'''WARNING:''' SPOILERS ARE INCOMING. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU BE CAUGHT UP TO THE STORY, OR AT LEAST HAVE READ UP TO ARC 19, BEFORE READING THIS PAGE.

An organization of Alters and Natural Heretics currently lead by Gabriel Prosser that operate independently of Crossroads and Eden's Garden, primarily focused on saving innocent Alters from those two organizations.

It was originally a family of "wild" Natural Heretics founded and descended from the remnants of the [[Myth/ArthurianLegend Knights of the Round Table]]. The family itself was eventually reduced to near-extinction with a single (infant) blood relative at the beginning of the 20th century: Joselyn Atherby, Flick's absent mother.

A former Crossroads Academy student who rebelled against Crossroads and Eden's Garden, as well as the mother of Wyatt Rendell, Abigail Fellows, Felicity Chambers, and Ammon; the grandmother of Koren Fellows, and the daughter of Joshua Atherby. Her revolution was far more effective than anyone anticipated and only ended after the Heretic leaders (one Gabriel Ruthers in particular) crossed some serious lines to stop her, culminating in her banishment from the Heretical World. After that she met and married Lincoln Chambers, had Felicity, and became a County Sheriff in Wyoming.

She disappeared in 2007 when [[{{Necromancer}} Fossor]] tracked her down and abducted her, and has been his prisoner ever since. She gave birth to Ammon in this time.

----

* AintTooProudToBeg: While her immediate response was to attack him, Joselyn didn't hesitate to start begging Fossor not to take Felicity when she regained enough of her memory to remember who he was.
* BatmanGambit: Running these is pretty much the only thing Joselyn can do under her own power at this point. She's pretty good at it too, having successfully predicted that Gaia would get Felicity into Crossroads, Lincoln would give Felicity the scrapbook where she wrote her final message, and tricking Ammon into infiltrating Crossroads would expose her method of breaking into the school so the security could plug up that weak point.
* BeingGoodSucks: Joselyn is probably the most heroic Heretic in the story. All she wanted was to stop Crossroads from killing Strangers indiscriminately, to leave the innocent and peaceful Alters alone so they could focus on the Nocen that are actually evil. As a result, her life since the sixties (with the blissful exception of the time she spent with Lincoln and Felicity) has ''[[TraumaCongaLine sucked]]''.
* BigGood: Formerly. Joselyn's actions, accomplishments, beliefs, and charisma were the basis of the revolution. A big part of the reason it got so far was because she found a way to become as powerful as the Crossroads Committee. Even after being imprisoned, she was inspiring her followers to stand against the dogmatic brutality of the establishment Heretics. It wasn't until the memory of ''her'' was erased from their minds that the revolution was ended.
* BroughtDownToNormal: Lost all her powers when she was banished.
* CallForward: Flashbacks featuring Joselyn tend to hint at the worst parts of her future.
** Gaia telling her in 1920 that to be captured and enslaved by a genuinely evil Stranger would be a FateWorseThanDeath.
** During a scene in 1950, Joselyn takes a moment to think to herself that she can't imagine an experience worse than a parent being separated from their child without knowing what might be happening to them.
* TheChessmaster: As the story goes on, it becomes more and more clear that Joselyn was playing the long game with multiple back up plans in case she was captured or mind wiped.
* ChronicHeroSyndrome: When Joselyn was still in school, Gaia tried as hard as she could to get her to be pragmatic and take the InternalReformist route rather than rebel openly. Her attempts failed because Joselyn could not bear to see innocents get hurt and killed without taking action.
* CosmicPlaything: Has spent over 50 years being held prisoner, virtually helpless, shuffled around, and unable to raise any of her children.
* DefiantCaptive: Being under a magical compulsion to obey his orders makes it difficult for Joselyn to be truly defiant to Fossor, but she does what she can as much as she can.
* DualWielding: Joselyn's weapons were/are Hunga Munga, African throwing weapons like her granddaughter's.
* FakeMemories: Joselyn remembered being a 24 year old MilitaryBrat who was estranged from her parents when she met Lincoln in 1999. None of that is true. For starters, she was actually around 98 at the time.
* GladiatorGames: Every day, Fossor makes her fight and kill various Alters in gladiatorial combat. He ramps up the difficulty for her by adding restrictions about when she's allowed to use certain powers, or even fight back.
* GoodIsNotDumb: She was ''never'' naive about Alters. Even when she was seeing through the propaganda at Crossroads Academy, she knew full well that there are plenty of nonhumans that really are every bit as bad as her teachers' claimed they all are and took time to research which Alters she could and could not trust.
** Furthermore, she originally intended to build an UndergroundRailroad to protect Alters rather than rebel openly, but was forced to fight directly when Liam Mason ratted her out to Ruthers.
* GoodParents: '''Yes'''. Putting aside her willingness to sacrifice everything for her children, Felicity's memories about her childhood make it clear that Joselyn really is a damn good mother. She even took a picture of Felicity every single day from her birth until Fossor came and kept them in a scrapbook she updated daily.
** When the two of them finally get to interact over a decade later, Joselyn patiently hears out Felicity's tearful apology and does everything she can to soothe her and let her know that she forgives, loves, and is proud of her.
*** The same meeting gives Joselyn the chance to meet her granddaughter for the first time. She immediately pulls Koren into a hug.
* HeelRealization: Joselyn actually bought into Crossroads' teachings at first, believing that all Strangers were monsters for most of her first year at the school until her team killed a werebear that was protecting a group of Alter children from mobsters.
* HeroicSacrifice: In chronological order:
** Joselyn gave herself up to Crossroads in order to protect her infant twins when Ruthers had them kidnapped. Then she never told anyone what actually happened because he was still threatening them.
** It was actually ''her'' idea to cast the memory spell, end the revolution, and get herself banished back into the Bystander world. She got Gaia to suggest it to the Committee in order to prevent Ruthers from convincing them to inflict an eternal FateWorseThanDeath upon her friends and followers.
** She ''convinced'' Fossor to take her instead of Felicity, willingly becoming his slave in order to give her daughter a chance to escape the same fate.
* HeroicWillpower: The magic Fossor used to ensure her obedience is powerful, but Joselyn has enough willpower to disobey indirect, minor orders with effort.
* InexplicablyAwesome: No one at Crossroads or Eden's Garden knows how she became powerful enough to take on members of the Committee.
* LaserGuidedAmnesia: Joselyn's memories of her life as a Heretic were wiped from her mind until Fossor restored them. It's possible that she's still missing chunks, as Fossor said that he ensured "enough" of her memories returned, as opposed to all of them. Notably, her final message to Felicity implies that she was her only child at that point when she had previously given birth to twins.
** She definitely remembers the twins by the time the story begins, but it's still possible she doesn't have all her memories back.
* LastOfHerKind: She was the last living Atherby for most of her life until her twins were born.
* LockedOutOfTheLoop: For obvious reasons, Joselyn knew virtually nothing about her older children's circumstances as they grew up. She's clearly surprised to learn that she has a granddaughter.
** Averted when it comes to Felicity. Fossor made sure to keep track of her and inform Joselyn of what she was doing and how angry she was over the disappearance as she grew up.
* LoopholeAbuse: She's always on the lookout for loopholes she can use to do things Fossor doesn't want her to, though opportunities don't come often.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: The BatmanGambit she ran on Ammon to reveal her method of breaking into Crossroads worked as she hoped it would. But it also exposed Koren's immunity to Ammon's powers, which eventually exposes her older daughter and granddaughter to Fossor's attention. Ammon also caused serious emotional trauma to Shiori and Avalon during his attack.
* MadeASlave: Joselyn swore magical, binding oaths to serve and obey Fossor in all things in order to get him to leave her daughter alone. She literally can't disobey him.
** SexSlave: "In all things" is NotHyperbole, by the way. [[ChildByRape Ammon had to come from somewhere]].
* MagneticHero: Was charismatic enough to pull many Heretics and Alters to her cause to the point where her revolution went on for over three decades after she was imprisoned. It only ended because ''she'' was wiped from her follower's memories. Even after being BroughtDownToNormal, Joselyn's charisma led to her being elected a Country Sheriff by the age of thirty.
* TheMaidenNameDebate: Her two marriages have come down on both sides of this argument. She didn't take Deveron's name when they got married, at least partially because they were keeping their relationship secret as a security measure. But she did take Lincoln's name as a bystander. Interestingly, both the narration and the chapter tags refer to her as Joselyn Chambers rather than Joselyn Atherby ten years after her abduction and regaining her memory.
* MamaBear: Joselyn's children are her number one priority, bar none. She has never hesitated to sacrifice herself for their safety.
** This most likely extends to Ammon as well, judging by the way she tells Flick how he UsedToBeASweetKid and implies that he's BrainwashedAndCrazy when she sees Flick's obvious hatred of him. He's the one child she couldn't do anything to protect.
* MayDecemberRomance: With Lincoln, although she didn't know her actual age when they met. Not a MayflyDecemberRomance because she was no longer a Heretic and therefore wasn't immortal when they were together.
* MemoryGambit: Part of the reason she was so willing to lose her memories was because she has allies capable of undoing the kind of mind wipe Crossroads can preform, allowing her to escape prison. It would have worked too... if she hadn't met and fallen in love with Lincoln Chambers.
* MessianicArchetype: Meets every point on the list save for being The Chosen One, and as far as we know the Passion Play parallels. She even meets the JC point as Jocelyn Chambers.
* MissingMom: Against her will to ''three'' of her four children. The poor woman can't just catch a break with her kids.
** She has one of these herself too.
* [[DaddyHadAGoodReasonForAbandoningYou Mommy Had A Good Reason For Abandoning You]]: The only way Joselyn could save her daughter from being kidnapped was to allow herself to be taken in her place. In other words, Flick spent ten years hating her mother for saving her from a life of servitude.
** She had almost no part in her twins' lives because they were kidnapped when they were infants, leading to her three decades of imprisonment. Later, she was forced to forget that they even existed.
* ThePlan: Joselyn knew that there was a good chance she would lose her war. As a contingency, she came up with a plan to modify the Heretical Edge itself so it would turn human-Alter hybrids into Heretics as well as pure humans. In 1984, twenty years after her surrender and over a decade before she was [[UnPerson Un-Personed]], her followers [[SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome pulled it off]].
* {{Polyamory}}: Accidentally committed bigamy when she married Lincoln Chambers because her first husband, Deveron Adams, is still alive and they never divorced or separated. Deveron later reveals that this isn't new for her. She had multiple boyfriends at the same time before her imprisonment, although Deveron is the only one she actually married before Lincoln.
* PungeonMaster: Named the rock-vehicles used by the Meregan (called K’lecnahn) "Elvis," because they're ''rocks'' and they ''roll''.
* RebelLeader: She led an open rebellion against the Crossroads Heretics to stop them from killing innocent Strangers.
* RebuiltPedestal: All of Flick's anger over Joselyn's disappearance quickly turns back into love when she learns what actually happened.
* ScrewTheRulesIHaveConnections: Joselyn's status as the last living Atherby was a huge help in dodging Ruthers' many attempts to expel her while she was at Crossroads Academy. The Committee of the time were hoping to use her to fold the remnants of the Atherby Clan into their ranks.
* ScrewTheRulesImDoingWhatsRight: Joselyn couldn't stand the way Crossroads refuses to distinguish between dangerous and peaceful "Strangers" and set out to put a stop to it.
* SinsOfOurFathers: The enemies Joselyn made over the course of her life have deeply affected the lives of all her children.
* TakeMeInstead: Her kidnapper wanted ''Felicity'', but she talked him into taking her instead.
* ThrowTheDogABone: Twice over the course of her TraumaCongaLine.
** Thanks to her followers (with help from Gaia and Nevada), Joselyn's plan to modify the Heretical Edge succeeded in spite of her imprisonment.
** The years she spent with Lincoln and Felicity after being banished were among the best of her life. [[YankTheDogsChain They didn't end well]], but still.
* TraumaCongaLine: In 1964, Joselyn's infant twins were kidnapped, leading her to be imprisoned for three decades and missing out on their entire lives. Then she was [[UnPerson Un-Personed]], [[DePower De-Powered]], [[LaserGuidedAmnesia mind-wiped]], abducted from her happy life with Lincoln and Felicity to be MadeASlave, and has now spent a decade watching her kidnapper raise [[ChildByRape their son]] into a [[TheSociopath Sociopathic]] SerialKiller while taunting her about how much Flick hated her for disappearing and how he's still going to kidnap and enslave her as soon as he can.
* UnPerson: The Heretic leaders (from both factions) came together to cast a spell that erased her from the memories of everyone who was not exempted or protected from the magic.

!The Atherby Family

[[folder: In General]]

The original Atherby family were the descendants of the remnants of the Knights of the Round Table after King Arthur's death. They were originally the "By-Arthur" clan, but the name gradually changed to Atherby over the centuries.

----

* BadassFamily: Even after the Atherby family itself was more or less wiped out and removed, the clan members still think of themselves as being a family.
* TheClan: One that doesn't necessarily require that you be related to the main family. It doesn't even have members of the original clan anymore.
* TheRemnant: While the clan is still around, the actual bloodline has been reduced to just six scattered members: Joselyn, Wyatt, Abigail, Flick, Koren, and Ammon.
** Ironically, this is arguably the family brought BackFromTheBrink, since for centuries it was just Lyell Atherby and his wife and son.
* WrittenByTheWinners: The leaders of Crossroads and Eden's Garden have made an effort to stamp out any information about the Atherby Clan from reaching their members, both to prevent recruits from learning of different Heretic societies and to erase anything that might have made people more likely to listen to Joselyn Atherby.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Joshua Atherby]]

Joselyn's father. He was the last patriarch of the Atherby family, a line of wild Heretics that predate the Heretical Edge. He sacrificed himself to help Gaia seal off the Fomorian portal to earth.

----

* TheApprentice: He was a protege and close friend of Gabriel Prosser, who would later help his daughter start her revolution as a result.
* DisappearedDad: It's kind of hard to raise your daughter when you're dead.
* HeroicSacrifice: Like father, like daughter. Joshua sacrificed himself to empower a spell that sealed the Fomorian world off from earth. But unlike his daughter, this sacrifice cost him his life.
* PosthumousCharacter: He died in 1901.
* SinsOfTheFather: Because Joshua sacrificed himself to empower the spell sealing earth off from the Fomorians, it can only be undone by one of his direct descendants. This paints a target on all of their backs, but particularly results in serious trauma for Abigail and Koren Fellows, his granddaughter and great-granddaughter.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: From an in-universe historical perspective. Joshua's predecessor as patriarch of the Atherby family was Lyell Atherby, who was old enough to have witnessed the Black Death and was making entries in his journal until 1891. This means that Joshua was the Atherby patriarch for a decade, give or take a year or two. In that time he sealed the Fomorians off of earth, preventing them from reclaiming control of humanity, and fathered Joselyn Atherby, who would go on to shape the supernatural world so deeply that even erasing her from everyone's memories couldn't completely stamp out her impact.
* UnPerson: The leaders of Crossroads and Eden's Garden erased everything they could about Joshua and the Atherby family in order to stamp out anything that could conceivably make people more likely to join his daughter's revolution.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Joshua's Wife]]

When Joshua sacrificed his life to seal the Fomorians off from earth, the spell required a living component to keep it active. That component was and is his wife, who [[UnPerson magically sacrificed her identity as an Atherby]] to ensure the spell wouldn't fail. A sacrifice that would have been a lot easier if the pair had not recently had a baby daughter, Joselyn.

Whoever she is, Joshua's wife is still alive, but cannot tell anyone about her connection to Joshua, their daughter, or any of their grandchildren without risking the failure of the spell keeping the Fomorians from invading again. [[spoiler: She is eventually revealed to be Virginia Dare.]]

----

* DaddyHadAGoodReasonForAbandoningYou: Revealing her identity to her daughter (or anyone else) would weaken the seal that keeps the Fomorians off earth.
** [[spoiler: This is eventually deconstructed. The emotional strain of keep her distance from her daughter and grandchildren in the face of the ''many'' dangers they were up against proved too much for her, and her decision to get close enough to help eventually threatens the entire reason she had to leave Joselyn in the first place.]]
* HeroicSacrifice: One that required her to completely cut herself out of her newborn daughter's life.
* MissingMom: To her daughter, by necessity.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: The sacrifice of her identity was necessary to save the world from the Fomorians. But it also led Fossor to notice that he was vulnerable to large scale memory spells. His efforts to protect himself from that kind of magic is what allowed him to remember Joselyn and subsequently abduct her and torment Flick.
* OffingTheOffspring: [[spoiler: When she kills her insane grandson Ammon. It needed to happen, but she ''really'' didn't want to do it.]]
* UnPerson: She was forced to erase all memory of her connection to her husband. Seller believes that Joselyn's similar sacrifice was inspired by her mother's.
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: Nobody really knows what happened to her after the Fomorian invasion, and nobody's looking to find out, either. Seller suspects that Gabriel Prosser made arrangements for her, but he doesn't know for sure.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Lyell Atherby]]

Joshua's father. Lyell was around for the long time. He was one of the Heretics that dealt with and were betrayed by Fossor, and also lived until 1891 at the very least. He was dead within a decade, as his son was the Atherby Patriarch by 1901.

----

* CharacterDevelopment: Lyell's journal implies that he was as anti-nonhuman as Gabriel Ruthers after Fossor's betrayal, but his opinions changed over the years.
* DeathByDespair: Died shortly after his beloved wife.
* HappilyMarried: To Edeva.
* {{Irony}}: His journal includes a warning that Strangers should ''never'' be trusted, made soon after Fossor unleashed TheBlackDeath, and his granddaughter would go on to lead a revolution to stop Heretics from indiscriminately slaughtering all Strangers without distinguishing between Alter and Nocen.
** Also, his journal was dedicated in part to his descendants, and eventually made its way to his great-granddaughter (Flick) and great-great-granddaughter (Koren) through the library at Crossroads Academy, though they didn't know how he was related to them at the time.
* PosthumousCharacter: Lyell died over a century before Flick's birth.
* WrittenByTheWinners: His journal was extensively edited to remove any references to the Atherby Clan or his real opinions about Alters. It wouldn't have been in the Academy's library if it contained any information about an alternative to Crossroads society.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Edeva Atherby]]

Lyell's wife, Joshua's mother, and Seller's daughter. In a way, she's also technically Avalon's sister because her father is Avalon's ParentalSubstitute.

----

* HappilyMarried: To Lyell.
* LineageComesFromTheFather: Subverted. Edeva connects Seller to their descendants maternally, which eventually saves her great-granddaughter Abigail's life.
* PosthumousCharacter: She died a relatively short time before the Fomorian invasion.

[[/folder]]

!The Atherby Clan

[[folder: In General]]

While the Atherby ''Family'' is on the verge of extinction, the majority of the Atherby ''Clan'' still exists and is currently made up of natural Heretics, Alters, and a few Crossroads and Eden's Garden Defectors. Its current leader is Gabriel Prosser.

----

* UndyingLoyalty: To Atherby family as a whole, and Joselyn Atherby in particular.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Gabriel Prosser]]

A HistoricalDomainCharacter who planned a [[SlaveLiberation slave revolt]] in Virginia, but was stopped and arrested before it could begin in 1800. In RealLife, he was hanged soon after. In ''Heretical Edge'', his execution was interrupted when a Hangman Demon attacked. In the ensuing struggle, it bled on one of Gabriel's wounds and made him into a Heretic. Because he got the upgrade directly from a Hangman rather than from the Heretical Edge, he is naturally more powerful than Heretics from Crossroads or Eden's Garden. [[spoiler:He is part of the mysterious group that supported Joselyn Atherby's revolution against both organizations, and is the current leader of the remnants of the Atherby Clan. Flick's maternal grandfather Joshua Atherby was a close friend of his.]]

----

* AllYourPowersCombined: Natural Reaper Heretic. It comes with the territory. Known capabilities include teleportation, disintegration, some form of combat precognition or impossibly fast reflexes, and super speed.
* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: Hearing Crossroads' beliefs about Strangers immediately reminded him of the ways slavery was justified.
* TheDreaded: [[spoiler: Fastheth, a legendary alter mercenary with thousands of years of experience and any number of magical and cybernetic enhancements, is terrified of Prosser.]]
* FolkHero: He quickly became a legendary figure among Heretics. A lot of Eden's Garden Heretics, especially among the Vigilant Sons tribe, believe that recruiting him is the only way to win an "inevitable" war with Crossroads. Many go so far as to swear by his name.
** Even Sophronia Leven, a member of the Crossroads Committee nearly eight centuries older than him, will invoke his name.
* TheGhost: So far all his actions in the present day have been offscreen, and he has only physically appeared briefly in a flashback. [[spoiler: This comes to an end in chapter 19-03, when he arrives at Flick's house in the wake of Scott's "death."]]
* GiveHerANormalLife: [[spoiler: Gabriel found Joselyn while she was pregnant with Felicity. He could have restored her memories then and there, but instead left her to enjoy a happy life with her new family before dragging her back into the thick of things.]]
* HistoricalDomainCharacter
* HonoraryUncle: [[spoiler: To Joshua's descendants, although he's only really had the chance to know Joselyn.]]
* IAmNotLeftHanded: Prosser has an immense array of powers, most of which he never needs to use. As a result, any attempt to plan around his known powers is very likely to end with Prosser pulling out a countermeasure no one knew he had.
* IWorkAlone: Refused to join either Crossroads or Eden's Garden when he became a Heretic, instead choosing to be on his own. [[spoiler: Subverted when it turns out he joined up with the Atherby Clan soon after. Prosser doesn't have any problem working with people, just with slavers or genocidal maniacs.]]
* MaliciousMisnaming: He never calls Eden's Garden by its actual name, instead referring to it as "the offshoot" or "that other place."
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: [[spoiler: Had every intention of eventually restoring Joselyn's memories, but his decision to wait allowed Fossor to abduct her in 2007.]] He ''really'' regrets this.
* MysteriousNote: [[spoiler: Drops off an envelope containing footage of Joselyn from 1963 at Lincoln Chambers' desk.]]
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: [[spoiler: Someone he trusted with Joselyn's location betrayed him and gave the information to Fossor.]]
* OneSteveLimit: Averted. Prosser and Ruthers share the same first name, Gabriel.
* PersonOfMassDestruction: Compared to a nuclear missile by Avalon. From what we've seen of other high-level combatants, it's not remotely inaccurate.
* ShroudedInMyth: He's taken on an almost mythic significance to Crossroads and Eden's Garden Heretics.
* ShovelStrike: Some heretics use fancy, flashy, ornate weapons. Prosser uses a shovel. One that started as a completely normal shovel to boot - it's the he hit the hangman that interrupted his execution with.
* SuperPrototype: Became a Heretic from the blood of a Hangman Demon, the same source that was used to build the Heretical Edge. But because it happened to him naturally, he is considerably more powerful than Edge-made Heretics.
* UndyingLoyalty: [[spoiler: To his friend Joshua Atherby. This is part of the reason his daughter Joselyn was able to get help from him and his group so easily and why he is ''not happy'' about everything that's happened to her and her children.]]
* WalkingTheEarth: Most Heretics are pretty sure this is what he's been doing. [[spoiler: They're wrong.]]
* WillfullyWeak: Gabriel Prosser uses exactly as much power as he needs to something. This very frequently means using no powers whatsoever for mundane tasks, and it means not showing off in combat.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Scott Utell]]
A Pooka member of the Clan who was sent by Gabriel Prosser to watch over Joselyn and her family after he found when she was banished. He remained in Wyoming to keep an eye on Flick and Lincoln after Joselyn was abducted by Fossor.

----

* BoomHeadshot: Fossor has Ammon control Scott to shoot himself in the head in front of Flick.
* TheGadfly: A low-key example. He liked to mess with Flick by making up imaginary words when playing scrabble in her childhood. He also went through an entire conversation dancing around the subject of Crossroads and her new status as a Heretic while letting her think he's a Bystander.
* TheMole: He was inserted into life at Laramie Falls to watch over Joselyn's new family.
* ResurrectiveImmortality: Flick learns he's a Pooka when she sees his new body after his death.
* TheReveal: He was planning to come clean to Flick about who and what he is on Christmas Eve. Unfortunately, Fossor and Ammon took the matter out of his hands.
* VoluntaryShapeshifting: One of his forms is a racoon. He actually directed Joselyn to the stuffed racoon that would become Flick's childhood toy Taddy when she learned she was pregnant.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Busy]]

A Kitsune that serves as a mechanic and inventor of the. His name is actually Biseon.

----

* GadgeteerGenius: Very good with tech, he's even built himself new fingers after trapped Heretic technology made him lose a few.
* MotorMouth: He's hard to stop once he gets started.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Oscar]]

An Ogre that's been nicknamed after [[Series/SesameStreet The Grouch]].

----

* TheUnpronounceable: His real name, apparently. It's why he let all the kids nickname him Oscar.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Calice]]

A Relukun.

----

* PlantPerson: As a Relukun, she's made of wood.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Fancy]]

A Kobold that was saved by Joselyn decades ago. He likes to dress up in fancy clothing, hence the nickname.

----
