!! Jesse Ridgway (aka [=McJuggerNuggets=], Psycho Kid, or Baby Brudda)
[[quoteright:217:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jesse5.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:217:"Hey, there, Juggies, it's your old pal [=McJuggerNuggets=] here!"]]
The long-suffering owner of the [=McJuggerNuggets=] channel. Jesse is a young man in his early twenties who wants nothing more than to play video games. Unfortunately for him, however, he lives with a father with a HairTriggerTemper who wants him to get a real job and often breaks his stuff.

* AesopAmnesia: Jesse often forgets about what happened to him when he made a poor decision and he continues to do the same thing without learning anything.
* AmnesiacHero: Starts the sequel series as one of these.
* AntiHero: He is a JerkWithAHeartOfGold at his best moments, but he can be a bit selfish and focus more on himself than others. Likewise, he has several PetTheDog moments to keep him from becoming the outright VillainProtagonist.
* AntiRoleModel: Given how angry, immature, disrespectful, manipulative, and entitled he is, we are not supposed to behave like him. He's especially this in his job hunting videos where he is incredibly defiant, difficult, and a screw-up that there's no wonder he keeps getting turned down.
* BerserkButton:
** Stating that he would be like his father is Jesse's biggest pet-peeve as he does not wish to act like his father in the future.
** A lot of Jesse's freakouts involve his dad taking away and destroying his games.
** He loses it when someone blames Video Games for tragedy.
* BreakTheCutie[=/=][[BreakTheHaughty Haughty]]: Likely the premise of the Psycho Series.
** It takes a much DarkerAndEdgier path after the divorce where [[TheSociopath his father]] state's that he's embarrassed to have him as a son and his [[JerkAss mother]] getting corrupted by [[TheCorrupter Melissa]] to [[TookALevelInJerkass take a level in jerkass]] to the point of being annoyed with the camera, siding with her best friend instead of him, and demanding that her son to leave her alone.
* ButtMonkey: '''Oh, dear God,''' he is this in the [[TearJerker tragic sense]]. Considering that [[TheSociopath his father]] keeps breaking his stuff as the act for "disciplining" him and [[BigBrotherBully Jeffery Jr.]] likes to make his younger brother's life a living hell, it's hard not to feel sorry for him.
* CallingTheOldManOut: To his mother. Justified in that he's seen his mother [[TookALevelInJerkass Taking a Level In Jerkass]] after moving into [[ToxicFriendInfluence Melissa's]] house. Though it took Melissa to keep pushing his buttons enough times to unleash a TheReasonYouSuckSpeech to both his mother and Melissa.
--> Jesse: "What happened to the mom that I used to love? What happened? As soon you came to this house she started poisoning your mind!"
** He also confronts his dad in [[spoiler:"Psycho Kid Kills Father."]]
* CatchPhrase: "Hey, there, [[FanCommunityNickname Juggies]], it's your old pal [=McJuggerNuggets=] here!"
* CameraFiend: Has a camera with him, much to his mother and father's dismay.
* DeadpanSnarker: Can be this, whether or not he's angry.
* [[DramaQueen Drama King]]: He has the tendency to overreact over small things such as being pranked by his brother, his car being painted pink, and thinking no one is there for him.
* DrivenToSuicide: In the last episode, [[spoiler: after he kills his father he attempts to hang himself due to his guilt]]. Subverted, as he can't bring himself to go through with it.
* EntitledBastard: Even after Uncle Larry, or his mother, or his friends, ''[[AbusiveParents or even his father]]'' do something nice to him, he'll act [[UngratefulBastard ungrateful and thinks he has the right to everything]] which causes many strained relationships around him.
* {{Flanderization}}: Jesse gets dumber and crazier as the series goes on.
* HairTriggerTemper: It runs in the Ridgway family. He's actually been diagnosed as bipolar.
* HeartbrokenBadass: While the ''Badass'' part is questionable. There's telltale signs that he feels completely heartbroken after his mother called him while cleaning up Aunt Jackie's house demanding that he stays away from Melissa's and to leave her alone. The most gut wrenching of her decision was that Jesse feels that his own mother sided with Melissa instead of him.
* TheHero: A rather dark and cynical one. The series focuses on him tries to make his life living by playing video games.
* HypocriticalHumor: At first, he didn't want the Big Brudda T-shirts to be made at the Juggies Store out of jealousy. This coming from someone who already made shirts of his own dad and got punished for it (to be fair, it was a gigantic form of DisproportionateRetribution). Fortunately, he manages to reconcile with Larry and Theresa and admit his faults.
* IdiotHero: He's the hero and is prone to making dumbass decisions.
* IAmNotMyFather: Routinely states that he will not be like his father. Saying that he's going to be like his father is his biggest pet-peeve.
* IHaveNoSon: Inverted with his mother after [[CallingTheOldManOut calling her out]]. Though he genuinely misses the personality of mother before moving into Melissa's.
* ItsAllAboutMe: He can act very self-centered such as putting his own needs before others and not thinking about others, except himself which has caused many strained relationships in his family and friends.
* {{Jerkass}}: He can be one, though he claims that it's only when he's provoked first. Sometimes this is indeed the case, while other times do have him starting conflicts (or [[DisproportionateRetribution going overboard in his retaliation]]). The fandom seems to be split on whether they view him as having [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold a heart of gold]] or [[JerkWithAHeartOfJerk not]], though.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: He has his moments of kindness, such as having more loving respect for his mother, Uncle Larry, even Tom, who he's always at odds with. There's also his relationship with Juliette, who he loves dearly and even apologized for arguing with her after being stressed and angry at his father who ruined their date.
* JerkWithAHeartOfJerk: On the other hand, there are times that suggest that Jesse may indeed be a ManipulativeBastard like his father says he is. Many examples of this exist, but the most recent one would be when he threw Corn under the bus and claimed that he was solely responsible for the videos after his dad found out about them in "Psycho Dad Watches [=McJuggerNuggets=]." Corn ''did'' indeed film them, but only because Jesse told him to. After Corn [[WhatTheHellHero calls him out on this]], Jesse attempts to make himself the sole victim in the situation and asks Corn to just "take this one for the team."
* JockDadNerdSon: The Nerd Son to his Jock Dad.
* LikeFatherLikeSon: He starts to act extremely angry, destructive, and controlling like his father, which is one of the reasons Terry left in the first place.
* LoveMartyr: In a parent-child way. The dynamic between himself and his mother after moving in with Melissa's. Jesse loves his mother dearly and genuinely cares for her safety and well-being. While on the other side, Terry wants him to [[DontYouDarePityMe leave her alone]], [[TurnOffTheCamera have no cameras around her presence]] and [[LackOfEmpathy cutting off any kind of emotional support for Jesse and disregarding any quality time they had as being taken place a long time ago]].
* ManChild: Is in his early twenties and would much rather play video games all day than get a job. Though he ''does'' make money from his channel, as well as streaming (though he rarely ever actually streams).
* ManipulativeBastard: His dad routinely calls him manipulative. The viewers were shown the more manipulative side in the lead up on Operation Pitfall.
* MenDontCry: Averted. He cries a lot. Sometimes, it's understandable, but other times it's in ridiculous situations.
* NeverMyFault: A good chunk of the time Jesse says that he only witnesses the chaos that happens with him, his brother and his dad. While this is mostly true in the earlier Psycho videos, he clearly has been causing some of the problems that have happened in his life recently.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: When he stalked and filmed Terry and Jeffrey Sr.'s meet up at the local mall. Judging by the coldness of Jesse's mother in TAKING OUT THE TRASH stating that Jesse shouldn't have been there, especially with the camera as it's not his business.
* OutOfFocus: Hasn't been appearing lately in the videos.
* PermaStubble: Often neglects to shave, leading to this.
** Around the time of the farm series, Jesse began actively growing a beard.
* PlayingSick: He's been accused of this as of late. During the North Carolina trip in the summer, he caught mono and as a result was limited in what he was able to do. As of September, he still occasionally plays the mono card long after he should have recovered from it.
** It's largely theorized that Jesse is a [[{{Hypochondria}} Hypochondriac]] that he claims to still feel pain in his lower abdominal region yet MRI scans and doctor visits found nothing conclusive.
* PrecisionFStrike: Even though Jesse already swears a lot, it was pretty unexpected for him to call Aunt Melissa a "dumb cunt" in "BOILING POINT".
* PsychopathicManchild: He can become a psychopath like his father and act extremely childish at times.
* SanitySlippage: Q&A #29 seems to show Jesse starting to lose his marbles due to his father becoming more abusive and controlling. Subsequent vlogs show him basically going over the DespairEventHorizon and completely losing it. This went on until he snapped and [[spoiler: committed patricide]].
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: Jesse WAS ready to buy Buzz's house, but nope! [[YankTheDogsChain Psycho Dad Subverts this when he steals the money for the down payment]], ultimately forcing Jesse to stay with him. Psycho Dad's stated reason was royalties, but many theorize it's because of his control-freak tendencies.
* SnarkToSnarkCombat: With Melissa.
** Later on in the Farm Series, with his Uncle Chris. Though ends up getting physically assaulted.
* SirSwearsALot: He's got a rather colorful vocabulary.
* SkewedPriorities: Oh where to begin with this kid.
** A notable one is when Uncle Chris lowered the amount Jesse has to pay to Warrior's Truck, leaving him with $1200. Instead of taking up his advice or do what any sane person would do living with TheSociopath by quickly finding a place to move out, he spends it on three consoles to use for a giveaway and expand his streaming hardware.
* TheDogBitesBack: [[spoiler:"Psycho Kid Kills Father."]]
* TooDumbToLive: He can be prone to making bone-headed decisions that cause a great deal of problems for him and other people. Such examples include bringing the camera to his workplaces where he tries getting a job at, not listening to other people's advice, and spending the $1,200 Uncle Chris gave him on three [=PS4=] giveaways instead of an apartment.
* WellDoneSonGuy: Is shown to desperately seek his father's approval, and is jealous of Jeffrey Jr. for being the favored son in his eyes.
* WhatTheHellHero:
** Reaction by many of his viewers in on his prank on [=BigBrudda=]'s Car and his attitude to Larry in "THROWN OUT OF LARRY'S".
** He got this TENFOLD over his treatment of his friends in Psycho Kid Submerges Motorcycle.

[[folder:Jeffrey Ridgway, Jr. ([=BigBrudda=])]]
!! Jeffrey Ridgway, Jr. (aka [=BigBrudda=], or Psycho Brother)
[[quoteright:256:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jeffrey.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:256:"Hey there, little bruddas, Big Brudda Jeffrey here!"]]
Jesse's older brother, whom his father appears to favor greatly. Unlike Jesse, he has a "real" job (as an accountant) and regularly works out. He films most of the Psycho videos, a fact that he's not quick to let Jesse forget. In several videos, he's taken on a more antagonistic role, arguably replacing his father as the "main antagonist" of the videos, however, he has since TookALevelInKindness.

* TheAce: Arguably this compared to Jesse.
* BerserkButton: Whatever you do, DO NOT touch him or his stuff.
* BigBad: Arguably stepping into this role. Jeffrey's been a much more active antagonist to Jesse than his dad recently, with his dad being more of a tool for Jeffrey to prank Jesse and get him in trouble.
* BigBrotherBully: Shows shades of this.
* BigBrotherMentor: In later videos, especially after "PSYCHO KID MOVES OUT," Jeffrey has taken up this role.
* BrokenAce: Also arguable, given [[spoiler: his backstory, where it's revealed that he's put up with their father's destructive rampages and made to basically allow [[StageMom Jeffrey Sr. to live vicariously through him]], and the only reason he's able to stay on Jeffrey Sr.'s good side is because he's had a lifetime to learn how to deal with him.]]
* CatchPhrase: "Hey there, little bruddas, Big Brudda Jeffrey here!"
* DeadpanSnarker: He's very sarcastic, especially towards Jesse.
* EvilLaugh: Sports one each time he torments Jesse.
* HairTriggerTemper: Doesn't come up as often as Jesse or his dad, but it's still pretty clear that anger issues run in the family.
* HeelFaceDoorSlam: Has lightened up in recent videos, though Jesse does not see it genuine and is still suspicious of his actions of getting back at him and/or pranking Jesse. Later averted when Jeffrey started giving Jesse good advice, before finally signing a peace treaty/alliance.
* HeelFaceTurn: He's starting to show shades of this in recent videos...
* TheHyena: Between him, Jesse and Jeffrey Sr. Jeffrey Jr is by far the merriest of the men, rather in a comical or cruel way he laughs or chuckles much to Jesse's disapproval.
* {{Jerkass}}: Arguably more so than Jesse or Jeffrey, Sr. Unlike either of them, he never really gets any JerkWithAHeartOfGold moments until "PRISONER OF WAR - PSYCHO UPDATE".
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: On the other hand, Jeffery has shown a little bit of this at times. A prime example is when he took two Platform/{{PS4}}'s and an Platform/XboxOne from Jesse's room to keep for himself after Jesse and Uncle Larry destroyed his [=PS4=], only to find out they were for fans as part of a giveaway. Not only did he instantly gave them back, but he also made a video apologizing to Jesse's fans. Not to mention later on he and Jesse are shown on ''somewhat'' good terms.
* KnightOfCerebus: Arguably. He was present in the series from day one, but mainly acted as the cameraman in the earlier videos. The series tended to get DarkerAndEdgier around the same time he started taking a more active antagonistic role, with [[spoiler:Jesse being kicked out of the house and left to fend for himself twice]], and [[spoiler: Mr. and Mrs. Ridgway getting a divorce]].
* ManipulativeBastard: Jeffery has his moments blackmailing Jesse by holding his possessions hostage.
* OnlySaneMan: After [[TookALevelInKindness Taking A Level In Kindness]], he pretty much has become this.
* ParentalFavoritism: On the receiving end, at least from his dad. He's allowed to stay in the house rent-free, has two rooms, and is hardly ever punished for anything. In the rare event that he ''is'' punished, it's guaranteed to be lighter than anything Jesse gets. However, his dad ''did'' smash his expensive camera when he found out that he smashed the trophies and framed Jesse for it.
* PsychopathicManchild: Despite being more conventionally successful than Jesse, he's shown himself to be just as childish as him, if not more so. An example is how he flipped out on Uncle Larry for what he believed was a prank. This resulted in Larry banning him from the family vacation. How did he respond to this? By making a video in which he used many different tools and weapons to destroy Larry's "Larry's Lounge" sign (as well as Jesse's couch, because he believed Jesse was in on it too).
* RoaringRampageOfRevenge: As revenge for Uncle Larry casting him in an embarrassing role for a skit on his channel (which he believes is a prank that Jesse is in on) and Uncle Larry banning him from their trip to North Carolina, Jeffrey enacts a "week of terror," a weeklong series of videos in which he destroys Jesse's collectible ''VideoGame/{{Halo 3}}'' Master Chief helmet, and then prepares to destroy Uncle Larry's sign and a mystery item of Jesse's (later revealed to be his couch).
* SigningOffCatchPhrase: "Big Brudda out!"
* SirSwearsALot: He curses frequently like Jesse, especially when he's angry.
* TheSociopath: Considering Jeffrey's shtick on harassing and making Jesse's life a hell, it's safe to say he is this.
** This is somewhat lessened as the show has gone on though.
* TookALevelInKindness: Jeffrey Jr. seemed to have gone through this after the events of "Psycho Brother Stomps Glasses". In "Psycho Kid Moves Out" and "CONTROL YOUR ANGER!", He tries to keep Jesse calm after Jeffrey Sr. stole the $30k from him. Sort of goes a long way after the events of the channel early on. Later videos seem to prove this, as well, as he genuinely seems to want to help his brother at times.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Jeffrey Ridgway, Sr. (Psycho Dad)]]
!! Jeffrey Ridgway, Sr. (aka Psycho Dad)
[[quoteright:225:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/psycho_dad.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:225:"Well if you want to game you gotta get a job while you do it too!"]]
The father of the Ridgway boys, and arguably the main reason for the channel's success. Mr. Ridgway is an old-fashioned man who just wants his son to be successful and stop doing what he sees as wasting his life. Due to difficulty controlling his anger, this often leads to him destroying Jesse's possessions. He has a bit of trouble understanding that Jesse ''can'' make money from playing video games and making videos, though he's become a bit more tolerating of it ever since Jesse showed him a video put together by his fans (though it's clear that he's still not exactly fond of Jesse's career choice).

* AbusiveParents: At his worst, he borders on this. While he's never been shown to physically hurt Jesse, he causes him more than enough grief by breaking his things.
* AlcoholicParent: He drinks beer and has been drunk on occasions.
** An example is in "Psycho Dad Scares Children" where he gets offended by the nickname "Psycho Dad" and creates a scene between a group of fans and their mother and the mother implies that he should stop drinking, but he defends himself by saying that he's an adult and he can decide if he wants to stop or not. Terry even implies that he drinks 7 or 8 beers.
** In "Psycho Dad's Drunken Rant", he was seen with empty beer bottles and is in a pissy mood because of what his wife said to him and blames Jesse for it and angrily knocks all of beer bottles to the ground and throws the one he was drinking in the sink and angrily storms off.
* {{Angrish}}: Somewhat downplayed. Unlike Angry Grandpa or Stephen Quire, Mr. Ridgway is calmer when he gets mad, though he's just as destructive.
* AssholeVictim: [[spoiler:Jesse has Jeffrey Sr. at gunpoint, and asks if he has any last words to say before he leaves forever. He apologizes, but not for all of the abuse he put Jesse through; he apologizes because he thinks ''introducing Jesse to video games'' made him into the person pointing the gun at him.]] Can you really feel sorry for him?
* BerserkButton: Hates being disrespected. Notably, he sees the "Psycho Dad" moniker as disrespectful, and once [[DisproportionateRetribution buried Jesse's games in the yard]] when he found out that Jesse was selling Psycho Dad T-shirts. He later got mad at a couple of young fans who identified him as "Psycho Dad," but thankfully it didn't go beyond an argument with the kids' parents.
* BigBad: More so in the earlier videos, however as of late he has returned to being either this or GreaterScopeVillain.
* BigBrotherIsWatching: Recently installed [[SinisterSurveillance security cameras]] in both of Jesse's rooms due to not trusting Jesse.
* DemotedToDragon: In some videos, he is mainly used by Jeffrey as a tool of sorts to cause Jesse grief. Later averted when Jeffrey underwent a HeelFaceTurn.
* {{Determinator}}: Really wants to talk to his wife. Even to the point of actually following Jesse to Uncle Larry's house.
* DragonAscendant: In later videos after being DemotedToDragon.
* TheDreaded: With little patience and an anger like a Bull, Jeffrey Sr is '''NOT''' a man to play around with especially when it comes to material possessions. In fact, everyone who knows him, dare not speak ill-will of him in his presence unless it's an argument they seek or their stuff demolished.
** The trope gets even more justified whenever he gets angry at Jesse. Jesse himself would freak-out like he saw The Devil whenever Mr. Ridgway punishes him for his (mostly supposed) meddling.
* DrowningMySorrows: In "Psycho Dad's Drunken Rant", he is seen drinking bottles of beer after the talk with his wife and isn't happy about it either.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: He kicked Jesse out of the house for destroying his trophies and pretty much left him to fend for himself, but he still wasn't happy to find out that Jeffrey, Jr. had framed Jesse for destroying the remaining trophies because "he was going through enough", going as far as to smash Jeffrey Jr.'s camera and let Jesse back in.
** He flat out doesn't agree with Uncle Chris's methods, such as the idea of spanking/hitting his kids. '''LET THAT SINK IN'''.
*** This is quite zig-zagged, however. Though he doesn't want his brother physically attacking children, he had no problem back hoeing the Morton Building room, even though he knew Jesse was inside.
* GainingTheWillToKill: As of Psycho Dad Demolishes Gaming Room, his determination to make Jesse get a job has come to this after hearing that he left the [=McCann=] Farm since he doesn't care that he almost killed Jesse and Corn when he backhoed the walls. Many are now convinced he sees Jesse as nothing more than an embarrassment to the family name, and that he wants to kill Jesse to be rid of him and his Millennial ways; as a result, some viewers now believe that Jesse's only options are to either call the police or commit patricide, as there's absolutely no helping him at all.
* GreaterScopeVillain: While Melissa and later Uncle Chris are the BigBad in recent videos and his wife Terry taking up TheDragon mantle, Jeffrey Sr still trumps all of them as the Bigger Bad of the entire Psycho Series. Demonstrated in "AUNT MELISSA FIGHTS PSYCHO DAD", in which he effortlessly tosses her into a Christmas tree and forces a brief EnemyMine between Melissa, Terry, and Jesse. He is also the reason Jesse has gone off to work with Uncle Chris. Jesse freaks out when Uncle Chris [[SummonBiggerFish threatens to call him, and then actually does call him over to the farm]] in "LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON".
* HairTriggerTemper: It runs in the family. It doesn't take very much to set him off and cause him to start breaking stuff.
* IHaveNoSon: Likely towards Jesse after Psycho Dad Busts Down Door.
** Seemly confirms it in "Psycho Dad's Drunken Rant" when he tells Jesse '''he's ashamed to have him for a son'''. Jesus.
* HeelRealization: [[spoiler:Subverted. In ''Psycho Kid Kills Father'', it intially appears he's apolozing to Jesse for the abuse he's put him threw over the years but it turns out he's apologizing for introducing Jesse to video games as he believes that's why Jesse is the way that he is.]]
* {{Hypocrite}}: He continuously scolds Jesse for being disrespectful to him when he breaks his son's, and other people's belongings and has no respect for other people, or him too.
** He even lashes out at Jesse for pulling pranks on him when he himself pulled a chainsaw prank on Jesse in "Psycho Kid's Halloween Bloodbath".
** Even ''Uncle Larry'' calls him out on this when he mocks him for drinking beer with Jesse as a way of nurturing when he drinks beer himself.
* HypocriticalHumor: In "Psycho Girlfriend Breaks iPad", she calls Jeffrey's girlfriend Kate "crazy". This is coming from the person who has a short fuse and frequently breaks Jesse's stuff.
* ItsAllAboutMe: He often doesn't care about Jesse's wants and wants what ''he'' wants best for him and doesn't care that he's not comfortable with it and always believes he's in control over what he does. He even forced Jeffrey to do accounting and sports and not what he wanted to do: film.
** He often doesn't listen to his wife's warnings and always believes his ideas are the best. When she finally divorced him when she had enough, he takes his rage out on her and throws her stuff out the house and destroys her computer monitor, despite the fact that his abusive nature is the reason she divorced him.
* JackBauerInterrogationTechnique: Seems to be his shtick when he's suspicious of Jesse lying. Though the only torture he does is verbal and psychological abuse by forcing Jesse to tell the truth and what Jeffrey Sr. want's to hear.
* {{Jerkass}}: Constantly breaks his son's things for little reason.
* JerkassHasAPoint:
** Even though he doesn't approve what his son does and belittles him, he isn't wrong about getting a job and working for a living as it can make your life easier if you get a normal job and not sit in your room all day and play video games as it doesn't approve to anything in life.
** He makes a good point when Jesse is disrespectful, rebellious, or when he's ungrateful for everything that's given to him.
** He even makes valid points when Jesse goes to buy a house with $30,000, and he questions him about putting him online without his permission and using him for money. He also tells him that people are sneaky and they could be conning him out of his money [[DidntThinkThisThrough and he doesn't think things out]] and that he needs to be careful.
* JerkWithAHeartOfJerk: Although he ''does'' display something of an altruistic side at times, and even has a few EvenEvilHasStandards moments, he ultimately subverts the JerkWithAHeartOfGold trope. In the earlier videos, his methods were excessive, but it was evident that he was ultimately well-meaning. However, as the series goes on, he gets more and more irredeemable (such as when he demolished Jesse's gaming room knowing that he and Corn were in there at the time, or when he forbade Jesse from filming anywhere except for a small closet).
* JockDadNerdSon: The Jock Dad to Jesse's Nerd Son.
* KickTheDog: Destroys the Wii U that his wife bought for their son Jesse as a birthday present. His wife was so angry at him for this that she didn't stop Jesse from calling him a cunt and throwing the cake at him.
* [[spoiler: KilledOffForReal: "Psycho Kid Kills Father".]] [[spoiler: InUniverse only.]]
* LackOfEmpathy: Shows ''little'' to '''no''' remorse over his actions, always justifying them with either the person "disrespected" him or because he feels he ''has'' to do so.
** He doesn't care that Uncle Larry was badly injured when he crashed his truck into the pool and is now is in the hospital. In fact, he even says, "he shoulda died, doin' stupid shit like that."
** There's also Psycho Kid Ruins Thanksgiving 2. In it, [[spoiler: he finds out that Jesse's girlfriend, who he invited to the dinner, is agnostic when he tries to get everyone to say grace. As a result, Jesse chooses to just say what he's thankful for instead, and one of the things he lists is Trump finally being impeached due to the U.S being in a state of disorder.]] His reaction? [[spoiler: Scold both of them for not sharing his beliefs and opinions, takes Jesse's phone away when he tries to change the subject, [[HypocriticalHumor accuses him of making everyone about himself, "as always,"]] and even tells Jesse that he doesn't have to be a part of this family.]]
* {{Narcissist}}:
* NeverMyFault: Routinely blames Jesse of his emotional outbursts.
** Particularly extreme example: [[spoiler:In "Psycho Kid Kills Father", he seems as if he's finally going to apologize to Jesse for all of the abuse he put him through, but then says that he's only sorry because he introduced Jesse to video games and they turned him into who he is now. Jesse refuses to believe this, knowing in his heart that his dad is the real reason, and finally decides to kill him]].
* NoSenseOfHumor: Doesn't find any of Jesse's pranks funny though has gone to DisproportionateRetribution levels on "Psycho Dad Woodchips Wii U", partly over Jesse pulling a prank on his father saying he has a "job".
* NotGoodWithRejection: Mrs. Ridgway isn't open to the possibility of rekindling her marriage with him, so what does he do? Throw his ex-wife's things out the door and crushes her computer with a log splitter. Also counts as DisproportionateRetribution.
** This part of his personality is again shown when he tries to win Mrs. Ridgway back by giving her flowers, but she rejects his approach, telling him, "IT'S OVER!", so he destroys her store
* PowerOfTrust: Averted, oh so very much with Jesse. To the point of installing video cameras in his room and following him when he's out of the house.
** Even went this way when all Jesse wanted to do was ''play games with him'' in "Psycho Dad Plays Video Games", but after getting into gamer rage, he flat out '''shoots Jesse's X-Box''' in "Psycho Dad Shoots X-Box" and flat out accuses Jesse of ''trying to humiliate'' him.
* PsychopathicManchild: He is a grown man who constantly goes into fits of rages over simple things [[DisproportionateRetribution such as destroying Jesse's possessions if he "disrespects" him]].
** He [[NotGoodWithRejection did not take it well when Terry divorced him]] and throws her possessions out of the house in retaliation and destroys her computer and completely loses it and trashes the Juggies store when she said she and him were through.
** He even shot Jesse's Xbox One when they were playing Halo after he died numerous times because Jesse "embarrassed him".
* SanitySlippage: After the divorce. To the point that, after Jesse quit his job, he seems to be resorting to ''flat-out trying to murder Jesse''.
* SelectiveEnforcement: After the family trip to North Carolina, Jeffrey Jr. initiates a giant prank war against Jesse and Uncle Larry, which Jeffrey Sr. gets quickly annoyed of. The thing is, Jeffrey Jr. was blatantly destroying Jesse's prized belongings and even shot FIREWORKS at Jesse, in which he didn't do anything about despite Jesse's constant complaining. And yet, when Jesse unleashes as much as the ''tiniest bit'' of retaliation or defense (which includes installing a key lock on the room door so Jeffrey can't enter the room while Jesse's away), he flips out to the point of kicking Jesse out of the house for the second time. Granted, Jesse and Larry didn't ask for permission in the first place, but they wouldn't have needed to do such a thing if he actually took initiative against Jeffrey Jr.
* SirSwearsALot: Not as much as Jesse or Jeffrey, Jr. but he's still pretty profane.
* TheSociopath: He doesn't care when Terri or anybody tries to stop him from destroying stuff or just ''harming'' anybody, the man doesn't care. Also doesn't help he shows little to no remorse for it, even showing no remorse over nearly hurting Aunt Melissa.
* StalkerWithoutACrush: To Jesse. Considering that there's a huge trust issue between him and his son.
* TookALevelInJerkass: Has '''really''' taken one after the events of "Psycho Dad Busts Down Door".
* UsedToBeASweetKid: More of ''Used to Be a Sweet Husband''. '''Everyone''' has stated Jeffrey Sr. wasn't always angry or prone to spouts of anger. ''Something'' however happened that caused to be the Psycho Dad we know today.
* UngratefulBastard: Never seems to appreciate anything nice that Jesse does for him. For example; How does he reacts when Jesse gifts him a new grill? By complaining about the number of burners and belittling Jesse about it.
** Another example is when Jesse finally gets a Job in Uncle Larry's Canvas Shop. Tells his father about it in "FORCED RESIGNATION!", what's his father's reaction? Demanding that Jesse quit his job or that there will be [[KickTheDog consequences], [[{{Hypocrite}} Despite telling Jesse, and Jesse himself agreeing with his father to get a job by the end of March]]. Jeffrey also brought up his concerns of being coddled by Terry and Uncle Larry as well as his education should be put to better use. Granted, [[TheExtremistWasRight Jeffrey is right that Jesse should get a better job due because of his education]], but it's still common for people to still continue to job search for a better job while still employed in a job below their skill set/education. Especially with the employment prospects of Jesse's generation in [[TheNewTens the post Great Recession]] world. At its core, Jeffrey's issue largely revolves around, to an extent, Jesse being coddled at work by his family members, as well as with pay, as some viewers theorize Jeffrey wants Jesse to get a high-paying job so he can retire and sponge off his own son.
** Yet again, he demonstrates this with Jesse trying to spend quality time with him playing video games. After constantly being killed in a Halo multiplayer game, he RageQuit in an extreme way: by taking Jesse's Xbox One and shooting it out in the backyard all while blaming Jesse that he embarrassed him. Even Jesse [[CallingTheOldManOut called him out on his actions calling him a big baby and super immature for doing such a thing]].
* WellIntentionedExtremist: Ultimately, Jeffrey Sr. just wants what's best for Jesse, but has a very twisted idea about it based on his Baby Boomer upbringing. The fact of the matter is that he just doesn't understand the Millennials and even makes it a point to force his outdated ways on his sons.
* WouldHitAGirl: Shoved Aunt Melissa in a couch and again when he tossed her in her tree in a fit of rage.
[[/folder]]

! Supporting characters
[[folder: Terry]]
!! Theresa "Terry" Abraham-Ridgway
The wife of Jeffrey Ridgway Sr. and the mother of Jesse and Jeffrey Jr. Up until "Psycho Mom Divorced Husband", she was the only member of the Ridgway family to have never become a "Psycho" character, and she does her best to help defend Jesse from his father and brother.
* TheAtoner: Likely shaping up to be this after "A SLAP IN THE FACE!".
* BerserkButton: Whatever you do, DO NOT HIT JESSE!
* BewareTheNiceOnes: In "Psycho Mom Divorces Husband" when she declares "I'm doing what I should have done a long time ago!" to Jeffrey Ridgway Sr.
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: What many commentators theorized what Aunt Mellissa has done and what both Uncle Larry and Jesse were concerned about when Terry moved to Aunt Melissa's.
* CorruptTheCutie: Oh so much after moving into Melissa's.
* TheDragon: Gained the mantle after her FaceHeelTurn, [[SarcasmMode Thanks to Melissa]].
* DefrostingIceQueen: Inverted. Terry started out as a kind and loving mother. Sometime after moving into "Aunt" Melissa's and ''TAKING OUT THE TRASH!'' she's become more cold towards Jesse and becomes annoyed with Jesse's filming.
* DontYouDarePityMe: Oh so very much after her FaceHeelTurn
* DrunkDriver: It's surprising that she has yet to be pulled over by a police officer or a New Jersey State Trooper for driving under the influence.
** Even more fortunate that she hasn't found herself in an automobile accident while driving under the influence.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: Downplayed since she's not technically "evil"; though she has gone through a complete personality change from being influenced by Melissa. Despite not being the warm-hearted, sweet mother that she used to be, she draws the line at physically attacking her children, as shown in ''A SLAP IN THE FACE'', when Melissa slaps Jesse across the face for calling her a cunt. She is scolded by Terri for this, showing that she still has standards.
* EvilMatriarch: A Downplayed example after Aunt Melissa's influence. While she is not as obtrusive and destructive as Jeffrey Sr., she has shown traits of being self-centered and a JerkAss. Has shown herself to be completely unreasonable, very much uncharacteristic of her early appearances in the vlogs.
* FaceHeelTurn: With Aunt Melissa's influence, she turned on Jesse even to the point of saying she want's the camera out and Jesse to stop filming. Even rudely said to Jesse "[[TurnOffTheCamera Get the fucking camera out]]" and "were done".
** So much so that it even shocked many people, stating that it's uncharacteristic of her to be against Jesse and stating how much Melissa has changed Terry from a [[GoodParents nice mother]] to a [[EvilMatriarch unreasonable and self-centered mother]]. Likely would strike a nerve to any other parent or mother on Terry's actions and let a family friend dictate her influence towards her own biological son. [[ThickerThanWater As any sane parent would not let the influence of a friend or step-parent effect the relationship of their own biological child]].
* GoodParents: In contrast to Jeffrey Sr., she was very supportive of Jesse and even provided emotional support for Jesse during Jeffrey Sr's outbursts.
** Unfortunately gets subverted later on after Terry moves into Aunt Mellissa's house and started to become a JerkAss towards Jesse under [[ToxicFriendInfluence Mellissa's influence]].
* HeelFaceTurn: Reconciles with Jesse in "SAVE YOURSELF!"
* {{Hypocrite}}: Complains about not being listened to by her own husband, yet won't even want to spare time to listen and talk with ''her own'' son and instead would rather have fun with "Aunt" Melissa.
** Want's Jesse to respect her yet at the same time is completely unreasonable towards Jesse, even disrespecting him.
** Flat out tells Jesse to deal with Jeffery Sr.'s episodes, even though she separated from Jeffery Sr. because she couldn't deal with his episodes.
* HeelFaceRevolvingDoor: Since she left her husband,
* ItsAllAboutMe: Starting to show shades of this, under [[TheCorrupter Mellissa's influence]]. She doesn't even support Jesse and what he's going through and how it's affecting him. Even outright telling Jesse that he can deal with it, completely disregarding Jesse's own feelings after what he has gone through with Jeffrey Sr. and his emotional outburst. Instead, she would rather have fun than provide emotional support or even caring about the family that is affected by the divorce.
* JerkassHasAPoint: While she did pull off a FaceHeelTurn on Jesse and started acting rude to him, she wasn't wrong when she pointed out that he followed his father to the mall when they were talking to eavesdrop on them and that it's none of his business and that he needs to start worrying about himself.
* LadyDrunk: Thanks in part of Mellissa's influence.
* LackOfEmpathy: Won't even give Jesse a time of day to be genuinely concerned about Jesse's feelings, let alone talk with him after Jeffrey Sr. gave her son a [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech Reason You Suck Speech]] on New Year's Eve. Insist coldly, that he deals with his [[TheSociopath father]] on his own.
** Even more heartbreaking is she considers the quality of time that she spent with her son prior to moving into Melissa's a very long time ago, despite it was at least a month ago that they had a decent positive quality time togeather.
* OnlySaneWoman: Commentators frequently point this out, as she has never been shown to destroy anything.
** Though, with Mellissa's influence, has lost that streak when she started to become a JerkAss towards Jesse.
** Becomes completely averted and tossed that reputation into the trash when her JerkAss personality causes even her own brother and sister to become concerned with her change of personality.
* PrecisionFStrike:
-->'''Theresa''': Yeah! Get the fucking camera out! Okay, we're done!
* PutOnABus: After having a large amount of November through February be her day in the limelight, she hasn't been seen since mid-February, a lifetime in the context of the vlogs.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere In [[spoiler:"Psycho Mom Divorces Husband"]], she gets in the car and drives off after [[spoiler:Jeffrey Sr.'s latest freak-out sees him destroying the room Jesse worked on and busting out a window on his car; she tells him she wants a divorce.]]
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: While her full name is Theresa, her nickname has different spelling variations, such as: ''"Terry"'', ''"Terra"'', or ''"Terri"''.
* ThickerThanWater: Largely subverted after she moved into Melissa's and would rather side with her friend than stick up for her own son.
* [[UsedToBeASweetKid Used to Be a Sweet Mother]]: Prior to moving into Melissa's she was a kind and sweet mother, even supporting Jesse. Now, she has completely changed where she becomes more unreasonable and a JerkAss
** Also doubles as "Used to Be a Sweet Sister" for both Aunt Jackie and Uncle Larry as they noticed drastic changes to her personality and became very concerned about it. Even to the point where all three; Uncle Larry, Aunt Jackie, and Jesse feel that it's best for Terry to get away from the toxic influence of Melissa.
* TheWoobie Many viewers feel sorry for her because she is the OnlySaneWoman in her chaotic family.
** Though presently, sometime during the New Year week, became the JerkassWoobie. Becoming more unreasonable and distant to even her own flesh and blood, Jesse.
* TokenGoodTeammate: She was this ''before'' her influence of Melissa.
* TookALevelInJerkass: Oh where to begin with this woman...
* TookALevelInKindness: Though, after the events of "A SLAP IN THE FACE!", she has more or less lost her Jerkass qualities.
* WhatTheHellHero: Reaction by many of Jesse's viewers when she TookALevelInJerkass and started becoming unreasonable and a JerkAss towards Jesse. Many see it as very uncharacteristic of her to do that since she's normally a [[GoodParents kind and sweet mother]] prior to moving in with Melissa.
** Double time when she flat out tells Jesse that he can deal with Jeffrey Sr's episodes. Knowing '''full well''' that Jeffrey Sr's psychotic episodes have a negative impact on Jesse's psyche and emotional well-being, and that his episodes are the reason they separated in the first place. Essentially, cutting Jesse off from any kind of parental emotional support.
** Even more so that she's started to become more distant, cold, and unreasonable to even her own siblings.
** [[DrunkDriver Drinking Under the Influence of Alcohol]], even backed into the trash cans at Melissa's and was even uncooperative and unreasonable with Jesse when her own son told her '''not to drink and drive'''. Even chastised ''her own son'' for being controlling like his father. When in actuality, Jesse had justified reasons not to let his mother and Melissa drive while under the influence of alcohol.
** Taking her best friend side over her own flesh and blood. Despite her best friend constantly putting her own son down, in front of her own eyes. Even flat out demanding that she be left alone, again.
* [[ManChild Woman Child]]: acts like a rebellious teenager while under the influence of Melissa and her alcohol. Even Jesse admits that it's starting to feel like looking after a college-aged little sister.
** Uncle Larry also confirms that she is also acting like a teenager and that Melissa's influence has GoneHorriblyWrong.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Uncle Larry]]
!! Lorenz "Larry" Abraham
[[quoteright:241:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/uncle_larry.png]]
[[caption-width-right:241:"Hey everybody, welcome to the lounge, all my fellow loungers, chillers, ballers, and grillers!"]]
Jesse and Jeffrey's CoolUncle, and Theresa Ridgway's brother. He was Psycho Dad's best friend before the family turmoil started to wear away at their friendship.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: When pushed to the limits, such as when Jeffrey Sr. destroyed his RV. Even Terry at one time said that it takes a lot to upset and anger Uncle Larry.
** It really showed after the RV was destroyed, as he got into a shouting match with Jeff, dared him to punch him, and, for a grand finale, ''tried to run him over with his truck'', only to injure himself and demolish the Ridgways' pool in the process, as well as get his truck totaled by Jeff in retaliation.
* CoolUncle: He's loved greatly by his nephews.
* GainingTheWillToKill: In "WHAT I COULDN'T DO...", Larry reveals that he was indeed trying to kill Jeffrey Sr., if only to free Jesse from his control. He goes as far as to state Jeff deserves to die for everything he's done.
* NeverBareheaded: Justified due to hair loss and preventing sunburns on the top of his head during summer months.
* NiceGuy: The most mellow and caring member of the family.
* OnlySaneMan: He and his sister Theresa are considered this. Uncle Larry is by far, the calmest and most collected main character in the "Psycho Series", and he is usually shown to be able to control himself even when he's angry.
** After Terri fell off the bandwagon, it's safe to say that Larry's the only same individual compared to Jesse, Jeffrey Jr., [[TheSociopath Jeffrey Sr.]], [[JerkAss Terri]], and [[WomanScorned Melissa]].
** He finally lost it when Jeffrey Sr. destroyed his RV and basically began controlling every aspect of Jesse's life, to the point that he used his truck to conduct a kamikaze attack on the Ridgways' pool. An investigation by users shows that Larry was ''aiming for Jeff and trying to run him down'', as if murder is the only option.
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: After learning that Jeffrey Sr. has destroyed his RV, he loses it and goes to town on some of his belongings, such as his grill and a clock. He then stormed off and requested that Jesse not follow. Many viewers believed he was going to either the Ridgway Residence to beat up Jeffrey Sr., or the Stahlberger Residence to beat up Melissa. Later, he destroys the family pool by '''driving into it'''. The video's info even says that he wants to 'end it all'.
* ParentalSubstitute: He takes care of Jesse and allows him to stay at his house twice, and Jesse even sees him as a father figure. Unfortunately, the second time, Jesse's dishonest behavior causes Uncle Larry to ask that he leaves to find another place to stay.
* PermaStubble: Sports a goatee.
* SnarkToSnarkCombat: With [[LovableAlphaBitch "Aunt" Melissa Sherman-Stahlberger]].
* TokenGoodTeammate: He's the only member of his family that isn't psychotic or a massive hypocrite.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: "Aunt" Melissa]]
!! Melissa Sherman-Stahlberger
The friend of Terry Ridgway. Despite not being related, is addressed by Jeffrey Jr. and Jesse as Aunt Melissa. She was briefly seen in a previous psycho video "Psycho Kid Ruins Thanksgiving". After Terry separated Jeffrey Sr, she's become much more prominent in recent videos. However, she has recently been sidelined in favor of Uncle Chris.
* AbhorrentAdmirer: How Jeffrey Jr. sees her when she comes on strong towards him.
* AbusiveParents: Given how she slapped Jesse, it's likely she's abusive to her own children.
* BigBad: While not as destructive as Jeffrey Sr. She has her moments that borders on disrespect towards Jesse and Uncle Larry. Even to the point of comparing Jesse with Jeffrey Sr and not even allowing Larry to visit and see his own sister. THEN she corrupted Terry into a clone of her.
** Zigged-Zagged in Jesse's vlog "[[NotSoDifferentRemark NOT MUCH DIFFERENT!]]" where she opens up to Jesse after Uncle George's negative reaction with Psycho Dad's destruction and siding with him. The big badness is part of a HiddenHeartOfGold-hiding facade. After the heart-to-heart talk had a case of an IgnoredEpiphany and [[FaceHeelTurn reverted back]] to her old JerkAss self.
** During Jesse's third exile, she's pretty much taken up the "Psycho" mantel and willing to go at lengths to destroy other people's property. One notable example is when she found out Jesse is living on her property, she immediately taken to Jeffrey Sr.'s level of destruction and destroyed both the mirror in Uncle Larry's RV, dented the microwave, and destroyed Jesse's TV.
* BrutalHonesty: Oh so very much.
* TheCorrupter: Oh so very much. So much that she turned Jesse's own mother against him.
* EarlyBirdCameo: She appeared in a few of Jesse's vlogs. Most noticeably a reaction video of "''Two Girls, One Cup''" and would come across as an EarlyInstallmentWeirdness for people who've subscribed to Jesse's channel prior to her appearance in the Psycho Series where she's a JerkAss.
** Jesse also hinted in ''"AUNT MELISSA SEWS THUMB!"'' that [[SignificantDoubleCasting she played Dr. Nelson, Jesse's Psychologist]], in ''"Psycho Family Therapy"''.
* EnemyMine: Despite being thrown into the Christmas Tree in "AUNT MELISSA FIGHTS PSYCHO DAD!", she actually contacted Jeffrey Sr. and revealed Jesse's location to forcefully remove him from her property.
* GivingSomeoneThePointerFinger: Her trademark gesture when she's angry. Even giving someone the FingerPokeOfDoom to the chest.
** In "AUNT MELISSA FIGHTS PSYCHO DAD" she found out the consequence of poking people in the chest, especially to the likes of Jeffrey Sr.
* HeelFaceRevolvingDoor: Initially, was taking a HeelFaceTurn after confronting Jeffrey Sr. However, subsequent vlogs show her back to [[FaceHeelTurn her old disrespectful ways]] stating that she had a moment of weakness.
* HiddenHeartOfGold: [[spoiler:The reasoning behind her mean demeanor. She wanted to maintain a strong image to her friend.]]
* {{Hypocrite}}: Overly concerned of Terry's son and family manipulating her friend when in reality ''she's'' [[TheCorrupter the one that's]] [[ToxicFriendInfluence manipulating Terry]].
** Calls Jesse a manipulator when she herself is one.
** Cannot take being called insulting terms and disrespected yet is willing to do the same to Jesse.
** States that she's afraid that Jesse is going to turn into Jeffrey Sr. when she herself has gone a destructive psycho rage herself.
* IgnoredEpiphany: Completely sweeps the heart-to-heart chat with Jesse after "NOT MUCH DIFFERENT!" and reverts back to her JerkAss ways.
* JerkAss: Routinely disrespectful towards Jesse, Uncle Larry.
** Also to Jeffrey Sr., behind his back.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Despite putting Jesse down in recent vlogs, she does have her moments when she expresses that she's proud of Jesse surprising his mom on Christmas Eve to make his mother happy.
** She also expresses genuine concern for Jesse's well-being around Jeffrey Sr. and expresses concern that Jesse would end up becoming like his father. She even encourages Jesse to move away from Jeffrey Sr.
* LadyDrunk: [[spoiler: Likely justified to cope with the abuse taken from "Uncle" George]]
** Even her own son, Georgie, has expressed genuine concern of her alcohol abuse and behavior while under the influence.
* [[SirSwearsALot Lady Swears-a-Lot]]: She's no slouch herself. Even to the point where "Motherfucker" is pretty much her CatchPhrase
* MeanCharacterNiceActor: Outside the Psycho Series, she's a decent person.
* NeverMyFault: She blames Jesse for Terry ending her friendship with her when she fails to see the fact that Terry left her because of her drinking habits and abusive nature.
* NotBloodSiblings: Despite being called an aunt, she's not related to neater the Abraham Family nor the Ridgeway Family. The title was applied since she's a close friend to Terry.
* MoralEventHorizon: Crosses it in "Psycho Dad Rips Apart RV", in which she tipped off Jeffrey Sr. to Jesse's location. In the Psycho Update, she tells Jesse he should never have fucked with her with a smug look.
* MrsRobinson: Seems to be a bit "friendly" with Jeffrey Jr. Which makes him a bit, [[{{Squick}} uncomfortable]]. Even Jesse admits that she's a cougar.
* NotGoodWithRejection: When Uncle Larry broke up with her while they were still in high school. While Uncle Larry moved on, Melissa held a grudge against Larry for years.
** She didn't take all that well to Terry breaking off her friendship with her. Though unfortunately, takes her frustrations out on Jesse because she see's him as the primary reason why Terry broke off her friendship with her,
* SnarkToSnarkCombat: With Uncle Larry
** Later, Jesse engages some snarky comebacks against Melissa
* StrawFeminist: Becomes one after consuming enough alcohol.
* TheCorrupter: In "THE DIVORCE PAPERS!", we see the far-reaching consequences of Melissa's influence on Terry. In a nutshell: Terry has become a Melissa clone, with a wild haircut and StrawFeminist tendencies (to the point a few viewers likened her to a Tumblr feminist).
* TheFriendNobodyLikes: Jesse and Uncle Larry don't enjoy her company, even in Jeffrey Jr's vlog he was not too keen of Aunt Melissa. Terri is the only one that sees her as a good friend.
* {{Tsundere}}: Jesse says that she has her kind moments, while on video she sways between being kind to being downright mean.
* ToxicFriendInfluence: What Uncle Larry and Jesse see Melissa. Justified in that subsequent vlogs sometime around New Years that their fears came true when Melissa manipulated and influenced Terry.
** Even Jeffrey Jr. shows his own concerns in his own vlog.
** It's perhaps likely a reason why Jeffrey Sr. does not want his wife to hang around her too much while they were still living together.
* [[UngratefulBastard Ungrateful Bitch]]: Despite Jesse defending her in "AUNT MELISSA FIGHTS PSYCHO DAD!" She's still show's her ungratefulness towards Jesse.
** Even pulling an EnemyMime somewhere between "NAIL IN THE COFFIN!" and "Psycho Dad Rips Apart Trailer" where she actually contacted Jeffrey Sr, the very same person who threw her into the Christmas tree months prior.
* [[YouRemindMeOfX You Remind Me of Psycho Dad]]: To Jesse, much to [[IAmNotMyFather his annoyance]].
** Also crosses into {{Hypocrite}} territory when in the latest of Jesse's vlogs, she's shown herself to display the same tenancies as Jeffrey Sr. ranging from delivering TheReasonYouSuckSpeech at Jesse to even willing to destroy Jesse's property.
* WickedStepmother: Though more like, ''Wicked Family Friend'', has displayed traits of this. Especially towards Jesse by way of being a JerkAss towards him and influencing his own mother to go against him.
* WomanScorned: Uncle Larry once dated Melissa during high school. While Larry broke up with Melissa, the latter [[NotGoodWithRejection did not take it so well]] and still holds the grudge to this day.
* [[WouldHitaGirl Would Hit a Guy]]: Slapped Jesse while he was trying to stand up for himself and threatened to call her a "cunt" all while trying to relay the news of his father's health to his mother. Given that Melissa is Jesse's elder, it crosses over into WouldHurtAChild territory.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Corn]]
!! Zachary "Corn" Cornatzer
A friend of Jesse. Been together since the two were in school. In recent videos is the designated camera man.
* BestFriend: One of Jesse's circle of best friends that he has.
* BewareTheQuietOnes: After being harassed and antagonized by Uncle Chris for "not doing anything" with his degree in Criminal Justice, Corn flat out snaps and tells him off.
* CatchPhrase: Is prone to saying "I know, right?" a lot.
* DeadpanSnarker: Doesn't come up much, but he's been shown to snark back at people who antagonize him, such as Uncle Chris.
* HeWhoMustNotBeSeen: Rather justified in recent videos as he's holding the camera for most of Jesse's vlogs. On occasions, he is visibly seen.
* HeelFaceRevolvingDoor: While his default alignment is the face. There are times where he betrayed Jesse three times, the latter two was OnlyInItForTheMoney on helping Jeffrey Jr. on pranking/getting back at Jesse with the former being involved with Jeffrey Sr's Halloween prank on Jesse.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: Both friends and Jesse's family refer to him as "Corn". Based on the part of his surname: '''Corn'''atzer.
* TheLancer: Has taken up this role in the second run of the Survival Series after Jesse ran away from his father.
* TheQuietOne: He doesn't say much. Most you'll get out of him is "yep" or "yeah". Though he has at some point spoken full sentences. So his vocabulary is not ''that'' limited.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere:
** Uncle Chris antagonizing him and tossing manure at him pushes him to his limit, causing him to get mad and quit filming for Jesse.
** An earlier example: around "Psycho Dad Crashes [=WoW=] LAN Party", the two had fallen out for a couple of months.
** Looked to be doing this again after Jesse threw him under the bus and blamed him for everything after Psycho Dad found out about the videos. This time, however, it was subverted. Corn [[EasilyForgiven forgave]] Jesse by the very next day.
** In Jesse's "Eviction Day"/Jeff's "Psycho Dad Throws Me Out (ft. [=McJuggerNuggets=] & Kidbehindacamera) video, he drives up to the Ridgway household late at night [[FromBadToWorse after Jeff Sr. had already told off a bunch of kids for trespassing on his property due to Jesse and Jeff's shenanigans]] because he thought Jesse told him he wanted him to film for something. Jeff Sr. proceeds to [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech get on his case too]] before he promptly leaves.
** Did this in RealLife near the very end of the Psycho Series, apparently due to Jesse not paying him enough and making him feel like he was unappreciated for his work.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Demma]]
!!Demma
An object created by Jesse Ridgway during the time he was living in Uncle Larry's RV after running away from home. Demma was the result of Damien and Emma the Styrofoam Head being merged together

* CompanionCube: In a nutshell.
** The item is constructed from a Styrofoam Head (Emma), the cut-out remains of the face of the drywall from Jesse's old Gaming Room (Damien), [[DuctTapeForEverything some duct tape]], and Styrofoam packaging material from a TV.
* {{Expy}}: Of Wilson the Volleyball in ''Film/CastAway''.
** Though the difference between Hank and Jesse is that while the former was stranded on a desert island. The latter still had his friend Corn with him filming.
* HappilyMarried: How Jesse sees the relationship between Damien and Emma.
* ICallItVera: Jesse names the "thing" Demma, a combination of the name Damien and Emma.
* MergerOfSouls: How Jesse sees constructing Demma. Though when conversing with Demma, Damien is the dominate "soul".
* SecurityBlanket: Has taken up this role since running away from the Ridgway residence. Even taking it everywhere Jesse goes and showing it to his friends and mother.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Uncle Chris]]
!! Chris Ridgway
The brother of Jeffrey Ridgway Sr. and uncle of Jesse and Jeffrey Jr. First introduced as a major appearance in the Psycho Series/Jesse's Vlogs in "MEET PSYCHO DAD'S BROTHER". Like Jeffrey Sr. does not hold any high opinions to Jesse's career choice in Website/YouTube
* AbusiveParents: More like an abusive relative. Even threatened Jesse that he'd strangle him for triggering his HairTriggerTemper if he wasn't his nephew.
* BigBad: Oh so very much, for the Farm series.
* BadBoss: Oh so much, even going as so far as physically assaulting Jesse by tossing dirt at Jesse and grabbing him, pinning him to a door post after getting caught filming. While Anita the farm owner is the top boss of the farm, Chris is the ultimate authority for Jesse.
* TheBrute: Much heavier and pudgier than his brother and is even willing to get physical with people.
* TheDragon: Would be considered one, especially given that Jeffrey Sr. is still the series' GreaterScopeVillain.
* TheDreaded: Even Jesse himself said that he and his Uncle Chris don't get along and was not looking forward to working for him.
* EnemyMine: While still antagonistic by nature, in "REAP WHAT YOU SOW," he learns a vague concept of what [=YouTube=] is and that Jesse gets paid for it. Even if his reasons are largely personal for it, you can tell that he WANTS Jesse to be telling the truth that he can make good money off videos and to be able to finally make his dad understand it.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: In "NO CAMERAS ALLOWED" vlog, he's shown tossing dirt at Jesse and pinning him to a door post and threatened to strangle him.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: Even though he was willing to strangle Jesse, he held back because he's his brother's son. Though how long till the trope becomes averted is yet to be scene.
** He also steps ''right up'' to Jesse's defense after the destruction of the trailer.
* EvilCounterpart: Arguably to Uncle Larry. While Larry is shown to be a CoolUncle and supportive of Jesse, Chris is a {{Jerkass}} who has threatened Jesse and pinned him to a door post.
* HairTriggerTemper: Apparently, it runs in the Ridgway family.
* HeteronormativeCrusader: Downplayed. His colorful vocabulary is quite homophobic. Even assuming that Corn, Jesse's friend, is his boyfriend.
* {{Jerkass}}: Homophobic comments, belittling Jesse and his friend. It's hard not to see this man as anything other than a jerkass.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: While his methods are a bit extreme, like his brother, he just wants Jesse to be successful and to grow up.
* LackOfEmpathy: Shows ''little'' to '''no''' remorse over his actions, much like his brother.
* TheNicknamer: Called Jesse's Friend "Cornhole" and a few other "colorful" languages, though rather justified as he has a homophobic personality and assumes Jesse and Corn are in a relationship. He has also taken to calling Jesse "Candy Ass", and sometimes "Yum Yum".
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: He's a jerk, but he at least acknowledges when Jesse does something right or shows improvement on the farm. He also seems to be somewhat more understanding of Jesse doing videos as a job, though he still doesn't see it as a job.
* SirSwearsALot: Has a much more colorful vocabulary compared to Jeffrey Sr. and Jesse. Including a spattering of homophobic slurs to the mix.
* SnarkToSnarkCombat: with Jesse. Though dishes physical aggression at any snarks Jesse sends his way.
* TheSociopath: Oh so much that it makes Jeffrey Sr. look like a saint in comparison.
* {{Tsundere}}: Turns out to be a rather decent guy by the end of "HELL TO PAY!". By sparing Jesse the full amount of money to pay for Warrior's damaged truck. Such revelation has even brought Jesse to tears even if Uncle Chris denied his own mercy.
* UngratefulBastard: Chris's default behavior is that no matter how much Jesse does, he's still unimpressed despite Anita's positive reviews.
* WouldHurtAChild: Even threatened to strangle Jesse.
** Taken up to eleven when he '''threatened Jesse's life''' if Jesse told Anita about the "conversation" between him and Jesse.

[[folder: Anita]]
!! Anita
The BenevolentBoss of the farm Jesse now works at who, naturally, disapproves of Chris and Jeff Sr.'s actions towards Jesse.
* BenevolentBoss: A polar opposite to Chris.
* BigGood: Has more than fulfilled this role since Jesse started working at the farm. Best demonstrated in "LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON".
* CoolOldLady: Is quite up to speed to online mediums like Twitter and [=YouTube=].
* ParentalSubstitute: Jesse even comments that Anita reminds him of his own mother. See "LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON".
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Very much so.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Tom]]
!!Tom Abraham
Uncle Larry's son. Usually stays away from the fighting the families does and is often at odds with Jesse.

* BewareTheQuietOnes: In "WHAT I COULDN'T DO..." when he gives Jesse a scathing TheReasonYouSuckSpeech to Jesse.
* {{Geek}}: He spends a lot of his time gaming.
* TheQuietOne: Doesn't speak much with the family.
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: In "WHAT I COULDN'T DO..." when he blames Jesse for Larry's critical injury and stress. He then calls him out for how Uncle Larry has given a lot to Jesse, but he's just taking without giving anything back.

[[folder:Kate]]
!!Siobhan Sullivan
Jeffrey's former girlfriend who get rather annoyed with Jeffrey's antics and sticks up for Jesse when he deals with his father.

* AntiHero: Even though she sticks up for Jesse, she's very foul-mouthed, antagonistic, and rude.
* BerserkButton: After being called "crazy" by Jeffrey, she flipped out and smashed his iPad 4 times.
* BigSisterInstinct: She sticks up for Jesse for being abused.
* DeadpanSnarker: At Jeffrey Jr.
* DisproportionateRetribution: For being called "crazy", she destroyed Jeffrey's iPad.
* DistaffCounterpart: A female version of [[HairTriggerTemper Jeff Sr.]]
* HairTriggerTemper: Like Jeff Sr., Jeff Jr., and Jesse, she is capable of going into destructive rages.
* HypocriticalHumor: In "Psycho Kid Ruins Thanksgiving", she tells Jeff Jr. to grow up and stop goofing off, when she was shown laughing at Jesse and Jeff Sr's argument.
* JerkassHasAPoint: While she was being very vulgar and aggressive towards Jeffrey, she was right that Jeffrey makes Jesse's life a living hell and how he doesn't give her enough attention.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: She may come off as [[SirSwearsALot foul-mouthed]] and [[HairTriggerTemper short-tempered]], but she still feels bad for Jesse's abuse.
* LadySwearsALot: She swears like there's no tomorrow.
* MeanCharacterNiceActor: She's pretty nice when she's not acting.
* NoIndoorVoice: Whenever she's pissed.
* PutOnABus: She only made 3 appearances in the ''Psycho Series'' and never appeared again [[spoiler:due to her breaking up with Jeffrey Jr. and leaving the Ridgway Residence.]]
