The digital world only manages to put deeper strain on this fragile setup, causing a great deal of friction between her and her parents, who, unaware of her secret life, only see their daughter acting irresponsibly.

Although the Digidestined fear her snooping ways will eventually lead her to the truth of their adventures and thus put her in danger, they may be surprised to learn their concern should be for those who end up on her bad side.
