16	The protagonist, Viserys started the quest as a homeless exile in Braavos with nothing but his five-year-old sister, his mother's crown, and an empty title to his name. His fate would have been a miserable and humiliating one, if not for the truest legacy of the dragonlords, the arcane might in his very blood, which he reached for while at his most helpless. Since then, he's resolved to turn the CrapsackWorld of Planetos, blindly spiraling down the drain with the return of magic, into something that can - and deserves to - survive the Long Night.

18	* BenevolentMageRuler: Although he is often seen as a SorcerousOverlord, in practice this is what Viserys strives to be and largely accomplishes. Sourcer's Deep could be unironically called the best place to live in the world, and this is largely due to having magic intertwined with its very existence and functions, instead of having them tacitly tacked on as almost all other factions do.
19	* FromNobodyToNightmare: Viserys was all but forgotten by his enemies at the start of the quest. A penniless exile from a usurped dynasty, what threat could he possibly pose? They would dearly regret their complacency.
20	* RagsToRoyalty: Viserys began the quest in exile, fleeing his home yet again and joining a thieves guild in order to survive. Needless to say, he's risen considerably since then.
