In fact, as Phedre points out, Grainne is the most magnificent (and famous) ActionGirl of them all, as she leads her people to war and slays a lot of enemies during the battles of Bryn Gorrydum and Troyes-le-Mont.

She realises, unlike the Cullach Gorrym, that not all of the Maghuin Dhonn are mischievous and dangerous and that the race should not be persecuted as a whole for something which happened centuries ago (which is also something that is shrouded in myth).
