! Main Heroes

Son of George Joestar and Dio's older brother. He is a master of Hamon and an Archaeology Major. Later he gains the use of the "Ultimate Hermit Purple" thanks to being hit with the stand arrow.
-----
* TheAce: He is one of the best Hamon fighters in the world. And after 100 years, he was the only one to gain a stand using the stand arrow, whereas it's noted that everyone else died when hit by the arrow.
* AdaptationalBadass:
** In the original, young [=JoJo=] was incredibly strong, athletic, and a good boxer; Dio just happened to be even more skilled. Here, he's pretty much over-classed Dio in every way, was a proficient Hamon user, and acquired the strongest stand via the arrow, where it's noted that everyone else who got hit by it died.
** In its very brief screentime, Jonathan's unnamed Stand worked exactly like Hermit Purple. Here, the Stand is massively more powerful than Hermit Purple and has an absurd range, being able to cross continents.
* AdaptationalJerkass: Jonathan in the manga is the perfect gentleman and the [=JoJo=] with the purest heart. This Jonathan is violently impulsive and snarky and is very insensitive, often disregarding Dio's reservations towards many situations.
* AsskickingLeadsToLeadership: It's not through being a Joestar alone that everyone respects and fears Jonathan.
%%* BashBrothers: With Dio.
* BerserkButton: Crossdressing, courtesy of George I. Hell, even mentioning his father's name will make him react the same way Dio did with his father in the actual manga.
* BigBrotherBully: Has well-meaning intentions towards Dio, but the results look like this is happening. Though that is a reason for him bring a coffin to his own wedding party just to prank Dio.
* BigGood: He is both the patriarch and most powerful member of the Joestar group.
* BokeAndTsukkomiRoutine: Shares this dynamic with Dio. Exactly which of them is either the Boke or Tsukkomi varies though.
* CallingYourAttacks: Whenever he uses Hamon.
* CloudCuckoolander: Big time. Both Joseph and Jotaro inherited this from him.
* CloudcuckoolandersMinder: He serves as this to Dio, making sure that Dio's rampant curiosity doesn't get him into too much trouble.
* Cuckoosnarker: Jonathan is one of the kookiest characters, whose quirks have included, but are not limited to, making fun of Dio whenever he gets the chance, having a hellhound as a pet and does "Dio-telling" when he runs out of ideas. He can also be quite snarky when he gets the urge.
--> Jonathan: (to Dio) "'Ow?' What hurts? Your fashion sense?"
* FreakOut: When he learns that the body he is using is his father's body, he went on a rampage that lasted a day.
* GeniusBruiser: Even more powerful than his original incarnation, and no less knowledgeable.
* HappilyMarried: To Erina, who is a very large woman in this story.
* InTheBlood: He retroactively establishes Joseph and Jotaro's complete CloudCuckoolander tendencies. He also passed onto Jotaro his hard head, figuratively and literally.
* IrrationalHatred: Develops one after killing his father for wearing his pocket watch. Which is funny since it's shown that he respects his father up to that point, even overlooking his crossdressing tendencies.
* TheJinx: Every ship he rides is bound to malfunction and sink. It can be presumed that he activated his curse when the ship they used for the wedding exploded, as Jotaro's curse was activated the same way.
* NiceGuy: He's still a nice guy, even hesitating to kill Dio when the latter was on a rampage. As long as you don't ever mention his father's name or crossdress in his manor, as Dio and Nukesaku found out the hard way.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: Contributed to Bruford and Tarkus turning into zombies by punching Dio in the face to stop him from pulling a lever. The blood he drew dripped into the coffins, which revived the pair as zombies who immediately tried to kill him and Dio.
* Really700YearsOld: Is stated to be 120 years old as of JJBA yet looks like he didn't age a day thanks to his Hamon abilities.
* SelfMadeOrphan: Kills George I for using his pocketwatch to cover his groin. Notably, no one holds this against Jonathan (possibly because they are too afraid to.)
* SkewedPriorities: He forgives Dio for attacking him and burning the Joestar manor down, but kills George for using his pocket watch as underwear.
* SuperpowerLottery: Gained the "Ultimate Hermit Purple" stand or ULPU for short. Nearly all its stats are infinity with the exception of accuracy and growth.
* WalkingWasteland: To the point where there is an alarm whenever he activates ULPU. It's shown that his rampage has destroyed fields and even a mountain.
* WorldsStrongestMan: Even more so than his canon counterpart that Dio Brando is very afraid of his wrath even if it's not directed at him. He even grows stronger 100 years later when he gains the Ultimate Hermit Purple stand.

Jonathan's adoptive brother and the focus of Dio's Bizarre Adventure. Here, he is not a jerkass unlike the manga, and has a very close relationship with Jonathan, even if he does not like to admit it.
-----
* AdaptationalHeroism: Unlike the original series, Dio here is completely on the side of good and a firm ally of the Joestars.
* AdaptationalNiceGuy: From the first page he's introduced, he looks just like the Dio we all know from the manga. Then he lives with the utterly weird Joestars, which turns him from an ambitious, conniving sociopath to a nervous, reserved, yet curious person.
* AwesomeByAnalysis: He is able to imitate Jonathan's Hamon technique just by watching him while the latter trains. He was successfully able to create Hamon in one try.
* BadPowersGoodPeople: He retains all of his downright creepy vampire powers from canon, but only uses them for good.
%%* BashBrothers: With Jonathan.
* BokeAndTsukkomiRoutine: Shares this dynamic with Jonathan. Exactly which of them is either the Boke or Tsukkomi varies though.
* ButtMonkey: This universe is not kind to Dio Brando. He gets adopted by the absolutely bonkers Joestars, accidentally turns himself into a vampire, and dragged to really bizarre situations he'd rather not get part of.
* CoolUncle: Or rather great-great-granduncle to Jotaro. Not than Jotaro Tsundere would ever admit it.
* CuriosityIsACrapshoot: Dio's curiosity gets him into trouble quite often, with Jonathan being forced to bail him out.
** When he discovers the Stone Mask in Jonathan's drawer, he immediately decides to put it on. Right after accidentally cutting himself. He promptly turns into a vampire and wrecks the mansion.
** He also gets caught in a very obvious trap in the tomb of Tarkus and Bruford.
* DrunkWithPower: He was accidentally hit in the back of his head with a flesh bud thanks to it bouncing back from Jotaro's head. Amusingly, this caused him to assume Canon!Dio's personality and even has the same mannerisms as his canon counterpart.
* ForcedKiss: Erina's first kiss was forced onto Dio. It doesn't end well for Dio, as Jonathan showed him.
* FriendlyNeighborhoodVampire: This Dio remains friends with Jonathan after becoming a vampire (which was accidental in the first place), and doesn't intentionally hurt anyone with his new powers.
* HeroicSacrifice: Channels Hamon himself defeat Tarkus and save Jonathan, despite knowing that it will have the same effect on him that sunlight does. Luckily, he was able to cut off his head and attached it to Jonathan's body.
* HeroesLoveDogs: In a reversal of his memetic scene, this Dio loves dogs even if that dog is a flaming hellhound.
* InSpiteOfANail: Despite being a much nicer person and specifically not wanting to lose his humanity, he still turns into a vampire and takes Jonathan's body. This time because he decided to try on the Stone Mask without knowing what it did, and later lost his own body using Hamon to kill Tarkus.
* KickTheDog: Like in canon, Dio kicks Danny. Unlike in canon, this is during his rampage after being turned into a vampire, and a sign that Dio is NotHimself.
* TheLancer: To Jonathan.
* LargeHam: Of course. This is DIO we're talking about.
* MundaneUtility: He uses his vampiric superpowers to excel at rugby.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: He accidentally turned Tarkus and Brufort into zombies when his blood dripped into cracks in their coffins.
* OffWithHisHead: Dio does this to himself in order to not be affected by his own Ripple and accidentally pulls a GrandTheftMe on Jonathan's body.
* PowerHigh: He took a massive boost of power after he got hit in the back of the head by a flesh bud. His personality was switched to canon!Dio's personality, even declaring his KickTheDog tendencies.
* Really700YearsOld: Is stated to be 120 years old like his stepbrother and looks like he didn't age a day thanks to his vampire powers.
* SupportingProtagonist: Jonathan is still the main focus of the first webcomic with Dio going along for the ride. He's given the chance to shine in his fight with Tarkus and how he saved the others from the exploding ship.
* TimeMaster: Of course this is Dio we're talking about.
* WasOnceAMan: In this continuity, he wound up a vampire by complete accident; he tried on the Stone Mask right after getting a cut on his finger.
* WeakenedByTheLight: Which comes with being a vampire. He was almost killed by Arabia Fats cause of this.
* YankTheDogsChain: When it looks like nothing bad will happen there would always be an accident that would make his life miserable.

Jonathan's grandson and Jotaro's grandfather. He was called to Egypt by his grandfathers to investigate the stone mask and to track down whoever stole it in the first place.
-----
* AdaptationalBadass: It is explicitly stated in the original manga that he never kept up with his Hamon training, which is why he looks as old as he does in Stardust Crusaders. Here, he's just as capable of using Hamon as the original Joseph was in Battle Tendency, meaning he can stay young-looking if he wants to.
* BackFromTheDead: Like the others who got hit by their canon fates, he got his blood sucked dry by Straizo and was sent to the museum as a mummy display. He was revived by a blood transfusion.
* FountainOfYouth: Hamon keeps him young. He actually never aged after Battle Tendency, and takes the form of an old man in Stardust Crusaders because no one believes him when he says that a teenager is the CEO of Joestar Real Estate.
* CaptainCrash: Exaggerated from canon. It's said to be a curse of his, much like how Jonathan always sinks ships he sails on and .
--> Joseph: Out of all 299 plane rides I've ridden, all 299 planes crashed. But I think we'll be fine
* TheCharmer: Was able to charm Mariah into deleting the embarrassing photos of him and Avdol with his young appearance.
* CloudCuckoolander: He's odd and is a crossdresser. It seems to be a familial trait, as Jonathan and Jotaro can attest.
* CoolOldGuy: He's cool enough to buy tickets to an amusement park for everyone, and he's respected by nearly everyone.
* CreepyCrossdresser: When he's wearing the tequila outfit in his old man appearance.
* TheGadfly: Does the same prank he did to Jotaro towards Caesar and Avdol. Both are not amused.
* GratuitousEnglish: This is Joseph Joestar we're talking about.
* TheJinx: He can't ride a plane without it crashing, an exaggeration on his bad luck with planes in the manga.
* ManChild: He likes to crossdress, throw pranks at anyone, and decided to buy tickets to an amusement park instead of calling Dio as Avdol suggested.
* ShowSomeLeg: Does this to Mariah to persuade her to not post the picture of him in drag on Twitter.
* SleptThroughTheApocalypse: He was revived by Caesar via blood transfusion, but was knocked out by the latter's punch thanks to his prank.
* WholesomeCrossdresser: Likes to wear his Tequila Joseph dress. Somehow manages to hide the whole thing underneath his normal clothes... which include a pair of pants.

Jonathan's great-great-grandchild and the hero of Bizarre Summer Break. He is a delinquent who refuses to come out of his home until his grandfather Joseph visits the Kujo household. It's also noted that he's a stand user since birth.
-----
* AdaptationalDumbass: Jotaro in the original manga is a rather astute fighter that always keeps his cards close to his heart. This Jotaro is an impulsive, maniacal manchild who's only getting by because of his teammates.
* AdaptationalJerkass: Thanks to his Manchild tendencies. He speaks his mind without any filter, will turn his back from messy situations he caused, and insult people without thinking.
* AdaptationalWimp: While he has the same powers as his manga counterpart, his childish tendencies make him look far less badass than his manga counterpart.
* AwesomeByAnalysis: He has a near-encyclopedic knowledge of animals and also knowledgeable of other cultures ( though Kakyoin taught him that one) as he shows in the luxury liner.
* BigDamnHeroes: Arrived in the nick of time to save his uncle Dio from Arabia Fat's stand.
* Chuunibyou: Described as such by his grandfather.
* ChildhoodFriends: With Kakyoin, ever since he learned that Kakyoin has a stand.
* CloudCuckoolander: Oh so much so that he's unrecognizable from his original characterization. Not a bad thing since this trait made him more endearing to the readers.
* CowardlyLion: Tries not to show fear whenever someone tells a scary story or if he encounters anything unnatural such as his IdenticalStranger Oingo. Even the mention of a baby ghost is enough for Star Platinum to reflect his frightened mental state.
* CuriosityIsACrapshoot: He will disregard every single warning and keeps getting into trouble. Only Kakyoin and Polnareff can keep him in line.
* Determinator: Nothing can stop him from saving Dio, even unintentionally activating his own Joestar curse on the way.
* DrivesLikeCrazy: Of course, he had just commandeered a car and was desperately trying to save Dio at the time. .
* FanBoy: Of Polnareff, and the concept of justice in general. He's also a big fan of Steely Dan and even received his signature after giving the latter a pep talk.
* Geek: Socially inept, but also a huge fanboy of several things, such as the concept of being a hero.
* GeniusDitz: Is a total manchild and isn't bright most of the time. However, he was able to trick Enya into revealing herself and was able to out-trick DIO in their fight.
* GenreSavvy: PlayedForLaughs. He was able to identity Polnareff as a stand user thanks to his AssKickingPose.
* IdenticalGrandson: To his grandfather Joseph to the point he mistakes the latter as his Doppelganger when Joseph wore his clothes.
* InnocentlyInsensitive: This Jotaro says whatever on his mind, usually insulting people without meaning to. He calls Avdol ugly many times before he learns his real name and commented on ZZ's weird arms, which sets him off so much he broke his chains and chased after them.
* IrrationalHatred: The reason he's pissed at DIO? DIO promised to visit him again but didn't for 10 years.
* TheJinx: Unknowingly activated his curse by crashing Senator Phillip's car. Now he can't ride a car without crashing it.
* ManChild: He's turning 18 in a few months so he counts. This Jotaro is very socially inept, gets easily scared by ghost stories and acts like a really young kid even holding a petty grudge against DIO for almost 10 years just because he didn't visit him like he promised.
* TheStoic: Or tries to be. No one else is fooled by his attempts to be cool.
* TooDumbToLive: Makes decisions that would have killed or severely injured him (falling in a whirlpool, insulting ZZ, stopping his heart as a prank to DIO). The only reason why he's not dead is that his allies keep close watch over him.
* Tsundere: Type 1 in general, but especially towards Dio.

! Major Allies

Jonathan's best friend. He helps out with Jonathan's thesis and is always there for his best friend, even running all the way to Bruford and Tarkus's resting place after he was left behind.
-----
* AttackHello: In a parody of his meeting with Dio in the manga, he declares he can sense evil within Dio and kicks him with a chandelier.
* DemotedToExtra: Since Dio took over his role as Jonathan's friend.
* DetectEvil: Just like his manga counterpart, only it's questionable since Dio is a nice guy in this continuity.
* UndyingLoyalty: Once again, towards Jonathan.

Joseph's companion for the trip to Egypt. Unfortunately for him, Joseph forgot to introduce him to the others so no one else knows who he is.
-----
* ArtShift: In his very first appearance, he is drawn the same way as the Bishounen Jojonium art style.
* ButtMonkey: If someones getting hurt or insulted, it's usually Avdol getting the short end of the stick. He even lost his house at the end of Jonathan's ULPU attacks.
* CaptainObvious: Used his special cards to predict that they are facing a stand user. While inside a labyrinth that can only be created by a stand user.
* HotBlooded: Has quite the temper, though he hides it well. Sometimes his walls crack if he is hurt too much such as asking Polnareff to kill himself after Polnareff landed under him.
* KillItWithFire: Destroys the fake Avdols that Jotaro had wished.
* OddFriendship: With Vanilla Ice after their fight with Kenny G.
* OnlySaneMan: To Joseph and co's weird antics. He even chastises the latter for buying tickets to an amusement park instead of calling DIO.
* RageBreakingPoint: At many points in the story he just loses his temper.
** He first snaps after Jotaro calling him ugly one too many times and Polnareff revealing that he always thought his hair is weird.
** He burns down the Avdol dolls (his old man disguise and him peeing) that Judgement made.
** He snapped after reading the insult on the wall left by Kenny G.
--> Avdol: "How annoying!"
* StraightMan: Is completely unamused by every shenanigan that happen around him.

Jotaro's long-suffering best friend dragged to the trip to Egypt. Notably, in this incarnation, he's friends with Jotaro since they were 15 after learning they can see each other's stands.
-----
* AlmostDeadGuy: He still got gut-punched and flung to a water tower courtesy of Straizo. He managed to cling to life long enough to send a petty grudge towards Joseph, Jonathan, and Straizo's fight to happen and for Straizo to escape by healing him as a distraction.
* ArtShift: He was drawn exactly like his infamous Heritage for the Future pose, and his flashback has him drawn with his first design in the manga.
* CallingYourAttacks: EMERALD SPLASH!
* TheCharmer: Was able to charm the women brushed aside by Jotaro.
* ChildhoodFriends: He befriended Jotaro ever since he learned that the latter has a stand. The two became close friends to the point Jotaro takes him everywhere he goes and keeps asking him not to go back home.
* CloudCuckoolandersMinder: He tries to keep Jotaro from doing anything stupid.
* DeadpanSnarker: Can be very brutal in snarking at his friends.
--> Kakyoin: I drew some shit as well
--> [Shows his drawing of Jotaro]
--> Jotaro: ...Hey you. Isn't that me?
--> Kakyoin: No, it's a shit.
--> Jotaro: You're saying that I'm a shit to you?
* DraggedByTheCollar: Kakyoin had zero intention of accompanying the Joestar group to Egypt, preferring to spend his summer break relaxing at home. Unfortunately, Jotaro was very...insistent (knocking Kakyoin out and dragging him along while unconscious).
* GutPunch: Still got a hole in his stomach, this time courtesy of Straizo. He got better.
* LastBreathBullet: He didn't die, but was able to repay Straizo back by tearing his body apart with an emerald splash.
* LikesOlderWomen: He even says the same quote as in the manga.
* OnlySaneMan: Relatively speaking, compared to everyone else.
* TheSoCalledCoward: Acts like a coward during his fight with Straizo, but was stalling for time to possess the hostage with his stand. He was able to impress Straizo with his tactics and ability to fight.
* StraightMan: Most of the humor Kakyoin provides is his contrast with the other characters' bizarreness.
* VitriolicBestBuds: With Jotaro, though it's more on his end. He constantly chastises Jotaro for being reckless and a huge ManChild sometimes, but they're very close.

A globetrotting hero of justice who hunts down stand users that are abusing their stands for evil. Ever since his sister Sherry died, he took up the sword to prevent such evil from hurting anyone again.
-----
* BerserkButton: Don't ever mention J.Geil's name.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: He's one of the friendliest characters, yet if you mention J.Geil's name or anger him he gets angry to the point his stand manifests as a monstrous creature.
* BigBrotherInstinct: To Sherry, Jotaro, and to a lesser extent, Kakyoin.
* CombatPragmatist: The second he realizes that Ebony Devil's user is in the mini-fridge, he tapes it up and throws it out the window.
* CoolBigSis: Big brother version. Jotaro looks up to him for being a "Stand user of justice". He is even this to Sherry and is the reason why he got attached to Jotaro.
* ForGreatJustice: Is famous for embodying this, and looked up to by Jotaro for this.
* FightingYourFriend: After being possessed by Anubis, he fights Jotaro and Iggy.
* FriendlyRivalry: With Hol Horse.
* Irony: Calls himself a "Stand User of Justice" yet has a hard time keeping it together when facing his demons to the point that he acts villainous and Silver Chariot even turns monstrous in design.
* LightningBruiser: He doesn't need a stand to chase and punch a hole in someone's torso.
* MyNameIsInigoMontoya: After remembering how Jotaro stopped him from pummeling Enya, he gave an epic one to J.Geil as his farewell gift before killing him.
--> Polnareff: "My name is J.P. Polnareff! In the name of my sister's soul so that my sister can rest in peace... I shall defeat you"
--> Polnareff: "I'll leave the rest to the devil."
* OnceKilledAManWithANoodleImplement: Hol Horse found him bludgeoning J.Geil to death with appliances and toilet plungers.
* RunningGag: He still has the misfortune of a recurring gag involving toilet jokes, only this time he takes it gracefully.
* UnstoppableRage: Polnareff notes that he lost his sense of reason while fighting J.Geil and didn't fight honorably.

A Boston Terrier found in New York that eluded many Dog Catchers. Only Jonathan was able to catch him and semi-tame him.
-----
* CloudCuckoolandersMinder: He stops Dio from getting into trouble with the artifacts collected in the mansion.
* FastballSpecial: Iggy was thrown by N'doul to stop Jotaro from stepping on a bomb.
* OutscareTheEnemy: Was able to subdue Anubis thanks to his experiences as a mob boss.
* PokemonSpeak: he says "Iggy Iggy" whenever he barks.
* TalkingAnimal: We can hear his thoughts and can communicate with Pet Shop, but humans can't understand him like in the manga.

! Other Allies

Jonathan's childhood friend and fiance. For some reason, she grows up to be an 18-foot giant in the story.
-----
* AttackOfThe50FootWhatever: She grew up to monstrous heights.
* ChildhoodFriendRomance: Jonathan and she are childhood friends and love each other, though that still doesn't stop her from stealing Dio's first kiss.
* HappilyMarried: To Jonathan. How they had normal-sized children is a mystery.
* SacredFirstKiss: In an inversion of the famous kissing scene, She forcibly takes Dio's first kiss in front of Jonathan, causing him to beat Dio senseless.

Jonathan's father and the head of the Joestar household, that is until he was killed by his own son for wearing his pocketwatch as underwear.
-----
* DiesDifferentlyInTheAdaptation: In the original manga, he was stabbed by Dio in a blow meant for Jonathan. Here, he is impaled by Jonathan for wearing nothing but Jonathan's pocketwatch as underwear.
* TheGiant: He's even taller than Jonathan.
* HandOrObjectUnderwear: Used Jonathan's pocketwatch as a loincloth. Jonathan was not amused.
* KilledOffForReal: He was violently killed by Jonathan for wearing his son's pocket watch to cover himself.
* WeHardlyKnewYe: Only appears in two scenes, when he was crossdressing and when he wore the pocketwatch as his underwear.
* WholesomeCrossdresser: He wore a Sailor Moon outfit in his first appearance.

A Hamon practitioner and Jonathan's mentor. He can only speak with "Pa Pow" and has to let someone translate for him.
-----
* EccentricMentor: He can only speak with "Pa Pow", and he broke Dio's arm and tried to heal it as a way to show his Hamon skills but failed, causing Dio to lose interest in learning Hamon.
* PokemonSpeak: can only communicate with "Pa Pow", needing Jonathan to translate for him.
* SparedByTheAdaptation: He does not die since he was not present in Bruford and Tarkus' fight with Jonathan.

Jotaro's mother
-----
* DotingParent: Bordering on MyBelovedSmother, at least in Jotaro's opinion.
* OneSceneWonder: Only appears once in the comic.

A runaway girl who wants to travel the world. Unlike her canon counterpart, she's a total badass who is able to defend herself and saved Jotaro twice.
-----
* ActionGirl: She can definitely defend herself even if she's a kid.
* AdaptationalBadass: The biggest example. Here, Anne is able to take out both ZZ and Forever on her own, and even saves Jotaro on a few occasions.
* BigDamnHeroes: She saves Jotaro from drowning and helps Jotaro, Kakyoin, and Avdol escape from ZZ.
* MsFanservice: Was shown showering, and killed Forever for peeping on her.

Joseph's wife and Jotaro's grandmother.
-----
* TheCameo: was shown in a few scenes visiting and looking over Holy.

! Servants of Jonathan and Dio

* AdaptationalHeroism: Since Dio is good and firmly allied with Jonathan, the same goes for many of his servants. Most who aren't directly allied with the Joestars are instead neutral/unaffiliated.

One of Dio's servants in the Joestar mansion. His stand is Osiris, which can take the souls of people who lose in games against him.
-----
* KindheartedCatLover: And he agreed to let Jotaro pet his cat. No soul-stealing involved.
* TheStoic: Can keep a poker face, which is why Avdol, whose almost ready to snap if Joseph strips again, forced him to accompany Joseph.
* UndyingLoyalty: To Jonathan and Dio to the point that they willingly let themselves be questioned with a fleshbud attached to their head.
* YourSoulIsMine: Took Polnareff's soul offscreen. The latter's soul returning is a sign that something bad has happened to him.

One of Dio's servants in the Joestar mansion. His stand is Atum, which can take the souls of people who lose in video games against him.
-----
* TheComicallySerious: He skates on the floor as his introduction.
* FriendlyRivalry: To Kakyoin, to the point he invites the latter is playing with a very rare version of F-Mega when he heard he was going back to Japan.
* TheJeeves: is this to both Jonathan and Dio.
* UndyingLoyalty: To Jonathan and Dio to the point that they willingly let themselves be questioned with a fleshbud attached to their head.

One of Dio's servants in the Joestar mansion. His stand is Cream, which can create a pocket dimension and send stuff that it hits over there.
-----
* TheComicallySerious: This Vanilla Ice is very fond of putting holes in the manor walls, making it look like swiss cheese. Terence notes that he does this every day.
* EmergencyTransformation: Is transformed into a vampire to save his life after he cuts off his own head, like in canon.
* OddFriendship: Formed a bond with Avdol after their fight with Kenny G.
* RageBreakingPoint: PlayedForLaughs just like Avdol, he snapped easily when they lost track of Kenny G.
--> Vanilla Ice: "How Annoying!"
* ThereWasADoor: Remember when Vanilla Ice left a room through a wall in canon? This Vanilla Ice makes a habit of doing this.
* TooDumbToLive: He still cuts off his head when Dio asks for his blood... but this time, all Dio wanted was to test the Stone Mask, which only requires that some blood touch it. Dio has to turn him into a vampire to save him.
* UndyingLoyalty: To Jonathan and Dio to the point that they willingly let themselves be questioned with a fleshbud attached to their head.

One of Dio's servants in the Joestar mansion. His stand is Geb, which lets him manipulate water in long distances.
-----
* FastballSpecial: In an inversion of their fight, N'doul throws Iggy to stop Jotaro from stepping on a bomb.
* TheGadfly: Says that he can find Jotaro with his cane, only to say it's a wild guess then says he wants to play shoot the ring after asking the group to throw him a ring.
* UndyingLoyalty: To Jonathan and Dio.
* SuperSenses: Has a very sharp sense of hearing, which is how he knows Jotaro's location and that he was about to step on a bomb.

Dio's pet bird. He's a big fan of Iggy and really wants to be his underling.
-----
* AdaptationPersonalityChange: This Pet Shop is a very dorky bird compared to the more sadistic original version.
* IgnoredEnamoredUnderling: Non-romantic version. Pet Shop is a big fan of Iggy and wants to be his underling. Iggy's having none of it.
* KillItWithIce: Horus's powers.

One of Dio's servants in the Joestar mansion. His body is put up in display as a warning to those who break the rules of the mansion.
-----
* DisproportionateRetribution: On the receiving end of this, being killed and encased in ice by Jonathan due to engaging in cross-dressing, which is a no-no for Jonathan.
* MakeAnExampleOfThem: His body is put in the manor gates as a warning to people who crossdress/break the manor rules.
* PosthumousCharacter: Is already dead upon introduction.

! Neutral

An old man who has the Tower of Grey stand.
-----
* AccidentalMurder: His stand was crushed by Jotaro's weight when he was knocked out by Kakyoin to prevent him from punching a hole in the plane.
* AdaptationalHeroism: Canon Grey Fly loved causing horrible crashes and ripping out peoples' tongues. This guy just seems to be overly curious and has had his stand in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The luxury ship's captain. He was killed by Anne after trying to catch her for being a stowaway.
-----
* KilledOffForReal: Was killed by Anne kicking his face and bled to death.
* TaintedVeins: Has this everywhere in his body, even on his nose.

A bounty hunter and J.Geils partner until he was killed by Polnareff. Now he and Polnareff are rivals in catching their intended targets.
-----
* ButtMonkey: Even more so than the manga. He got pushed out of the boat by an Elephant, was a victim of Enya's attacks, got almost crushed by Jonathan's ULPU, and Polnareff always kills his targets before him. Polnareff even notes that he's good at it.
--> Polnareff: "Ah Hol Horse can take it. If there's one thing he's good at, it's having bad luck."
* ImprobableAimingSkills: Hol Horse's Stand can control the bullets from his gun. And this time we was sucessful in shooting coins flying at high speed.
* NiceGuy: He's respectful to women, doesn't really hold a grudge against Polnareff for killing his partner and stealing his targets, and saves Oingo from getting hit in the face by coins bullets.
* MadeOfIron: Was fine after being hit by a rampaging elephant and thrown overboard the cruise ship.
* FriendlyRivalry: With Polnareff. Even if Polnareff gets to his target first, he doesn't hold a grudge against him.
* WouldntHitAGirl: Save for one moment.

A young Indian woman and lover of elephants, currently on vacation on the same cruise ship the Jojos are.
-----
* AdaptationalAttractiveness: Here, the beautiful Indian girl is Nena's true form, instead of a disguise.
* AdaptationalNiceGuy: She's a normal woman who is on a vacation with her elephants. She gives Joseph a token after they found out they like the same cartoon character.
* KindHeartedAnimalLover: She brings her elephants with her on their vacation trip.

A Sakuban monk whose training actually includes chaining himself upside down to a rock, instead of the Crusaders leaving him like that and putting up a sign so no one would free him.
-----
* AdaptationalJobChange: In the original manga, he's just another thug who was hired by Dio to kill Jotaro and his friends. Here, he really is a monk doing weird meditiation and training.
* HairTriggerTemper: Sabukan monks get triggered very easily by any blunders against them, as Jotaro found out the hard way.
* SuperSpeed: He can run so fast that it appears that an automobile is chasing the group down.
* TrainingFromHell: ZZ is shown to be chained upside down on a rock and the sign says that he's training and should not be disturbed, this time it's for real.
* VowOfCelibacy: Explained that all Sabukan monks vow to keep themselves pure and clean. That's why he fainted after seeing an Indian nude photo thrown by Anne.

A Hollywood star who became famous in the movie "Lovers". He is posing as a Kebab seller after reading his script for "Lovers 2". In this version, all of the things he forced Jotaro to do for him while holding Joseph hostage are things that he's supposed to do in his next movie.
-----
* AdaptationalNiceGuy: Canon!Steely Dan is one of the worst of the assassins sent by Dio, using Joseph as a hostage to humiliate Jotaro. This Steely Dan is an actor, and genuinely friendly.
* ComicalOverreacting: Was so distressed about being found out and learning his role in Lovers 2 is him crying and being a brown-noser that he began to Irony use himself as a bridge while Jotaro stands on top of him.
* MeanCharacterNiceActor: In-verse example. He's supposedly kicked the trend of "scumbag boom" of Hollywood actors. And he's nice enough to leave Jotaro an autograph as thanks for inspiring him even after the heavy beatdown he just received.
* RapidFireFisticuffs: On the receiving end of it, only this time Jotaro did it as a way to motivate him for his next movie.

An ordinary baby inflicted with an unknown sickness. His ghost was found by Kakyoin.
-----
* BrainyBaby: Despite being a normal baby, he can still talk in his spirit form.
* OutOfBodyExperience: In this incarnation, he's just an ordinary baby that's dying and his spirit is found by Kakyoin. He returns to his body after spending some time with Kakyoin and others.

The submarine ride tour guide is dressed as a belly dancer.
-----
* BeautyIsNeverTarnished: Averted, for some reason all her teeth were broken after the submarine she's working in was swallowed by High Priestess.
* MsFanservice: She's a beautiful woman in belly dancer clothing. Joseph even lifts up her skirt.

Oingo's brother and an aspiring artist. Although the drawings he made are pure nightmare fuel and creep out whoever reads them.
-----
* TheEeyore: Is gloomy all the time.
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: Cares for his brother even if he wants to disfigure his face himself.
* NightmareFetishist: He always draws creepy photos with an art style reminiscent of Thoth and wishes that every good-looking people die.
* TheOnlyOneAllowedToDefeatYou: Wants to be the only one to disfigure his brother's face.

A taxi driver who looks exactly the same as Jotaro and Boingo's brother.
-----
* AdaptationalAttractiveness: Not exactly hard to see when he looks like he can be Jotaro's twin.
* IdenticalStranger: Looks exactly like Jotaro so much that Jotaro believes him to be his Doppelganger.
* NiceGuy: Offers Jotaro a ride to the Joestar mansion for free after finding out they're look-alikes. And Boingo's threats of disfiguring his face either go right through his head, or he's just taking it as a joke.

A twitter celebrity who has lots of followers. She was able to get an embarrassing picture of Joseph and Avdol and plans to post it online to gain more followers
-----
* Gonk: Normally she's very attractive, but her most popular tweet is her hideous facial expressions when she's angry.
* SocialMediaBeforeReason: Wants to upload Joseph and Avdol's risque photo so much that she almost runs over a train while trying to get away.

! Villains

A corpse accidentally brought to life by Dio's blood.
-----
* BloodKnight: He's barbaric enough to sever Jonathan's head while the other is caught off-guard.
* TheBrute: Relies on Super Strength and his surprising agility, and is undoubtedly crueler than Bruford.
* HeroKiller: He managed to behead Jonathan and gave quite a pounding to Dio, whose vampire healing is the only thing that saves him from getting killed. Dio has to sacrifice his body to use Hamon just to kill him.

A corpse accidentally brought to life by Dio's blood.
-----
* FallenHero: Along with Tarkus, he used to be a brave self-sacrificing knight before Dio accidentally revived him with his blood.
* FaceDeathWithDignity: After seeing Jonathan beheaded, he remembers Mary and dies like in the manga.
* PrehensileHair: He can manipulate him and use it as a weapon.

* UndyingLoyalty: Originally to his queen, Mary, even uttering her name as his last words.

An orangutan on the ship. He is actually an old man who was a disease that makes him look like an orangutan and decides to take advantage of that.
-----
* DirtyOldMan: He is actually an old man who is disguised as an orangutan.
* KilledOffForReal: Killed by Anne after trying to peep in the showers.

* CurbStompBattle: Was easily defeated by Polnareff and his body was thrown in the ocean.
* DestinationDefenestration: The fridge he's in was duct-taped and thrown into the ocean.

J.Geil's mother. Basically the same as canon, though with no connection to Dio due to AdaptationalHeroism.
-----
* AvengingTheVillain: Tries to take vengeance for her son J. Geil's death.
* EvilOldFolks: Can you believe that it's possible to see a resemblance between her and her son because of this?
* INeverToldYouMyName: Jotaro catches her with this, like in canon. Unlike in canon, she gives herself away by referring to Polnareff by name, though Jotaro hadn't told her who he was looking for.
* MiniatureSeniorCitizens: Small enough to get carried in the back by Polnareff.
* PeoplePuppets: Justice can possess people through their wounds.

A stand that looks like a sword that can possess people to do his bidding.
-----
* BodySnatcher: He can possess whoever touches his sword.
* MexicanStandoff: With Iggy. He lost thanks to Iggy's mob boss experience against his indoor dog lifestyle.

He appears as an apparition inside a mirror world that chases the target with an ax.
-----
* AxCrazy: Sports an ax. And he's even scarier than his canon counterpart.
* CompositeCharacter: It seems that his character is combined with Death 13's ability inside dreams and Hanged Man's mirror motif.
* MirrorMonster: He is inside a cursed mirror that traps a person in. He breaks down the door and will try to hack the poor victim with an ax.
* ShoutOut: Of both Freddy Kruger from Franchise/ANightmareOnElmStreet and Jack from Film/TheShining.
* SlasherSmile: Sports this while chasing his victims.

Another student of Ripple alongside Zeppeli and noted to be Joseph's honorary uncle. He stole the stone mask in an effort to become a vampire and gain eternal life.
-----
* AdaptationalBadass: And how! Straizo was only a starter villain in the manga. This Straizo defeated Joseph in his prime, even using the other's tricks against him, almost killed Kakyoin, set Jotaro and Dio against each other and was able to fend off Jonathan himself.
* BatmanGambit: Steals the stone mask in hopes that Jonathan and Dio will investigate. He also bets on Joseph flying towards Egypt to know that they are now suspicious of him and Jonathan is currently in Tibet in hopes of meeting him.
* BetterToDieThanBeKilled: He commits suicide by channeling Hamon into his body to heal Kakyoin after being defeated by Jonathan. Subverted that he is still alive and no one is wiser.
* BigBad: of Jojo's Bizarre Summer Break. He basically takes DIO's role from the manga.
* CallingYourAttacks: "Space Ripper Stingy Eyes!"
* CoolOldGuy: Was implied to be one before his FaceHeelTurn.
* EyeBeam: And he had a blast practicing his eye beams.
* FaceHeelTurn: He turns into a vampire sometime between DBA and Summer Break Adventure, jealous of Jonathan's power and youth.
* FullFrontalAssault: After Kakyoin hits Straizo with Emerald Splash, Dio and Jotaro find him naked while he's regenerating from his wounds.
* GreenEyedMonster: He is jealous of Jonathan for keeping his youth and being the only one to gain a stand using the arrow.
* HeroKiller: The closest one in the story. He almost killed Kakyoin with his EyeBeam.
* HonoraryUncle: To Joseph. Notably, Joseph remembered how he loved him as his grandfather, causing him to momentarily pause in his attack, giving Straizo the chance to throw a knife at Joseph's throat.
* ImplacableMan: After becoming a vampire.
* IRegretNothing: Even after everything he's done, he doesn't regret becoming a vampire because he'd rather violently die as a young man than whither away.
* ImmortalitySeeker: Even though the Ripple slows aging down, it can't stop it completely, which is why he becomes a vampire.
* KarmaHoudini: He was successfully able to escape from Jonathan after their fight by healing Kakyoin with ripple to look like he committed suicide. And the last time we see him is him walking around the airport where he presumably lives a quiet life.
* KnightOfCerebus: His appearance introduces conflict to a story that had been a series of comedic vignettes up until that point. Suddenly, the heroes are faced with the very real possibility of being killed.
* KnowWhenToFoldEm: Wisely retreated when Jonathan finally arrived on the scene. And he made the right decision, as his ULPU has enough power to devastate Egypt though that doesn't stop him from punching Jonathan to prove himself.
* ManipulativeBastard: Here he's very cunning and was able to predict the protagonist's moves while leading Jonathan to a wild goose chase.
* Necromancer: He uses the stone mask to raise an army of zombies.
* OlderThanHeLooks: He might be old because of Ripple's natural age reduction, but Straizo can still go head-to-head with Jonathan.
* PullingHimselfTogether: After Kakyoin blows him up.
* ScarfOfAsskicking: His scarf doesn't just look cool, it's made from beetle intestines that let disperse the Ripple and was able to hide 15 grenades. And he uses it to cover himself while fighting Jonathan.

A servant of Straizo. He faced off against Avdol, Iggy, and Vanilla Ice
-----
* Bizarchitecture: Tenor Sax made DIO's palace into this.
* HumanAliens: Avdol claims that he is this that's why he cannot seem to sense his presence, though that is a ploy to let Vanilla Ice sneak on him.
* TookALevelInBadass: Here he was able to trap and evade Vanilla Ice, Iggy and Avdol for a while, even putting up a fight.

A servant of Straizo. He cornered Dio with his stand "The Sun", which Dio can't do anything since he'll turn into ash if he removes his covers.
-----
* ManOfKryptonite: To Dio, who he's working against this time around.
* NearVillainVictory: He was this close to eliminating DIO with his stand, a minute more and DIO would have fried in the sun. He was only defeated by Jotaro throwing Senator Philips to him.
* PowerOfTheSun: Was almost able to kill DIO with it.
* WeHardlyKnewYe: Just like the manga, he (the user) only appears in one panel.

A servant of Straizo. This counterpart of J.Geil is already killed by Polnareff before and was resurrected by Straizo as a zombie.
-----
* AxCrazy: He's basically the same J.Geil from the canon-verse.
* BackFromTheDead: Was resurrected by Straizo as a zombie.
* BackForTheDead: And he was killed again by Polnareff, only this time he was able to deliver the final blow as a 'Stand User of Justice'.
* BaldOfEvil: 100% bald, 100% evil.
* KnightOfCerebus: Even more so than Straizo. Unlike Straizo, J. Geil has absolutely no comedic moments, being exactly the same sadistic monster he was in canon. Polnareff's fight with him is also probably the most serious in the story, with Polnareff nearly losing control of himself.
* LovesTheSoundOfScreaming: And he's raped and murdered quite a few women in order to experience it, including Polnareff's sister, which he gloats about. Even Hol Horse had enough of this so he planned to separate from him as shown from his flashback.
* RedRightHand: His most defining feature, a left hand shaped like a right hand.
* RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil: He raped Polnareff's sister before killing her. Keep in mind that the confrontation was played very seriously unlike the other fights and Polnareff was very close to losing it.
* VileVillainSaccharineShow: The goofy comedy completely evaporates the moment he shows up. Not surprising given he's the same sadistic rapist he was in canon.
* YourHeadAsplode: How he died by Polnareff's hands in their second fight.
