!The Heroes
[[folder: Pac-Man]]
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pacman_point.png]]
!!!!!!Voiced by: Erin Matthews (EN), Creator/YukaTerasaki (JP)
The namesake and hero of the series. As the leading character of the series reboot since the 30th anniversary, Pac-Man's got a different [[StealthPun flavor]] than the original incarnation. However, what he brings to the table to make up for it are a whole slew of new forms and abilities, a more grounded personality, and daresay some manner of character development.

The last known "Yellow One" to exist in all of Pac-World, the young Pac possesses abilities far and beyond the rest of his kind, which he uses in superhero fashion to protect Pac-Land and the rest of the world from the ongoing attacks from the netherworld.

!!Tropes associated with Pac-Man include:
* BadassAdorable: A cheerful and goofy kid who eventually can take on the most dangerous forces in his universe.
%%* BadassBookworm
* BewareTheSillyOnes: Pac is a glutton with his head in the clouds and an almost naive temperament. Next thing you know, on a moment's notice, he's raining fire from the sky, pile-driving monsters in a steel body, freezing over an evil army, or taking out an apocalyptic threat by becoming a planet--all on a moment's notice. If that's a bit much to read, just note that the ''entirety of the Netherworld'', after being free for the first time in years, ran back ''screaming in fear'' upon just ''seeing'' him.
* BigEater: As per being Pac-Man. Here, it's becomes a crucial plot point in the series as, since he's a "Yellow One", he's the only one capable of devouring ghosts. In his down time, he is often snacking on something. In one episode, he almost caused a city-wide food shortage that the president threatened to limit him to three meals a day!
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: At the beginning of the series, Pac is the only one who seems to support the existence of ghosts. [[CassandraTruth To be fair, not like he's wrong.]]
* TheCloudCuckoolanderWasRight: In the first episode, Pac appears to be the only one who actually believes in ghosts. Turns out they are real.
* TheDreaded: To the entire ''Netherrealm''. The first episode had their massive invasion ''halted'' and all of them '''''fled in terror''''' when they saw that he was a Yellow one.
--> '''Inky:''' The Ghost Grabber. The Monster Muncher.
* ExtremeOmnivore: There is no such thing as "inedible" for Pacster, he just needs to find the right way to eat it. This also includes weird Netherworld food.
* {{Gasshole}}: To the point where certain berries enable him to ''weaponize'' belches.
* HollywoodToneDeaf: Pac is horrible at singing.
* LargeHam: While normally "very down to earth", as Spheros can attest to, Pac isn't always that way. In fact, most often the moment he pops a Power Berry, he goes full-steam into competing with the likes of ''Shatner''. A prime example of such is his insanely massive Planet Pac form.
-->'''Pac:''' [[NoIndoorVoice ...GOOD NEWS.]] YOU'RE NOTHING MORE THAN A SNACK TO ME, NOW. THE BAD NEWS IS THAT I'M HUNGRY ENOUGH TO EAT AN ENTIRE PLANET! '''[[CaptainObvious BECAUSE I AM AN ENTIRE PLANET!]]'''
* LastOfHisKind: One of Pac's major personal baggages throughout the series. He is the last of Yellow Pac-Worlders who are able to eat ghosts. He is also an orphan, though it is hinted his parents may still be alive...
* LegacyCharacter: If WordOfGod is any indication.
* MakeMyMonsterGrow: A rare heroic version of the trope, Pac has on a number of occasions used Power Berries to scale himself up to meet tougher odds. This also itself has had several variations, including standard growth, a golem-like form, and becoming a literal ''planet''.
* NoIndoorVoice: When in the forms of Planet Pac, Granite Pac, and "Paczilla".
* ObliviousToLove: He doesn't seem to be aware of Pinky's crush on him.
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: You know things are bad if Pac-Man ever loses his appetite or, worse, gets ''too full to eat''.
* OverlyLongTongue: Pac-Man has one in this adaptation and it gets transformed into a range of useful tools depending on the berries he eats.
* SuperStrength: While not as prominent as when under the effects of certain berries, Pac's strong enough to force a speeding vehicle to a halt with his bare hands. ...Well, he wears ConspicuousGloves, but you get the idea. In addition, he's shown ability to ''snap a lamp post from its base'' and swing around a ''ghost shark'' like a flail with little issue.
* SuperpowerLottery: And. How. With the berries of the Tree of Life, Pac can do virtually anything. Manipulate fire, ice, magnetism, become as stone, fly, breathe underwater, become gigantic, gain martial arts mastery, become a planet... Just as well, "Stand by Your Pac-Man" shows us that these powers can actually ''stack''. Played with in that other Pac-Worlders can use the berries, but they regularly are less effective, they last far shorter, or something in their usage backfires.
* TimedPowerUp: His Power Berries follow this trope, but sometimes even deconstructs it, as while Pac-Man clearly prefers using Power Berries in most combat situations over his default skills and abilities, not only do power berries run on a time limit, but Pac-Man often can only carry a handful of Poweer Berries at a time and some foes have managed to disarm him of his power berries, which has often left him vulnerable.

[[folder: Cylindria]]
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cyl.png]]
!!!!!!Voiced by: Andrea Libman (EN), Eri Inagawa (JP)
Cylindria is the brains of the team and a bit of a tomboy, but she'll do anything to help her best friends, Pac-Man and Spiral.
!!Tropes associated with Cylindria include:
* AffectionateNickname: She goes by "Cyli" to her friends, despite the pun (pronounced "Silly").
* BettyAndVeronica: The Betty to Pac's Archie and Pinky's Veronica.
* CurtainsMatchTheWindows: In the sense that her eyes are pink like her the streaks in her hair.
* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: One of the earlier episodes depicts her saying she loves Pac, but aside from the Loves My Alter Ego example below and Pinky's perception of her, this was never brought up again.
* EmpoweredBadassNormal: Whenever she eats a Power Berry.
* {{Fangirl}}: A fan of Pac-Pong, and an even bigger fan of Pac's aunt, who is known as the greatest player in the game.
%%* GirlishPigtails
* IronicNickname: Even though she's nicknamed "Cyli" (pronounced "Silly"), she almost always takes things seriously.
* LovesMyAlterEgo: A minor variant; In "That Smarts," she finds [[SuperIntelligence Brainiac]] Pac "kinda cute."
* NeverMessWithGranny: Said this in the {{Filler}} episode, Pac Van Wrinkle.
* OnlySaneWoman: Can be this at times being more matter-of-fact, [[NotSoAboveItAll though on occasion even she has some stupid moments.]]
* PerkyGoth: Has dark hair, wears black gloves and boots, and displays an occasionally sadistic sense of humor, but is very jolly and peppy.
* PinkMeansFeminine: Has pink skin, glasses, and striped socks.
%%* TheSmartGal
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: She is a tomboy to Pinky's girly girl.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Spiral]]
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/spiral2artwork.png]]
!!!!!!Voiced by: Samuel Vincent (EN), Creator/AnriKatsu (JP)
Spiral is one of Pac-Man's friends from ''Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures''. He is a red oval-shaped Pac-Person with blue hair.
!!Tropes associated with Spiral include
* BigBrotherInstinct: He's very protective of his best friend Pac.
%%* BigEater: Second only to Pac.
* TheBigGuy: He's the biggest of the main three
* DreadfulMusician: Plays the harmonica poorly.
* EmpoweredBadassNormal: Whenever he eats a power berry
* LovableJock: Is a big guy with a big heart.
* MeaningfulName: His Hair has Spirals in them.
[[/folder]]

!Allies
[[folder: Sir Cumference]]
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sir_cumference.png]]
!!!!!!Voiced by: Creator/IanJamesCorlett (EN), Shuhei Takubo (JP)
An old friend of President Spheros. He provides most of the gadgets and tech for Pac's team.
!!Tropes for Sir Ci include:
* CoolOldGuy: A wacky but quite wise old scientist.
* DecemberDecemberRomance: With Pac's Aunt Spheria.
%%* DitzyGenius: He can come off at this at times
%%* EinsteinHair
* {{Expy}}: Bears a striking resemblance to [[Manga/AstroBoy Dr. Elefun.]]
* LongLived: Is somehow still alive and kicking in "Rip Van Packle", even though it takes place 70 years later and he was ''already'' an elderly man in the present era. [[spoiler: Of course, as it turns out the episode was only a dream, he might've only lived that long because Pac needed someone like him to find a solution to end his BadFuture nightmare.]]
* MissXPun: Sir Cumference's name is a pun on "circumference" and he's a GadgeteerGenius.
* ParentalSubstitute: Becomes a bit of a surrogate father to Pac-Man.
* PunnyName: His name is play on ''circumference''.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Especially when compared to nearly every other adult on the show.
* RetiredBadass: He was a former Freedom fighter.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: President Stratos Spheros]]
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/president_spheros.png]]
The president of Pac-World and brother of Betrayus, who often asks for Pac-Man and co.'s help in protecting the city from ghost attacks.
!!Tropes for President Spheros include
%%* AlliterativeName
* BigGood: While a bit arrogant and shifty, he is still a pretty good guy and is definitely a more benevolent ruler than his brother.
* ButtMonkey: Takes a lot of abuse from both villains and collateral damage during Pac-Man's fights.
* CoolOldGuy: Albeit not as much as Sir Cumference.
* NotSoAboveItAll: When he gets a protection bubble that keeps pushing his bodyguards away, he's utterly gleeful at tackling them out of his way, giggling like a child.
* OurPresidentsAreDifferent: A combination of Target, Personable, and Buffoon.
* PunnyName: His name is based of Stratosphere.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Often [[DownplayedTrope downplayed]] considering how pompous and easily fooled he is, but can still be relied on when it counts.
* RunningGag: His bodyguards have a habit of tackling him down to protect him, more often ending up restraining him instead.
* SharedFamilyQuirks: Downplayed, but as it turns out, both he and his brother have a penchant for deceit. Unlike Betrayus however, he uses his skills for benign purposes such as keeping the Repository away from the ghosts' reach. He's also capable of being just as immature and impatient as Betrayus sometimes.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Spheria Suprema]]
[[quoteright:325:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/aunt_spheria_2.jpg]]
!!!!!!Voiced by: Creator/AshleighBall (EN)
Pac-Man's aunt, a former Freedom Fighter, and retired Pac-Pong champion. Spheria took over raising Pac-Man when his parents disappeared.
!!Tropes for Spheria
* TheAce: She's so skilled at Pac-Pong that the only other player that's been able to challenge her was Betrayus.
%%* AlliterativeName
* CoolOldLady: She may be retired, but she can still pack a punch and has a noble heart.
* CoolAunt: Probably the person Pac-Man can rely on the most.
* DecemberDecemberRomance: With Sir Cumference.
* MamaBear: Here's a tip: ''DO NOT'' screw Pac-Man over, Mr. Strictler learned this the hard way when Spheria intimidated him into promising to be fairer with his assessment of Pac's driving.
* NeverMessWithGranny: She's shown more than once that age hasn't slowed her down.
* RetiredBadass: having served as a Freedom Fighter during the Pac-World Wars certainly counts.
* TomboyishPonytail: In her younger days.
[[/folder]]

!Villains
[[folder: Lord Betrayus]]
[[quoteright:313:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/betrayus.png]]
!!!!!!Voiced by: Samuel Vincent (EN), Mogami Tsuguo (JP)
The primary villain of the series and Pac-Man's arch-nemesis, Betrayus was once a general beside his brother, Spheros. However, an unprecedented attack on the populous in a bid for power resulted in he and his army being stripped from their bodies and banished to the Netherworld. Upon regaining contact with the surface, Betrayus--who now rules the Netherworld--enacts nonstop attempts to defeat Pac-Man, so that he may finally conquer Pac-World.

!!Tropes associated with Betrayus include:
* AmazonChaser: He's got a thing for Spheria Suprema, a [[RetiredBadass retired soldier]] who previously defeated him in a match of Pac-pong.
* ArtificialLimbs: Since ghosts don't have actual hands, Betrayus augments this by wearing belted gloves with ''[[WolverineClaws sharp metal fingers.]]''
* BadBoss: Betrayus is a jerk to almost everybody, and his minions are no exception.
* BigBad: The main villain of the series, who commands all and answers to none.
** However, it's been implied that [[spoiler:someone or something is on a higher level than he]].
* BewareTheSillyOnes: You see this hammy, overreacting villain? Yeah, we would like to remind you that he has openly displayed absolutely zero qualms with genocide en masse, torturing his enemies, and bringing about TheEndOfTheWorldAsWeKnowIt. As far as he's concerned, he's ''dead'', why should ''he'' care?
* CainAndAbel: The evil, conniving brother to series BigGood, President Spheros.
* ConsummateLiar: [[spoiler: Claims he's the one who took down Pac's parents, but if the Pacinator's dialogue is anything, all he ever did was take the credit while the Pacinator was hired by someone else, possibly the Pointy Heads.]]
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: At least, he used to be this; while he still had many of the flaws he currently possesses, he was also a general in Pacworld's army who started a coup and came dangerously close to succeeding. Not only that, but he was also a professional athlete who was good enough to almost defeat Spheria, a player who was very talented herself to the point of becoming a legend. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately for Pac and his allies) the "hidden badass" part has more or less [[VillainDecay disappeared]] in current times.
* DastardlyWhiplash: Betrayus has shades of this in his look complete with Mustache and BeardOfEvil.
* DeadpanSnarker: Most frequently when in the middle of a SlouchOfVillainy, and most commonly to Dr. Buttocks.
-->'''Betrayus:''' ''(Listening to Buttocks prattle about his latest invention.)'' Gosh. ''Wow.'' How will I ''ever'' come down from this techno high.
* DirtyCoward: Betrayus often runs away from Pac instead of facing him head on.
* EvenBadMenLoveTheirMamas: When his mother scolds him for hypnotizing Spheros and posessing her and orders him back to the netherworld, he obeys.
* EvilIsBurningHot: To be expected, when the villain's lair is a FireAndBrimstoneHell.
* EvilUncle: His mother offers to adopt Pac-Man as her grandson. A later episode reveals that he and his brother already have a niece by their previously unmentioned sister.
* {{Expy}}: Probably unintentional due to obscurity, but he shares a lot of similarities with Klogg from ''VideoGame/TheNeverhood'' (hammy, sharp-fingered, red and white colors, has a good guy brother) and Lucius from ''WesternAnimation/JimmyTwoShoes'' (ruler of Hell-in-everything-but-name, fire powers, attached to a stuffed pink rabbit).
** Also, Lord Shen from ''WesternAnimation/KungFuPanda2'', particularly the association with fire, red/white/black colors, [[ArtificialLimbs metal]] [[WolverineClaws talons]], and the supposed involvement in the genocide of the hero's entire race [[spoiler:who may not have been eradicated after all.]]
* FreudianExcuse: Had a HilariouslyAbusiveChildhood when he was little and was either ignored, outperformed by his brother, or harmed indirectly because of his brother. True, it doesn't excuse any of his current actions, but it does explain why he's a [[PsychopathicManchild whiny, tantrum-throwing,]] [[TheGreenEyedMonster cheating, lying,]] [[ItsAllAboutMe glory hog]] who wants to be [[EvilOverlord important]] and DOES NOT want to [[NeverMyFault fail anymore.]]
* GladIThoughtOfIt: He regularly commands someone to come up with a plan and takes credit for said plan. However if the plan goes awry, [[NeverMyFault he forces all blame upon the plan's originator, who likely had no choice in the first place to concoct it.]]
* HamToHamCombat: Put him in a room with Buttocks or Pac-Man and have some popcorn handy.
* ItsAllAboutMe: Betrayus has this general mindset. [[GladIThoughtOfIt He takes credit]] for bright ideas his minions make, throws fits when he isn't acknowledged in various schemes, and [[NeverMyFault passes blame onto others]] when he himself fails.
* LargeHam / EvilIsHammy: "'''''OKAY, THAT'S IT!''' I'm switching to satellite!''"
* {{Leitmotif}}: Has one, sort of a spooky-sounding march. Happens to be one of the best [=BGMs=] in the show too. Listen for it when he appears in the first episode!
* MeaningfulName / NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast: To quote [[http://www.bogleech.com/pacman.html this article on the series]], "If your mother named you something like '''Betrayus''', could you honestly go through life and not feel obligated to live up to it?"
* NeverMyFault: Betrayus often blames others for whatever misfortune happens to him despite it usually being himself who caused it.
* NoCelebritiesWereHarmed: His name is a pun on that of [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Petraeus former CIA Director David Petraeus]].
* PerkyGoth: Kind of. Even Dr. Buttocks describes his decorating style as "gothic," and while he may be the villain, he's so dang excitable and ''goofy''.
* PlayingWithFire: Despite being a touch whiny, Betrayus has been implied and supported in being the most powerful of all Fire Ghosts, perhaps even outclassing the Underworld Dragons--to the point where he can incinerate flammable materials through a touch if he's not careful.
* PowerIncontinence: Betrayus is a fire ghost and can't prevent his fire from burning down letters and maps he holds before he has a chance to read them.
* PsychopathicManChild: Betrayus often throws tantrums and blames others for his own failures like a spoiled kid. On the flipside, if his word is anything to go by, he most definitely had a hand in the near-genocide of the yellow Pac-Worlders. [[spoiler:Not only he didn't have a hand in that, he doesn't even know who hired the Pacinator to do that job.]]
* OrcusOnHisThrone: Betrayus has outright stated that it's his job to have others do the dirty work, as he refuses to leave the Netherworld--and leave himself vulnerable--unless he sees it an absolute necessity. [[JustifiedTrope Justified]] in the fact that the ghosts were soldiers before their exile; Betrayus was the highest ranking officer of the rogue faction as a general, meaning it was ''literally'' his job to stay at the base and manage the troops.
* RealMenWearPink: Sleeps with a pink stuffed bunny.
* {{Satan}}: An obvious expy of this trope; being a sharp-fanged evil spirit that commands the Pac-World equivalent of Hell, and on top of it has an extreme affinity for fire.
* SoreLoser: He never got over losing a pac-pong tournament years ago.
* VillainDecay: While Betrayus has had a pretty cushy unchallenged rule in the Netherworld, it had the affect of him becoming rather lax. While he definitely still commands an undeniable level of respect from the Netherworld on the whole, many seem to only follow him in fear of his power over fire, or simply because they want their bodies back from the repository.
* VillainousCrush: Heavily implied to have this towards Spheria in "Pac-Pong Fever", and out right confirmed in "That Smarts!".
* VillainousGlutton: He is often seen dining on Netherworld food and frequently orders his butler to make him lunch.
* WorthyOpponent: Back when Betrayus had a body, he was said to be the only pac-pong player who had a chance to defeat Spheria.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Butt-ler]]
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/2_1_2.png]]
Betrayus' personal servant. Like his twin brother, Dr. Buttocks, he is a purple-gray Ghost with a butt-shaped head. During the Pac-War, he was known as Corporal Heineyhead and worked as a spy for Betrayus. He hates his twin brother pleasing his master.

* AffablyEvil: He's genuinely polite to everyone, due to being a butler. Pac Man takes the time to talk to him when he tests out his brother inventions out on the field.
* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: [[spoiler: At the end of "The Nerd Is The Word", he tells Pacster what Betrayus will do to him after that Pac and friends spent the entire episode treating him better than Betrayus ever did.]]
* ButtMonkey: Poor old Butt-ler never gets a break.
* EmbarrassingLastName: He was known as Corporal ''[[UnfortunateName Heineyhead]]'', which would frequently make his last name the "butt" of many jokes...
* IdenticalTwinIDTag: To differentiate from his twin brother, Butt-ler is purple, wears a hat, has a small mustache, and has a very butler-like haircut.
* MundaneMadeAwesome: somehow makes a plunger one of the most awesome things to pose with when Betrayus asks him to unclog the ghosts cramming into the way to Pac-World, flipping through the air and jutting it out like a spear.
* PetTheDog: Got one of these in "The Nerd Is The Word". Pacster, Cylindria and Spiral spend their time with him and make an effort to make him feel included while he pretends to be a transfer student. [[spoiler: Even more when it's revealed at the end of the episode that Pac already knew he was Butt-ler in disguise, but still treated him as a friend because he knows he doesn't have a choice beyond obeying Betrayus. He even gets to leave with a medal he won at the school dance as a reward.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Dr. Buttocks]]
[[quoteright:174:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/imagesatgf7bw6.jpg]]
!!!!!!Voiced by: Creator/BrianDrummond (EN), Gunpei Sakamoto (JP)
The Netherworld's greatest mad scientist and Butt-ler's twin brother. He specializes in monster experimentation in hopes of achieving Pac-World domination. He sometimes suspects that the Ghost Gang are working with Pac-Man, but has had no luck convincing Betrayus of this. Dr. Buttocks wants all of the workers to get out of his way.

* ArtificialLimbs[=/=]RedRightHand: Dr. Buttocks' right arm is a pincer.
* BewareTheSillyOnes: While he may be a ButtMonkey and stereotypical mad scientist, he also nearly wiped out all life on the planet via Ghosteroid, which he was able to summon through a scheme no more difficult than any other he's ever prepared.
* BlindWithoutEm: He can't see if he loses his glasses.
* CreativeSterility: He's more than once been accused of having this, due to most of his inventions being slightly-modified ripoffs of Sir Cumference's. That said, there are rare times when he actually does come up with something original.
* TheDragon: For all intents and purposes, he appears to be second-in-command of the Netherworld forces.
* FlatEarthAtheist: Dr. Buttocks doesn't believe in witches or Vamp Pacs despite being a ghost himself. Nor does he think highly of Pac-Fu.
* IdenticalTwinIDTag: To differentiate from his twin brother, Dr. Buttock is blue, wears glasses, has a clawed glove, a bigger mustache, and [[VideoGame/MegaManClassic Dr. Wily-like]] hair.
%%* MadScientist
* SiblingRivalry: Dr. Buttocks often doesn't get along very well with his twin brother.

[[folder: The Ghost Gang]]
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ghosts_gang.png]]
[[caption-width-right:300: Inky (left), Clyde (behind center), Blinky (center front), and Pinky (right)]]
The group of four technicolored spectres infamous for serving as the classic video game villains, Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde were carried into the new series. In this continuity, rather than being overtly evil, they serve as a group of ghosts that help Pac and his friends out, in exchange for getting their bodies back (they've had enough of the Netherworld).
!!Tropes associated with the Ghost Gang include:
* AdaptationalHeroism: In comparison to how they were initially antagonists in the games
* BeautyEqualsGoodness: They're a little less scary-looking than the average ghost (most notably, they're missing the [[JaggedMouth jagged mouths]] most of their brethren have).
* CompositeCharacter:
** Blinky is a mixture of the two Clydes from both the Hanna-Babara cartoon and the "World" series. (voice tone and attitude).
** Pinky is also a mix of both Sue from the Hanna-Babara cartoon (snarky attitude) and Pinky from the "World" series (having a crush on the main hero).
* ConflictingLoyalty: The Ghost Gang often have this when deciding whether they should [[MyMasterRightOrWrong follow Betrayus]], especially when he asks them to personally do one of his schemes, or help [[TrueCompanions Pac-Man and his friends]] to thwart said scheme. They usually side with Pac-Man but will sometimes do Betrayus' scheme either because they find that it'll not hurt anyone or is impossible to do, or because they were tricked into doing it in the first place due to Betrayus not divulging enough details.
** When it looked like Betrayus had a chance of winning, Inky wanted to work with the big part of it. (Luckily, the other ghosts were having none of that.)
* EliteFour: Though not always so intimidating.
** TheLeader: Blinky
** TheLancer: Inky
** TheBigGuy: Clyde
** TheHeart: Pinky
* HeelFaceRevolvingDoor: Though they may be in legion with Betrayus, they would rather be on the heroes' side.
* OlderThanTheyLook: They act like and sound like they're about the same age as Pac and his friends but they are apart of Betrayus' army which was active and defeated by the time Pac was still in diapers.

!!Blinky
!!!!!!Voiced by: Creator/IanJamesCorlett (EN), Kazuhiro Fusegawa (JP)
!!!Tropes for Blinky
%%* DeadpanSnarker
* FieryRedhead: Well, technically, he doesn't have hair, but he is red!
* HiddenDepths: Blinky is a Pac-Fu master. He's never done it because of Pac-Fu's code of humility and its use being solely for Self-Defense.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: He's rude, short-tempered and mischievous, but does everything for his friends.
* TheLeader: When Blinky gives an order or makes a decision, nobody's about to question it. He shows leadership traits across the board, from type I to IV. Completely the opposite of his cowardly original Hannah-Barbera self.
* TheNapoleon: Blinky may be the visibly smallest member of the bunch, but he calls the shots and has a ''lot'' of chutzpah about him.
* OutOfFocus: A downplayed example, but through the first half of season 2, he doesn't get any lines whatsoever for some reason. However, by mid-season, he not only speaks in virtually every episode he's in, he gets a major role in "The Pac Be With You".
* VitriolicBestBuds: With Inky.

!!Pinky
!!!!!!Voiced by: Creator/AshleighBall (EN), Creator/KiyonoYasuno (JP)
!!!Tropes for Pinky
* BerserkButton: Whenever someone threatens to hurt Pac, or when he's with another girl (like Cylindra), or someone ridicules her love for him (also when he doesn't return it), or when Inky tries to flee when things are looking bad.
* BettyAndVeronica: The Veronica to Pac's Archie and Cylindria's Betty. Only difference is that Cylindria doesn't have a crush on Pac, not that Pinky even care to know.
* CuteGhostGirl: Very, unlike her tough, but stupid, evil male counterpart from the original Hannah-Barbera series.
* ClingyJealousGirl: Constantly acts like this toward Pac whenever he's around Cylindria.
%%* TheDitz
* HulkingOut: Can become a Pink Cyclops Ghost through combined form of jealousy and rage.
* {{Hypocrite}}: In “Betrayus Turns The Heat Up”, Pinky criticizes Cylindria for being “possessive” of Pac. This is despite Pinky flirting with Pac during nearly every scene and acting like an obsessive {{Yandere}} whenever Pac is criticized or threatened.
* PinkMeansFeminine: The [[SmurfettePrinciple sole female member of the Ghost Gang]] who happens to be pink.
* SpotlightStealingSquad: Not to the main characters, but she is the most prominently featured ghost out of the ghost gang, and is often the only member to appear in an episode.
* StalkerWithACrush: She’s ''very'' protective of Pac whenever he’s around, and will flirt with him at pretty much any given opportunity despite Pac not reciprocating. This is PlayedForLaughs in “The Bride of Grinder”, with Pinky chasing Pac throughout the episode, and becomes a plot point in “Stand By Your Pac-Man”. Where Pinky is [[ClingyJealousGirl so]] [[GreenEyedMonster jealous]] of Cylindria, that she inadvertently puts Pac and Spiral in danger.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: She is a girly girl to Cylindra's tomboy.
* ViolentlyProtectiveGirlfriend: Pinky gets rather aggressive if anyone dares harm Pac-Man, even if that someone is Betrayus.
* {{Yandere}}: Definitely shows shades of this occasionally.

!!Inky
!!!!!!Voiced by: Lee Tockar (EN), Mai Todo (JP)
!!!Tropes for Inky
* AntiHero: Inky seems the least upset member of the Ghost Gang during the events of "Pac to the Future".
* ButtMonkey: He is more often on the receiving end of adversity than his pals, especially having been eaten at least three times by Pac-man (though not on purpose).
* DeadpanSnarker: Much smarter than his Hanna-Barbera counterpart.
* RedOniBlueOni: The blue to Blinky's red. Heck, they're even colored that way!
* VitriolicBestBuds: With Blinky.

!!Clyde
!!!!!!Voiced by: Creator/BrianDrummond (EN), Gunpei Sakamoto (JP)
!!!Tropes for Clyde
* TheDitz: To a extent. His original counterpart is the leader, and much smarter and bossier.
** DitzyGenius: He's quite wise in some things, like speaking 9 languages, [[TalksToSquirrels including monster.]]
* GentleGiant: Clyde's kind of a big fat softy.
* HalfTheManHeUsedToBe: Clyde often splits in half vertically but remains fine due to being a ghost.
* OddNameOut: The only one in the gang whose name isn't Inky or anything that ends in "inky".
%%* SesquipedalianLoquaciousness
* YouJustHadToSayIt: Clyde has a tendency to accidentally give Betrayus ideas towards problems in whatever scheme he has.

[[folder: The Pointy Heads]]
A race of gray squid-like aliens with pointy heads. Their leader is Apex and their goal is to enslave Pac-World and [[spoiler: capture Pac-Man]].

* AlienAnimals: The Pointy Heads are cartoonish squids, but gray and with pointy heads.
* AlienInvasion: "Invasion of the Pointy Heads". They even team up and backstab Betrayus and the rest of the ghosts.
* [[{{Expy}} Expies]]: Of the aliens from the classic ''Space Invaders'' arcade game.
* HumongousMecha: They use giant cyclop mecha.
* KnightOfCerebus: [[DownplayedTrope Downplayed]] given Apex and his servants are not immune to slapstick shenanigans, but still things always get more serious when the Pointy Heads are involved.
* [[LethalJokeItem Lethal Joke Weapon]]: A minor version. The weapons used during "Invasion of the Pointy Heads" malfunctioned and caused allergies in whomever was zapped. Was still able to subjugate the Pac-Worlders and even the Ghosts for a while.
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: They can't stand the sight of floating eyeballs Pac belches.

!!Apex
!!!!!!Voiced by: Colin Murdock
* HiddenAgendaVillain: While he's admitted to using the power from yellow orbs, he hasn't said anything about how he's going to use them.
* ItsPersonal: He's this to Pac-Man, being the one responsible for his parents' disappearance.
* SmugSnake: A very vain and smug alien.
* VileVillainSaccharineShow: While not without his goofy moments, Apex is a ''much'' more competent and malicious villain than Betrayus could ever hope to be.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Obtuse]]
!!!!!!Voiced by: Lee Tockar (EN), Kenji Utsumi (JP, Episode 9), Hideaki Tezuka (JP, Episode 40 and 41)

Pac-World's chief crime lord. He has worked for Betrayus on at least two occasions.

* PresidentEvil: He manages to get himself elected as President (with Betrayus' help) in "Peace Without Slime" and "The Ghost Behind the Throne." His first order is to establish "peace" with the ghosts, by allowing them into Pac-World.
* TheQuisling: He sides with Betrayus, helping him and his ghost army to take over Pac-World.
* VillainWithGoodPublicity: Obtuse being a crime lord seems to be a very well-kept secret, as no other Pac-Worlder is aware of his criminal ways. He even manages to make a successful run for President with no references to any criminal activities being brought up by the general public.

Spheros and Betrayus' niece through their sister, who resides in Pac-Tokyo. She comes to visit Pacopolis in "New Girl in Town."

* BettyAndVeronica: Seems to be replacing Cyli in the role of Betty.
* ThirdOptionLoveInterest: For Pac-Man.
* GratuitousJapanese: In English versions. It was averted in Japanese versions though.
* NiceGirl: Very sweet and kind.

[[folder: Skeebo]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/skeebo.png]]

!!!!!!Voiced by: Matt Hill (EN), Creator/SubaruKimura (JP)
One of Pac-Man's classmates, who constantly bullies Pac.
!!Tropes associated with Skeebo include:
%%* ButtMonkey
* BringMyBrownPants: In "Meanie Genie", when he gets frightened by ghosts, for a split second a [[PottyFailure puddle appears beneath him.]]
* ComplainingAboutRescuesTheyDontLike: In "Heebo Skeebo", after Pac saved him from Betrayus, he complained about Pac taking so long.
* DirtyCoward: When the ghosts first invaded Pac World, Skeebo abandoned Cylindria (His then-girlfriend) to save himself.
* FantasticRacism: His original motive for bullying Pac was because he was yellow.
* FlatCharacter: Like most media bullies, Skeebo exists only to give Pac a hard time. That's really all there is to him.
* GreenEyedMonster: Shows shades of this towards Pac, particularly in "Heebo Skeebo."
* {{Hypocrite}}: He hates the color yellow, even though his ''hair'' is yellow.
* HiddenDepths: In "Invasion of the Pointy Heads", he's shown being a surprisingly good singer, the first song he sings even implies that he has some grudging respect for Pac-Man but doesn't want to admit it outright.
* JerkJock: Natch.
** While he may have the "jerk" part down, he's not really much of a jock, sports-wise; Every time he's shown playing a sport, he fails at it miserably.
* JerkassHasAPoint: For all his bullying of Pac, he's makes a valid point that Pac usually eats all the food in the cafeteria that the other students want too.
* UngratefulBastard: Despite the fact that Pac has saved Pac World (And by extension, Skeebo), countless times, Skeebo is still a jerk to him.
