A freshman new to Hyakuji who expresses a great deal of enthusiasm for virtually everything, is a deep otaku, and an equally deep pervert. Needless to say, she fits right in. Somehow she hasn't found herself swarmed with hormonal [[NonPlayerCharacter NPCs]], but Hyakuji is full of mysteries like that. She has the ability to influence and sense emotions, and is particularly drawn to feelings of romantic or intimate love.
----
* ChivalrousPervert: Tends to flirt often with boys, and while she doesn't explicitly say as much, she's prone to some rather dirty thoughts. Actively seeks "attention" too.
* {{Cosplay}}: Happens in a lot of her threads.
* TheDitz: Can be a little lacking in common sense at times, possibly due to overexposure to anime. May overlap with [[GenreSavvy Genre Savvy]] at times due to the nature of Hyakuji.
* TheEmpath: Capable of reading and mildly influencing emotions as her primary ability.
* GenkiGirl: Big time.
* HilarityEnsues: Is mildly attracted to Ian Vaner. Is an anime fangirl. Is a pervert and craves "male attention". Ian's [[BodyHorror Body Horror]] abilities involve tentacles. It's virtually guaranteed this is going to happen eventually once she finds out about that.
* HotBlooded: To almost parodic levels.
* LeaningOnTheFourthWall: Suiko can veer into this territory from time to time, given one of her major influxes in life is anime.
* LovableSexManiac: Has shades of this at times.
* LoveFreak: Obsessed with a particular sort of love: that between a man and a woman. May or may not develop into the above more strongly.
* ManicPixieDreamGirl: Filled this role to, of all possible characters, Ian Vaner below, and will likely pull it again for other characters in the future.
* MsFanservice: Done deliberately, as Suiko desires male attention.
* {{Otaku}}: Quite fond of anime, to the point of deriving multiple mannerisms of her own from it.
* RousingSpeech: Gives these out occasionally, as of writing has yet to require one herself.
* SensorCharacter: A helpful side-effect from her emphatic abilities, allowing her to sense others in a large radius around her using their emotions and auras as the focus points.
%%* SweetTooth

!!Heleth Mastema

----

* AcademicAlphaBitch: Her ambition brought her very close to the StudentCouncilPresident's seat: with that goal still in mind, she became Head Prefect and President of the Disciplinary Committee in the mean time.
%%* BigEater: Implied.
* TheChessmaster: Is a very patient manipulator, able to pull people's strings with little effort.
%%* {{Expy}}: Of Scanty and Kneesocks.
%%* FangsAreEvil
* HairFlip: Whenever she wants to show you who's best.
* HellishPupils: A set of dual layered eyes of gold and green color, with a cat-like pupil.
* NobleDemon: Despite being a demon, Heleth has a lot of respect for any sort of rules, even ones that seem mundane.
* ManipulativeBastard: She has some talent in pulling people's strings.
%%* OurDemonsAreDifferent
* PrehensileHair: She can stab you with it, repeatedly if needed. But she also uses it for mundane tasks like point at directions, or carry her suitcase.
* {{Sadist}}: Inflicting rightful punishment on whoever deserves it is source of extreme satisfaction for her. Rulebreakers should fear her!
* {{Tsundere}}: For [[{{Cloudcuckoolander}} Shirena]].

!!Jean/Ian Vaner
-> "...Oooh, I love that look. You wanna kill me. You wanna kill me with every fiber of your being. So much hatred and rage boiling under the surface...I'm getting a close-up look at what you keep bottled up inside, and it's beautiful. They say true beauty is what's inside, and this...!"

[[caption-width-right:271:''Trolling people has never been so existentially squishy.!'']]

Descriptions: Adopted son of Alexander Vaner, and named Ian by his adoptive father, from as far back as he could remember he'd never quite managed to fit in, finding himself constantly questioning the very foundations of morality, society and humanity that most of us took for granted, and as such frequently finds himself at odds against authority and the status quo. An agent of chaos, Ian [[BlueAndOrangeMorality lives by rules of his own making]], frequently mocking the [[AllOfTheOtherReindeer herd mentality]] that he believed the majority of people subscribed to. Recently discovered the ability to switch his gender, and as such took on the alter ego that is Jean Vaner.

----
* AntiHero: Easily a Type V, if not an outright VillainProtagonist.
* AttractiveBentGender: As Jean Vaner; and how!
* TheAntiNihilist: Of the self-made BlueAndOrangeMorality type.
* BerserkButton: ''Never'' call him/her a monster.
* BizarreHumanBiology: His player wrote a full scientific analysis (via the on-site blog function) of his/her physiology from an in-character perspective. The full details are quite strange.
* BlueAndOrangeMorality: Lives purely by rules and values of his/her own making, although it also overlaps with EvenEvilHasStandards at times.
* BodyHorror: His/her power often involves a good amount of such.
* ByronicHero: Has many characteristics found in a ByronicHero, and also overlaps with the {{Ubermensch}}.
* CharacterizationMarchesOn: Has changed much from his/her original depiction, and openly views some of his previous actions with regret.
* CombatPragmatist: Favors an opportunistic approach instead of a direct confrontation, but in the event of the latter s/he can almost certainly be counted upon to be one of these.
* EvilCannotComprehendGood: Finds Jonny's attempt at [[TakingTheBullet Taking the Imagine Blade]] for Selene more than a little perplexing, and (for a time anyways) had a hard time figuring out what drives an individual's HeroicSacrifice.
* HairTriggerTemper: Tends to get easily set off, torrential profanity typically ensuing.
%%* HumanityIsInsane
* {{Hypocrite}}: For all his [[LargeHam hammy]] speeches about individuality, freedom and being one's own master, as soon as he noticed the [[BigBad Machine King's]] overwhelming power, what does he do? That's right, he readily switches sides, or at least attempts to. At least he gets RewardedAsATraitorDeserves however.
%%* ItsAllAboutMe
* LackOfEmpathy: Has been outright referred to as [[TheSociopath a sociopath]] from time to time.
%%* LargeHam
* {{Leitmotif}}: Holds the distinction of being a rare Hyakuji character who has their own original theme song composed for him/her, Orfgrad.
* LovecraftianSuperpower: Has the ability to fully control his body and absorb any biological material to replicate and assimilate. This leads to weaponized {{BodyHorror}} along these lines most of the time.
* MightMakesRight: Possibly his/her primary motivation to gain power at all costs.
* ObfuscatingStupidity: Has now ceased being socially unaware. However, continues to act like an oblivious spaz to fake people out.
* OnlySaneMan: Sees himself/herself as such due to being (at least from his/her perspective) one of the few who learned to question and challenge social norms and the status quo and who possesses the desire to be a master of his/her own destiny. Sees the conformist attitude that most "normal" people subscribe to as a form of insanity, or idiocy - likely both.
* PowerPerversionPotential: Put to all kinds of disturbing applications, some of which can't be mentioned on Hyakuji proper due to content rules. On the relatively light side, engages in Paid Dating as Jean to make money and obtain genetic samples (either through kisses orrrr...) to absorb. On the {{Brain Bleach}} side, regularly raids the garbage cans of the female dorms for discarded tampons to absorb the menstrural blood. Ian is not unfamiliar with hentai jokes that tend to crop up whenever he uses tentacles, though Jean has more self-control.
* SocialDarwinist: Has some elements of one, and doesn't deny that s/he has elements of a SocialDarwinist, but doesn't quite like being thought of as one, seeing it as an oversimplification of his personal philosophy.
* TheUnfettered: Albeit with a good helping of PragmaticVillainy and VisionaryVillain thrown in, which is why in spite of his utterly lawless attitude he doesn't go out to KickTheDog ForTheEvulz.
* {{Troll}}: Much overlap with {{TheGadfly}}, deliberately pulls what he calls "inciting insight" in which he provokes people as much as he can, pressing the worst buttons that he can identify on them, usually to prove some sort of point and/or demonstrate the importance of their life choices and how they choose to shape their identities. Loves messing with people for fun anyway though, and particularly delights in abusing the [[CuteMonsterGirl Jean]] shape to do so.

!!Kotoka Youma
-> *Insert notable character quote here*

-->Role Played by: Fin

[[quoteright:173:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/youma1_7595.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:173: ''[--(In-game Depiction)--]'']]

A ReallySevenHundredYearsOld [[OurGhostsAreDifferent half-phantom]], for the longest amount of time in her existence Youma had been feared for her reputation as a [[AxCrazy demonic killer]] [[OmnicidalManiac with no regard for human life]]. All that changed when a powerful priestess subdued the half-phantom and [[SealedEvilInACan imprisoned her within a scroll]], which eventually ended up in the Hyakuji shrine somewhere in the present and subsequently freed by [[MagicKnight Meglumar]], [[BattleButler Seth]] and [[SufficientlyAdvancedAlien the]] [[Series/DoctorWho Doctor]]. With some tutelage from [[{{Ojou}} Selene]] [[FunctionalMagic on the basics of magic]], Youma ended up being bound to Seth by means of a [[VisualNovel/FateStayNight Servant-Master Contract as a Saber class servant]].

----
* BreakTheCutie: Youma's entire backstory pre-Hyakuji is practically made of this trope.
* BurnTheWitch: What her adopted family tried on her when they learned of her immortality.
%%* CloudCuckooLander
* CombatPragmatist: Her standard approach is to simply go straight for the kill; no PreAssKickingOneLiner, InTheNameOfTheMoon speeches, or fancy pose-downs. But then again, when you've spent a good part of your existence putting up with EverythingTryingToKillYou, rules of engagement and anything regarding honor in combat is probably something you quickly learn to toss out through the window.
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: More of "Crouching Cloud Cuckoo Lander, Hidden Badass".
* DisproportionateRetribution: [[BerserkButton Upset her or her friends in any way]], and you're ''dead''. See MurderIsTheBestSolution below; this girl has no understanding of "proportional response" or use of appropriate levels of force.
%%* DualWielding
* EverythingTryingToKillYou: An integral part of her backstory, and pretty much a FreudianExcuse that justifies her current behavior.
* {{Expy}}: Of Konpaku Youmu of Touhou fame.
* KatanasAreJustBetter: Justified in that said katanas are supernatural in origin, and that she ''is'' Japanese afterall.
* MeaningfulName: Youma is a Japanese word for "demon", and she lives up to every single bit of it.
* MurderIsTheBestSolution: Her most common approach to a problem.
%%* OlderThanTheyLook
* OmnicidalManiac: Back during her worst days she pretty much killed anyone who so much as looked at her the wrong way - men, women and children alike. She's [[RetiredMonster mellowed out since]], although not by much and perhaps only so because Seth is [[TheKidWithTheLeash holding her morality chain]].
* RetiredMonster: While not ''quite'' as AxCrazy as she was 700 years ago, it had less (who am I kidding? More like nothing) to do with her [[HeelFaceTurn becoming reformed]] but simply because in modern times she no longer has to deal with [[EverythingTryingToKillYou everyone trying to kill her]]. [[BerserkButton Mess with her however]], [[DisproportionateRetribution and you]] ''[[PayEvilUntoEvil will]]'' learn she didn't earn her title of ''[[TheDreaded The Calamity Demon]]'' for nothing. Also evident in that she showed no remorse over her past killings, and can casually (even seeming somewhat proudly) talk about her bloodstained personal history with friends.
%%* SealedEvilInACan
* SociopathicHero: With more emphasis on the "sociopath" part, and the hero part coming in only due to Seth's influence.
* ThenLetMeBeEvil: Overlapping with NotHelpingYourCase in her backstory - due to her immortality every family that adopted her eventually came to view her as a demon rather than a human being and as such, [[WhatMeasureIsANonHuman tries to kill her]]. The second attempt on her life pushed her past the brink, to what essentially can be summed up as "screw it, you think I'm a demon? Then I shall be the [[AxCrazy most vengeful]] [[OmnicidalManiac and bloodthirsty demon]] ever to walk the face of the earth!" And thus did she earn her title as ''The Calamity Demon'', and with each report of carnage left in her wake, her reputation as evil incarnate grew, which led to more people trying to hunt her down, thus leading to more deaths... you can see where this eventually led to.
* TranquilFury: Youma is unnaturally calm in combat, cutting down opponents in silence [[TheStoic without much of an expression]]. But then again, when you've spent a good part of your immortal existence living with EveryThingTryingToKillYou and in response slashing a bloody path right through them [[ItGetsEasier you learn to not think too much about it]].
* {{Tsundere}}: Is this towards Seth.
* TheDreaded: During her days as ''[[NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast The Calamity Demon]]''.
* TheUnfettered: Manifests itself through her CombatPragmatist philosophy. Youma tends to have no [[ThouShaltNotKill inhibitions regarding use of lethal force]], having no concept of (and seemingly incapable of understanding the concept of) [[DisproportionateRetribution proportionate response]]. But then again, it was the [[HumansAreTheRealMonsters very people who took her in at first who made her into who she is]].
* WhatTheHellHero: Gets called out by her more morally-sound compatriots but most often [[NiceGuy Seth]] whenever she steps out of line.

WIP

----
* AwesomeButImpractical: His transformation makes him much more dangerous, but he can't carry that many pixels without preparing.
* AxCrazy: If he uses Glitch Pixels for his Bit Hero transformation.
* BerserkButton: Nietzsche in general and all that she encompasses. Enough for him to completely lose his moral compass in the Kingdom plot.
* DeadlyUpgrade: His Glitch Pixels when used in conjunction with bit hero make him more than a bit crazy. Add to that the ability to remove the restrains on all his pixels and he can blow up an entire town with relative ease.
* FreakLabAccident: Because of the videogame he created, it sent him into a coma and gave him his powers.
* GlassCannon: His pixels allow him to blast concrete if he uses enough of them, but due to being gaming all day, he is slow and weak.
* HeroicBSOD: Almost thoroughly broken after having destroyed an entire city, it may have been just an illusion however. Also a minor one when Sayuri rejected him.
* JadeColoredGlasses: Compare his first Graduation Game attitude of not wanting to kill anyone to his second GG where he can be summarized as "Will ty to keep as many as I can from dying, but if someone has to, tough luck."
* LightningBruiser: Bit Hero mode increases his physical attributes exponentially, leading him to this.
* ParentalNeglect: He literally did not speak a word to his parents for years while living in the same house.
* TheStoic: His behavior after many witch games approaches this.
* UnscrupulousHero: Most of the time he tries to do some form of good, now if that good has to do with witches, mowing down a town's worth of people in a mecha may not be exactly a high price to pay.

!!Sena Ryouga

-> "[[FantasticRacism I hate]] [[BewareTheSuperman powers]]"

--> '''Role played by''': Fin

'''Overview''': Younger sister of now-renowned hero of Hyakuji Seth Ryouga, who grew up leading a mostly normal life in Tokyo's Sumida district, who didn't let her older brother's transfer to Hyakuji get her down too much. Until the events of Season 5, when the city was plunged into chaos thanks to the machinations of the Four Heavenly Kings. After doing some extensive investigations into the incident, she decided that the ExtranormalInstitute had a role to play in all this mess, and moved there, determined to do something about it.

----

* BadassBystander: As of her most recent appearance in the second Hyakuji Movie event.
* BadassNormal: [[AvertedTrope Averted]]; she may be intellectually and athletically gifted, but to date she has had no actual experience with combat situations.
* ComesGreatResponsibility: The (perceived) absence of this trope is the main cause of her negative view towards supers.
* DareToBeBadass: Received one from Kell during the attack on the shopping mall. It backfired spectacularly, see FreakOut below.
* FantasticRacism: Basically her attitude towards all individuals with powers, overlapping with BewareTheSuperman. And she doesn't really care whether they're "heroes" or "villains" - [[SmugSuper in her eyes they are all equally insufferable]].
* FreakOut: Suffered a minor case during the mall attack, leading to her WhatTheHellHero speech, below.
* NobleBigot: Is generally an all-around nice and decent person who believes in doing what's right, but has an extremely prejudiced ([[FreudianExcuse albeit not entirely unfounded]]) bias against supers.
* OrdinaryHighSchoolStudent: Is exceptionally bright, but is otherwise ordinary in every way.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: During the attack on the shopping mall during the second movie event.
* SmugSuper: What she fundamentally sees ''every'' super as.
* [[UnfazedEveryman Unfazed Everygirl]]: Inverted; the activities of supers invariably get on her nerves regardless of their intent.
* WhatTheHellHero: Delivers a rather harsh one during the attack on the mall, which also overlaps with TheReasonYouSuckSpeech, aimed at supers.
* WithGreatPowerComesGreatInsanity: Thinks that every super has their screws loose in one way or another; either a SmugSuper, DrunkWithPower, or more likely than not, both.

!! Shirena "Kage" Nikishima

[[caption-width-right:200:''[--(In-game Depiction)--]'']]

'''Overview:''' A pyromancer in Hyakuji High, born with his powers and was swiftly [[ParentalAbandonment abandoned by his mother]] at the tender age of three when his powers were made known, leaving his father to single-handedly bring him up, although his father was far more accepting of his nature due to having been raised and educated in Hyakuji. Much of his life to date was spent learning how to use and harness his powers in a safe and practical manner. Friendly, but somewhat shy in terms of disposition, he's usually not one to take center stage, although having found a spot in the student council as Heleth's right hand man all of that appears set to change. How things might go for him, only time will tell...
----

* TheChessmaster: Played with, as, while naive typically, he has his moments of intelligence beyond the normal capacity expected. He also has a fond love of chess.
* ExtremeDoormat: Tends to avoid the spotlight and taking initiative, but appears to be gradually diminishing as he undergoes CharacterDevelopment.
* FantasticRacism: Where he was raised, the [[{{Muggles}} common folk]] tend not to be very receptive towards people with powers.
* GeniusDitz: Has occasional displays of ditziness mixed with moments of brilliance.
* NiceGuy: Is an all-around agreeable and friendly guy. [[BewareTheNiceOnes But don't make him mad, though.]]
* ObliviousToLove: Tends to not notice forms of affection typically, unless told they are so, to the annoyance of his {{Love Triangle}}.
* ParentalAbandonment: Was abandoned by his mother in his backstory at the age of three when his powers were discovered, leaving his father to raise him singlehandedly.
* PingPongNaivete: Easily trusts people, but has also been known to be [[AwesomeByAnalysis very observant]] and capable of picking up details that others might easily miss.
* PlayingWithFire: As a [[WhateverMancy pyromancer]], that is basically his main power.
* RocketJump: Can do this by creating a non-lethal exploding fireball beneath his feet to launch himself into the air.
* ShrinkingViolet: A rare male example, but also a rather mild case compared to most typical examples of said trope.
* SweetTooth: Likes [[BrandX unbranded sodas]].
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: Has a phobia of water. He's slowly learning to [[FightOffTheKryptonite overcome it]], though.

----

!!Rikina Tauwit
->Insert memorable quote here.

-->Role Played by: Tzauri

'''Overview:''' Daughter of a [[OurElvesAreDifferent Drow couple]] that took up residence among humans in an unspecified American city, Rikina's family had the misfortune of living in a [[WretchedHive bad neighborhood in the city that was rife with crime]], and news of criminal activities like muggings, racketing and gang activity was pretty much part and parcel of everyday life for the young Drow during her formative years. After seeing how [[AdultsAreUseless adults like her parents seemed to allow all sorts of lowlifes to walk all over them on a regular basis]], [[PoliceAreUseless and how the authorities seemed to be generally doing a poor job at keeping crime rates down]], she took it upon herself to help them out by dispensing [[ScrewTheRulesImDoingWhatsRight her own brand of]] [[VigilanteMan frontier justice]], beginning her vigilante stint at the [[EnfantTerrible tender young]] [[KidsAreCruel age of nine]]. After several years of honing her skills at hunting down lowlifes, she eventually came to hear of Hyakuji High, and went to enroll in the Japanese ExtranormalInstitute, in part to further improve upon her fighting skills, and in other part to bring her frontier justice to that particular city's criminal populace.

----

* AntiHero: Is genuinely sweet and friendly towards most people, but is absolutely ruthless towards criminals.
* AssholeVictim: As far as she's concerned, everyone she's tortured and/or slain is one of these, and fully deserved what they got.
* BloodKnight: Overlaps with BoisterousBruiser as she gleefully springs into combat, with seemingly no regard for her own safety or well-being; she averts TheBerserker however, since she remains a cunning tactician and is far from reckless.
* ChildProdigy: Could be seen as one from the way she's essentially adopted a SelfMadeMan approach to becoming a vigilante, entirely relying on her own resources and capabilities. Including, but not limited to:
** Breaking into her parents' gun cabinet by memorizing the lock's combination just by watching.
** Teaching herself how to use Mercy and Compassion in battle by watching knife-fighting technique demonstrations on the internet, and likewise also teaching herself how to use her parents' gun.
* CombatPragmatist: Part of the package; afterall, why should one follow any rules when dealing with people who don't play by any rules to begin with?
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: Tends to be [[GenkiGirl very cheerful]], [[TheDitz if somewhat]] [[CloudCuckooLander airheaded]] during her day-to-day interactions. But as a vigilante she's a shrewd tactician and [[CombatPragmatist dirty fighter]].
* CruelMercy: Her SignatureWeapon, Mercy and Compassion are enchanted in such a way that unless a fatal wound is inflicted the target generally bleeds only a little while feeling all the pain of the wounds. Which suits her fine, seeing how it means she is able to prolong her ColdBloodedTorture sessions.
* DesignatedHero: From a meta perspective Rikina counts as one. Her methods of enforcing put her into the realm of a NominalHero at best, but in her own eyes she views herself as an IdealHero.
* EnfantTerrible: Scored her first kill at the age of ''nine'', and [[SarcasmMode it only gets better]] from there.
* GoodIsNotSoft: She doesn't share Kell's [[JerkAss antisocial disposition]] and HairTriggerTemper; on the contrary seemed to be a pretty nice and friendly person. If you are innocent, that is.
* IronicName: Her SignatureWeapon is a pair of daggers named "Mercy" and "Compassion". They were named so because their original owner, also a vigilante had a strict personal code to [[ThouShaltNotKill never take a life]].
* ItGetsEasier: [[SubvertedTrope Subverted]]; her first kill, made at the age of ''nine'' was described in her backstory as being made "in cold blood". And the rest, as they say, is history.
* KnightTemplar: To put it in the motto of The Hanging Judges, "Justice, Whatever the Cost".
%%* LittleMissBadass
* PayEvilUntoEvil: Essentially the backbone of her philosophy as a vigilante.
* PragmaticHero: Can be thought of as an idealist who's willing to use cynical means to achieve her idealistic ends.
* ScrewTheRulesImDoingWhatsRight: Effectively uses this as a justification for her methods of enforcing frontier justice.
* SmitingEvilFeelsGood: She definitely seems to enjoy what she's doing. A swift death to evildoers is considered an act of mercy on her part, and she's capable (and happy to) doing far worse, and thus far hasn't lost any sleep over it.
* TaughtByExperience: She's never trained under a mentor, instead picking up her skills and combat smarts as she goes along her vigilante career.
* TautologicalTemplar: While she never says it outright, many a times her actions and words seem to imply that she regards herself as being always in the right by virtue of being "one of the good guys".
* WhatMeasureIsANonHuman: There are people, and then there are criminal scum. And no, these two are not one and the same in her book.

Misora Fujioka is a shy, if fairly quirky, half-zombie student at Hyakuji High School. After her mother was bitten by a zombie while pregnant with her, Misora was born as a human-zombie hybrid. In an attempt to understand the condition she was in, her parents sent her to [[FantasyKitchenSink Hyakuji]] [[WorldOfWeirdness City]].
----
* CostumeInertia: Misora's [[TransferStudentUniforms Transfer Student Uniform]]; after having spent no less than a full semester in Hyakuji she'd have realistically acquired Hyakuji High uniforms of her own. But WordOfGod from her roleplayer says that her old uniform has become something of an IconicOutfit [[AuthorAppeal in his eyes]], thus is still frequently wearing it in lieu of the standard Hyakuji uniform. And on the symbolic side of things, it also represents her FishOutOfWater nature; [[StrangerInAStrangeSchool personality-wise]] [[OrdinaryHighSchoolStudent a normal girl]] in an ExtranormalInstitute, and often feeling rather out-of-place at times amidst all the supernatural hijinks and looming apocalypse events.
* FrozenFace: Regardless of what she is feeling, she never shows any expression beyond a neutral, expressionless face. Which can sometimes cause her to get mistaken for an EmotionlessGirl.
%%* HalfHumanHybrid
* TheImmune: Immune to zombie plagues.
* MadeOfIron: Is immune to pain and can NoSell attacks that would've crippled or killed normal humans due to her unusual physiology.
* NiceGuy: What she really is behind her FrozenFace.
%%* OurZombiesAreDifferent
* PintSizedPowerhouse: Displays limited amounts of SuperStrength despite her small and [[MusclesAreMeaningless slender]] frame.
* ShoutOut
** Her backstory makes references to the storyline of VideoGame/DeadIsland.
** The circumstances behind her birth is a not-so-subtle parody of Film/{{Blade|Trilogy}} from Marvel Comics.
** Her ''"Mrh?"'' VerbalTic is a nod to the browser-based zombie MMORPG, VideoGame/UrbanDead.
** Her vegetarian diet as opposed to a diet of brains is also intended to be a spoof of ''VideoGame/PlantsVsZombies''.
** Often walks with a [[ZombieGait shuffling gait]] not unlike that of zombies in classic Creator/GeorgeARomero films.
* SpeaksFluentAnimal: Speaks Fluent Zombie]]
* TechnicallyLivingZombie: Somewhat inverted. She is a human with the biological functions of a zombie.
* TransferStudentUniforms: Transferred into Hyakuji High halfway through the first semester of high school back in Tokyo, and still wears the uniform from her previous school for quite some time.
* UnfazedEveryman: Unfazed Everygirl: Appears to be slowly developing into this type of character.

!!Kazuya Kuze

----
* AccidentalPervert: Fang Krios thinks he’s a pervert, at any rate.
* AwesomenessByAnalysis: Has the ability to memorize every detail of an object at a glance.
* BattleButler: In a sense, to Frederica Weiss. He does work for her family, and he worked at the MaidCafe during the SchoolFestival.
* CoolUncle: He was taken in by one after his father got sick. It was his uncle who completed his training in his family’s Creation Art, as well as pushed him into kendo.
* DeceasedParentsAreTheBest: Kazuya’s father died before his arrival at Hyakuji.
* HeirToTheDojo: To his branch of magic, anyway.
* ImaginationBasedSuperpower: Kazuya’s power set. Limited by the fact that he can’t create anything with moving parts.
* JackOfAllTrades: His training has given him the knowledge to be able to use most of the weapons he creates, or figure them out as he goes along.
* JapaneseDelinquents: A bit of a humorous example, Kazuya is slated to accidentally join Spike’s gang because he [[MyGodYouAreSerious thought Spike was joking.]]
* KendoTeamCaptain: Not quite the team captain, but his backstory identifies him as a former champion of his school kendo club.
* PhotographicMemory: Allows him to accurately copy objects.
* SchoolNewspaperNewshound: Is a member of the newspaper club, so is this by default.
* SpontaneousWeaponCreation: His power set allows for this.
* StepfordSnarker: Apparently hides his awkwardness around people using snark.
* SuperpowerfulGenetics: Kazuya’s powers run in the family. His father Touya was the 67th Master of their technique. After his death, Kazuya became the 68th.

[[caption-width-right:173: ''[--(In-game Depiction)--]'']]

----
* AmbiguousInnocence: She is incapable of feeling negative emotions, and is always cheerful. That also means guilt and sorrow are out of the question, even when she does things like bury people alive or betray her friends for a mere penny.
* ArmorPiercingQuestion: One of her specialties, though this has probably more to do with the fact that she feels no shame in asking questions that normal people wouldn't dare to ask out of fear of making themselves look stupid, and then somehow hitting the right buttons in the process.
* BewareTheSillyOnes: Lucid is a goofy idiot who sells ice cream. She also happens to be an amoral assassin that could and would shoot people out of the blue if it amused her. Turning your back to her is a bad idea if she doesn't like you.
* BlueAndOrangeMorality: She doesn't care for things beyond her benefactor or her own amusement. As she would put it, her priorities are Scarlett, fun, money, and then her friends. She wouldn't care if she was a slave or a free woman, as long as she could continue pursuing her interests in her own ways.
* BornLucky: This trope feels this is the only reason her FearlessFool tendencies hadn't somehow gotten her killed a dozen times over.
* BottomlessMagazines: As long as she sings, she can fire her shotgun infinitely.
* ChronicBackstabbingDisorder: Lucid suffers from this big-time, so long as she's paid for it beforehand.
* CloudCuckooLander: To the highest order. She's silly even in the worst of situations.
* CombatPragmatist: She doesn't have any rules when it comes to fights. She'd even use her comrades as body shields or bring her shotgun out against helpless people, if she felt like it.
* ConfusionFu: How she operates, all of the time.
* DeaderThanDead: Her strongest power, Finality. If she kills somebody, they die and stay dead. She is walking perma-death, essentially.
* DumbMuscle: Overlaps with PintsizedPowerhouse. Lucid is small, strong, and dumb as rocks.
* {{Expy}}: Personality-wise, she's basically an {{Expy}} of Mr. Blonde from ''Film/ReservoirDogs''.
* ImpossiblyCoolWeapon: ''Song powered ghost shotgun''.
* InsaneTrollLogic: That's her bread and butter, right there.
* ItAmusedMe: One of her main drives.
* KillerRabbit: Displays many surface traits associated with "cuteness", but once you get past her paper thin façade she is effectively this trope. (See ManicPixieDreamGirl below)
* KryptoniteFactor: Proto-Longinus is this to people who can't be killed normally. Even if they have to be killed in specific ways like staking or decapitation, the spears can ignore those requirements.
* ManicPixieDreamGirl: Lucid [[ThePollyanna plays many]] [[CloudCuckooLander of the]] [[GenkiGirl tropes associated]] with this archetype up to eleven, to the point she essentially seems like an [[RefugeInAudacity over-the-top]] parody of one. She displays many superficial traits associated with an [[TheCutie adorable personality]]; but her [[BlackComedy dark sense of humor]] [[TheUnfettered and complete]] [[TheSociopath lack of morals]] make her anything but adorable once you get past the sugar-coated exterior. Though WordOfGod from her creator states that the parody aspect [[DidntThinkThisThrough wasn't something he planned at the start]].
* MoralityChain: Her benefactor, Scarlett. It's recently demonstrated that she's about the only person that Lucid shows anything resembling genuine human affections and empathy towards.
* MoreDakka: Her usual method of fighting, as she has a fully automatic shotgun.
* MusicalAssassin: When she sings, bad things happen. Like her opening up on people with a song-powered shotgun.
* NothingPersonal: Lucid never holds grudges. Maiming and killing are just a thing that happen when she's on the job. In fact, it's as normal as breathing, in her opinion.
* ThePollyanna: She just can't seem to stop being happy.
* RefugeInAudacity: The other likely reason for Lucid to be able to get away with the stuff she pulls off; because no one in their right minds would ever imagine someone would dare to pull off stunts as crazy as hers.
* SpontaneousWeaponCreation: She can ''sing'' a shotgun into existence.
* StepfordSmiler: Type C (Unstable). Ultimately subverted however, since she makes next to no attempts to hide her insanity.
* UndyingLoyalty: To her benefactor.
* TheUnfettered: She doesn't hesitate to do whatever she wants to entertain herself, unless her benefactor's interests would be harmed by her doing so. Aside from that, everything is fair game.
* WhatIsEvil: Lucid doesn't get it, but she also doesn't care for any explanations. It's all the same to her.

A [[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventure Stand User]] from America, Joel grew up in a poor environment but always tried to make the best of it. Eventually, Joel's dad got a better job offer in Ohio and his family moved away as soon as they could. When he was fourteen, he was caught up in a museum robbery and after a robber with an itchy trigger finger shot his dad in the leg, Joel went ballistic and his Stand and it's abilities activated for the first time, freaking out the robbers and letting Joel save the day as a result. At first he was dubbed a hero, but as time went on his friends at school only saw him for his Stand, or what they perceived as strange abilities. Joel dropped out of school and they eventually moved to Hyakuji, Japan, spending the next two years home-schooled. Now ready to attend, Joel only hopes he will be accepted for who he is.
----
* BattleCry: His Stand can do this. Also, since the two have linked growth Joel uses's Meteora's voice for one, this combined with RapidFireFisticuffs.
--> "MORA! MORA!! MORA!! MORAAAA!!!"
* BloodKnight: His fight with [[BadassNormal Spike Ito]] seems to have awakened this side of him. Though, he denies it or is confused about it so far.
* BroughtDownToNormal: Realized from his battle with Spike that relying too much on his Stand wouldn't be the best idea, as he might fight someone who can neutralize it through their own Stand or some psychic ability. Starts using his own fists by the epilogue of the thread, never forgetting his fight with Spike. Also suggests in the aforementioned blog post that those who rely a lot on their powers pick up a special weapon, or some type of fighting style.
* {{Determinator}}: Despite Spike Ito having more experience than him due to being at Hyakuji longer, Joel keeps getting up to fight him, even fighting him on his own terms. The fight eventually stops and ends in a draw. Because it was a [[BloodKnight fight with no animosity]], the two tell each other stories from their lives and leave on good terms.
* FriendlyAddressPrivileges: Often invites people to call him [[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventure "JoJo"]] as a nickname.
* HumansAreSpecial: See blog post written IC by the author. He may have his doubts, but he believes that every Human on Earth matters, and that they should stand up for what they believe in.
* IJustWantToBeNormal: [[KidsAreCruel Things that happened during his middle school days]] have made him have some doubts about people. Wants to be accepted as a person, regardless of whether or not he has powers.
* ParanormalInvestigation: Has this as a hobby.
* PrecisionFStrike: "What in the actual fuck?!"
* RapidFireFisticuffs: Meteora can do this by default, Joel can do this because of the two's linked growth but has to build it up first by punching the air repeatedly until his fists move faster and faster.
* TemptingFate: When it comes to myths or legends, he's so interested in them he doesn't care what happens. He'll attempt to bust it without any hesitation at all.
* WorthyOpponent: Considers Spike Ito this, and looks up to him for his ability to fight without fear despite having no powers. Although, the cause for this may be because of [[IdiotHero reasons Joel hasn't figured out yet..]]

A Demon Hunter and magus-in-training from Britain, Cassandra tends to give most the first impression of one who's generally hard to get along with, being intensely competitive, acid-tongued and having a chip on her shoulder. 437* AncestralWeapon: Edelweiss, her [[{{Franchise/Nasuverse}} Mystic Code]].
* BeautyIsNeverTarnished: Averted. Her entire back is covered by a horrifying third degree burn which she goes to great lengths to hide.
* BodyguardingABadass: Landed a job as the bodyguard of Selene Frostfire, a magus whose bloodline traces back to [[TimeAbyss before the beginning of human history]]. Cassandra's bloodline traces back to, uh, about 20 years ago.
%%* BrokenBird
* ClusterBleepBomb: She tends to curse a lot, but when her anger was magnified due to a negative energy effect, over half of the post was censor bars.
%%* CombatPragmatist
* ComesGreatResponsibility: Invoked when Cass mentions how drawing her sword and attempting to take a life when her mind and judgement [[BrainwashedAndCrazy were clouded]] by the HatePlague was something that goes against everything she stood for.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: And how! And she blames her father as the cause of the family tragedy to led to things being what they are now.
%%* DeadpanSnarker
* DeathByOriginStory: Cass' mother, in the character's personal history.
%%* {{Determinator}}
* DontYouDarePityMe: Part of her personality states that in order to appear tough, Cass refuses to show signs of weakness, and goes as far as to push away those who offer to help her.
* DrivenToSuicide: Cass's mother in her backstory, as a result of receiving a bite from her vampiric archnemesis, chose to end her life while still human instead of suffering a FateWorseThanDeath by being turned into a vampire.
* DysfunctionalFamily: But it wasn't ''always'' that way, and it's not a stretch to assume they'd seen happier times.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: In Gym Class, Ryouma decided to try and force Cass and Seth to work together by firing a giant pinball at both of them, which would be nearly impossible for either of them to stop on their own. Cass stopped it on her own.
* EveryoneHasStandards: While hardly a nice person, Cass was still aware that she [[FaceHeelTurn nearly crossed]] [[MoralEventHorizon the line]] [[ThouShaltNotKill with her attempt to take a human life]], an action that she was genuinely regretful towards, so much so that she even placed a [[MagicallyBindingContract Self-Geas spell]] on herself with Seth as TheKidWithTheLeash, lest she loses control again.
* FlatWhat: Used quite often.
* HairTriggerTemper: It doesn't take much to set her off.
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: Gets it from a younger doppelganger of herself, using her own weapon during her BattleInTheCenterOfTheMind - albeit it wasn't so much of a battle but more of simply getting skewered while struggling with a HeroicBSOD state.
%%* JerkAss: What she seems to come across to many.
* MagicKnight: Being able to wield both sword and sorcery makes Cass qualify as one.
* ManaBurn: Her [[{{Franchise/Nasuverse}} Mystic Code]], the sword Edelweiss, is a 'Prana Well', an object that drains magical energy. Though because it drains a finite amount of magical energy through stabbing, powerful wizards will usually run out of blood before running out of mana. Not to mention that Cassandra herself being a magus makes it inconvenient at times.
* NeverBeHurtAgain: A major motivating force in her life ever since her family tragedy.
* ParentalAbandonment: The end result of CallingTheOldManOut, [[IMissMom holding him responsible for her mother's death]].

After a few adventures here and there (some of them involving hooking up with a boy thanks to tentacle noodle monster) and spanning other dimensions, the older of the two managed to regain a body and become a living person again.

They were also directly taken from ''VisualNovel/H2OFootprintsInTheSand'' and are almost clones right down to their names to the point where one could argue that their roleplayer just took them and changed a few things and didn't bother with originality. With that said, they've still managed to fit in well with the rest of Hyakuji. Well, as well as most characters do, anyway.

!! Tropes (still a work in progress):
%%* BackFromTheDead: Hinata after the Kingdom Hearts arc.
* BreathWeapon: Hinata's SHOOP DA WHOOP attack, which is mostly just used for comedic effect. Just recently though, she seems to have given it more [[VideoGame/TheElderScrollsVSkyrim practical applications]].
* ChivalrousPervert: Hinata will actively fight those who might try to harass other girls. In the meantime, she has cameras everywhere in the neighbor's room downstairs, and even trap doors with premise of protecting her boyfriend's little sister, and yes, even to watch over her two friends when they get close. ESPECIALLY when they get close.
* CloudCuckooLander and CloudcuckoolandersMinder: Hinata appears to be first one one in day to day situations, but is often shown to be full of HiddenDepths when the situation calls for her to act seriously. Hotaru tries to be the second one, but she seems to be eventually giving up on it now that Hinata has a body again. (Credit goes to Lawman for pointing this out)
* CuteClumsyGirl: Hotaru is this, just like her original character was. Hell, even her [[spoiler: Nobody Xaturoh during the Kingdom Hearts arc was safe from this - she kept screwing up the use of her darkness portals and always ended up everywhere except where she was supposed to be.]]
* FacePalm:
** Being in close proximity to Hinata will elicit this at some point. Hotaru has it worse, since she LIVES with her.
** In Damon's case, he did a DOUBLE FACEPALM when Hinata's self-depreciating description of herself prompted his elemental to ask what a pervert was.
* ForTheLulz: The reason why Hinata does everything else that isn't related to the thread she's in. Sometimes she'll even do this BECAUSE it's related.
* TheFourthWallWillNotProtectYou: There's a very big reason why their roleplayer got the WTF award. She even preempts readers sometimes. Related to {{Troll}} below.
* HammerSpace: Hotaru usually has this for comedic effect, usually to slap Hinata with a [[{{PaperFanOfDoom}} harisen]] (it used to be herself because Hinata's ghost could feel what Hotaru feels). Other times, it's to blow up the occasional AccidentalPervert like the one time she accidentally grabbed Hajime's... well... [[{{Double Entendre}} Elephant]]. She never uses it in actual combat though.
* HenshinHero and Franchise/KamenRider: Hinata was able to become two different Riders - the first time was as the sword form of [[Series/KamenRiderDenO Den-O]], then she and her sister became a [[Series/KamenRiderDouble single hero]] after the Kingdom Hearts arc.
* MarryThemAll: Even with Hinata now alive again, the two sisters seem to not mind if their relationship with Hajime ends up like this. One has to wonder how that would work whenever he's Hamaji though, but given Hinata's tendencies...
* {{Miko}}: Despite not having the uniform, Hotaru still uses [[{{PaperTalisman}} ofuda]] when dealing with supernatural elements, and even has the stick that goes with the profession.
* NoFourthWall: To keep things simple, Hinata always refers to the other dimensions she's been to as "other forums", and won't bother explaining why. She even banters with the [[{{InteractiveNarrator}} Narrator]] in [[http://hyakujihigh.net/single/?p=138939&t=1088264 THREADS SHE'S NOT EVEN IN.]]
-->'''Narrator:''' ''... What the hell am I doing!?'' she thought to herself as she did the female equivalent of what was known in dating circles as a complete coc - [[{{Lampshade Hanging}} wait, am I allowed to even say that here?]]
-->'''Hinata:''' "Probably not."
-->'''Narrator:''' ... Otoha, get back in the other threads, you're not supposed to be narrating here.
-->'''Hinata:''' "Psh, fine, I'll be waiting in that Arcadia mission thread if you ever get around to posting or something."
* RapidFireFisticuffs: Hinata's signature attack as a Stand. She still able to this when alive, though it's done less often now.
* ShoutOut: Every other thing Hinata talks about will reference something else in other media, much to the consternation of whoever she's talking to.
* SomeCallMeTim: Hinata was originally known as Otoha as a stand, and everyone still calls her that even when she was resurrected. She doesn't seem to mind, either. Some people still even make the mistake of calling Hotaru as Hinata.
* {{Troll}}: There's that [[http://hyakujihigh.net/single/?p=98300&t=697240 completely unrelated profile]] involving them for one. The [[Series/TheFreshPrinceOfBelAir music]] will automatically start playing in your head and you will invariably rage at her for it, and this is just ONE of the things she does to get a rise out of the READERS, much more so for the actual characters in the thread.

Descriptions: A daughter of the Amaranth family, whose members are Luchadors or Luchadoras by trade, as well as vigilantes who fight against criminals and supernatural entities as their family duty. Formerly a rebellious daughter who tried to run away from taking up the family responsibility, Kell's life was changed when she came back with her right arm being replaced by a wooden one, which possessed unknown powers that make it a formidable weapon against the supernatural, but also make her a potential danger owing to suspicions that the limb might take over her mind. It was for this reason she was sent to Hyakuji High, to learn how to become the master of her new powers and not the other way around.

----
* AntiHero: Seems to be a Type IV with occasional shades of Type V on her worse days, and Type III on her better days.
* TheAtoner: Their family tradition of being vigilante enforcers apparently started when one of her ancestors [[MyGreatestFailure shamed himself]] by [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere running away]] and leaving an innocent civilian to get killed by a demon. In order to atone for his actions, he started the family tradition of enforcing vigilante justice.
* BloodKnight: As far as Kell is concerned, if you're not an evil person to be hunted down, then chances are you're just someone annoying and in need of a good pounding. No matter how one looks at it, any time is [[ComicBook/FantasticFour clobbering time]] for Kell.
* CombatPragmatist: Kell isn't known for playing nice or fair in combat.
* GoodIsNotNice: Kell has this in spades; although to call her "good" might be pushing the envelope. If anything, she seems to be closer to ChaoticNeutral than any of the good alignments.
* HeterosexualLifePartners: With Rikina, a fellow vigilante and AntiHero.
* HeWhoFightsMonsters: Part of her feels that given her clan's [[KnightTemplar methods of enforcing]] [[PayEvilUntoEvil vigilante justice]] they are at times MirroringFactions to those they hunt.
* {{Jerkass}}: And a pretty egregious one at that.
* KnightInSourArmor: On her best days she seemed to be one of these, having ultimately noble goals, but lacking the idealism to believe in them.
* KnightTemplar: It's hinted from time to time that the entire clan operates on an extremely violent code of justice, and are not above delivering harsh punishments to their own when they go astray.
* MoralityChain: Her imaginary friend Cariot seems to play this role for Kell, often giving her (ignored) advice on believing in ThePowerOfFriendship and to learn to enjoy life a bit.
* PayEvilUntoEvil: Pretty much her modus operandi, it doesn't help either that the Amaranths' definition of "good" and "evil" [[BlueAndOrangeMorality are rather sketchy]] to begin with.
* YouCantFightFate: One of her greatest flaws is said to be her fatalism.

'''Overview:''' An American teenager with an unusual gift of CreatingLife out from death. First discovered his ability by pure accident in the aftermath of a road accident involving his family pet, whereby he found out he was capable of breaking down the flesh and tissues of recently-deceased animal life on touch into raw biomass, which he could then shape into new lifeforms and animate them. His experimentations involving his newfound abilities eventually caught the eye of the B.P.R.D., who took the boy under their wing and sent him to study in Hyakuji High to help him get better acquainted with his powers. But unknown to his custodians, the youth had his own plans and agendas.

* ArchEnemy: [[StatusQuoIsGod Hiro Tsukasa]], [[SelectiveEnforcement Lavender Smith]], [[AppealToForce Kotoka Youma]] and possibly more. And all for pretty [[ItsAllAboutMe selfish]] and [[EvilIsPetty petty]] reasons too.
* ArsonMurderAndJaywalking: Poaching local wildlife to harvest raw materials for his haemonculi brood, [[LesCollaborateurs conspiring]] [[DealWithTheDevil to exploit]] [[TheQuisling an apocalypse scenario for his own gain]] - [[ChronicBackstabbingDisorder twice]]... goes around heckling aspiring idol singers during their concerts, [[PokeThePoodle and spitting on the shoes of part-time models]].
* BioPunk: The overall character concept appears to heavily borrow many elements from said genre.
%%* BondCreatures
* CreatingLife: What his powers are all about.
* FaceHeelTurn: His [[ForScience obsessions]] appear to have caused him to become a MadScientist of sorts.
* ForScience: Appears to be his primary motivation for the most part.
* FourEyesZeroSoul: If one considers him as a villain.
* HiveMind: His creations are all linked together in this manner, although the alien nature of said HiveMind meant he was only able to meld with it for a limited amount of time. The creation of The Phylactery changed all of this however.
* HyperAwareness: Thanks to his MentalFusion with his utility haemonculi allowing him to [[BondCreatures "borrow"]] their SuperSenses, his awareness has been enhanced to the point that few details are capable of escaping his attention. This has [[MundaneUtility pretty much]] [[WithGreatPowerComesGreatPerks served as a]] [[DrunkOnTheDarkSide double-edged sword]], but not that he ever cared to admit it.
* {{Hypocrite}}: Despite being being grudgingly aware of the fact that PerfectionIsImpossible it certainly didn't stop him from acting like a total JerkAss towards others for their imperfections; imperfections that only he is capable of noticing. And in the latter example, his grudge against Lavender stemmed mostly from what he perceived as MoralMyopia induced SelectiveEnforcement on her part, even though he was [[MoralMyopia also guilty of the exact same thing]].
* InferioritySuperiorityComplex: Implied in his profile. For all the good his HyperAwareness did him he was also suggested to be painfully aware of his own flawed nature, and for that reason was said to be terrified at the notion of self-reflecting.
* IrrationalHatred: Towards "imperfections", even if said imperfections are visible only to him. He's willing to go through great lengths [[ForWantOfANail just to vent his displeasure towards the subject of his hate]], even if it's really more trouble than it's worth.
* JustThinkOfThePotential: His sentiments towards the plot devices at the end of seasons 4 and 5. He saw them as an invaluable opportunity to create a new world, and the option to instead [[StatusQuoIsGod preserve the status quo]] was something that left a bitter taste in his mouth.
* TheMaker: Spends most of his time outside of classes experimenting with his powers, harvesting raw materials to conduct research on creating improved breeds of his haemonculi.
* MixAndMatchCritter: His haemonculi tend to combine the physical attributes and appearances of two or more creatures, ranging from animals that exist in RealLife, to fantasy creatures.
* MoralMyopia: [[EvilIsPetty Held a grudge]] against Lavender Smith for what he perceived as a case of SelectiveEnforcement on her part when she ordered him to leave the premises of Chris' concert [[DoubleStandard while allowing]] Youma's attempts at getting an OrderedApology out of him [[AppealToForce over the threat of physical violence]] to slide. This was [[SelectiveObliviousness utterly ignoring]] the fact that A) he pretty much threw the first stone by not only jeering loudly at Chris but even insulting her in public, in front of all her friends and supporters; and B) Lavender had just seconds ago stepped in to [[ReasonableAuthorityFigure break up an imminent brawl]] between him and Youma, and C) he was pretty much making a public nuisance of himself by that point.
* MundaneUtility: Can give Ian Vaner a good fight when it comes to being Hyakuji's poster boy for said trope. Apparently, frequent usage of his powers has developed into [[DrunkOnTheDarkSide something akin to an addiction]], whereby his haemonculi's SuperSenses have all but replaced his human senses on a day-to-day basis, to the point that he [[BeingHumanSucks considers himself handicapped]] when forced to fall back on his human senses.
* NerdGlasses: Appears to be wearing these in his character portrait, although they are in reality a sophisticated HeadsUpDisplay. They also apparently serve to conceal the fact that he frequently sports EmptyEyes due to him not using them much, preferring to instead see the world through the [[SuperSenses enhanced eyes]] [[AnimalEyeSpy of his utility haemonculi]].
* OpportunisticBastard: Never passes up an opportunity to accrue more power for himself.
* SelectiveObliviousness: His haemonculi-enhanced senses seemingly never fail to pick up on any defects or flaws on humans and other mortal beings, but yet in his posts it's never stated if his senses could detect any flaws in the forms of supernatural entities (such as the fox spirit Senka and the ghost Saigyouji).
* TookALevelInJerkass: Really kicked off when he started getting addicted to using his powers, as his SuperSenses have warped his perceptions to the point that he became virtually impossible to please due to him being able to notice "imperfections" everywhere he went, which in turn also led to him becoming [[ThePerfectionist obsessed with the notion of perfection]].

Descriptions: [[OverlyLongName Salvatrice Tatiana Annalisa Rosabella Ricci]]. That is her full name, wielding the [[LightTheWay element of light]] as her power, Star lives up to her namesake by having a personality that's mostly [[GenkiGirl giggles and sunshin]], and an all-around fun person to hang around with. There's certainly [[MoreThanMeetsTheEye a lot more to her than meets the eye]] however, and she's certainly not without her dark moments. Not that one can tell at a casual glance, of course.

----
* ActionGirl: Recently she's overcome most of her issues, and gained a good deal of control over her powers, and for all intents and purposes has [[TookALevelInBadass taken levels in badass]]
* BattleCouple: With her boyfriend Meglumar, forming a [[HeroicFantasy Sword And Sorcery]] duo.
* BrokenAce: Beautiful, intelligent, and good with people, but often suffers from [[HeroicSelfDeprecation self-worth issues]] due to her [[PowerIncontinence inability to control]] the more potent aspects of her powers, which sometimes lead to her being [[TheLoad more of a burden]] [[FauxActionGirl than a help]]. But she [[StepfordSmiler hides all of these issues behind her smiles]] [[GenkiGirl and cheerful, energetic demeanor]].
* CursedWithAwesome: Being one-quarter Light Aeon makes her a natural prodigy compared to other photomancers, however all that power also [[PowerAtAPrice comes at a price]], namely a [[PowerIncontinence lack of control]], and when overtaxed [[SuperpowerMeltdown her own powers can literally consume her]].
* FromBadToWorse: Remember her PowerIncontinence? Unless she can find a way to somehow integrate her human and elemental side she can only expect to become more unstable the stronger she gets, and [[PowerDegeneration at her present rate of power development the light aeons estimate she might have but a year left]] before suffering an inevitable SuperPowerMeltdown unless [[TakeAThirdOption a miracle occurs]].
* GenkiGirl: Besides her outgoing and cheerful personality, Star is noted to tire a lot less slowly compared to normal humans, which is said to be due to the fact that solar energy actually energizes her.
* HalfHumanHybrid: More of one-quarter Light Aeon, but you get the picture.
* HardLight: Can generate this with her powers.
* HopeIsScary: Invoked in [[http://hyakujihigh.net/topic/4881460/1/ this topic]]. At this point Star felt that it would've been easier for her to simply become numb to the prospect of her [[YourDaysAreNumbered inevitable demise]], rather than to face the uncertainties of struggling to live, especially when it's unclear whether her struggles would make any difference or not.
* LightIsNotGood: One of the painful lessons Star learned is how destructive her elemental side can get when not kept in check.
* LightTheWay: Her power set is basically this.
* PowerDegeneration: Overlapping with SecretlyDying. Has actually been undergoing this since birth, although the PowerDegeneration was initially kept in check by a series of [[RestrainingBolt elemental seals]] placed upon her by Helios as well as the cross pendant mentioned below. However, with the seals broken and the way she has been [[TrainingFromHell forcefully taxing]] [[TimeToUnlockMoreTruePotential herself since then]], the process is actually ''[[FromBadToWorse accelerating]]'', and barring a miracle happening it would appear that a SuperPowerMeltdown [[DownerEnding is]] [[ForegoneConclusion inevitable]].
* PowerLimiter: The cross pendant worn around her neck, a gift from her mother, is actually a failsafe to guard against PowerIncontinence.
* RedOniBlueOni: Is the red Oni to her boyfriend Meglumar's blue.
* ASinisterClue: Star is left-handed. Although she appears to be cheerful and kind and an all around GenkiGirl, she definitely has her ruthless moments. Although she has [[ThouShaltNotKill never actually killed anyone]], it hasn't been for lack of trying. Star has used lethal force on numerous occasions, including during the TournamentArc against Valentine on the premise that she asked for it, and against a BrainwashedAndCrazy Seiichi. [[WordOfGod Chizu]] has confirmed Star as her most ruthless character before, despite her [[BewareTheNiceOnes sugary sweet]] personality, in part because while she normally subscribes to the standard idea of morality, her elemental side makes her see the world [[BlueAndOrangeMorality a little differently.]]
* SquishyWizard: Star isn't really one for trading blows with an enemy, and her favored tactic in battle is to engage from a distance.
* SugarAndIcePersonality: In 'sugar' mode most of the time, but drifts into 'ice' mode when sufficiently angered or when her elemental side comes into play (usually both).
* SupernaturalGoldEyes: A telltale sign that her elemental side is in control.
* SuperpoweredNeutralSide: When her elemental side takes over.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: The girly girl to Jen's tomboy.
* TookALevelInBadass: [[http://hyakujihigh.net/topic/4519525/1/#new This topic]]. That is all.

* WithGreatPowerComesGreatInsanity: When her elemental side takes over her mind Star's [[SuperMode destructive potential rises geometrically]], but at the price of not being able to tell apart friend from foe and a near-complete [[TheUnfettered lack of inhibitions]], lashing out on sheer instinct and posing a danger to both friend and foe alike. Also [[CantArgueWithElves continues to hold the notion]] that PunyHumans are well, puny, despite having witnessed a lot of them wielding all manner of MagicAndPowers.
* BerserkButton: [[HairTriggerTemper Has quite a number of these]], but chief among them is that us PunyHumans constantly [[HumansAreMorons fail to recognize]] [[HigherTechSpecies her]] [[SuperiorSpecies superiority]] and give her her due respect.
* BloodKnight: Is fond of using combat to prove her superiority and put [[HumansAreMorons foolish humans]] in their place.
* TheBusCameBack: Was [[PutOnABus retired into NPC status]] early in Season 4, and has remained so until late into Season 5, when her creator decided to bring her back as a player character.
* ChildProdigy: Is considered this even by the standards of her HigherTechSpecies, subsequently winning her her civilization's equivalent to our Nobel Prize when she was merely in her teens for making groundbreaking inventions.
* CloudCuckooLander: Sorta qualifies, by virtue of being [[HumanAlien not human]] and having NoSocialSkills Vale often fails to catch (as in, it makes no sense to her) certain cultural trends and behavioral patterns that we tend to take for granted.
* DeadpanSnarker: So much so that she could even give ''Deus'' a run for his money in that department.
* DisproportionateRetribution: Her response to any slight suffered at the hands of a human, real or imagined - no matter how small it is, is to demand they make amends immediately whilst ''making death threats''. [[SarcasmMode Nope,]] [[MoralMyopia nothing disproportionate about that at all!]]
* EmotionlessGirl: Subverted; Vale possesses a perfectly normal range of emotions that any normal human can easily identify with, it's just that when around human characters her range of emotional displays are pretty much limited to boredom and indifference combined with a barely-hidden disdain (default), outright rage, and occasionally - an arrogant smirk.
* FightsLikeANormal: [[JustifiedTrope Justified]] in that she has no KiManipulation, [[WhateverMancy Elemancy]], FunctionalMagic and other flashy stuff.

* HairTriggerTemper: Made worse by having NoSocialSkills, which means that she can flare up even over harmless attempts at social interaction due to her mistaking well-intentioned acts as [[EverythingIsRacist provocations]].
* HumanAlien: Practically indistinguishable from us appearance-wise, but don't ''ever'' [[BerserkButton mistake her as one of us]], but how are we supposed to know?
%%* HumanOutsideAlienInside
* ImmortalImmaturity: Despite being [[ReallySevenHundredYearsOld Really Two Thousand Years Old]], and a ChildProdigy GadgeteerGenius, her reasoning capacity and opinions are not too unlike that of a typical 15-year old, which was supposedly the same age at which she gained her [[TheAgeless immortality]].
* {{Immortality}}: Was made into a Type II (i.e. TheAgeless) as a reward for her contributions.
* JerkAss: [[SubvertedTrope Subverted. Less of an actual douche]], and more of having NoSocialSkills and possibly combined with ValuesDissonance, doesn't make her any more pleasant to deal with, though.
%% Type Labels Are Not Examples * JerkJustifications: Easily of the Type 2 variety.
* LittleMissSnarker: [[SubvertedTrope Subverted]], she's [[OlderThanTheyLook older than she looks]] at being [[ReallySevenHundredYearsOld really two thousand years old]].
* NobleBigot: [[AlternateCharacterInterpretation Alternatively]], she might really be closer to this than an actual JerkAss.
* OlderThanTheyLook: Is [[ReallySevenHundredYearsOld Actually 2000 Years Old]], but has remained a teen for nearly two millenia by virtue of being TheAgeless.
* TheRightOfASuperiorSpecies: Played mostly straight in her attitude towards human characters (that is to say, 90% of the cast), but her interactions with [[Series/DoctorWho The Doctor]] have shown that when [[MoralMyopia dealing with members of species that she considers to be equal or superior to her own, she has been shown to be capable of far more gracious conduct]].
* SuperiorSpecies: No doubt sees herself as a member of such especially when compared to us PunyHumans, although there's a certain amount of {{Irony}} to it considering the only power she has going for her is {{Immortality}} and high-tech gadgetry, which doesn't seem much when stacked against the other stuff the rest of the town's populace has on display.
* TooDumbToLive: Seems to hold the opinion that humans (save for a few) are a very embodiment of this trope.
* YouAreACreditToYourRace: Vale seems fond of (though more likely, [[NoSocialSkills she just]] [[ValuesDissonance doesn't know better]]) using the actions of individuals as a basis for her judgement of their entire race.

* MortalityEnsues: Due to his demonic power being stripped from him, it turns out the one non-demonic part about him was also taken from him. Kazerou was a Phoenix demon and thus dying was never an option. Now it's perfectly valid and he can be killed easily. Lucky he has that rider gear.
* NewPowersAsThePlotDemands: He's been a Demon, an alternate version of Kamen Rider Chalice called Neo-Chalice and now currently has the powers of Kamen rider Spirit. The only power that saw any sort of progression was Neo-Chalice and even then it was merely a form change.

* SupremeChef: Kazerou wants to be a professional chef. While he can cook, his downfall is that he doesn't cook for himself and needs someone around to motivate him to cook for him as well.

* ExtremeDoormat: While his behavior suggests otherwise. Jack has zero self worth. He finds a great deal of meaning in being useful to others and finds it hard to say no to requests asked of him.
* GameFace: Can cause his pupils and canines to enlarge as well as turning his hands and feet into claws.
* ItAmusedMe: The motivation for most of his actions. If Jack thinks doing something would be entertaining, then he will most likely do it.[[NiceGuy Unless his actions cause harm to others of course.]] Unlike most users of this trope, Jack would never have fun at the expense of someone else getting seriously hurt.
* JumpedattheCall: Was overjoyed when he became a Lycan and he has a tendency to jump into situations that he finds exciting.
* Lunacy: The full moon causes both his powers and mental state to go wild.
* MagicPants: Played with. His clothes transform into a collar whenever he transforms.
* MeaningfulName: Argent means silver in French and he's a half-French werewolf.
* MorphicResonance: His beast forms are black-haired, similar to himself
* NiceGuy: Genuinely kind-hearted to nearly everyone he meets.
* ObfuscatingStupidity: His RPer does enjoy leaving Jack's level of intelligence ambiguous. So this trope may be in effect. He occasionally slides back and fourth from a shrewd intelligence to babbling fool.
* OurWerewolvesAreDifferent: Lets see; The touch of silver turns him back to a normal human, Wolfsbane is toxic to him and the full moon causes him to lose control of his transformation as well as becoming more aggressive.

* VoluntaryShapeshifting: Can transform into either a large black wolf or a eight foot tall classical werewolf.

Self proclaimed as the fastest boy alive, and hailing from the United Kingdom. Jonny sticks out a bit from other characters in that the weird and fantastic was not a daily part of his life before turning up in Hyakuji, and was the only superpowered being he was even aware of before then.

He's transitioned into life at Hyakuji fairly well, and an open mind means he isn't completely caught off guard by things as might typical of someone with his origins (or lack thereof). Typically a NiceGuy, his manners have actually saved his life on a few occasions.

----
* AccidentalPervert: Noted by himself and others for having some ''horrendous'' luck. Its gotten him the in-universe nickname of [[EmbarrassingNickname 'Jon-ecchi']].
* ArtifactOfDoom: At one point may have come into posession of one, depending on whether or not it was recently made, or summoned up. Read DealWithTheDevil.
* BerserkButton: Don't mess with his friends, don't mess with innocent people, and don't mess with Hyakuji High school.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: On the surface, a polite - if not at times clumsy - foreign lad, who'll try and make friends if he can. Has also assaulted over a thousand people when driven insane, and generally is more than willing to kick the ass of villains that cross his path.
* BoxingLessonsForSuperman: Well, close enough. Jen's taken to sparring with Jonny and showing him some martial arts techniques.
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: Sorta. See DealWithTheDevil, KnightTemplar and MoreThanMindControl below.
* CameraFiend: Part of the school's journalism club, though that seems to have faded out of the active game.
* CurbstompBattle: His first major fight pretty much ended this way. With him losing, mind you. Inversely, he's managed to score a few, though only when he's pissed off enough to not care about holding back on an opponent.
%%* CursedWithAwesome: Semi-literally.
* DealWithTheDevil:
** Or rather, the Demon Lord. He summoned up ''Pazuzu'' (by random, no less), hoping to get more power so he could fight tougher bad guys, and protect his friends. The item he received wass noted as being [[TheCorruption cursed]] [[HeelFaceTurn making the user]] [[KnightTemplar obsessed about the concept of justice]] [[DrunkontheDarkSide the more they use its spell]]. Given that Pazuzu is a deity dating back to ancient Babylonian times, this was not the nice kind of justice.
** Part of his regular power set, given that he can summon and make contracts with demons. Though its largely offscreen due to impracticality in combat, and having originally kept it secret.
* {{Determinator}}: Jonny's not one for giving up, having pressed on through getting stabbed through the chest, suffering pain equivalent to a laser through his brain, and somehow forged a weapon out of sheer will and desperation. On the other hand, this doesn't always work out for him.
* DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu: Tried it on the island sized Mu, didn't quite work. Shot Kiryu out of existence though, after the man had turned himself into a force of [[EldritchAbomination living entropy]].
* DyingDeclarationOfLove: What his 'its not stupid to protect the ones you love' spiel arguably could have arguably been, if he was talking romantically. Lampshaded for ''really'' not being the best time.
* {{Expy}}:
** Only admitted to have been based on ComicBook/TheFlash, and it shows. Red colour scheme, super speed, seems to have been struck by lightning, a nice person... he's since gotten more aspects to his character.
** He's become one of ''other'' characters. Most prominent was [[Anime/CodeGeass Suzaku Kururugi]], given they were both brown haired boys with abnormal physical ability, believe in doing good though through some questionable means, and have a pink haired girl as a potential love interest. It was so uncanny it prompted an appearance change.
* FlashStep: Occasionally utilized, such as when he fought another speedster, but doesn't pop up too often.
%%* FragileSpeedster: Played with. Jonny himself is physically speaking just an athletic teenager, and will still very much take damage, getting him to actually acknowledge it enough to stop what he's doing is a different matter. That being said, the damage he has from wounds ''will'' eventually get to him, as there's not much arguing with your body when it literally cannot continue.
* FreudianSlip: If he hasn't gone and landed himself in some [[NotWhatItLooksLike compromising position]], this has probably happened.
* GlassCannon: Jonny can hit ''hard'' if he wants to. Its just taking hits in turn can be something of a problem.
* TheHero: Won the [[VideoGame/FinalFantasyVII 'Zack Fair']] award, which is for the most heroic character.
* HonorBeforeReason: Played straight due to his status as TheHero, almost to the point of appearing as TheFettered. Inverted in Justice RAEG however, when he underwent a FaceHeelTurn and became TheUnfettered.
* KnightTemplar: In the Justice RAEG plotline, he became utterly obsessed over Justice, and more specifically, bringing it down on the 'Red Lions' criminal organisation. Anyone who didn't help or stay out of his way, he was more than willing to pummel, leading to over a thousand innocent people hurt by his hands.
* LightningCanDoAnything: Implied to be the origin of his powers, though its not actually stated outright.
* MarshmallowHell: Suffered(?) this when Cerium 'rewarded' him for getting her handbag back from a thief.
* MegaManning: Sorta inverted. One of his abilities is sharing his powers with other people, giving them the same abilities, until he either gets too tired to continue, or takes them away.
* MoreThanMindControl: What Pazuzu eventually did to him, culminating in the Justice RAEG plot. Whilst not a typical example in that Pazuzu himself did not actually ''ask'' Jonny to do anything directly, he effectively turned the kid into an insane criminal, by choice. The point was brought up by Youma, and part of why Jonny is even a free man is determining to what degree his normal moral faculties would have allowed his actions.
* OfficialCouple: After ''ages'' and a season finale, Jonny finally confessed his feelings to Selene. Time will tell how successful the relationship is.
* OrdinaryHighSchoolStudent: Says that with more people around him with powers, he has actually felt more like this in Hyakuji than at home.
* OutOfTheInferno: Done by transforming into none other than ''[[Series/BakuryuuSentaiAbaranger AbaRed!]]''
* NotWhatItLooksLike: A RunningGag at this point. You could get drunk taking a shot for each time it happens.
* PhotographicMemory: A side effect of his high speed perception abilities.
* PowerGlows: Jonny's 'speed aura', which appears in the usage of his powers, and particularly as he goes higher with them.
* PowerTrio:
** When piloting Hyakuzor, he forms one with Katy and Seth.
** Forms a second one with Star and Damon.
** And with Deus and Emiko, though as friggen ''Franchise/SuperSentai''. Add Bran to make it a quadruple.
* RightForTheWrongReasons: What his deduction about how a drug ended up Cerium's bag turned out to be. But then, how was he supposed to know it was dropped by accident, rather than on purpose?
* ShipTease: For a long time he was teased with a number of characters, most prominently Selene and Yuki.
* SuperSpeed: His theme, as far as powers go. Has some, but not all, of the required secondary powers.
* SummonMagic: Specifically, he can summon demons, having memorised a spell from class.
* TakingTheBullet: Took the Living Sword for Selene, to protect her from [[Manga/BlackCat Creed]].
* ThouShaltNotKill: One of Jonny's biggest rules for himself. Gets a bit troublesome when one considers how dangerous his powers are, and that he doesn't immediately know where the fine line on how much an enemy can take is.
* TrueCompanions: Mainly with Yuki, Selene, and Seth.
* WillTheyOrWontThey: With Selene. So far looking like [[RelationshipUpgrade they do]].

* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: During one of the many Arcadia related missions, Hajime was impaled in the back out through to his chest by several solidified blood spikes.
* LaserGuidedAmnesia: His appearance and the subsequent trope he runs with during the Kingdom Heart Crisis arc, forgetting all about his life prior to it, and he only knows his name from his student ID.
* NamedWeapons: As a Kamen Rider, he has several of them.1
* OrdinaryHighSchoolStudent: Tried to run with this at first, but by later seasons everyone knows that he’s anything but.

'''Overview:''' Daughter of a Japanese karate instructor for a dad and an Italian doctor for a mom, Aya lived a pretty normal life until she turned twelve when she was introduced by her mother to a self-cultivated form of power known as "Metabolic Control", allowing the user to gain superhuman ability by accelerating their biological function, namely their metabolism. When her mother was transferred to Japan, Aya also moved as well, where she found education in Hyakuji High, involving herself in the various adventures and misadventures while also trying to live a regular schoolgirl life.

----

* AmbiguouslyBrown: Averted. Her darkened complexion is purely the result of going for frequent tans, which she happens to enjoy. The one time a botched teleport bleached her of her tanned complexion she was clearly not pleased with it.
* ActionGirl: Can throw down with the best em'.
* BerserkButton: Whatever you do, don't land any spittle on her shoes...
* BattleStrip: Discards her Yukata during the Konosuba Festival, though she has a perfectly functional and non-fanservicey sports bra and shorts underneath.
* BoisterousBruiser: Whenever she's in her accelerated state using her powers.
* CharlesAtlasSuperpower: Her ancestors in her mother's bloodline discovered the secrets of metabolic control, and have passed down said discipline since the middle ages. Her profile doesn't exactly elaborate on whether said abilities can be developed by anyone as long as they get the proper training, or that it purely runs in the family via SuperpowerfulGenetics.
* ClothingDamage: Unlike most examples that occur on this site, hers tend to be played more for realism rather than {{Fanservice}}. You know that shit has gotten real whenever she's in need of a change of clothes. Then again, being MadeOfIron while your clothes aren't pretty much means that's inevitable every time you're put through a wall or dragged along the pavement.
* HealingFactor: One of the perks granted to her by her accelerated metabolism. As long as her powers are active she heals faster; combined with also granting her with SuperStrength, SuperSpeed and SuperToughness it pushes her close to the domain of TheJuggernaut.
* LightningBruiser: She can hit as hard as she can move fast.
* MagicPants: Has a few sets of clothing spun from CNT fibers courtesy of Jen, meant to avert the above cases of ClothingDamage - but doesn't have enough sets to be wearing one every day.
* MysticalWhiteHair: Subverted. She wasn't born with white hair, and part of her profile suggested she had dark hair at birth, but a side effect of her metabolic control ability resulted in a complete loss of hair pigmentation.
* PowerDyesYourHair: Subverted; while her hair turned from dark to white upon the awakening of her metabolist abilities, said transformation appears to be a [[LockedIntoStrangeness one-time, permanent change]].
* TheQuietOne: In her baseline state.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: The first sign of Aya's powers going active is when the irises of her eyes change from their normal deep blue to bright red.
* TheWorfEffect: Despite her status as an ActionGirl who's quite a badass in her own right, in many of the threads where Aya has seen combat she's spent more time being on the receiving end of punishment rather than the giving end. Fortunately for her, [[GoodThingYouCanHeal she can]] [[MadeOfIron take it]].

'''Overview:''' Yuki is your run-of-the-mill, happy-go-lucky kid meets [[GirlNextDoor girl-next-door]]. She transferred to Hyakuji her second year of high school after an [[DoomedHometown unfortunate family tragedy]], [[ThePollyanna but you wouldn't guess that were the case by her happy disposition]]. She loves making others happy, and it's a wonder that her player didn't make her ability the Care Bear Stare. With her guardian Nora and best friends in tow, there's bound to be some form of comedy wherever she ends up...[[MoodWhiplash not to say there isn't some drama lurking around the corner]].

----
* CloudCuckooLander: Not quite stupid, clearly not insane. But quite hard to predict at times.
* CowardlyLion: Yuki's certainly far from being one of the bravest characters on the site. But if her past adventures have shown anything, it's that when push comes to shove, as long as she puts her heart and mind to it she can easily be just as courageous as her more heroic companions.
* CuteClumsyGirl: Her clumsiness rarely results in injury, but it can set off a chain of disasters.
* CutenessOverload: Yuki finds herself often unable to ignore anything that falls into the realm of "cute," whether it's a kitten in a store window, a stuffed animal, or an adorably-made keychain.
* DeceasedParentsAreTheBest: Yuki loses her parents and grandparents in a HeroicSacrifice they made saving her and the other people of the town against an unknown enemy. And of course, this final battle was your typical DyingMomentOfAwesome as would only be appropriate for our protagonist's family members.
* DeterminedExpression: She's been known to sport this every once in a while, although it's usually in more comedic situations such as cooking lessons, shopping trips, or aiding in a school fundraiser (example cited in Season 3's matsuri festival when she worked at the Cosplay Karaoke Cafe as a waitress, hellbent on helping her beloved school). However, she doesn't quite get herself a shoutout as a {{Determinator}} due to the fact that [[AchievementsInIgnorance if she overanalyzes a situation, she can be easily discouraged]]. If she gets riled up enough (such as during the Season 3 thread involving the counter-prank on Kaimu) she can get rather [[PluckyGirl plucky]], but this only occurs when those closest to her are threatened.
* TheDitherer: Overlaps with The Insecure/Submissive and Empathic type.
* TheFool: When she is able to contribute to a fight, [[AccidentalHero it's usually by accident]] (and incidentally comic relief). It should also be noted that out of all the battles and fights she's been associated with, [[BornLucky she has come out virtually unscathed]]. One example is of her nearly dropping a rifle and firing the gun in an underground weapons factory thread which ended up working as a threat to their captive.
* FriendToAllLivingThings: She will give anything the benefit of the doubt that they are able to do good and are not inherently evil...until proven guilty.
* GenkiGirl: Although she's not as extreme to the point of reader annoyance, it's likely that she's fueled by all the sugar she eats. It's not often that one sees her tired, and witnessing anything other than her usual bubbly self is generally cause for concern.
* TheGlomp: Her signature move, though it's generally reserved for her closer friends. (Strangers get enthusiastic bows)
* HeroicSelfDeprecation: Sometimes gets her own self-esteem issues due to her [[NeutralFemale inability to help out in any meaningful way]] when her companions are fighting, until things get dire and she feels that she just ''has'' to do something; although her lack of fighting prowess of her own meant more often than not someone had to end up TakingTheBullet for her, making her feel like she's TheLoad many a time.
* HypercompetentSidekick - AKA Nora, Yuki's winged cat-like guardian. Often feeling like her charge is a lost cause, she dutifully watches after her and as of the beginning of Season 4, pretty much does all the fighting in battles (and by pretty much, I mean she does). One might even consider her a ChessmasterSidekick despite the fact that she tries to coax Yuki into giving her offensive commands to help prepare her mentally for her own fights in the future.
* ISeeDeadPeople: Literally. She sees dead people.
* IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy: Wishes this for Jonny and Selene, or at least so she ''tries''. Cue {{Love Hurt|s}}ing.
* InsecureLoveInterest: Yuki often compares herself to Selene and is thoroughly convinced that her small-town Japanese ways are far inferior to those of the high-class corporate heiress, thereby making her an unfit match for the boy in question. An example of this would be prom, when she literally tried to convince herself she was an unworthy competitor in a potential relationship.
* InstantCostumeChange: When Yuki personifies her different spirits she inevitably has a costume change. What kind of magical girl would she be without one?
* IronicName: Another way of reading Yuki is "courage"... and she's hardly one of the bravest characters, lacking the [[{{Determinator}} insane determination]] or [[NervesOfSteel preternatural calm]] that her TrueCompanions take for granted. When push comes to shove however, a DareToBeBadass or YouAreBetterThanYouThinkYouAre can inspire bursts of HeroicResolve in her - [[StatusQuoIsGod albeit only temporarily]]; see CowardlyLion above.
* KindheartedSimpleton: Let's face it, at times, Yuki's pretty dumb. Although some things go flying over her head, she makes up for her lack of knowledge with a heart of gold. This also means [[TheIngenue she's gullible]].
* LastOfHerKind: As shown in her backstory, in a single night she lost both her parents ''and'' grandparents - pretty much her entire immediate family. While it gets mentioned from time to time that she has living relatives (supposedly receives her allowance from an aunt) it remains to be seen whether they are on her father's side of the family tree (thus bearing the Tsukiyoru name) or her mother's. But even if one assumes the former, chances are is that they are not considered the main branch of Yuki's family; making her effectively the last known living Tsukiyoru shrine keeper.
%%* LoveHurts: And how!
* TheMedic: She takes on healing abilities that can be used on anyone but herself via her transformation and channeling of the kami Sakunabikuno.
* MagicIsAMonsterMagnet: This recently became an issue during her personal plot in Shin Season 4 when, due to her increase in magic levels, she popped up on the radar of more menacing spirits and demons. Most notably, some ancient demons (the five Raksha Lords) that had been [[SealedEvilInACan trapped by an ancestor]] [[DugTooDeep surfaced from the building site]] of the old Tsukiyoru shrine, and now the five demons are hot on Yuki's trail.
* {{Miko}}: Yuki volunteers at the local shrine. It's also handy since she gets the opportunity to use the grounds for spiritual training.
* OutOfFocus: Her creator admits that due to her at best [[CommutingOnABus sporadic]] RP activity, it would be virtually impossible to commit Yuki to any site-wide events or personal plots. She takes it in her stride by limiting her mostly to one-off roleplay threads that are not connected to any ongoing plots. Partially manages to avert ChuckCunninghamSyndrome by allowing her to make [[TheOtherDarrin occasional cameos as an NPC played by a fellow roleplayer]], thus putting her under this trope.
* ThePollyanna: Despite the fact that she lost her entire family in a single night, she remains strangely optimistic. It's left to be seen whether or not there's something beneath her [[BeneathTheMask perpetually-smiling facade]], or if she's so wound up in denial that she has actually [[BecomingTheMask become the mask she's hiding behind]].
* PoorCommunicationKills: Of the CannotSpitItOut variety. For someone as [[GenkiGirl outspoken]] as herself, Yuki's ironically reserved when it comes to her innermost feelings, primarily out of empathic consideration towards the feelings of her friends, often choosing to keep her fears and worries bottled up instead of confiding in them with her TrueCompanions, or finding a positive outlet for them. Her treatment for any negative feelings that comes her way is to ThinkHappyThoughts, and put on [[StepfordSmiler a smile]]. It doesn't take an exceptionally GenreSavvy viewer to anticipate that sooner or later, all of it is going to bounce back at her. With a vengeance. Which could only mean [[CerebusSyndrome drama is looming]] [[BreakTheCutie over the horizon...]]
* RoseHairedSweetie: An almost [[PinkMeansFeminine by-the-book]] example of one, no less.
* ShipTease: Involving something of a not-quite-launched-yet LoveTriangle which hopefully doesn't end with her punking out and [[CanNotSpitItOut holding in her (as of yet, underdeveloped) feelings]] due to her overwhelming concerns regarding her friendship and [[IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy strictly-platonic love]] for her roommate, Selene.
* SweetTooth: While she's able to stave off the pounds with a rocket-speed metabolism, you wouldn't think the small girl could single-handedly polish off a dozen doughnuts by herself without batting an eyelash. Fried foods and other treats are also devoured by her. Not quite a full-fledged BigEater.
* ThirdWheel: Or at least [[ItsNotYouItsMe sees herself as such]] in the now-developing ([[CannotSpitItOut but not yet confessed]]) romance between Jonny and Selene.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: With Selene - but [[SubvertedTrope heavily subverted]], as both girls are girly as they come in their interests and disposition. Yuki however comes across as the girly girl of the two - [[CannotSpitItOut generally reserved when it comes to her feelings]], [[TheDitherer is usually nervous and indecisive when confronted]], and highly [[TheKirk emotionally-sensitive]]. This stands in contrast to Selene's tendency to [[TheMcCoy wear her heart on her sleeve]], [[PluckyGirl generally assertive and decisive personality]], and ability to be blunt and straightforward when needed.
* TouchedByVorlons: Yuki had an initial training session with Terado which allowed her to expand her power limit from "essentially useless" to "almost useful."
* TrueCompanions: With Seth Ryouga, Jonny Desmond, and Selene Frostfire.

* HatesEveryoneEqually: At her absolute worst, Tsubame's attitude can be summed as a misanthrope; although it's hinted at times that it might just be a [[HiddenHeartOfGold facade]] on her part to keep people away from her.
* KnightInSourArmor: At her absolute best. 1213
Eva, as she is known, is a rather confused and innocent gynoid who gained sentience from being merely the prototype of a line of gynoid weapons developed by the US Army. After her escape, she sought refuge in Hyakuji due to it being far from her place of "birth" and being notably accepting of the strange. Being a weapon troubles her, though her tendency towards innocent behavior quickly made her well-liked by multiple characters, even a few of the JerkAss sort. Steadily enough, she has learned how to interact with people and has developed into quite the sweet {{The Cutie}} to many, even dealing with romantic attention in some cases.
----
* BewareTheNiceOnes: No matter how adorable she is, she is still military hardware and has the potential strength, and familiarity with nearly any form of weaponry, to be dangerous.
* BlankSlate: Began as this, but the variety of positive influences on her, such as her "adoptive family", increasingly develop her into a sweet and innocent girl who wishes to be more than a weapon.
* BreakTheCutie: Was '''very''' nearly {{Driven To Suicide}} by Simon Morris's attempt to do this on behalf of her creators.
* ChildrenAreInnocent: Eva is 2 years old and proportionally unfamiliar with most of the world.
* EmotionlessGirl: Has had a very difficult time understanding how to behave or how to interpret the behaviors of others, though is gradually learning the nuances of emotion.
* GrewBeyondTheirProgramming: Her becoming sentient.
* HumanityIsInfectious: Explicity learns behaviors and is strongly influenced by what she observes in other characters.
* MadeOfIron: Titanium alloy, actually!
* ParentalSubstitute: Found one in Yuzuki Saito, though does have a true "mother" of a sort, and a sister who is also a robot.
* RobotGirl: Was originally designed as military hardware by the US Army.
* RousingSpeech: Retroactive case, was saved from the aforementioned {{Break The Cutie}} attempt by one of these she'd received previously from multiple other characters.
* TheSoulless: Explicitly revealed to lack a soul, which leaves her unhappy at times.
* SuperPrototype: Is the prototype to a line of combat gynoids, and has proven more formidable than her production model "sisters", as well as having been the only model to have attained self-awareness.
%%* WhatMeasureIsANonhuman: Struggles with this.

* BeautyIsNeverTarnished: Averted. Sol's injuries transfer back to Mariko and vice-versa
* BeehiveBarrier: Sol's defensive attack takes the form of this thanks to her shout-out to the Guren [=MkII=] (See ShoutOut below)
* BlessedWithSuck: Despite having her powers, Mariko has faced some pretty bad things as a result; Kidnap and torture for one (See MoreThanMindControl below).
* BrokenBird: Thanks to Zylor, Mariko is quite afraid of male "hero" types. Thanks to Jonny and Ikki, she's partially over this but it may resurface again later.
* CurtainsMatchTheWindow: Matching red hair and eyes, and they're natural too
* DamselInDistress: Unfortunate incident of losing her powers in the middle of a fight against Yoma (See IOweYouMyLife below)
* DeerInTheHeadlights: When facing down a rather large Yoma after the loss of her powers, needless to say if it wasn't for the intervention of Jonny Desmond, she'd be dead by now
* DepravedBisexual: Shades of. Her first reaction to seeing Jonny shirtless? Commenting on how "sexy" his body was, while trying to prevent the oneset of an explosive nosebleed.
* {{Fangirl}}: For Yuri and Hetro stuff. She also seems to be immune to the bloodloss this causes with Nosebleed and OverdrawnAtTheBloodbank. Also see ShipperOnDeck below.
* GenreSavvy: Has demonstrated this in regards to JRPG's in the Nanashi no Game rumour, identifying a lot of aspects that didn't seem to fit the apparently 8-bit era game.
* HenshinHero: Like any Sailor Senshi, Mariko transforms into Sol when using her powers.
* IOweYouMyLife: With Jonny. He saved her life when she lost her powers and was facing a giant Yoma that was trying to kill her.
* InTheNameOfTheMoon: Invoked like any self-respecting Sailor Senshi on the side of good and Justice.
* MagicalGirl: As a Sailor Senshi, Mariko falls under this classification.
* MeaningfulName: Mariko's last name, "Amaterasu", is that of the Shinto Goddess of the Sun. Sailor Sol is the Senshi of the Sun.
* MoreThanMindControl: Attempted by Zylor through kidnap and torture to break Mariko and make Sol serve him.
* MysteriousPast: While Mariko's origins are known, Sol's memories are fragmented and quite hidden with more returning as time progresses.
* NoseBleed: Often overlaps with Fangirl, which has made several of these, including two of the "explosive" variety.
* OverdrawnAtTheBloodbank: Happens along with Nosebleed quite frequently.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Averted in that Mariko and Sol both have red eyes regardless of if they're being nice or mean.
* ShipperOnDeck: And how! She ships her friends with each other (Except Jonny/Ikki, she's no Yaoi fan) as well as with herself.
* ShoutOut: Sol's right arm and the form of some of her attacks are a Shout Out to the Guren [=MkII=] and its upgraded forms of ''Anime/CodeGeass'' fame.
* WaveMotionGun: Two of Sol's attacks are this thanks to the Guren shout-out.
* WrongGenreSavvy: Mariko's deduction as to Jonny's actions against the Red Lion organisation was this.

Heiress to the rich and powerful Frostfire family, Selene is the site's resident {{Ojou}}. She comes from the United Kingdom, and runs the local branch of her family's company. She's descended from the Eldar, elves that are residents of the Elemental World, and she was sent to Hyakuji as part of her training to SaveBothWorlds if she ever needs to. Since then she's had to fight off just about nutball that has threatened her new home, whilst remaining prim and proper.

----
* ActionGirl: Despite her appearance, Selene ''is'' trained in Krav Maga, a real life form of self defense taught to [[BadassIsraeli Israeli Commandos]].
* BadassInDistress: Has become this for the [J] threads with the WDA. Trust us, the ''only'' reason she didn't kick her kidnapper's ass herself is because they had a HumanShield.
* BarrierWarrior: One of her minor used abilities is the ability to create a mystical barrier up to 20 feet around her.
* BattleStrip: When push comes to shove the Valkyrie summon can opt to ditch her armor, complete with a change in fighting style from a JackOfAllStats to a GlassCannon that overlaps with FragileSpeedster, bumping up her SuperSpeed by a couple notches but in the process [[FragileSpeedster throwing away her defenses]].
* BewareTheNiceOnes: The reason the above statement under BadassInDistress can be said with quite some certainty, is because Selene is the master of both a [[ActionGirl Valkyrie]] and a ''[[OurWyvernsAreDifferent Wyvern]]'', despite being one of the nicer characters in universe. And as of her recent upgrades, add a [[WhiteMage Dryad]], as well as a {{Golem}} that is for all intents and purposes a MagiTek MiniMecha to her list of summoned guardians.
* BloodMagic: The source of Selene's powers - she makes her required seals with her blood.
* BodyguardingABadass: Selene's usually accompanied by armed [[BadassInANiceSuit bodyguards]] hired by the Frostfire Family. [[ActionGirl Not that she actually needs them, though.]]
* BritishStuffiness: Averted to hell and back. Selene is one of the kindest and most humble characters on the site.
* HeroicRROD: Her 'Acceleration' power allows Selene to bypass most of her limits, but over usage in one day could lead to her death.
* InTheBlood: Descended from elves, which makes it a ''really'' good catalyst for magic.
%%* KungFuWizard
* {{Magitek}}: The Geisinian War Hulk, a combat golem, is effectively a magitek MiniMecha.
%%* MightyGlacier:
%%** Selene's Wyvern summon fills in this role; subverted however when the Wyvern goes airborne, becoming a straight-laced example of a LightningBruiser.
%%** The golem summon plays this trope completely straight and overlaps it with MoreDakka.
* {{Ojou}}: Probably ''the'' richest character on the site, given that her family fortune measures into the ''billions''. Generally a type 1.
* OneeSama: Is often times this to Yuki, one of her best friends.
* SquishyWizard: Averted, while reliant on summons and wards as her primary form of magic, Selene isn't as frail as her [[MoreThanMeetsTheEye appearance might suggest]], see KungFuWizard and ActionGirl above.
* StiffUpperLip: Manages to remain calm and composed - at least on the outside - when she's been kidnapped.
* SummonMagic: Her main power set.
* SwissArmyWeapon: The Valkyrie summon now wields a [[{{BFS}} claymore]] that can also transform into a [[ShotgunsAreJustBetter magical shotgun]] with an oversized bayonet.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: With Yuki - but [[SubvertedTrope heavily subverted]], as both girls are girly as they come in their interests and disposition. Selene however comes across as the Tomboy of the two due to her tendency to [[TheMcCoy wear her heart on her sleeve]], [[PluckyGirl generally assertive and decisive personality]], and ability to be blunt and straightforward when needed. This stands in contrast with Yuki's [[CannotSpitItOut generally reserved and tight-lipped tendencies when it comes to her feelings]], [[TheDitherer is usually nervous and indecisive when confronted]], and highly [[TheKirk emotionally-sensitive]].
* WaveMotionGun: Her golem summon has one that overlaps with ChestBlaster as its FinishingMove. The Valkyrie summon also has a weaker, SwordBeam variant of this trope, which is often [[ShoutOut referred to in-narrative as]] [[VisualNovel/FateStayNight Excaliblast-lite]].

[[caption-width-right:173: ''[--(In-game Depiction)--]'']]

Generally one to avoid the limelight, Erin Oasella is an aspiring researcher who would much rather spend her time in a library than on the battle field. In the rare situation where she is called on to fight, she tends not to pack much of a punch physically, [[TeenGenius but shows an aptitude for tactical thinking]], [[SkilledButNaive which is somewhat counterbalanced by her tendency to panic in tough situations]]. She shows the personality of a plain and kind girl-next-door. Being mature for her age, most of her friends were upperclassman who have since graduated, leaving her with few friends left in school as she moves into her junior year. However, she still spends plenty of time with them outside of class.

----
* ActualPacifist:
** The thought of hurting anyone at all makes her nauseous. When forced to fight, she restricts herself to blunt attacks instead of sharp ones so that she doesn't draw blood.
** Her pacifism extends even to everyday life. Quite noticeable during her birthday party at Damon's house, where she showed a strong aversion towards video games with combat and violence, such as when Lavender and Kage were playing ''VideoGame/HouseOfTheDead 2'', as well as the CardGames example below.
* BarrierWarrior: Her Soul Weapon is named Aegis, and it takes the form of three large shields that move autonomously to protect her or anyone else she wants. She can also create shields out of densely compressed air.
* BlowYouAway: Erin is an [[WhateverMancy Elemancer]], specifically an Aeromancer. She attacks by slowly compressing and then quickly decompressing large amounts of air.
* BreakTheCutie: During the inVERsion event, she was [[WithGreatPowerComesGreatInsanity taken over]] by the [[ArtifactOfDoom Orange Materia]] and, in her corrupted state of mind, turned her vastly increased power on her friends. It was eventually stopped by forcefully shutting the materia down - but by that point, it had become integrated with her body and removing it caused her excessive pain. The emotional damage from nearly killing her friends lasted for months after the incident, and [[MyGreatestFailure won't ever fully go away]].
* CardGames: Made it to the final match in the ''TabletopGame/YuGiOh'' tournament using a stall/mill deck. [[{{Pacifist}} She never declared a single attack.]]
* {{Flight}}: She achieves this by encasing herself in a cushion of compressed air and carrying herself around with her powers.
* FriendlyTarget: The events of inVERsion spurred practically the entire Elemancery Club to deeply hate whoever it was that sabotaged the Materia.
* FriendToAllLivingThings: (See ActualPacifist above) Her {{Pacifist}} tendencies don't merely apply to [[WhatMeasureIsANonHuman humans]] [[WhatMeasureIsAHumanoid and humanoids]], [[AndroidsArePeopleToo or even sentient life]]. As long as it's a living, breathing creature she would very much prefer to opt for a non-violent approach. Only non-living entities such as non-sentient constructs and [[TheSoulless The Heartless]] are exempt, but even then due to her lack of combat aptitude she would very much prefer to play a support-based role in the heat of battle, providing tactical assistance to her allies instead of directly engaging the enemy.
* GeniusBookClub: You can usually find her in one of three places: Hyakuji's School Library, the Scryptorium (Arcadia's Library), or on the first floor of the Wind Tower, reading books on Elemancy off of the bookshelf.
* HardWorkHardlyWorks: It's not like she doesn't train hard, especially after she dreamed of becoming like Chizu, but despite all her efforts to try to master combat-based aeromancy she couldn't overcome her aversion towards harming others, and hence all attempts made by her at learning combat techniques ultimately proved fruitless. [[http://hyakujihigh.net/topic/4074842/1/#new See it here]].
* HeroicSelfDeprecation: Her self-confidence has been an issue for a long time, mainly due to the fact that she tried to involve herself in big fights for the future when she really wasn't much of a fighter. In the big fights of the earlier seasons, [[TheLoad she generally didn't last long]], and her BreakTheCutie moment didn't help either. However, she's been encouraged both by Jameson and by her friends at the Elemancer Club, and seems to be getting better about her self-esteem.
* [[NiceGuy Nice Girl]]: She is a plain and generally likeable girl, and sometimes appears to be a little out of place on the battlefield.
* PoorCommunicationKills: One of the important lessons she came to learn in the aftermath of [[BreakTheCutie inVERsion]], was that [[CannotSpitItOut keeping quiet]] about her feelings didn't help matters any, and realized that it was her feelings of jealously towards [[ActionGirl Chizu]] that the [[TheCorruption Orange Materia]] played on. In a conversation with Kaede, she admits that she should have learned to be more open with her feelings rather than keeping everything bottled up.
* SensorCharacter: By sensing the air around her, she can sense the positions of solid objects by the shapes of displaced air, up to pretty impressive ranges, making her kind of a human sonar. She's generally more useful for this than for her meager offensive capabilities.
* SkilledButNaive: Her [[TeenGenius book smarts]], [[AwesomeByAnalysis keen eyes]] and SensorCharacter abilities give her the potential to be a tactical genius of considerable caliber, but between her ActualPacifist tendencies and her [[CowardlyLion tendency to get sheepish]] when faced with danger thus far prevents her from realizing her full potential in this regard.
* SquishyWizard: Erin's pretty much right up there with Star when it comes to having a glass jaw constitution, thus far appearing unable to take any form of physical abuse without passing out.
* [[TeachHimAnger Teach Her Anger]]: Another valuable life lesson for Erin in the wake of inVERsion. In the same conversation with Kaede, she confesses feelings of hate toward whoever masterminded the incident, and a desire ([[ActualPacifist although being only herself]], it made her queasy to think too much or too long about it) to [[{{Revenge}} hurt whoever was responsible]]. In the process, she also comes to acknowledge that being [[HumansAreFlawed only human]] afterall, she was also capable of feeling anger and hatred, and that it was foolish of her to keep such feeling bottled up instead of finding an outlet in naive hopes that they would simply go away if [[JustIgnoreIt ignored long enough]].
* TeenGenius: Due to private research being a hobby of hers, and the vast amount of information on the supernatural housed within the Scryptorium, Erin has extensive knowledge in many supernatural fields of study - to the point where she can explain the inner workings of FunctionalMagic despite not actually being a Magus.
%%* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: With Chizu.
* TookALevelInBadass: What Erin desired when she began [[HeroWorshipper idolizing]] Chizu, trying to train herself to become more like the person she worships. Then came the [[ArtifactOfDoom Orange Materia]] and everything goes wrong. [[GoneHorriblyWrong Horribly wrong]]. After the resulting storm from the aftermath of inVERsion calmed down, she eventually comes to accept that [[BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor this path wasn't quite meant for her afterall]].
* WindIsGreen: When she uses her powers, the air that she is controlling turns a greenish hue. It's actually just a coincidence, though - green was a color that reflected her personality, and also happens to be her favorite color.
* YankTheDogsChain: And again, inVERsion. Prior to that, you might think Erin was slowly developing on the right track, slowly picking up combat skills, and generally [[TookALevelInBadass gaining more confidence and personal courage]] in the process. [[DiabolusExMachina Then]] [[CorruptTheCutie inVERsion]] [[BreakTheCutie happened]]. The aftermath wasn't pretty to say the least.
* YouAreBetterThanYouThinkYouAre: As Jameson B. Willicott said, "Your only weakness is your lack of confidence in yourself." Also agreed upon to be her fatal weakness by Lavender and Damon, as well as most of her other friends at the Club.

A traditionally Japanese, highly affectionate and motherly senior student. Yuzuki treats every other character with respect and love, at times subtle, others overt. She conducts herself as a dignified, soft-spoken young lady, and tends to pull through a situation via kindness over force. A notable example in the Hyakuji plot was respectfully treating the {{Big Bad}} of Season 4, the Machine King, with such kindness and forgiveness that the plot's resolution changed, and "Kitagawa Yuuki" as she named him has remained a background character played by the admin since. Her writer has fretted that she stole the spotlight of that season finale ever after, however.
----
* AllLovingHero: Loves the entirety of existence, has taken the Bodhisattva Vow, believes that everyone and everything is linked together as one, actually changed the intended resolution to the Machine King arc through kindness, explicitly has a pure heart, is favored by nature spirits to the point where she can manipulate earth, and has a small suite of abilities that focus on serenity, inspiration, and hope. Her "true power" is stated to be the Power to Inspire Others.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Wouldn't hurt a fly normally, is sweet and loving to virtually everybody. '''Absolutely terrifies''' multiple characters, though it's worth noting that most such instances are of the "afraid of making mom mad" variety, though [[TheUnfettered Ian Vaner]] is genuinely afraid of her for other reasons.
* BoobBasedGag: Has an unspecified-size chest that is deliberately ridiculous in size as an intentional parody of anime cliches, and also to give other characters an easy way to tease her. Deconstructed somewhat, in that Yuzuki is [[DCupDistress NOT happy to have them]], as she feels her lessons of loving everybody are inhibited by the implication that it's easy to be loved when you're good-looking.
* CuddleBug: Offers hugs freely and frequently embraces others, though has to try and remember at times to respect personal space.
* CutenessOverload: Played for laughs, has at times apparently derived sensual pleasure from cuteness alone. Most of the time though, she simply immediately reacts to anything or anyone cute by getting maternal.
* EmbarrassingNickname: "Princess (Edo)", given to her by [[Tomboy Mina]] and [[ParadoxPerson Jin]]. She gets depressed at the mention of it. The latter also sometimes refers to her as "Princess Funbags", and any mention of THAT one tends to reduce Yuzuki to a flustered, sputtering wreck.
* EnlightenmentSuperpowers: Her "Eight-Fold Magokoro" ability is explicitly a pure heart along with a steady approach to becoming enlightened.
* TheFettered: Her devotion to nonviolence and commitment towards peaceful and loving ways easily make her one.
* KimonoIsTraditional: Technically, a furisode. But otherwise fits the trope to a T as Yuzuki is almost always seen in traditional Japanese clothing, with the school uniform being one of the rare contemporary outfits that she owns.
* LoveFreak: Can go a bit overboard with her occasional speeches on love, and has a sometimes-difficult time understanding that people of the same gender usually just can't feel certain types of love for each other, being bisexual herself.
* SilkHidingSteel: Wears a furisode whenever not required to wear the school uniform. Not only out of modesty, but also because Yuzuki is highly traditional. Where this trope comes into play is that she's also a trained onna-bugeisha (female samurai) specializing in [[IaijutsuPractitioner iaijutsu]], though it bears mentioning that she takes her training seriously mostly just for the sake of exercise and out of respect for family tradition.
* SpoiledSweet: Unusually for an anime-themed RP site, Yuzuki has a loving family of her own who regard her as a darling heiress to the family name. While rarely brought up, she even asked for and received a '''pet horse''' for one of her birthdays, and "Shiki-kun" in theory allows her to engage in mounted combat. She's had a fairly easy life, all in all. She's an All-Loving Heroine who really loves the entirety of existence, believes that everyone and everything is linked together as one, explicitly has a pure heart, is favored by nature spirits to the point where she can manipulate earth, and has a small suite of abilities that focus on serenity, inspiration, and hope. She at times worries that her lack of hardship alienates her from others she'd want to help.
* TeamMom: Fills this role deliberately, having unofficially adopted multiple characters. Acts the part too, including bringing a basket of home-cooked food along with her often which she offers other characters. This and her All Loving Hero traits listed above are arguably the very core of her personality.
* YamatoNadeshiko: The origin of her "Princess (Edo)" nickname, boy howdy does she fulfill it.
* Yandere: An infrequent joke, "Yanzuki" tends to appear if someone is treating someone who loves them cruelly or callously, or if her adopted family is causing/in trouble.
* YaoiFangirl: Is this behind the scenes, a secret shame of hers, as she thinks of love that transcends cultural boundaries very highly.

* MyGreatestFailure: The death of his FirstLove, Celestial Lewis along with their adopted daughter Sugar. While he's long since gotten over it, there was a time when memories of the incident really haunted him.
* ShockAndAwe: Nickle's primary power set, and among the player characters with similar power sets he's pretty much considered the master of said element.
* SuperMode: His Storm King form, which basically allows him to transform from flesh and blood into an EnergyBeing made of living lightning.

* FailureKnight: Though it's more towards the school as a whole as opposed to a single person.
* HeroicSacrifice: For her love interest, who never came back for her despite the fact that she made it through alive.
* HeroicWillpower: Two of her four weapons would drive a human insane just from picking them up. One, the EvilWeapon Muramasa, and the other the Blade of Atroce, which normally turns the wielder into a wild raging berserker. Not Vielle, though.
* ImprobableAimingSkills: Subverted; one of her weapons is a crossbow made with the bones of a sacred hawk, and is almost as powerful as a modern-day sniper rifle...except Vielle's training was mostly with melee weapons and she can't aim out to even half its maximum range.
