27	Shane is a small-time drug lord working out of the docks of Seattle and embroiled in a losing war against the city's topmost gang the Akurans. After Brent disappears, he helps Fetch finding him. [[spoiler: Afterwards, he shows his true colors by kidnapping Brent to force Fetch to continue working for him.]]

43	* FauxAffablyEvil: He presents himself as a helpful if somewhat sleazy individual whose goals align with Fetch, but it soon becomes clear that he's not completely honest.
44	* HateSink: Not only does Shane have no redeeming qualities, but he also doesn't even have any powers that made the other villains so formidable. With all that and everything he puts Fetch through, it becomes clear that Shane was never meant to be liked.
45	* HumansAreTheRealMonsters: Despite being just a regular human, he's arguably one of the most despicable villains in the franchise. Aside from being highly racist towards Conduits he emotionally abuses one into doing his bidding by holding her brother hostage, and later attempts to kill them both despite already doing Shane's bidding. That's not even getting to the part where he injects her with drugs that causes her [[spoiler: to accidentally kill her own brother]]. In short, he's the perfect example of the kind of humans Augustine wants to keep the Conduits safe from.
46	* HumiliationConga: [[spoiler:Lets just say it all goes downhill for Shane after she pushes Fetch a bit too far. To summarize his entire criminal empire is destroyed, gets arrested by the DUP despite not being a conduit, is given to by Fetch to personally execute, and tries to escape Fetch running in the cold mountains only for Fetch to catch up to him and give him a slow and excruciating death. Suffice to say he deserves every single moment of it.]]
