The page lists the characters appearing in ''Videogame/DIDNapper''. Be warned against spoilers.

''Note'': Due to their similarities, the tropes true for Version 1.7 [[note]]The part of the development that saw a lot of modifications.[[/note]] are also true for Version 1.8 [[note]]The definitive version[[/note]]. As the older versions of the game are different from the newer, and unless it's stated otherwise, all the tropes mentioned on this page are those of the definitive version.

[[caption-width-right:237:From Princess to [[AntiVillain unwilling Kidnapper]].]]

Suki is the main protagonist of the game, originally the princess and heir of an unnamed kingdom until her adopted-cousin and best friend Cherisa betrayed her and sent her as a prisoner to a kidnapping guild. After an escape attempt, she is given the option to join the guild as their first female member or stay as a prisoner for the foreseable future. She chooses the former and becomes a rookie kidnapper under the mentorship of a highly-experienced (but snarky) kidnapper named Leroy.
----
* AdaptationPersonalityChange: Her personality changes a lot depending on which version of the game you're playing. In version 1.5, she's a straight VillainProtagonist (with a FreudianExcuse) who shows a clear LackOfEmpathy. She may even kidnap children. Then, version 1.6 tones this down a little, by allowing the player to have her act [[PetTheDog a little nicer]]. However, she's still capturing women so they can be sold to slavery. Finally, versions 1.7 and 1.8 turn her into a reluctant AntiVillain who has been ForcedIntoEvil. The girls she captures are this time kidnapped for a ransom.
* AmbiguouslyBi: She does like the guys, but her actions with the girls in the Private Cell make it clear she likes being with girls as well.
* AllThereInTheManual: According to the FAQ, her family name and by extension, the royal family name is ''Oromalis''.
* AntiHero: She arguably becomes one at the end of the story, when she tries to stop [[spoiler:Elda's and Krystina's]] plans. She still has ties with the Kidnapping Guild but now instead of kidnapping people she's fighting against an evil sorceress planning to kill an entire village by draining their life force [[spoiler:to help the [[ArtifactOfDoom Maunak Eye]] rule the Kingdom]] and a corrupt aristocrat [[spoiler:who wants to wage war against the peaceful neighboring Empire]].
* AntiVillain: She starts as a [[SlidingScaleOfAntiVillains Type 2 and Type 4]], but only in versions 1.7 and 1.8. She has been betrayed by her best friend, lost her status as everyone thinks she's dead, and is now forced to kidnap women for ransom to earn her freedom from the Guildmaster, but she dislikes doing it. She eventually becomes a AntiHero at the end of the story.
* ApologeticAttacker: Along with her nicer personality in versions 1.7 and 1.8. She is sometimes apologetic when she has to fight her enemies, especially when they aren't bad guys (like some of the mage students in Mission 3, who are unaware of Master Hyranda's plan, and whom she has to [[BoundAndGagged neutralize]] in order to climb the tower).
* BadLiar: She couldn't tell a lie even if her life depended on it. Even total strangers for her like Esther or [[spoiler:Risette]] are able to spot when she lies.
* BecomingTheMask: If the Private Cell dialogues she has are any indicator, her behavior changes ''rapidly'' while on the giving end of some bondage.
* ButNowIMustGo: After defeating [[spoiler:Krystina]], she decides in the epilogue to [[spoiler:let Cherisa be the queen and to continue to pretend that she is dead, as the sudden return of "princess Suki" would create too much political troubles. She also believes that, even if she was forced to do it, she still did bad things during her time in the guild and wishes to atone for it.]] She then goes along with her friends to have adventures, but promises [[spoiler:Cherisa]] that she will eventually come back.
* FallenPrincess: The former heir to the throne, betrayed by her cousin and now forced to be a kidnapper.
* FateWorseThanDeath: Many a NonStandardGameOver ends with Suki being captured and sold into slavery, but special mention has to go to her fate (and everyone elses) if the final battle is loss. [[spoiler: Carol and Athena are kept as servants, Evelyn is forced to be Rolina's student and Cherisa is merely a figurehead...with Suki as her personal maid, kept bound and gagged at all times. Cherisa is clearly miserable at her inability to untie her or give her any relief, and the others are forced to endure unless they want Suki tortured yet further.]]
* ForcedIntoEvil: More clear in versions 1.7 and 1.8, but true in all versions. She had the choice between working for the kidnapping guild or going back to her cell.
* FreudianExcuse: She was betrayed by her cousin / best friend and sold to a kidnapping guild. (In versions 1.7 and 1.8, to be kept a prisoner. In older versions, to be sold to slavery.)
* GameplayAndStorySegregation: In the main story, Suki is a MinionWithAnFInEvil, often uncomfortable with what she has to do for her guild, and who has a lot of trouble to impose herself. However, the player can indulge in acts of VideogameCrueltyPotential, all of these actions being in total contradiction with her canon personality.[[note]]For instance, in Mission 6, the player can agree to do a sidequest that involves kidnapping some girls at the beach. [[UngratefulBastard The same girls who helped Suki a little while ago.]] Since the guy pays Suki an advance on the promised reward, you actually have enough money to pay the carriage guy without having to kidnap the girls, so deciding to do it is entirely optional.[[/note]] Also, during the optional minigames of the "Private Cell", she's far more confident and dominant than she normally is. The last one may count as HiddenDepths, but some of her comments remain very out-of-character when she's harsh, derisive or sometimes even slightly cruel.
* GoodIsDumb: Though not always, and it's more [[DownplayedTrope Good Is Too Naive]]. However, at times, her niceness and unwillingness to fight make things worst for her. For instance, her refusal to fight the Amazons during their first encounter with them lead to her and her friends' capture. During the epilogue, her treatment of her more morally ambiguous Private Captives arguably have negative results as well. [[spoiler:If Kalama and/or Alyssa were captured, Suki has them freed along with the other captives. The warmongering Kalama is then seen plotting to fight Cilia to gain back her throne. Alyssa, a known pirate and slaver, frees Dariana from her cell and the two presumably are back for more piracy]].
* GroinAttack: The very first offensive move she learns is Low Blow. Leroy describes it as "attacking a guy's secret weak spot."
* GuileHeroine: At the end of the game, she reveals that she picked up a few tricks from her guild. [[spoiler:After defeating Krystina, she's able to successfully threaten her ''own guild'' with reporting their location to Cherisa's army, giving her enough leeway to not only free all of the Private Cell captives she's acquired in her journey, but get them to avoid following her after she leaves.]]
* HelloInsertNameHere: Justified, since she is on the run and must hide her true identity. [[spoiler:She eventually reveals her identity to Carol, Athena and Evelyn.]]
* HiddenDepths: During Missions, she's often very quiet and compliant, displaying a mixture of wariness and exasperation at what she's doing. When in charge of a [[UsefulNotes/{{BDSM}} session]], she appears a ''lot'' more confident, and becomes a ''really'' smooth operator.
* MagneticHero: She has a way of connecting with people. Carol, Evelyn and Athena all look up to her or like her in some capacity, and even quite a few of the ''morally dubious'' characters, such as [[ChronicBackstabbingDisorder Alyssa]], [[ALighterShadeOfBlack Kyria]], and [[JerkWithAHeartofGold Leroy]], all take a liking to her pretty quickly! [[spoiler:This is [[ExploitedTrope exploited]] heavily by the bad guys in the final game-over scene should you lose against Krystina. Athena is mentioned to have put three of her captors in the infirmary in the group's first few days as slaves, and the party's interaction with the guards consists largely of mockery, orders, and threats to Suki's well-being if they disobey or try to run.]]
* MinionWithAnFInEvil: In versions 1.7 and 1.8, especially in her first mission. She is captured while trying [[spoiler:to post the ransom letter]]. This is a big contrast with her portrayal in older versions, where she was more of an HypercompetentSidekick for her guild. This change was done to make the story more realistic.[[note]]After all, a pampered princess can't become a seasoned warrior in the span of a few days.[[/note]]
* MoralityPet:
** For Athena. By herself, Athena is a BloodKnight with a short temper who uses violence to solve most of her problems and is disdainful towards those she regards as weaker than her. However, she quickly took a liking to Suki and decided to help her at the end of their first mission together. An FAQ released in February 2017 reveals that Athena is not above killing her enemies, but doesn't do it because Suki wouldn't want it.
** To some extent, for Leroy as well. While he snarks at her expense and he loves to tease her ForTheLulz, he also takes his job as her mentor seriously. The guy may be a kidnapper who captures girls for ransom, but he also saves Suki when she's captured during her first mission. Even more, after Suki's failure during [[spoiler:Mission 6]], he defends her in front of the guildmaster, arguing that he gave her a mission too difficult for her. By the time of the mission in Florian Town, he seems to have taken a liking to Suki.
* NiceGirl: In version 1.8. At least as far as a ForcedIntoEvil [[AntiVillain Anti]] VillainProtagonist can be. She does hate the fact that she's forced to harm other people.
* NoSocialSkills: She hesitates on her words a lot, and is shown to admire Leroy's ability to smooth-talk the guards of Florian into a bribe. When in the Private Cell, she will sometimes dwell on how well she did talking to her captive, even having a moment of internal {{Squee}} when she successfully smooth-talks Cilia into accepting her life.
* NotSoAboveItAll: Admits in the official FAQ that she does self-bondage and enjoys some aspects of bondage.
* AnOfferYouCantRefuse: Is on the receiving end of one from the Guildmaster: She can either join the guild and use their resources so long as she helps in the kidnapping, or she can go back to her cell. But this time she'll be kept bound and gagged much more strictly and under elite guard at all times. There would be no escaping again, and he won't consider LoopholeAbuse to free her of his own accord either. No brownie points for guessing which option Suki goes for.
* OlderThanTheyLook: According to the official FAQ, she's eighteen years old.
* OnlySaneWoman: When she deals with [[CovertPervert Carol]].
* RedOniBlueOni: Has this dynamic with Carol. She's the Blue to her friend's Red: the quiet reserved OnlySaneWoman while Carol is the hyperactive somewhat ditzy CovertPervert.
* ShrinkingViolet: In version 1.8, she has troubles to impose herself, especially when she has to deal with Leroy or real criminals like the grave-robbers.
* SupportPartyMember: Almost all the skills she can learn as of v.1.8 are either [[SituationalSword Situational Swords]] [[note]]In the case of Low Blow and Charm[[/note]] or special moves involving subduing or securing the bindings of subdued girls. It's for the most part why Mission 6 is so difficult.
* TokenGoodTeammate: In version 1.8, she's this for her kidnapping guild.
* TomboyPrincess / UsedToBeATomboy: [[spoiler:In Mission 10, Cherisa quips that Suki used to take part in play-fights when they were kids.]]
** IHatePastMe: PlayedForLaughs. [[spoiler:Suki's ''intense'' blush implies she's incredibly embarrassed about it.]]
* TookALevelInBadass: In versions 1.7 and 1.8, she becomes progressively stronger and more confident. Mission 6 in general is meant to push her into this, as she's completely by herself throughout the situation and has nobody to help her. Numbers are a crucial part of gameplay mechanics, and alongside her boost in confidence, you are able to learn more skills that make her more viable in a fight against female enemies.
* VillainProtagonist: PlayedStraight in the older versions (especially 1.5), where she is more or less a functional sociopath who shows a clear LackOfEmpathy towards her victims. {{Downplayed}} in versions 1.7 and 1.8, where it's more explicit that she's reluctant and forced to do it (as well as having the victims be ransomed off instead of sold into slavery). However, even in this version, she's still trying to kidnap civilian girls for ransom. {{Averted}} with the [[ArtifactOfDoom Maunak Eye]] in Chapter 3 or when she's capturing other criminals like the pirates of Mission 6. Completely dropped during the final missions, [[spoiler:in which she tries to stop Elda's and Lady Krystina's {{Evil Plan}}s]].
* WhenSheSmiles: Tickle her enough when she's in the Private Cell and don't tell us she doesn't look ''adorable''!
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Carol]]

[[quoteright:258:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/carol.PNG]]
[[caption-width-right:258:A thief skilled with knifes and [[CovertPervert knots]].]]

Carol is the closest thing the game has for a deuteragonist, she's an orphan thief Suki meets during her mission to Velis Manor (Mission 2) and decide to team up by Carol's suggestion due to increased security. After their mission is completed, she decides to join the guild.
----
* AdaptationInducedPlotHole: A minor case, but Version 1.8 doesn't give a clear explanation about the reason why she chose to join the guild after the second mission. In older versions, it was explicitly [[IOweYouMyLife because Suki saved her after she was captured]] and there were several dialogues between Suki and the Guildmaster to discuss her integration. Most of those dialogues were removed in Version 1.8, making the transition rather abrupt. It's implied that her love for bondage played a part in her decision though. This could be because Leroy is the one that explained the situation to the Guildmaster offscreen in the new version, although it still leaves ''her'' reasons to join the guild rather blurry.
* AdaptationalModesty: In v1.6, she wore a green bikini that showed cleavage instead of the tube top she wears in the final versions.
* AllGaysArePromiscuous: Her first solution to any problem involving a girl is to tie them up, and her love for bondage is well-known whether it's her or another girl. She also has some feelings for Suki.
* AntiVillain: [[SlidingScaleOfAntiVillains Type 4.]] She's not malicious, she just likes to tie up people. Since she follows Suki, she eventually becomes a AntiHero when the latter stops kidnapping people to try to stop the BigBadEnsemble's {{Evil Plan}}s.
* ArtEvolution: She started with an engine-included battler design in v1.5 to an original (but still inspired on the included battler) design in v1.6 to a fully original and detailed one by v.1.7 and v.1.8.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Her personality may be non-threatening, but she knows how to fight and how to use poison. She's not above making threats either if she has no choice, like saying to Aurora that she will hang her up outside-down from a tree if she doesn't give her the password to go to the third floor of Aurealis Academy. Also counts as BewareTheSillyOnes.
* BigDamnHeroes: [[spoiler:Saves Seles and her party in the sequel, would have done it sooner if Seles didn't stop to talk.]]
* CaptainOblivious: When Suki reveals her true identity to the party, Carol's shock is aimed at the fact that her name is so cute. She then proceeds to ask why she'd hide it.
* CatSmile: She'll often sport one of these in her portrait art in ''2''.
* ChivalrousPervert: Sure, she is trying to [[spoiler:save Seles and friends, but why can't she have some fun while they're tied up first and tease Seles a little?]]
* DamselInDistress: Carol is introduced as this in both version 1.5, and 1.6. In versions 1.7 and 1.8, she's captured midway during Mission 2 and has to be rescued.
* TheDitz: She's not dumb per say, but she's not the smartest either. It's mostly because her CovertPervert tendencies tend to override her common sense.
* {{Flanderization}}: Before v1.7., her love for bondage was either implied or downplayed. By the time of v1.8, her love for bondage has become her defining personality trait.
* FragileSpeedster: The quickest party member, but she has low health and defense.
* GameplayAndStoryIntegration: She's TooKinkyToTorture and loves to be tied up. While the other characters struggle when bound and gagged, she on the other hand recovers some health.
* GenkiGirl: Always cheerful and hyperactive.
* TheLancer: For Suki. She's also her {{Foil}}.
* LipstickLesbian: Of the StraightGay variety.
* MinionWithAnFInEvil: Because of her personality, not because she's incompetent.
* TheMole: [[spoiler:In the sequel, she's pretending to be apart of Zhara's people to sabatoge her.]]
* OlderThanTheyLook: According to the official FAQ, she's nineteen years old, one year older than Suki, yet she looks and acts like a teenager.
* RedOniBlueOni: Has this dynamic with Suki. She's the Red to her friend's Blue: the hyperactive somewhat ditzy CovertPervert while Suki is the quiet reserved OnlySaneWoman.
* StreetUrchin: She ran away from her hometown of Madina when her foster father lost the house on a bet and started stealing to survive in Velis Town.
* TokenGoodTeammate: Even more in older versions, where Suki is far less nice.
* TooKinkyToTorture:
** She loves bondage in a game where the main way to defeat a (female) opponent is to tie her up. [[GameplayAndStoryIntegration She even recovers health while tied up.]]
** Interrogating her in the sequel is an exercise in frustration for Seles because Carol absolutely enjoys ''everything'' she could do to her.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Other Party Members (Spoilers)]]
!!Evelyn

[[quoteright:258:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/evelynne.PNG]]
[[caption-width-right:258:"Is [[BoundAndGagged this]]... the only way we could have stopped them?"]]

Evelyn is a transfer student currently studying in the females-only Aurealis Academy who teams up with Suki and Carol during the hostile takeover led by Master Hyranda. [[spoiler:She meets Suki again in Florian Town, while trying to warn the Queen about Elda's betrayal. Circumstances eventually force her to join Suki's team a second time.]]
----
* AmbiguouslyBrown: She's one of the few non-white characters in the game but her race (or the equivalent of) is hard to discern.
* AmbiguouslyGay: She's implied to have a crush on Suki, most notably in the Private Cell when Suki talks to her.
* BigDamnHeroes: [[spoiler:Saves Seles and friends with Carol by framing Zhara as a chroma user with her magic.]]
* BlackMagicianGirl: A student of [[MageTower Aurealis Academy]]. She mostly uses offensive spells.
* BlackmailIsSuchAnUglyWord: When interrogted in the sequel, she utterly refuses to break until Carol provides just enough information in the form of "[[NoodleIncident the self-bondage incident]]" to blackmail her with. It's even added to the menu as an option.
* TheBusCameBack: [[spoiler:PutOnABus after the third mission, she comes back when Suki's team arrives in Florian Town.]]
* GlassCannon: She's the partymember with the lowest health, defense and weakest physical attacks but she compensates with a variety of spells both offensive and defensive.
* GuestStarPartyMember: Only present for Mission 3. [[spoiler:Becomes a permanent party member when she comes back in Mission 8.]]
* InstantExpert: Reveals in the FAQ that she was able to learn how to tie up people just by watching Maka tying her up.
* MagicSkirt: {{Inverted}}. Her skirt actually becomes shorter in some situations. According to the FAQ, she casted a spell on her clothes to have the length of her robes vary depending on the situations, in order for them to be the most comfortable at all times. Unfortunately, this has the side effect of making her skirt very short when she's tied up and struggling... [[PantyShot too short]]...
* MoralityPet: For [[BloodKnight Athena]], who quickly took a liking to her. During the FAQ of February 2017, Evelyn and Suki are the only persons whom Athena always speaks well of.
* NiceGirl: A classic example. She's often confused and annoyed by Suki's and Carol's [[BoundAndGagged way of solving their problems with other people]] and doesn't like the fact that she's working with criminals. She's only doing it because the kingdom's future may be at stake.
* NotSoAboveItAll: Admits in the official FAQ that she does like some aspects of bondage.
* OnlySaneWoman: Even more than Suki. She's several times confused by [[CovertPervert Carol]]'s actions and eagerness to tie up girls as a way to solve her problems.
* ShrinkingViolet: She's rather unsure of herself and seems to have a lot of trouble to impose herself with the other students.
* ThrowTheDogABone: She has to live far away from her family and most of the other students of the Academy don't treat her very well. (And it becomes even worse after the events of the third mission.) However, she ends up [[spoiler:gaining three friends with Suki, Carol and Athena over the course of the game]].
* TokenGoodTeammate: Is not a criminal and only joins Suki's team because the circumstances forced her to do it.

!!Athena

[[quoteright:311:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/athena.PNG]]
[[caption-width-right:311:No amount of ropes can hold her [[HairTriggerTemper temper.]]]]

Athena is a skilled warrior and mercenary under the command of Captain Marcia until she was betrayed and locked up by her orders. She is rescued and tasked to help Suki [[spoiler:and together, they defeat Marcia. After Rielle is put in command, Athena decides to join the guild.]]
----
* AdaptationalModesty: In v.1.6, she wore a leather leotard with some shoulder and leg protection. In v.1.7 onward, she has breast armor with a blue skirt and shin guards. However, because she now uses a skirt, her [[PantyShot dotted underwear is seen]] during the Escape Minigame.
* AdaptationPersonalityChange: In version 1.6, she was a professional and somewhat aloof mercenary who was OnlyInItForTheMoney. In version 1.7, she's a BloodKnight and a ProudWarriorRaceGirl who takes a liking to Suki during their mission together and decides to help her.
* BadassInDistress: She's introduced as this during Mission 6 as Suki has to rescue her from a Manor.
* BloodKnight: Very eager to fight. Her solution to every problem is to beat it into submission. Suki has to canalize her several times.
* DeadpanSnarker: Surprisingly, she has some moments. For a BloodKnight, she's not DumbMuscle when it comes to deliver snarky one liners to Marcia, Rielle or Leroy. One of her gems:
-->'''Athena:''' ''(to Marcia)'' "You caught on too late, as usual. You were never much of a tactician, Marcia."
* EveryoneHasStandards: Some of her dialogues imply that she's disgusted by Rielle's corruption and manipulative traitorous nature. That and the fact that Rielle was the one that captured her in the first place.
* HairTriggerTemper: She's easily angered, although it may just be that she can't stand Leroy.
* HiredGuns: She's a mercenary.
* MightyGlacier: She's the slowest party member but her offense and defense more than make up for it.
* MistreatmentInducedBetrayal: It turns out being betrayed by Marcia pissed her off a little. Who knew?
* MoralityPet: She has two: Suki and Evelyn. See their entries for more details.
* OnlyInItForTheMoney: In Version 1.6, after her first mission with Suki, where her motivation was {{Revenge}}, she will only join the party if she's paid. Not anymore in Version 1.7, [[spoiler:as she officially joins the guild for the time being and becomes friends with Suki and Carol.]]
* ProudWarriorRaceGirl: Has shades of it, as she's disdainful towards those she regards as weaker than her.
* SurroundedByIdiots: How she feels about the male members of Suki's guild. Given their general incompetence, it's hard to blame her. [[CovertPervert Carol]]'s antics often annoy her too.
* TalkToTheFist: A firm believer of this trope. She interrupts [[spoiler:Elda]]'s ThisCannotBe rant by smacking her silly.
* ThouShaltNotKill: Reveals in the FAQ that she's not above killing her enemies under normal circumstances, but doesn't do it in the game because [[MoralityPet Suki]] wouldn't want it.
* ViolenceReallyIsTheAnswer: She's a firm believer of this, as her first answer to most problems is to punch the problematic person. Suki stops her most of the time. However, given the fact that negotiations generally fail to solve the problems in the Kingdom, Athena may have a point. In Mission 9, fed up with [[spoiler:Elda]]'s ThisCannotBe rant, she smacks her silly. [[spoiler:And, without knowing it, she manages to sever the link between her and the Maunak Eye, destroying the ArtifactOfDoom for good.]]

!!Alyssa

[[quoteright:296:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/alyssa.PNG]]
[[caption-width-right:296:"No hard feelings, but [[spoiler:Dariana]] gets what [[spoiler:Dariana]] wants. If I have to beat you up for her, I will."]]

Alyssa is a skilled martial artist and member of the Vermilio Trading Company on the western coast of the kingdom, she joins Suki in their attempt to disrupt Dariana's gang of pirates' activities [[spoiler:[[BlatantLies or so she claims]]]].
----
* AdaptationalHeroism: {{Downplayed}} in Version 1.7. While still [[spoiler:working for the pirates]], she seems uncomfortable when [[spoiler:her captain decides to have Suki WalkThePlank, sentencing her to either drown or die of starvation on a life boat]]. She even says to Suki that she's sorry for that, [[spoiler:but still sides with her captain.]] In older Versions, she was perfectly okay with that idea.
* AmbiguouslyGay: Heavily implied to be in a relationship with [[spoiler:Dariana, her captain]]. [[spoiler:She's also one of the captives that likes it when Suki kisses her, and after they warm up to each other, Alyssa ''asks'' Suki to kiss her for "being good" when Suki removes her gag for conversation.]]
* TheBusCameBack: [[spoiler:She comes back in Mission 9.]]
** [[spoiler:She makes an appearance in ''VideoGame/Didnapper2'' as an ArcVillain alongside Dariana.]]
* CanonCharacterAllAlong: [[spoiler:Her new design, name and personality gives the impression that she is a new character when in reality she's a reimagined Kurui.]]
* ChronicBackstabbingDisorder: [[spoiler:Towards Suki. In Mission 6, she reveals that she was on the pirates' side the whole time and knocks her out during the battle to capture her. In Mission 9, she helps Carol and Athena in their fight against the brainwashed villagers, not knowing that they are Suki's friends. At the end of the mission however, depending on what happened during Mission 6, when Suki and her are alone, she tries to capture her either to avenge Dariana or to bring Suki to her, in the hopes of forcing her to join their crew (probably after invoking StockholmSyndrome).]]
* ClingyJealousGirl: [[spoiler:Very much in the sequel, to the point it gives Seles and friends an opening to corner her and Dariana.]]
* CovertPervert: [[spoiler:As a Private Cell Captive, its revealed Alyssa rivals ''Carol'' in terms of being a BDSM submissive, actively enjoying being told she looks good tied up, treats being ungagged as a reward for behaving, and is one of the very few girls who enjoys being slapped.]] Probable FridgeBrilliance, as it's implied that [[spoiler:she joined the pirates after succumbing to StockholmSyndrome]].
* DualBoss: She's fought alongside [[spoiler:Dariana]] during the rematch in the bar.
* EnemyMine: She fights off [[spoiler:the villagers brainwashed by Elda alongside Carol and Athena in mission 9]] after being caught in the crossfire.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: [[spoiler:The fact that she tries to persuade Dariana to keep Suki as a captive rather than sentencing her to possibly die adrift says that she maybe saw some potential on Suki or took a liking to her.]]
* FreudianExcuse: Given to her in Version 1.7. She used to be a perfectly loyal agent of the Trading Company, [[spoiler:until her boss refused to pay her ransom when she was captured by the pirates. She then joined them and became their [[TheMole mole]] out of spite and, probably, StockholmSyndrome.]]
* GuestStarPartyMember: She joins the party only for a few fights in mission 6 [[spoiler:and returns again during a short segment of mission 9]].
* KarmaHoudini: [[spoiler:She escapes arrest in all endings of mission 6 and if she wins her battle against Suki at the end of mission 9.]] If she's captured [[spoiler:at the end of mission 9, she will still be released among Suki's other captives at the end of the game.]] In the epilogue, [[spoiler:she's seen busting Dariana out of jail.]]
* KungFuKid: She's notable for using martial arts rather than swords or daggers.
* MistakenForCheating: [[spoiler:When Dariana is interrogating Liliana, Alyssa thinks it's something else.]]
* MistreatmentInducedBetrayal: [[spoiler:She didn't take kindly the fact that her boss refused to pay a ransom for her when she was captured by the pirates.]]
* MoralMyopia: [[spoiler:She gleefully sells women to slavery, including Suki in one of the bad endings, yet she swears revenge on Suki when she arrests Dariana (a slaver who's not above committing murders).]]
* TheMole: [[spoiler:In both her 1.6 and 1.8 incarnations.]]
* AnOfferYouCantRefuse: By the time of Mission 9, [[spoiler:if Dariana wasn't arrested]], she has received the task to [[spoiler:bring Suki to her to make her join their crew.]] She makes it clear that [[spoiler:Suki]] has the choice between joining them willingly or being brought back to them tied up and remaining their captive until StockholmSyndrome kicks in.
* PostClimaxConfrontation: Not for the whole game, but for [[spoiler:mission 9]]. After [[spoiler:Elda has been arrested, she tries to capture Suki when the two of them are alone and fights her in a DuelBoss.]]
* TheStinger: [[spoiler:She escapes arrest at the end of mission 6 and promises that she and Suki will meet again.]]
* StockholmSyndrome: Heavily implied. [[spoiler:She does mention to Suki that she started to appreciate the pirates more after a few weeks of captivity.]]

Kirya is a grave robber and a high ranking member of the Sandstorm Guild, a guild from the desert region. She becomes a party member during the prison break in Mission 4.
----
* BolivianArmyEnding: [[spoiler:Just like the other members of her guild, she's last seen in the epilogue while about to fight the guards that are attacking the guild's hideout. We don't know what happen afterwards.]]
* DarkActionGirl: She is the most cruel and greedy partymember by far and her looks show.
* DefiantToTheEnd: When the town's guards [[spoiler:attack the Sandstorm Guild's headquarters in the epilogue, after Suki and Alexie told them where it was, she says that she would rather die than go back in prison and gets ready to fight them.]]
* EvenEvilHasStandards: [[spoiler:She will plead her Guildmaster to spare Suki if she decides to intervene when the guildmaster threatens to kill the archeologists just to make Alexie talk, since Suki rescued her from prison.]]
* GuestStarPartyMember: She joins the party only for a short segment of Mission 4.
* ALighterShadeOfBlack: Even by this game's standards, she's not a good person. Indeed, she tortured the head Archaelogist severely and enslaved half of her captives and split friends. However, she's still capable to show gratitude to her allies (as proven by her EvenEvilHasStandards entry) and she doesn't act like a {{Jerkass}} towards Suki, contrary to most of the other members of the Sandstorm guild. At the end of the Mission, she genuinely thanks Suki for her work. Compare and contrast with the other members of her guild who were ready to kill Suki, their ally, for daring telling them not to hurt someone.
* SurroundedByIdiots: How she feels when she has to work with [[TheBrute Gheb]].
* UncertainDoom: We don't see the aftermath of [[spoiler:the fight between her guild and the guards in the epilogue, so we don't know if she was killed, captured or escaped.]]

[[caption-width-right:296:"Gagging a girl is its own reward."]]

One of the best members of the Kidnapping Guild and the only one shown to be competent on-screen. He was sent to kidnap Suki, but later becomes her mentor when she's allowed to join the guild.
----
* AdaptationPersonalityChange: In v1.6. Leroy was a hot-tempered kidnapper that didn't tolerated Suki's inclusion into the guild until he softened up by the later missions. From v1.7 onwards, he's a highly experienced kidnapper with a laidback personality and snarky attitude towards Suki who likes to both tease and scare her alike.
* BigDamnHeroes: [[spoiler:He comes to Suki's help during the climax of Mission 10, fighting off some soldiers to allow Suki to reach Krystina's tower. Since those guys are nasty DemonicSpiders, his help was welcomed!]]
* DeadpanSnarker: Version 1.7 turned him into one. He often snarks at Suki's expense.
* TheFriendNobodyLikes: Among Suki's team, although it's a little downplayed. Suki is grateful that he helped her as a mentor, but is also a little wary of him. Carol and [[spoiler:Evelyn]] find him creepy. And Athena can't stand him, mostly because he's a {{Troll}} who has them do most of the work. When asked if she has feelings for him in the FAQ of February 2017, Athena asks back if wanting to throw him off a bridge counts.
* GuestStarPartyMember: Briefly fights alongside Suki during the final fight of the first mission. Story-wise, he accompanies Suki during her first three missions and later during Mission 8, but never fights (with the exception of the aforementioned battle with Guard Esther).
* HypercompetentSidekick: The only member of the Kidnapping Guild shown to be competent on-screen outside of Suki and her team. Doesn't stop him from doing as little as possible when he has Suki to do the chores for him...
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: He is a kidnapper, can be quite rude and likes to scare and to embarrass Suki ForTheLulz. However, he also takes his role as her teacher seriously. And during the first mission, although he said to her that he wouldn't help her if she would get captured, he still decides to save her (after a little hesitation). He also speaks for Suki after [[spoiler:she failed her task to protect the ship from the pirates during Mission 6]], arguing to the Guildmaster that he gave her a mission that was out of her league to begin with. By the time Suki reaches Florian Town, he seems to have grown to appreciate her. He still likes to [[{{Troll}} troll]] her and Athena a little though.
* TheMentor: During the tutorial, he shows Suki the ropes.
* NothingPersonal: Out of all the guild members who react to Suki's [[spoiler:gambit against them,]] he's seemingly the least bothered by it.
* PetTheDog: He is an unrepentant kidnapper, but he seems to have taken a liking to Suki. He helps her several times:
** During the first mission, even though he said he wouldn't help her if she's captured, he still saves Suki when she's actually captured.
** When Suki [[spoiler:fails and ruins the Guildmaster's deal with the smugglers]], he defends her, arguing that the Guildmaster shouldn't have given a task that difficult to a rookie.
** He helps Suki during [[spoiler:the climax at the end of Mission 10, fighting off several soldiers to allow her to reach Krystina's tower]].
* PunchClockVillain: Leroy does love his work, but he's also not going to go the extra mile when things get hairy for said job. See below.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: [[spoiler:Upon meeting Seles and friends in the sequel while he's transporting some kidnapped knights, he peaces out with a smokebomb and a smile.]]

The Guildmaster of the Kidnapping Guild. Cherisa strikes a deal with him at the beginning of the game and has him kidnap the future queen to remove her from the succession line. However, after seeing that Suki has the potential to be a good recruit, he invokes a LoopholeAbuse and frees her. In exchange of her freedom, she now works for him. During the game, he's Suki's QuestGiver, but [[VillainOfAnotherStory that does not make him a good guy]].
----
* BatmanGambit: [[spoiler: His agenda was to groom Suki into a skilled kidnapper that would eventually become a loyal member of the guild. It didn't work as while Suki became a skilled kidnapper, she didn't enjoy the kidnapping, thus leading to her betraying the guild the moment she had the ability to threaten them.]]
* EvenEvilHasStandards: If Leroy's words are any indication, his guild seems to prefer to [[NonLethalKO knock out]] the guys and has a ThouShaltNotKill mentality.
* EveryoneCallsHimBarkeep: He's only known as "the Guildmaster".
* ALighterShadeOfBlack: He runs a kidnapping guild, but he's still better than Haab Desert's Sandstorm Guild. At least, he doesn't torture the girls he kidnaps and tries [[ThouShaltNotKill to avoid bloodshed]].
* GracefulLoser: While mildly frustrated at [[spoiler:Suki's gambit against him in the epilogue, he takes it in stride and simply moves his guild on to new territory.]]
* KarmaHoudini: The epilogue shows that [[spoiler:he escapes any form of punishment after Krystina's defeat.]]
* LoopholeAbuse: Cherisa paid him to keep Suki captive, but forgot to specify a time limit on Suki's stay. When he realizes that freeing Suki and having her work for him will be more profitable for his guild, he uses this loophole as an excuse to stop holding his side of the bargain.
* AnOfferYouCantRefuse: When he tries to recruit Suki, he gives her a choice... between working for him or going back to her cell, this time with no hope to escape. Unsurprisingly, Suki chooses the first option. During the game, he makes it clear that her cell is still waiting for her if she starts to have second-thoughts about her choice.
* PetTheDog: He gives Suki a chance to work for him in order to win her freedom and rewards her missions with infos on Cherisa's doings.
* QuestGiver: He's the one who gives Suki most of her missions.
* VillainOfAnotherStory: He may be Suki's guildmaster and QuestGiver, but he also runs a kidnapping business and has ties with grave-robbers and the slave market. It becomes clearer in Mission 5, when Cherisa's army is shown trying to put an end to his illegal activities.
* YouHaveFailedMe: Threatens Suki with this trope several times, but hasn't made good on his threat yet. Even after Suki's disastrous failure during [[spoiler:Mission 6]].

!!The Sandstorm Guild
Another criminal guild, who has ties with the Kidnapping Guild. They specialize in grave-robbing and are far more ruthless than the kidnappers, using abduction, torture and even murder to get what they want. For her fourth mission, Suki is tasked to help them deal with a group of archeologists that threaten their latest operation.
----
* BolivianArmyEnding: [[spoiler:Their scene in the epilogue ends right when they are about to fight the guards, after their hideout has been discovered. We don't know what happens afterwards.]]
* TheBrute: Gheb is big and strong, but not very smart.
* DefiantToTheEnd: Their reaction when [[spoiler:the town's guards storm their hideout during the epilogue is to draw their weapons and try to fight them.]]
* {{Jerkass}}: Almost all of them, except Kirya, treat Suki with contempt, even though she's supposed to be their ally. Special mention goes to Gheb and their guildmaster.
* KarmaHoudini: They get off scot-free with everything they did at the end of the mission. [[spoiler:However, [[KarmaHoudiniWarranty karma finally comes back to bite them]] during the epilogue. After Suki frees Alexie, [[TheDogBitesBack the woman reveals the location of their headquarters to the guards]], who then storm their hideout.]]
* KnightOfCerebus: Their level of menace is far higher than the Kidnapping Guild and their villainy is far more apparent. They don't have silly incompetent guards to serve as comic reliefs and they use torture to get what they want. They are not afraid to murder people and, at one point, [[spoiler:they threaten to execute Suki (their own ally) when she expresses second thoughts at the idea of killing Alexie's friends.]]
* [[RealMenWearPink Real Men Have Pink Hair]]: The guildmaster has bright pink spiky hair. It doesn't prevent him from being a dreaded criminal.
* UncertainDoom: [[spoiler:We don't know if they were killed, captured or if they escaped during their battle with the guards in the epilogue.]]
* VillainOfAnotherStory: Even more than Suki's Guildmaster, as they have even fewer redeeming qualities or standards. The game very clearly shows that they are ''not'' good persons as they coldly split the archaelogist party like baubles and sold their half as slaves.

Suki's adoptive cousin and former best friend. Second in the line of succession for the throne, she orders Suki's kidnapping at the beginning of the game and stages her death during a bandit attack to become the new queen. She's now raising an army and making major reforms in the kingdom. [[spoiler:Or so it seems...]] [[WalkingSpoiler Beware of spoilers when you browse her tropes.]]
----
* AdaptationalHeroism: In Version 1.7, as she only asked the kidnapping guild to keep Suki a prisoner and the game hints that she acts like a [[TheHighQueen good queen]]. In older versions, she wanted Suki to be sold to slavery (which didn't happen only because the guildmaster double-crossed her) and there were no indications that she did a good job as ruler of the kingdom. Also, in older versions, her decision of blockading Ghiaccio Village's trade route [[ForTheEvulz wasn't given much justifications]]. In Version 1.7, even though she does it partly in order to raise new taxes, [[spoiler:which is heavily implied later to be her mother's doings]], she also ordered the blockade to cut the illegal trade roads used by the Kidnapping Guild and to destroy the rogue guild and to ruin the shady merchant supporting it. [[spoiler:It's later revealed during the mission in Florian that the plan to take the throne wasn't even hers to begin with. It was her mother's. 263* AmazonBrigade: In older versions, she was said to be raising an army of women. This plot point is dropped from Version 1.7 onwards, as most of the Kingdom Soldiers are male and [[spoiler:she's not the one raising an army anymore]].
* AntiVillain: Is said to be a good queen. [[spoiler:It's later revealed that she had Suki kidnapped and locked up to save her life. 266* BigBad: She betrays Suki at the beginning of the game and steals the throne from her. [[spoiler:Later subverted. To prevent that from happening, Cherisa had Suki kidnapped before and made it look like she died.]]
* DisappearedDad: While her mother plays a part in her plans, her father is never mentioned.
* GoodAllAlong: [[spoiler:She never wanted to harm Suki. In fact, she had her kidnapped and staged her death because Lady Krystina wanted to have Suki killed to put Cherisa on the throne and use her as her puppet queen]].
* TheHighQueen: She's loved by her people and is said to have made more reforms since her coronation than her predecessors during all their reigns. Suki herself admits that she's a better queen than her. [[spoiler:That's the reason why Suki chooses to let her keep the throne and to continue to pretend to be dead in the epilogue. Of note, the Epilogue itself shows Cherisa has made Marcia her General, and let Nataleigh continue to be her head maid. She's even fine with Nataleigh's kinky habits as long as Cherisa herself doesn't have to hear her go on about them.]]
* NightmareFuel: [[spoiler: When Suki and crew find her in Mission 10, she's tied up and ballgagged in a pitch black closet, struggling frantically. Cherisa does NOT like bondage and is ''terrified'' of the dark. Its not specified how long she's been kept bound in the dark, and to top it all off, her own mother is on board with it.]]
* PetTheDog:
** Several ones were given to her in the Version 1.8.
*** She only ordered the guild to lock up Suki, even though she could have her killed just as easily. (Only in version 1.8. In older versions, she ordered them to sell her to slavery, but the guildmaster secretly didn't obey.)
*** She's also said to be a good queen, who does reforms to improve the lives of her subjects.
*** Mission 5 reveals that she's trying to put an end to the activities of several criminal gangs by cutting off their illegal trade routes, including the kidnapping guild and its ally in Ghiaccio Village.
** All those moments actually serve as {{Foreshadowing}} for TheReveal that [[spoiler:she was GoodAllAlong and her mother is the true BigBad]].
* PrimalFear: She hates the dark.
* PuppetQueen: [[spoiler:Her mother allows her to pass some reforms to improve her subjects' lives, but Cherisa remains powerless to stop any of Krystina's plans and is a basically a mere figurehead while her mother is the one that truly holds the power.]]

Nataleigh is Cherisa's personal maid and the one in charge of the personnel in Velis Manor. She reappears in ''VideoGame/Didnapper2'' as a minor antagonist.
----
* AdaptationPersonalityChange: In ''VideoGame/Didnapper2'', she has a more cold demeanor unlike her more expressive and HairTriggerTemper personality of the first game.
* BadBoss: Downplayed. She's not abusive, but she's rather rude and condescending with her guards. Although, given their general incompetence, she may have a point.
* BrainsAndBondage: She enjoys having girls bound and gagged in her quarters, so much in fact that some of the guards felt creeped around her. Also, when brought to the private cell, she's creepily enthusiastic to switch roles with Suki and play the captor, and has no issues informing Suki that when she escapes, she plans on making Suki herself a permanently bound and gagged maid.
* CatGirl: One of her outfits is a kitten play costume.
* FanservicePack: In ''VideoGame/Didnapper2'', she was given a maid outfit that shows her increased cleavage.
* {{Foreshadowing}}: As Suki's captive she states she plans on taking Suki back to the castle with her when she escapes, and keeping Suki as a bondage maid. [[spoiler: This is almost exactly what happens if Suki loses to the final boss: she's kept bound and gagged in a maid outfit at all times and forced to serve Cherisa as her slave.]]
* FlunkyBoss: Fought alongside two guards at the end of the second mission.
* JerkassHasAPoint: She belittles her guards and regards them as incompetent idiots. The same guards who sometimes trip during battle...
* {{Meido}}: From the outfit to the frilled band in the hair.
* NinjaMaid: {{Subverted}}. She's Cherisa's maid and personal attendant and she fights Suki and Carol at the end of Mission 2. However, she's not a very good fighter and relies a lot on her guards. This is carried out in ''VideoGame/Didnapper2'': the first fight with her and her guards is a HopelessBossFight, but when she's later confronted alone, she goes down rather easily.
* NumberTwo: Implied to be this for Cherisa at Velis Manor. When the Queen isn't here, Nataleigh is the one in charge of the place.
* SurroundedByIdiots: She certainly feels that way when dealing with Velis' [[TheGuardsMustBeCrazy incompetent guards]].

[[caption-width-right:258:"[[BadassBoast I don't need to be a tactician to defeat the likes of you. I have naught to fear from a traitor's blade.]]"]]

An officer and war heroine of Cherisa's army. Marcia is a loyal soldier who dedicated her life to her kingdom and her queen. She has received the task to cut off Ghiaccio Village's illegal trade routes used by the criminal guilds. This threatens the Kidnapping Guild's business, who sends Suki to deal with the problem.
----
* AdaptationalHeroism: A FlatCharacter and mere enforcer of Cherisa's will in older versions, Versions 1.7 and 1.8 turned her into a HeroAntagonist.
* AntiVillain: [[SlidingScaleOfAntiVillains Type 4]], but only in versions 1.7 and 1.8. In here, she has been tasked with crushing the illegal operations of the Kingdom's criminal guilds by cutting off their trade routes.
* ArtEvolution: She started with a very crude battler in v1.5 to two updated and better but still similar in v1.6 to a [[FanservicePack fully developed one]] in v1.7 and 1.8.
* DefiantCaptive: More than any other Private Cell Captive. Marcia frequently spouts lines akin to "if I wasn't tied up right now" whenever Suki takes any delight in the situation.
* DualBoss: Fought alongside Rielle at the end of Mission 5 if Suki decides to infiltrate the garrison.
* DumbMuscle: According to Athena, she's not much of a tactician.
* FanservicePack: She got one in v1.8 with her design now having D-Cup size breasts and a hourglass figure.
* HeroAntagonist: A brave warrior with a strong code of honour who dedicated her life to fighting crime. In other games, she would be the heroine. Unfortunately for her, she's in this game.
* JerkassHasAPoint: While having Athena imprisoned was technically unjustified as she was on her side, Athena was in contact with Claude, the leader of the opposition in Ghiaccio. Which means that she may have not been totally unjustified when she decided to preemptively order her capture when they started to ran out of money. However, [[KnightTemplar she didn't give Athena a chance to explain herself before doing it]]...
* KnightTemplar: In spite of her AdaptationalHeroism in Version 1.7, she has shades of it. Dialogues in the private cell reveal that she imprisoned Athena because she didn't have enough money to pay her anymore and feared she would defect ([[PetTheDog while intending to release her once Claude's rebellion was crushed]]). It never occured to her that she could ask her to keep fighting for her until she got money again. Or simply that, even if she left, Athena would not necessarily join Marcia's enemies simply because she didn't work for the Royal Army anymore. In her eyes, as a mercenary, Athena wasn't trustworthy enough to have a choice. Of course, once Athena escaped, [[MistreatmentInducedBetrayal there was only one logical outcome]]...
* MoralMyopia: She keeps calling Athena a traitor because she sides with Suki... forgetting that, by locking her up without giving her a chance to defend herself, ''she'' arguably betrayed Athena first.
* MsFanservice: She is one in v1.7 and 1.8 with her increased breast size and armor similar to a corset revealing her cleavage.
* AMotherToHerMen: If Suki speaks with her in the private cell, her first reaction will be to ask if her captured soldiers are alive and well.
* UndyingLoyalty: Towards Queen Cherisa. [[spoiler:In the epilogue, after she's freed, she becomes the leader of Cherisa's army.]]

!!Lieutenant Rielle

Captain Marcia's second-in-command. Corrupt and pragmatic, she's only concerned with her own promotion.
----
* AdaptationalVillainy: In older versions, she was just an unnamed MauveShirt that served as a optional flunky sub-boss. In v1.7 and 1.8, she was given an original design, an actual personality and became a foil to the mostly-honorable Marcia by being a CorruptCop [[spoiler:willing to betray Marcia for money and a promotion.]]
* BackForTheFinale: She does [[TheBusCameBack show up again]] in the tenth and last mission, [[spoiler:trying to stop Suki and her team from reaching Cherisa's room]].
* CorruptCop: Or more like Corrupt Knight. While Marcia is incorruptible, Rielle is said to easily accept bribes. This is the reason why Claude and the kidnapping guild want to remove Marcia from the picture, so Rielle can take her place and soften the trade blockade for them, in exchange for a small price of course. [[spoiler:And at the end of Mission 5, this is exactly what happens.]]
* ChronicBackstabbingDisorder: She's willing to team up with known criminals to [[spoiler:usurp Marcia's place]]. [[spoiler:Mission 10 shows that she's only concerned with what benefits her once more, as she teams up with Rolina against you.]]
* DirtyCoward: According to Athena, she is this, as she ambushed her from behind when she lowered her guard during a patrol when Marcia ordered her capture and imprisonment.
* DualBoss:
** Fought alongside Marcia at the end of Mission 5 if Suki decides to infiltrate the garrison.
** Again in Mission 10 alongside [[spoiler:Rolina]].
* EyepatchOfPower: She wears one, covering her left eye.
* KarmaHoudini: At the end of Mission 5... [[spoiler:she got everything she wanted]]. She's [[spoiler:hit by the KarmaHoudiniWarranty in Mission 10, when she tries to help Rolina capture Suki and her friends. She ends up in prison in the epilogue.]]
* LaserGuidedKarma: Provided all goes well for the events of Mission 10, [[spoiler:she ends up in jail along with many of the antagonists you've faced throughout the game.]]
* TheStarscream: She longs to usurp Marcia's place. [[spoiler:And does it at the end of Mission 5, when Marcia is captured]].
* UngratefulBitch: She doesn't give a single crap that you helped her [[spoiler:usurp Marcia]]. She'll happily [[spoiler:team up with Rolina against you to get what she wants.]]

* AuthorityEqualsAsskicking: She's an aristocrat, [[spoiler:the true BigBad of the game and the unofficial leader of the Kingdom]]. She's also a surprisingly powerful mage.
* BigBad: [[spoiler:She's the true mastermind of Cherisa's coup and the real power behind the Queen.]]
* EvilChancellor: Not officially the true ruler of the Kingdom, but she's her daughter's adviser and [[spoiler:she turned Cherisa into her PuppetQueen. She plans to invade and conquer the neighboring [[GenericanEmpire Empire]]]].
* FinalBoss: [[spoiler:She's the true BigBad and the final enemy of the game.]]
* TheGhost: In spite of her importance in the plot, she's never seen and is only mentioned during most of the game. She only appears in person at the end.
* HiddenVillain: The true extent of her role in the plot is only revealed [[spoiler:during [[WhamEpisode the mission in Florian]], the eigth mission out of ten.]]
* KickingAssInAllHerFinery: She [[spoiler:battles four people at the same time and gives them a tough fight]], all while wearing her gorgeous regal dress.
* KnightOfCerebus: She's one of the few antagonists who explicitly tries to have someone killed, [[spoiler:as she planned Suki's murder before the Prologue]], and she allows her servant to [[spoiler:psychollogically torture her own daughter when she steps out of line]].
* LaserGuidedKarma: She allowed Rolina to [[spoiler:use bondage as a way to punish her daughter Cherisa]]. After [[spoiler:her defeat, she's the one being kept bound and gagged in a prison cell. Even better is the fact she was put there by the very princess she tried to have killed.]].
* TheManBehindTheMan: [[spoiler:She's the one who truly holds the power after Cherisa becomes queen, thanks to her large influence among the aristocrats. She's also the one who devised the plan to remove Suki from the picture and put her daughter on the throne as her puppet queen.]]
* PetTheDog: She does allow Cherisa to [[spoiler:pass some reforms to improve her subjects' life, as long as they don't threaten her plans.]] Although it may just be PragmaticVillainy. [[spoiler:After all, it's easier to wage a war if your people support you.]]
* StrongFamilyResemblance: Physically-wise, she's exactly what an older Cherisa would look like. [[spoiler:Not so much in terms of personality though.]]
* VisionaryVillain: She genuinely thinks she's expanding the Kingdom's "glory" by [[spoiler:inciting war with the Empire]].
* WalkingSpoiler: Just like with her daughter, it's best you play the game first before revealing the spoiler tags.

Cherisa's personal priestess and one of her main advisers. [[spoiler:In reality, she works for Krystina. Her task is to keep an eye on the queen and to make sure that Cherisa obeys her mother's orders.]]
----
* BadBoss: She uses magical torture to keep Evangelynne in line and in one bad ending, [[spoiler:after forcing Evelyn to become her servant/apprentice, she punishes her by tying her up under the rain for "incompetence"]].
* ColdBloodedTorture: She's a master of this.
** Inflicts this to Evangelynne with her magic to ensure her obedience. [[spoiler:Implied to use it on Cherisa, on [[AbusiveParents Krystina's orders]], to keep her in line.]]
** Mission 10 shows she's not above psychological torture, either; Cherisa is first encountered in Mission 10 [[spoiler:stuffed inside of her bedroom closet as punishment for disobeying her mother in Florian Town; Rolina and Krystina ''know'' that Cherisa's afraid of the dark.]]
** She employs this to chilling effect with damn near everyone under her. If you lose to Krystina on the final level, [[spoiler:the first thing she does after the TimeSkip on-screen is leave [[NiceGirl Evelyn]] tied to a post in the ''rain'' for ''incompetence''.]]
* TheDragon: [[spoiler:But not to Cherisa. She's Krystina's.]]
* DualBoss:
** Fought alongside Evangelynne during the climax of the eighth mission.
** Fought alongside [[spoiler:Rielle]] in the last mission.
* {{Hypocrite}}: She insists that everyone must call Cherisa "Queen Cherisa" and must show her respect. [[spoiler:But she gladly punishes her on Krystina's order. Rielle, of all people, points out the hypocrisy of this attitude.]]
* KnightOfCerebus: Not as murderous as Elda or even Dariana, but just as vile, if not more. Her sadism is unnerving, her keeping Evangelynne in leash with a magical artefact designed to make her feel pain brings a lot of FridgeHorror and her use of bondage as a torture device is NOT PlayedForLaughs.
* LaserGuidedKarma: She enjoys tying up and torturing other girls. [[spoiler:After Krystina's defeat, she's the one who's now tied up and imprisoned.]]
* LightIsNotGood: Has blonde hair and is a priestess, but is in reality a sadistic creep who keeps Evangelynne in line with magical ColdBloodedTorture.
* {{Sadist}}: She clearly enjoys inflicting her ColdBloodedTorture.
* TortureTechnician: She's a master of ColdBloodedTorture, wether it is magically inflicting pain, using bondage or employing psychological torture.

----
* AntiVillain: She's forced to obey Rolina via magical ColdBloodedTorture. In one NonStandardGameOver, she tries to apologize to a locked-up Suki for how things went. [[spoiler:If Suki and her friends free her from the magical device that allows the spell to torture her, she immediately switches sides and helps them.]]
* DarkActionGirl: Has the design, but not the personality.
* DarkIsNotEvil: To contrast with Rolina's LightIsNotGood. She may work for the antagonists and has a DarkActionGirl design, but Evangelynne is at heart a good person. She doesn't have a choice.
* TheDogBitesBack: The other soldiers know perfectly well how Rolina keeps her in line and mock her for that several times. [[spoiler:If you free her, she gets to punch a few of them until they're knocked out.]] Also counts as ThrowTheDogABone.
* DualBoss: Fought alongside Rolina during the climax of the eighth mission.
* DudeWheresMyRespect: Krystina's soldiers like to poke fun at the fact that she's Rolina's slave, even though she's stronger than them.
* ForcedIntoEvil: She works for Rolina, but only because she has no other choice.
* MysteriousPast: Her backstory is never elaborated, most notably how she ended up as Rolina's servant.
* MsFanservice: As shown by her picture, the game really knows how to highlight her *ahem* ''assets''.
* {{Stripperiffic}}: Even by this game's standards, her outfit is ''very'' revealing. Just ''look'' at the picture.

Students in the females-only Aurealis Academy. When Master Hyranda chased away the other teachers, the students trusted her and remained loyal to her, staying in the school. 449----
* AlphaBitch: Some of them behave like this, if we go by the rude way they talk to [[ShrinkingViolet Evelyn]].
* BlackMagicianGirl: A whole school of them.

During the FAQ, Evelyn becomes uncomfortable when she starts to realize the implications about the fact that all students know how to tie up people.
* LockedUpAndLeftBehind: Some of them, after being defeated and BoundAndGagged by the heroines, are stashed in a closet in order to be hidden out of sight. After the end of the mission, [[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments Evelyn receives the task to free them all.]]

* AmazonBrigade: An all-female crew.
* AmbiguouslyGay: Dariana is heavily implied to be in a relationship with [[spoiler:Alyssa]]. There's also her interest and [[spoiler:interrigation of Liliana in the sequel.]]
* TheBadGuyWins: In the alternative ending [[spoiler:where Suki defeats the ambush but is eventually outsmarted by the pirates and is forced to escape, or if Suki decides to give up and leave the town without confronting them again in the bar,]] they all get away scot-free.
* TheBusCameBack: [[spoiler:She makes an appearance in ''VideoGame/Didnapper2'' as an ArcVillain alongside Alyssa.]]
* DressedToPlunder: They dress like typical fictional pirates.
* FanservicePack: Dariana got one in v1.7 with an increased bust size and a cleavage-friendly outfit. Some of the pirates also give a PantyShot after being tied up.
* FillerVillain: They are the main antagonists of Mission 6 and Suki has to [[BoundAndGagged remove them from the picture]] if she wants to cross the sea, but they have no ties with Cherisa whatsoever.
* TheGunslinger: Dariana fights using guns in version 1.6.
* HiredGun: [[spoiler:In the sequel, she's trying to cash in on Liliana, who's being targeted by the council and BigBad.]]
* KarmaHoudini: [[spoiler:Dariana and Alyssa become this in mission 6's alternative ending where Suki defeats the ambush but is eventually outsmarted by the pirates and she is forced to escape, this time, however, there's no rematch in the bar. It's also the case if Suki decides to leave the town without confronting Dariana again.]]
** And even if [[spoiler:Dariana is arrested, Alyssa rescues her during the epilogue.]]
* KnightOfCerebus: Dariana is the first villain who explicitly tries to kill Suki, and in a very cruel way for that matter. By having Suki WalkThePlank, sentencing her to either drown or [[CruelAndUnusualDeath die of starvation]] on a life boat.
* MistakenForCheating: [[spoiler:In the sequel, Alyssa thinks her interrigation of Liliana is something else.]]
* MsFanservice: Dariana can be considered one in v1.8 with her [[FanservicePack new design]]. The pirates who avert the MagicSkirt trope count as FanserviceExtra.
* AMotherToHerMen: Or rather a Mother to Her Women. Dariana is said to be like a mother for her crew.
* AnOfferYouCantRefuse: [[spoiler:If she was not arrested at the end of Mission 6, Alyssa reveals that she was sent by Dariana to force Suki to join her crew at the end of Mission 9]].
* PetTheDog: Dariana gets one moment, combined with EvenEvilHasLovedOnes. During the rematch in the bar, [[spoiler:she makes a HeroicSacrifice to allow Alyssa to escape]].
* TheQueenpin: [[spoiler:In the sequel.]]
* RoseHairedSweetie: {{Averted}}. Dariana may have pink hair, but she's anything but sweet and gleefully sentences Suki to possibly die adrift.

!!Queen Kalama and her Amazons
The leader of a tribe of amazons living in the formerly unclaimed territory between the Kingdom and the Empire. The arrival of settlers from the Kingdom has caused a conflict to arise.
----
* AdaptationalAttractiveness: In v.1.6, she was inspired after Amazonian tribal women with her being scarred, having cut off her right breast and only having one functional eye. In v.1.8, she's more conventionally attractive with her now sporting makeup, wearing a very tight fur bra and short loincloth.
* AmazonBrigade: Obviously, as they are based on the dark-skinned tribal stereotype.
* BothSidesHaveAPoint: In their conflict with the settlers. On the one hand, the Amazons are right to point out that the territory, as well as its resources, belongs to them and that the settlers settling without their consent is basically an invasion. On the other hand, the settlers point out that the Kingdom needs the resources and did try to negociate a treaty that would allow them to exploit ''part of'' the resources. The BloodKnight tendencies of the Amazons, Kalama's refusal to negociate and their clear WithUsOrAgainstUs mentality (they do attack travellers on sight) also make them lose a few sympathy points. Although it's stated that it's mostly because of Kalama's influence that the Amazons refuse to negociate.
* EvilCannotComprehendGood: [[spoiler:If Kalama was captured during Mission 7, she's released, among Suki's other captives, at the end of the game.]] Kalama doesn't understand why Suki showed mercy to her, and thinks that she did it to humiliate her more.
* FillerVillain: If you side with the settlers, they are the main antagonists of Mission 7. However, they are only tangentially related to the main plot.
* KarmaHoudini: Kalama [[spoiler:is released, among Suki's other captives, at the end of the game. Having learned nothing from the whole ordeal, she's now plotting to fight Cilia again to gain back her throne, assuming she was even overthrown in the first place. If she wasn't, she has agreed to leave the settlers alone...after they gave her a bound and gagged Cilia as a gift.]]
* ProudWarriorRaceGirl: Their people take pride in their strength and view the weak as inferiors. [[spoiler:If Kalama is defeated by Suki's team, the other Amazons will immediately turn their back on her as, in their eyes, her defeat proved she wasn't worthy of being their leader anymore.]]

!!Cilia and the settlers
The leader of a group of settlers who have been sent by Queen Cherisa to settle in the formerly unclaimed territory between the Kingdom and the Empire, to claim its resources. Their arrival caused a conflict to arise with the local Amazon tribe.
----
* AntiVillain: Cilia is trying to claim lands and resources belonging to the Amazons. However, she's only doing it because her Queen gave her an order. She tried to negotiate with the tribe rather than use force, but it failed because of Kalama's refusal. She also does point out to Suki that, if the Amazons refuse to listen to her, the Kingdom may send other settlers who will be more willing to use violence or even lethal force to get the lands and resources.
* BothSidesHaveAPoint: In their conflict with the Amazons. However, in general, the settlers seem to be a little more reasonable than their opponents and, at the very least, are less violent. Although it's stated that it's mostly because of Kalama's influence that the Amazons refuse to negotiate.
* CovertPervert: A variation. [[spoiler: While other girls like Nataleigh and Alyssa are quite open about their kinky side, Cilia undergoes a kind of self discovery as Suki's captive. At first she ''hates'' being kept bound and gagged, but as the game progresses and her relationship with Suki improves, she finds out she actually ''does'' enjoy her current situation, and being honest with herself leads to her actively acting the Sub to Suki's Domme, even asking for more punishment when Suki slaps her, making Cilia one of the few girl with genuine masochism. She even calls Suki "Mistress". Its to the point that being given to Kalama as a gift isn't even a bad ending, since she's rather be a bondage slave than a town leader.]]
** Suki read her like a book when she proposes that being taken care of and having no responsibilities is not a bad trade-off for being kept tied up, especially since [[spoiler: Cilia]] LIKES being tied up. Like, a lot.
* DownerEnding: A possible one for [[spoiler: Cilia, the epilogue states she is safe back home, but her settlers tie her up and give her as a gift to the amazons. By all rights spending her future as Kamala's chained and gagged slave should be NightmareFuel, but its downplayed , since her time as Suki's prisoner has actually led to her finding HappinessInSlavery.]]
* FillerVillain: If you side with the Amazons, they are the main antagonists of Mission 7. However, they are only tangentially related the main plot.
* HappinessInSlavery: Like other potential [[spoiler:Private Cell captives, Suki can butter her up to the point that she's accepting of her conditions. Unlike other examples, however, Cilia seems a ''lot'' more open to it, and Suki even provides some logic for her to justify it, at that! (She's safe, fed, taken care of and doesn't have to work or have any responsibilities. )]] The likely reason is that Cilia is an OC of Kendrian's, [[Rule34 who often drew her in his artwork]].
** [[spoiler: Of special note is the fact that Cilia averts her own DownerEnding when being given to Kalama as a peace offering. How? Her time with Suki brought out a side of her that enjoys being bound and punished, thus making her actually ''happier'' as Kalama's bondage slave than she was being in charge of the colony!]]
* MadeASlave: [[spoiler: Cilia's ultimate fate, for certain if Suki sided with Kamala and very likely even if she didn't, is to be Queen Kamala's fetish slave. Even after Suki lets her go, her own people abduct her and give her to Kamala as a gift in exchange for peace, which Kamala accepts, since there's nothing she wants more than to have Cilia chained and gagged at her feet. [[HappinessInSlavery Thankfully]], Cilia actually loves being bound and punished, so it worked out shockingly well.]]

!!Violet, the Thief
A thief often attempting to rob houses Suki can fight when returning to previous locations.
----
* DramaticIrony: If Suki loses to her in Huston, she finally quips that she has a contact that she'll sell Suki to... [[spoiler:[[TheMentor Leroy]]]]. Luckily, Suki's spared the embarrassment due to the homeowners showing up just in time.
** If Suki loses to her in Florian, [[spoiler: she sells Suki to Leroy claiming her to be the daughter of a judge. Leroy plays along and pays to free Suki while also giving her a "be carefull next time" speech for much of Suki's embarrassment.]]
* LampshadeHanging: Of the fact that the player has to actively search for her to unlock the optional scenes with her. She asks Suki if she can do something not involving interrupting her everytime she tries to rob a house and doesn't even bother to known how she always finds her by the third time you fight with her.
* LoneWolfBoss: She's a RecurringBoss, but isn't affiliated with any of the main antagonists of the game.
* OptionalBoss: All the fights with her are entirely optional. Depending on how you play the game, you may never meet her at all. [[spoiler:Defeating her six times will turn her into a personal captive for the Private Cell.]]
* ReplacementGoldfish: If her sidequest is finished, [[spoiler:she joins the Kidnapping Guild during the epilogue, taking Suki's place in the guild following her defection.]]
* RunningGag: Suki can fight and capture her five times across Ghiaccio Village, Madinah Town, Armark Town, Huston Village, Florian Town and Belbasa Harbor, each time she will get more annoyed to see Suki.
