[[folder:Philippe West]]
-->Voiced by: Kumiko Higa
[[quoteright:164:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/philippe_west.jpg]]

The son of a contractor named William West. After his father died, his mother having passed away long ago, he was taken in by the House of Fianna, an orphanage run by the Nightray family. He was in complete denial over his father's death until Oz forced him to face reality, although this could have to do with the effect Humpty Dumpty had on him rather than just denial.

* BrainwashedAndCrazy: By Humpty Dumpty, along with the other orphans in the House of Fianna.
* CheerfulChild: He acts very lively and happy when Oz meets him again, but this is because of Humpty Dumpty altering his memories and making him think his father is still alive.
* HeartwarmingOrphan: After his father was dragged into the Abyss...sometimes. Note that he was also somewhat BrainwashedAndCrazy, as can be seen above.
* MissingMom: She died a long time before he even made his first appearance in the manga.

[[folder:Isla Yura]]
[[quoteright:233:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/isla_yura.jpg]]

The leader of a cult that worships the Abyss as salvation for all and, because of this, heavily supports the idea of dragging the world into the Abyss. He knows the things he tells his cult are all complete lies but [[ItAmusedMe enjoys manipulating them and watching their blind devotion to him.]]

* AbhorrentAdmirer: Both Oz and Jack are so disgusted by him and his creepy {{fanboy}}ing that they want him dead. In fact, Jack comes out just to kill Isla Yura.
* ArcVillain: He's the main villain of the arc in which he organizes a Coming of Age Ceremony for Oz only to try and repeat the Tragedy of Sablier with the help of his evil cult.
* AxCrazy: Trying to repeat the Tragedy of Sablier is nothing but a fun game to him.
* DieLaughing: He died with an ecstatic grin at the joy of meeting and being killed by his idol Jack Vessalius.
* EvilIsHammy: He's a flamboyant evil cult leader.
* ForTheEvulz: He wants to recreate the Tragedy of Sablier for no reason other than his own amusement.
* {{Gonk}}: Notably the ugliest character in a CastFullOfPrettyBoys, with strange proportions and odd shapes making up his design.
* HartmanHips: [[{{Squick}} Disturbingly enough.]]
* HateSink: He's a repulsive madman who organizes evil cults, tries to do a reenactment of one of the biggest tragedies of his world and wants to make the world fall into the Abyss. Why? Because he thinks it would be fun.
* InLoveWithYourCarnage: He got ''really'' excited when Oz tore Humpty Dumpty to shreds using B-Rabbit's power and threatened to kill Yura.
%%* LeanAndMean
* LoonyFan: He basically worships Jack Vessalius who resides in Oz's body. Oz and Jack definitely would get a restraining order against Yura if they could.
* MoreHateableMinorVillain: The primary antagonist is Glen Baskerville, who slaughtered the entire city of Sablier. Despite his horrific actions, his sympathetic motives and backstory prevents him from being utterly despicable. And [[spoiler:Jack Vessalius, the other villain, is just as sympathetic, being motivated by his love for Lacie.]] On the other hand, Isla Yura is a repulsive cult leader who plans to repeat the Tragedy of Sablier and drag the entire world into the Abyss for his amusement. He doesn't actually have the means to pull it off and is a minor, forgettable villain in the grand scheme of things, but proves to be far more repulsive than the main antagonists.
* NightmareFetishist: He's fascinated by the study of the occult, especially the Abyss and its magical, time-warping properties.
* SissyVillain: He actually planned on changing outfits five times in the night of Oz's second coming of age ceremony, each and every one of them flamboyant, somewhat horrifyingly.

[[folder: Dahlia Garland]]
[[quoteright:112:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dahlia_garland_1.jpg]]

A woman from the somewhat obscure but aristocratic Garland family, and the thirtieth woman to make it past the social barriers put in place by the Nightrays in order for a possibility to marry Gilbert. Although Gilbert genuinely cared for her and the feeling was eventually mutual, she turned out to be a cultist, and she had agreed to go out with him as part of a plan to use him as a sacrifice.

* BecomingTheMask: She was supposed to be faking any positive feelings for Gilbert, whether they were romantic or platonic in nature. However, she grew genuinely fond of him after they spent some time together, which was why she had such a difficult time following through with the original plan to use him as a sacrifice.
* {{Cult}}: She joined a cult because she was told they could resurrect her father, who she was very close to.
* CuteBookworm: Loves reading books every day.
* EasilyForgiven: Despite how she attempted to use him as a cult sacrifice, Gilbert actually forgave her for her actions, as he understood why she would do horrible things to be reunited with the most important person in her life. He ended up telling her that he would never forgive her, though, because he also understood it would be too difficult to maintain any sort of relationship after everything that happened and she would prefer never to see him again.
* TheIngenue: She seems very warm, innocent, and sincere, but [[SubvertedTrope the desperation of wanting to resurrect her dead father has led her to carry out some despicable actions.]]
* MirrorCharacter: Gilbert thinks that they are similar, both having a sort of dark double life and a specific individual they would do absolutely anything for (Dahlia, her father; Gilbert, his master). It's also noted several times that this is apparent physically.
* RavenHairIvorySkin: She has black hair and beautifully sculpted features that have an almost melancholic feel to them, which make her look similar to Gilbert. Even [[EmotionlessGirl Echo]] remarks that she is a beautiful woman.
* RedBaron: Her code name is Black Widow.
* ShipTease: Between her and Gilbert, although due to the extremely obvious context of why this would be and the eventual fate of their relationship, this trope may not be considered applicable by some.
** For more details: Though any feelings for Gilbert were supposed to be faked, [[BecomingTheMask Dahlia truly did grow to like him,]] and Gilbert cared for her in return. It's never explicitly stated that either of their feelings were romantic in nature, especially since they were meeting each other for entirely non-romantic reasons, but their interactions are portrayed in ShipTease-y light. Seemingly deliberately, it's made very clear that [[AmbiguouslyGay Gilbert has never showed this much concern for a woman,]] and it's almost implied a few times that he intends to marry her. Multiple fans speculated while reading this particular story that Dahlia was only created to confirm Gilbert's [[HaveIMentionedIAmHeterosexualToday questionable heterosexuality]]... until the end of the story.

[[folder: The Great Mother]]

The leader of the cult that Dahlia joined, which worshipped a dark god bearing a resemblance to the devil.

* BelievingTheirOwnLies: She believed that she was chosen by the gods after she was given a book supposedly filled with holy scriptures. When Ada was able to prove to her that said book was actually just plagiarized information from several other occult/dark magic books thrown together, she broke down, as she'd dedicated her entire life to serving her god as depicted in the book.
* BigNo: After Ada reveals to her that her supposedly holy, one of a kind book is fake, stealing content from various other books and having multiple copies sold by scammers.
* EvilMatriarch: Acts this way towards Dahlia after her father dies.
