted to use violence. In fact, even when it's necessary to employ violence, she still speaks out against it.
* KilledOffForReal: She dies in the second timeline, after using all of her power to weaken Lanancuras as much as possible.
* LastOfHerKind: In the original timeline, she is the last human alive. [[spoiler: And she brings her people back from the dead when she kills Satan Mushrambo before he can exterminate them.]]
* RippleEffectProofMemory: Is one of two beings in the second timeline to remember the events of the first, the other being Hakuba.
* SparedByTheAdaptation: [[spoiler:She dies at the end of the anime. She survives in the manga and goes on to have a daughter with Mushra.]]
* ThisIsUnforgivable: Says this to the original Mushrambo after he kicked too many dogs (or little Enterran kittens in this case). Seeing as she is an actual pacifist, someone who hears this phrase from her has crossed the MoralEventHorizon several times by that time.
--> '''Yakumo''': I have tried not to be a vengeful person, but that is over... I cannot forgive you!
* WomanChild: A rare female example, but justified as she was placed in suspended animation when she was only five. So she is still for a large part emotionally and mentally a little girl who slept through her childhood.

[[folder:Mushra]]
!!Mushra
[[quoteright:177:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_mushra.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:177:[[labelnote:Hyper Mushra]]https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_h_mashura.jpg[[/labelnote]]]]
->Voiced by: Creator/MinamiTakayama (JP), Tom Gibis (EN), Creator/EnzoFortuny (LA Spanish, normal form), Creator/ReneGarcia (LA Spanish, hyper form)

A teenaged humanoid Enterran who travels with Yakumo, protecting her from Enterrans that what to harm her. He met Yakumo when he was chained near a waterfall after being framed. Yakumo spend the entire afternoon and evening to break him loose, after which Mushra felt indebted to her.

Contrary to Yakumo, Mushra likes to fight, which sometimes puts him into conflict with Yakumo in the early episodes.
----
* AdaptationSpeciesChange: Similar to [[Franchise/DragonBall another character based on Sun Wukong]], Mushra is a humanoid being as opposed to a full-on monkey like his ''Literature/JourneyToTheWest'' counterpart.
* EleventhHourSuperpower: [[spoiler:Once he returns to his true form as a Celestial, Lanancuras stands no chance against him.]]
* AngelUnaware: [[spoiler:Being an amnesiac Celestial, he was this.]]
* DubPronunciationChange: In the original Japanese, Mushra's name is pronounced "Mush-ra" as in "mushroom", however the dub has his name pronounced "Moosh-ra" instead.
* GoldenSuperMode: Two examples:
** A subtle example is his MidSeasonUpgrade, which enhances the armor on his Hyper Mode with golden lines and gives him red and gold wings.
** [[spoiler: His Celestial form in the finale plays this trope straighter, as it has golden armor and golden wings.]]
* TheHero: Fills pretty much this role. He is the main fighter of the group and always saves Yakumo.
* HeroesPreferSwords: Averted, as his weapon of choice is an expandable staff that's able to turn into a spear when he needs to get lethal.
* HeroicSacrifice: [[spoiler: He had to do this the two times he defeated Lanancuras. The first time left him without his powers and memories, while the second would've killed him permanently if his fellow Celestials hadn't revived him at the last moment.]]
* HotBlooded: Tends to storm into situations without thinking.
* LawOfChromaticSuperiority: Subverted. While his SuperMode is red, he isn't explicitly stronger than Sago and Kutal. He does get more kills, but that's more because he is TheHero than because of his powers. Also, his most powerful form isn't red, but yellow and gold.
* MonkeyKingLite: Since the series is clearly inspired by ''Literature/JourneyToTheWest'', Mushra is obviously based on Sun Wukong. He loves to fight, wields a staff, and wears a golden headband. In addition, he and two other companions have to protect Yakumo much like Sun Wukong and his companions had to protect Xuanzang along his journey.
* PlayingWithFire: Is able to do so in Hyper Form. This is more pronounced after his MidSeasonUpgrade, where his finisher turns him into a flaming phoenix which crashes into his enemies.
* PrecursorHero: [[spoiler:Mushra is this to himself, due to his true nature as a Celestial. He was the one who sealed the traitorous Lanancuras inside an asteroid, at the cost of most of his power and his memories.]]
* RedIsHeroic: He wears red in his SuperMode, showing his status as TheHero.
* SuperMode: which looks like a red phoenix themed armored warrior.
* UnwillingSuspension: In both timelines, he gets chained to a cliff on top of a waterfall by a mob of angry villagers, and is saved by Yakumo (Original Timeline) and Binka (New Timeline).
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Sago]]
!!Sago
[[quoteright:180:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_sargo.jpg]]
->Voiced by: Yasuhiko Kawazu (JP), Creator/SteveBlum (EN), Creator/JoseGilbertoVilchis (LA Spanish)

Another humanoid looking Enterran. He is an old friend of Mushra who, as implied in the first episode, seems to be a rather shady guy. But he selflessly joins Mushra and Yakumo in their quest to reach Shinzo, without any apparent motive.
----
* AdaptationSpeciesChange: Sha Wujing in ''Literature/JourneyToTheWest'' was a kappa, while Sago is a humanoid with water manipulation.
* CoolHelmet: He wears he a roman looking helmet with three blue jewels on its forehead in his normal form.
* GoldenSuperMode: After his MidSeasonUpgrade, his Hyper Mode has some gold on it, most notably on his gauntlets and chest.
* GratuitousEnglish: In the original Japanese version, he very often peppers his speech with English phrases and words.
* TheLancer: Is a bit more cautious than Mushra, but still has his back when needed.
* MakingASplash: His Hyper Mode has the power to generate high pressured streams of water. After his MidSeasonUpgrade, he is even able to create dragons made of water.
* MysticalWhiteHair: His SuperMode has this. His normal hair color is blond, as seen when his helmet was almost removed by a magnet. Strangely enough, other incidents in which he almost loses his helm reveal his hair is blue.
* SuperMode: which looks a bit like a water devil. He even gains demonic wings after a power upgrade.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Kutal]]
!!Kutal
[[quoteright:178:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_kutal.jpg]]
->Voiced by: Naoki Tatsuta (JP), Creator/BobPapenbrook (EN), Raúl De la Fuente (LA Spanish)

A large fat catlike Enterran. At first, he travels along with the group in hopes of getting to eat Yakumo, but quickly loses this motivation and wants to help her reach Shinzo.
----
* {{Acrofatic}}: He is as wide as Mushra and Sago together, but is still rather agile.
* AdaptationSpeciesChange: Kutal is a catlike being instead of the pig man that Zhu Bajie was in ''Literature/JourneyToTheWest''.
* TheBigGuy: Quite literally. He towers over the rest of the group and is also at least twice as wide as a normal human. He also fights with a mace in his normal form.
* CassandraTruth: In the second timeline, he tries to convince Binka he is actually the Kutal she is looking for, but due to his appearance and overall silliness, she doesn't believe him and avoids him, while continuing her search for the "legendary Kutal"
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: He looks rather stupid and seems to be obsessed with food most of the time. But when push comes to shove, he proves to be a capable warrior. When he really needs to kick ass, he transforms from a fat humanoid cat to an armored humanoid lion.
* DishingOutDirt: Is able to split the ground in his Hyper Mode.
* ExpectingSomeoneTaller: Is on the receiving end of this in the second timeline when Binka was searching for him. This even went to the point of her refusing to believe he is actually Kutal.
* PantheraAwesome: His Hyper Mode evokes this trope, by being based on a lion.
* SuperMode: A humanoid armored lion.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Hakuba]]
!!Hakuba
[[quoteright:180:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/shinzo_hakuba_161.jpg]]
->Voiced by: Creator/TsutomuKashiwakura (JP), Tom Fahn (EN)

Yakumo's mode of transportation. Hakuba is a sentient hovercraft robot looking a bit like a combination between a turtle and a horse.
----
* InvoluntaryShapeshifting: Putting certain [=EnCards=] into his control panel causes him to change shape, taking on several attributes of the Enterran on the card. What makes this Involuntary, is that these transformations can only be initiated by whoever controls him.
* RoboSpeak: Speaks in a very monotonous metallic sounding voice. What makes this a bit strange, is that the group later arrives at a city full of robots, all of which sound perfectly human.
* RobotBuddy: Is this to Yakumo. Contrary to the frequent depiction of this trope, Hakuba is not a small robot, but rather a sentient car-sized transport vehicle.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Mushrambo]]
!!Mushrambo
[[quoteright:180:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_mashuranbo.jpg]]
->Voiced by: Creator/MinamiTakayama (JP), Dan Lorge (EN, normal form), Creator/SteveBlum (EN, Gold), Creator/ReneGarcia (LA Spanish)

A fusion between Mushra, Sago and Kutal, looking like a purple haired samurai in his early twenties.
----
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: Reptile king Ryuma tried to do this to him. Unfortunately for him, only the "Crazy" part sticked, causing Mushrambo to destroy everything in sight.
* DubPronunciationChange: In the original Japanese his name is pronounced "Mush-rambo", however the dub goes with "Moosh-rambo" instead.
* EverythingsBetterWithSamurai: Really evokes this trope, as he wears his hair in a typical samurai pony tail and wears samurai like armor. His fighting style is also based around using a sword.
* FusionDance: Subverted. The original Mushrambo was a completely different character unrelated to Mushra, Sago and Kutal. [[spoiler: After the demise of the original, his essence was split into three and fell into the hands of Mushra, Sago and Kutal. When they fuse, they actually recombine the split essences of the original, allowing them to take on his form and powers.]]
* GoldenSuperMode: More like Golden MidSeasonUpgrade. After Mushra, Sago and Kutal receive their MidSeasonUpgrade, their Mushrambo fusion now wears golden plate armor and has gold hair.
* GoodCounterpart: [[spoiler: The original is a sadistic Enterran general responsible for the demise of the human race. This one is merely an avatar summoned by combining his previously split essences. Because the souls of the fusees are pure, this Mushrambo is a good guy.]]
* SuperpoweredEvilSide: Temporarily gains one when [[spoiler:brainwashed by Ryuma.]] This is obvious as he has trouble defeating Ryuma's underling Gyasa while in his normal state, but easily kills [[spoiler: the king of Reptiles Ryuma, who is even fused with his giant pet dragon,]] when in his evil state. His evil form is even able to send out large city destroying shockwaves, which neither of his other incarnations is seen doing.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Binka]]
!!Binka
[[quoteright:180:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/shinzo_binka_7728_0.jpg]]
->Voiced by: Creator/AyaHisakawa (JP), Creator/PhileceSampler (EN), Creator/KarlaFalcon (LA Spanish)

A young girl introduced in the second timeline. Binka is send out by Yakumo to reunite Mushra, Sago and Kutal and bring them to Yakumo.
----
* BloodKnight: Binka loves a good fight, encourages the three heroes to do so and even joins in the fray herself with a bazooka.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: She "saves" Mushra from being chained above a waterfall by blasting the rock he's chained to with a bazooka, showing a contrast with Yakumo, who spends an entire afternoon bashing against the chains with a small rock, hurting her own hands.
* {{Foil}}: More or less takes the place of Yakumo in the first portion of the second timeline, but couldn't be more different in terms of personality. While Yakumo is an ActualPacifist, Binka is a BloodKnight.
* OvershadowedByAwesome: She is a preteen wielding regular firearms against superpowered creatures.
[[/folder]]

!Seven Enterran Generals
The villains from the first timeline. These are the seven most powerful Enterrans and are responsible for exterminating the human race. They now try to find Yakumo and kill her in a desire to complete their extermination.

[[folder:Daku]]
!!Daku
->Voiced by: Creator/KenjiUtsumi (JP), Creator/PaulStPeter (EN)

King of the insect Enterrans. Daku looks like a large blue knight wearing rhinoceros beetle themed armor.
----
* BadBoss: Kills several of his underlings just to prove his powers to Mushra, Sago and Kutal. He also kills his most trusted lieutenant Gitai to absorb his powers.
* DubNameChange: Was named "Dokkaku" in the original Japanese.
* EnergyWeapon: Is able to shoot powerful lasers from the horn on his helmet.
* GoldenSuperMode: His Hyper Mode simply turns his armor gold and more ornate but it doesn't get to do anything before he inadvertantly is forced to cling on a cliff and then absorb Gitai's [=EnCar=] to survive, resulting in a liquid metal-based form.
* {{Invisibility}}: Gains this power after absorbing Gitai's [=EnCard=].
* TinTyrant: Metals are a strong motif in his look. He appears like a large tyrant wearing plate armor in his base form- his briefly seen GoldenSuperMode is even more golden and ornate and his final Gitai absorbed form is liquid metal-like in appearance.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Ryuma]]
!!Ryuma
->Voiced by: Creator/MamiKoyama (JP, normal form and Hyper Ryuma), Creator/KunihikoYasui (JP, Grand Ryuma), Creator/IrwinDaayan (LA Spanish)

King of the reptile Enterrans, who doesn't look anything like a reptile, as he looks like a young human male. Compared to the more straight forward Daku, who simply wanted to kill Yakumo and her friends, Ryuma generally favors clever planning and humiliation, manifesting itself in attempting to brainwash Mushrambo, while wanting to marry Yakumo.
----
* AndNowYouMustMarryMe: He wants to force Yakumo to marry him to prove his superiority over her.
* AnimalEyes: True to his reptilian nature, his eyes look very snakelike. With him looking like an attractive young human male, the effect is very off-putting. Especially when he stares right towards the audience.
* CruelMercy: Forcing Yakumo to marry him as opposed to killing her. He finds Yakuma attractive, but he doesn't love her, the marriage is simply him proving to her and everyone else that he doesn't fear his enemies. He in fact relishes in hammering in how much she has no say.
* DraconicHumanoid: After absorbing the [=EnCard=] of his pet dragon Grandora, he becomes this.
* HumiliationConga: Tries to put Yakumo through one by brainwashing the fused form of her three friends/guardians into his servant and by forcing her to marry him, even telling her she can't do anything about it, because she is too weak to do so. Ultimately ends at the receiving end of one. His brainwashing of Mushrambo fails, causing the warrior to go berserk. His pet dragon Grandora is defeated at the hands of Mushrambo and Ryuma himself is killed by Mushrambo soonafter.
* SuperMode: Is able to change into a purple haired and golden armored form, thus also overlapping with GoldenSuperMode. However, this form only appears for a few seconds before absorbing the [=EnCard=] of his pet dragon Grandora, turning into a blue humanoid dragon.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Rusephine]]
!!Rusephine
->Voiced by: Creator/KeikoHan (JP), Melodee Spevack (EN, Ep 18), Creator/WendeeLee (EN, Ep 19-20), Yolanda Vidal (LA Spanish)

Queen of the bird Enterrans. Despite looking like a blonde haired angel, she is anything but. She backstabs the other generals by sending assassins after them, so she can get their card power for herself.

Her own power is the manipulation of time and space, allowing to create holes in the fabric of time to send and retrieve other people from.
----
* EvilIsNotAToy: Retrieves the original evil Mushrambo from the past, hoping he would become her servant. Instead, she got killed and absorbed by Mushrambo.
* EvilIsPetty: She immediately destroyed Mechano City after the heroes defeated Lord Caris.
* LightIsNotGood: Looks like a blond female angel, but is the worst of the generals the heroes face, apart from the original Mushrambo. Averted by her SuperMode, which looks more villainous with purple hair and green wings and clothes.
* NephariousPharaoh: She rules over the Bird Enterrans from a pyramid.
* NiceJobFixingItVillain: [[spoiler:She pulled the original Mushrambo from the past before he had finished wiping out the human race. Once the trio defeated him it caused a massive change in the timeline, where the human race survived.]]
* OneWingedAngel: After absorbing the [=EnCards=] of all the other generals, sans Mushrambo, she turns into a monstrous creature that can be best described as a worm dragon thing with her upper body attached to it.
* SuperMode: An armored version with a different color scheme.
* TimeMaster: Can send and retrieve people from the past.
* WingedHumanoid: Her first and second form are this.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Original Mushrambo]]
!!Original Mushrambo
->Voiced by: Creator/MinamiTakayama (JP), Dan Lorge (EN), Creator/ReneGarcia (LA Spanish)

The strongest of the seven Enterran Generals, though he doesn't seem to have a species to rule over.
----
* AllYourPowersCombined: He absorbs the [=EnCards=] of all the previous Generals by killing Rusephine, who did the same thing before him.
* AsskickingLeadsToLeadership: He's the most powerful of the Seven Generals, and serves as their leader. Even Rusephine, after having absorbed the [=EnCards=] of her associates, was no match for him.
* BigBad: In the first timeline due to being the leader of the Generals and responsible for exterminating mankind. [[spoiler: When Yakumo kills his past self in the present, she erases his genocide, reviving humanity.]]
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: [[spoiler: What he is ultimately revealed to be; Lanancuras' influence caused him to lead a crusade against humanity.]]
* CardCarryingVillain: He preferred to go by the title [[EvilOverlord "Dark King"]].
* EverythingsBetterWithSamurai: Seeing as he looks exactly like his heroic counterpart, this is a given, though in his case, this trope should be called Everything Is Worse With Samurai.
* EvilCounterpart: [[spoiler: Inverted in relation to the fused version of him, as this Mushrambo is the original.]]
* NiceJobFixingItVillain: A posthumous example. [[spoiler: His first death at the hands of a young Yakumo caused his essence to split into three. These three parts fell into the hands of a younger Mushra, Sago and Kutal, enabling them to transform into Hyper Enterrans and, in the time of need, fuse into an avatar of him, allowing them to use his power, which ultimately is the cause of his second death.]]
* OneWingedAngel: Turns into a green haired devil [[spoiler: after absorbing all the [=EnCards=] of the other generals.]]
* RetGone: [[spoiler:Due to the past version of Mushrambo being transported to the future and killed there by Yakumo, he could never force the Enterrans to fear and hate humanity, and as such, the destruction of the human race was erased from existence. In the new timeline, both peoples, Humans and Enterrans, were able to live in peace without him corrupting the latter.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Other Enterran generals]]
!!Beast King Diehanger, Sea King Franken/Sea Queen Kraken and Phantom King Kimylas
They were never seen in the show as they were killed by Rusephine.
----
* TheGhost: Apart from their [=EnCards=], they never really appear in person.
* ShesAManInJapan: Inverted with Franken, who is actually a woman in the Japanese version, named Sea Queen Kraken. The image on his/her [=EnCard=] also resembles a female character, rather than a male one.
[[/folder]]

!Other Enterran antagonists
These Enterrans are either minions of the Enterran Generals or unaffiliated with them but still out to kill Yakumo.

[[folder:Katris]]
!!Katris
->Voiced by: Creator/HideyukiHori (JP), Creator/SteveKramer (EN)

A bounty hunter based on a praying mantis. He is the first antagonist the heroes face.
----
* BountyHunter: His profession that led him to coming in contact with Yakumo.
* OneWingedAngel: Twice. At first, he absorbs the [=EnCards=] of his partners, two other praying mantis bounty hunters, to achieve a sleeker metallic looking form. The second time, he absorbs the card of Queen Bee-ing, buffing him up while making the queen's face appear on his belly.
* SlayingMantis: looks like a humanoid praying mantis.
* StarterVillain: He's the first villain that the heroes encounter on their quest.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Queen Bee-Ing]]
!!Queen Bee-Ing
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/queen_bee_ing.png]]
->Voiced by: Creator/KazukoSugiyama (JP), Creator/MariDevon (EN)

An Enterran based on a queen bee. She commands hundreds of bee soldiers and is extremely vain. In fact, she thinks eating beautiful beings would make her more beautiful, thus driving her to attempt to eat Yakumo.
----
* AdiposeRex: Has a very large body, to put it mildly.
* DeathFromAbove: Gets killed when Mushra trucks her into firing at an upright train wagon, causing it to fall on her.
* OneWingedAngel: Can turn herself to an even fatter form that is able to shoot stingers out of her body.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Big Blue and Brother]]
!!Big Blue and his brother
Two spider based Enterrans who, along with their army of spider minions, took residence in a small desert town, intimidating the residents into obeying them.
----
* AmbiguousSituation: It's possible they exist in the second timeline where the war between humans and Enterrans never happened and they'd have no reason to try and kill or eat humans, which was the sole reason Mushra destroyed their cards, but this is never confirmed.
* GiantSpider: They themselves are humanoid spiders, but when Big Blue was killed and absorbed by his brother, the resulting merger is this.
* KilledOffForReal: Their cards were slashed by Mushra, which removes all hope of revival for them.
* NoNameGiven: Big Blue's brother is never given a proper name.
* OneWingedAngel: The brother changes into a giant spider after absorbing Big Blue.
* UngratefulBastard: After clearly being outmatched by Mushra, Sago and Kutal's Hyper forms, Yakumo decides to spare their lives. But Big Blue's brother still attempts to kill Yakumo by absorbing Big Blue and attacking the heroes.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Tombo]]
!!Tombo
A very large Enterran based on the larva of a firefly. He lives under the lake near a community of firefly based Enterrans.
----
* DoppelgangerAttack: Is able to do this in his Hyper Form.
* OneWingedAngel: After Mushra destroys his larva like form, his true form, an armored humanoid firefly flies out of the remains.
* ShedArmorGainSpeed: Pretty much the nature of his transformation; he sheds his large larva like body to turn into a smaller more mobile humanoid form.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Gitai]]
!!Gitai
King Daku's lieutenant, who is able to change his shape into whatever he likes.
----
* MeaningfulName: Gitai is Japanese for mimicry, which is his entire schtick.
* VoluntaryShapeshifting: His main power. He used it to fool Yakumo into entering King Daku's castle, by pretending to be [[spoiler: Kiri, another human survivor]].
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Waru]]
!!Waru
King of the lizard Enterrans. He is able to turn his right hand into a sword and walk through solid walls, making him a very difficult opponent.
----
* TheCameo: He's seen in the second timeline during a flashback where Mushra recalls being the champion of a tournament.
* {{Intangibility}}: He's able to walk and fall through solid surfaces.
* VillainHasAPoint: He boasts that Daku and the insect Enterrans were nothing next to the Reptiles. He ends up proving to be braggart who isn't strong as he claims, but his boasts are proven right by Gyasa.
* VoluntaryShapeshifting: Downplayed, as he is only able to turn his right hand into a sword.
* YouHaveFailedMe: He's on the receiving end of this after Mushra breaks his sword arm. Gyasa tells him that he is nothing without his sword and kills him.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Gyasa]]
!!Gyasa
->Voiced by: Creator/RyuseiNakao (JP), Creator/DerekStephenPrince (EN), Guillermo Coria (LA Spanish)

The King of the snake Enterrans. He appears as a pale skinned gorgon wearing a blue skintight suit. Gyasa is the first villain whose fight lasts for more than one episode and also the first one to kill some of the main characters. This also makes him the first one to die at the hands of their fusion; Mushrambo.
----
* {{Contortionist}}: One of his skills, due to being a snake based Enterran. Gyasa is able to avoid attacks by taking on the most uncomfortable of poses.
* HeroKiller: Is the first character to kill at least one of the heroic characters in this show.
* KnightOfCerebus: Seeing as he is the first villain who manages to kill Sago and Kutal, while still giving Mushrambo a good fight, he pretty much earns this title. The villains after him are much worse.
* {{Medusa}}: His inspiration, as he also has snakes as hair, while being able to turn other beings to stone.
* NoSell: Is both at the giving and the receiving end of it. During the initial fight against the hyper forms of Mushra, Sago and Kutal, he survives attacks that previously finished off other antagonists. After Mushrambo appears, Gyasa finds out none of his attacks are effective against the purple haired samurai.
* OhCrap: His reaction after seeing Mushra fuse with his friends into Mushrambo.
* OneWingedAngel: Merges with more than thousand snake Enterrans to turn into a scaly and demonic looking form.
* ScaledUp: While he already was very reptilian, his transformed state is covered in green scales, taking this trope literally.
* TakenForGranite: Is able to turn other beings into stone using his snake hair.
* TransformationIsAFreeAction: Compared to other Enterrans, who take one second to simply change shape or absorb a card, Gyasa's transformation takes a very long time to complete. And yet, Mushrambo simply waits it out.

[[folder:Huntari]]
!!Huntari
A reptilian bounty hunter trying to kill Mushra in order to capture Yakumo. He ultimately uses genetically mutated plants against the heroes and merges with theses plants to form a large plant monster.
----
* InterimVillain: Appears between KnightOfCerebus Gyasa and Gyasa's superior Ryuma. He isn't a credible threat at all and easily defeated.
* ManEatingPlant: Becomes one after being absorbed by the genetically mutated plants.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Grandora]]
!!Grandora
Reptile king Ryuma's three-headed pet dragon. He is used in a plan to force the three heroes to turn into Mushrambo, so Ryuma can use a black card to brainwash him into his loyal puppet.
----
* {{Expy}}: To King Gidhorah from the Japanese Godzilla franchise.
* AnIcePerson: More like An Ice Dragon. One of his heads is able to freeze its victims, while another head is able to spit large blocks of hail.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Caris]]
!!Caris
->Voiced by: Junko Shimakata (JP), Tom Wyner (EN)

A noble of the Bird Enterrans. Caris was assigned to rule over Mechano City, the last refuge for robots and planned to use the advanced technology of the robots to enhance his own power.
----
* AnArmAndALeg: Loses one of his wings during his first battle with Mushra. After taking the Egg Card, it regrows.
* BodyHorror: His form after absorbing the Egg Card is pretty much this, as it resembles a mess of fleshy tendrils, covered in toothy mouths. Justified, as the Egg Card contained the data of many Enterrans, resulting in a bit of ShapeshifterMashup.
* TheCameo: Is seen in the second timeline during a flashback where Mushra recalls being the champion of a tournament.
* CombatTentacles: His main power after absorbing the Egg Card.
* TheDragon: He was the chief lieutenant of Queen Rusephine, sent to manage her kingdom's relations with Mechano City.
* HeroKiller: The first character to kill Mushra.
* LovecraftianSuperPower: After absorbing the Egg Card, he gains the power to manipulate his own flesh, generating tendrils at will.
* OneWingedAngel: Twice:
** After absorbing an Egg Card, he turns into an ugly mass of fleshy tendrils and toothy mouths. It is implied this was only a temporary effect, as his body had to get used to his new powers, since he fights in his normal, but highly strengthened Hyper Mode soon after.
** Later on, he transforms into what he calls an Ultra Hyper Mode, which looks like a monstrous gigantic version of his normal Hyper Mode. This fits this trope a bit more.
* SuperMode: A monstrous humanoid crow.
* WingedHumanoid: A given, since he is a Bird type Enterran.
* WouldHurtAChild: He starts to disassemble a robot child as a threat to the heroes.
[[/folder]]

!The Kadrians
The villains from the second timeline of the show. The Kadrians are alien life forms serving FallenAngel Lanancuras. Like Enterrans, they turn into cards upon defeat, but these are hexagon-shaped instead of rectangular. Kadrian Cards are also never used in the show to assume stronger forms.

!!Eilis
->Voiced by: Creator/HisaoEgawa (JP), Creator/SteveBlum (EN)

A male Kadrian commander made of liquid metal. He caused the heroes to transform into Mushrambo in the second timeline.
----
* BlobMonster: Is made of liquid metal. He can also change his mass to ridiculous extents, as he is able to disguise himself as an amusement park and engulf a large part of a forest.
* EnemySummoner: Can create living beings from liquid metal, such as the Metallasaurus, which is a massive dinosaur like being.
* OneWingedAngel: Merges with his Metallasaurus to form a monstrous being.
* SpontaneousWeaponCreation: Combines this trope with ShapeshifterWeapon, as he creates weapons from his own bodymass. He is seen generating a sword out of nowhere and draws throwing knives from his mouth.
* UnderestimatingBadassery: He spends his first encounter with the heroes and most of his second getting them to form Mushrambo. When they finally do so, he's wholly unimpressed and thinks defeating him will be easy. Mushrambo [[CurbStompBattle manages to defeat him without taking any damage]].
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Lunaria]]
!!Lunaria
->Voiced by: Creator/MamiKingetsu (JP)

A female Kadrian commander wielding magical powers.
----
* TheUnfought: She is never directly fought or even encountered by the main heroes. Instead, she gets unceremoniously killed off in a large explosion caused by Yakumo's celestial powers.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Garizani]]
!!Garizani
->Voiced by: Shinobu Satouchi (JP), Creator/LexLang (EN)

A centipede/lobster like minion. He is the first Kadrian to be sent out against Mushra, but is quickly defeated once Mushra gains his Hyper mode in the second timeline.
----
* OneWingedAngel: Twice. His initial form looks like a small ''Franchise/{{Pokemon}}'' like creature. After his first transformation, he looks like a huge humanoid lobster. When Mushra defeats him in this form, he responds by shedding his shell to transform into an ugly [[Franchise/{{Alien}} Xenomorph]]-like creature
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Shiro and Kuro]]
!!Shiro and Kuro
Two small bear Kadrians. They tried to get on Binka's good side in hopes of getting close to kill her, preventing the heroes from reuniting with Yakumo.
----
* FusionDance: Able to fuse into a cute panda, followed by a more menacing Red Panda like form.
* OneWingedAngel: Able to turn into menacing polar and grizzly bear forms.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Pixie]]
!!Pixie
->Voiced by: Creator/YukoNagashima (JP), Creator/MariDevon (EN)

A pixie-like Kadrian in service of Lunaria. Had the upper hand on the heroes, because of Lunaria's Sealing magic, preventing them from taking on Hyper Forms, but is ultimately defeated by Mushra.
----
* BlowYouAway: Has the power to manipulate wind.
* HoistByHerOwnPetard: Mushra uses her wind powers against her, by goading her into blowing him high into the sky, followed by him using gravity to fall on top of her.
* KillerRabbit: Subverted. First appears as a small cute fairy, only able to make a small cut in Mushra's hand. Only becomes dangerous after taking on a human sized form with less cuteness.
* {{Stripperific}}: Wears a rather revealing bodysuit.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Troll]]

[[caption-width-right:350:[[labelnote:Disguised as Yakumo]]https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/troll_yakumo.png[[/labelnote]]]]

A large troll-like Kadrian that posed as Yakumo's corpse.
----
* MultiArmedAndDangerous: Is able to sprout extra arms when needed.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Lanancuras]]
!! Lanancuras
->Voiced by: Creator/TakeshiAono (JP), Tom Wyner (EN)

The leader of the Kadrians. Lanancuras was previously a Celestial, basically an angelic being, but fell to the dark side as he was corrupted by his own power. In response to this, the other Celestials sealed him within a meteorite and banished him to deep space.
----
* ArchEnemy: [[spoiler: In ancient times, when Lanancuras turned evil, Mushra defeated him, sealed him inside an asteroid and hurled him into the dark of space. When he saw Mushra recovering his powers and memories, [[VillainousBreakdown he suffered a full-blown nervous breakdown]].]]
* BigBad: In the second timeline, he is the head villain.
* DarkIsEvil: His dominant colors are dark purple and dark metallic gray.
* DirtyCoward: When things stop getting his way, Lanancuras attempts to run from his fight against Mushra. When that fails, he attempts a very unconvincing "WeCanRuleTogether".
* EnemySummoner: Is able to summon hordes of giant Golem like creatures.
* EvilIsBigger: He towers over all of his opponents.
* EvilMakesYouMonstrous: Implied. Every other celestial we meet looks like a WingedHumanoid surrounded by light. Lanancuras, the only FallenAngel among them, has the distinction of resembling an armored giant with SpikesOfVillainy and glowing red eyes.
* FallenAngel: Was a Celestial first, before his lust for power corrupted him.
* FinalBoss: As TheManBehindTheMan in the first timeline and the ruler of the Kadrians, Lanancuras is the final villain Mushra and the others must defeat.
* FisherKing: Each celestial is connected to a galaxy, harming them in any way causes disasters to happen within that galaxy. What makes it so dangerous to fight Lanancuras is that the galaxy he's connected to is the Milky Way. Mushra fighting him causes a solar flare to head straight for earth.
* HurlItIntoTheSun: [[spoiler:Once Mushra defeats him, he reseals him into an asteroid and pushes it towards the Sun, killing him once and for all.]]
* LeakingCanOfEvil: Despite being sealed inside a meteorite for aeons, he was still able to influence the world from his prison.
* {{Leitmotif}}: In the dub, remixed versions of ''Music/NightOnBaldMountain'' play several times during the battle against him.
* TheManBehindTheMan: His position in the first timeline: [[spoiler: the meteor imprisoning him crashed on earth. Lanancuras' dark energy emanating from the meteor caused the original Mushrambo and a large amount of other Enterrans to turn evil, starting their crusade against humanity.]]
* OmnicidalManiac: Already responsible for one genocidal war on Earth due to his manipulations, he planned on wiping out all life in the Milky Way after being released.
* PersonOfMassDestruction: Causes several volcanoes to erupt all over the world right after being unsealed.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: His eyes are a menacing dark red color.
* {{Sadist}}: Really likes to make his enemies suffer, drawing out the initial fight with the three heroes instead of swiftly killing them, just because he knows they can't hurt him.
* SatanicArchetype: He's pretty much Lucifer in all but name. A godlike being who turned to the dark side and operates as a corrupter before his release.
* SealedEvilInACan: Was imprisoned in a meteor [[spoiler: by Mushra]], a meteor made of the many worlds he had destroyed in his madness. He remained trapped in the first timeline, but was freed in the second timeline [[spoiler:by Yakumo's death]].
* TinTyrant: He looks like a giant wearing a dark suit of rock-like armor. Whether or not that's his real form is a bit unclear, as he's actually a celestial. Perhaps his evil caused him to look more demonic?
