3	* Izuku's ScheherezadeGambit against Shigaraki Tomura, keeping his cool and keeping them distracted long enough for help to arrive. The fact he's able to do so even in the face of Aizawa's NearDeathExperience creating a pseudo-phantom is ''incredibly'' impressive.
4	** The way he starts it off -- comforting the distraught Aizawa and then, when the villain scoffs, looking them dead in the eyes and saying "I wasn't talking to you. But since you're asking... would you like to talk?"
5	* Face-to-face with Hero Killer Stain, listening to him ramble on about how he's going to murder everyone he deems unworthy of calling themselves heroes, Izuku shuts him down bluntly, followed by '''ripping apart''' his whole philosophy for how stupid and short-sighted it is.
6	* While Izuku doesn't think much of it, the way he ''weaponizes'' DisappointedInYou, exploiting the very fact that nobody would '''ever''' expect him to do anything that might disappoint All Might. Followed by him utterly ''shutting them down'' before they can go into full lecture mode, with his words knocking them completely off their guard and getting them to realize that ''something is wrong'':

8	* Following the practical exam, when Bakugou starts harassing Midoriya again, Aizawa steps in and ''shuts him down'' in a way none of their teachers had ever done before.
9	** Aizawa then privately apologizes to Izuku, owning up to how he misjudged the situation between them and patiently, calmly dealing with the emotional fallout he helped to cause.
10	** And when Bakugou comes in demanding a do-over, he completely dismantles his usual bravado, starting with this little exchange:

14	* Ragdoll managing to keep her cool under pressure and intense pain to comfort Izuku when her Quirk's being ripped away. Not only that, she's able to quietly reveal to him All For One's physical weaknesses in the process!
15	* Aizawa handling a particularly despicable member of the press who keeps trying to trip him up with 'gotcha' questions, leading up to a great speech calling out the BlackAndWhiteInsanity of acting like people are incapable of growing or changing for the better.
16	** And when they bring up how Izuku permanently blinded Muscular and how it was "too far", Aizawa tells them that Muscular is still alive, was never in danger of dying, and that he had been planning on beating a 9-year-old child to death for ''fun'', [[ArmorPiercingQuestion before asking if they think Izuku went too far to protect an innocent kid from a monster like that]]. Nobody has anything else to say or ask after that.
17	* After letting All For One believe that the ManipulativeBastard swayed him to their side, Izuku signs his weaknesses to Toshinori while standing next to him because he's blind, then draws the villain's full attention by revealing just how hard he played them. Like the cheap kazoos they are.
18	-->'''Izuku:''' I know I was feeding you bullshit, but I didn’t think you'd actually swallow it. ... You ''do'' scare me, All For One. But the thing is, I'm always afraid. Every minute of every day. And when you're afraid for that long, you forget what it's like to feel anything else. And now, when something frightening comes along, I can't tell the difference anymore between the new fear and the old. Of course you scare me. 19	* All For One is unhappy that Izuku turned on him, but not really that surprised. He's not an idiot, he knew it was a possibility. But Izuku isn't done yet.

21	"No you won't," Izuku answers in a voice all cracked and broken. "You won't get the chance."\

23	"[[ArmorPiercingQuestion Where's your doctor, All For One?]]" Izuku asks.\
24	All For One stops.\
25	He doesn't just hesitate.\
26	He ''stops''.\
27	Toshinori feels the taut bowstring snap in two.\
28	"You shouldn't have killed her," Izuku tells him quietly. "Maybe you wouldn't have lost so much, if you hadn't. [[ItsPersonal Or maybe I would've found another reason to hate you. It's not like you make it hard.]]"\
29	"What are you talking about?" All For One snarls behind the mask.\
30	"It doesn't matter if I tell you." Izuku's eyes burn cold with anger. "[[ButForMeItWasTuesday I doubt you ever even learned her name.]]"\
31	All For One lunges, but it's slow, even to Toshinori's eyes. The macelike limb seems to drag through the air, instead of whipping around with the same blinding speed as before.\
32	(He can't see, of course. He can't see the hands holding it back, dozens upon hundreds of pairs of hands, holding back the blow, slowing it down enough for Toshinori to catch it, and for the boy to slip beneath it.)\
33	One For All lights up the night. Izuku kicks out at All For One's [[AchillesHeel weak knee]], and in the space left by the enemy's pain, he hurtles clear.
34	* All For One, a comatose half-ghost, has a conversation with his brother and realizes that there is life after death. He thinks he'll be able to salvage some of his legacy after all. For a moment.
35	-->"Nii-san," his brother says patiently. "What makes you think I'm the only one who's been waiting for you to die?"\
36	For a moment, the small room seems just a bit colder than before. His senses are dulled in death, the quirks that sharpened them no longer answering his call. And yet, it seems as if the walls are creeping closer. ''Fear'', he realizes distantly. He had forgotten what that felt like.
37	* Upon realizing that Aizawa is seriously considering expelling the classmates who formed a rescue team, Izuku makes not a threat, but a promise: if he expels any of them, then Izuku will follow them right out the door.
38	-->'''Izuku:''' Because if you did, then it would mean that my goals and the school's just... don't line up. It would tell me that you care more about following rules than protecting people, and Sensei, I've had teachers who felt that way all my life. ''I don't need one more''.
39	** For bonus points? He makes this promise through sign language, with Yamada translating for him.
40	* Izuku calls Katsuki out on his ItsAllAboutMe attitude and ''finally'' getting him to start grasping the ''depth'' of the scars he's carved into his long-time victim.
41	** One For All has finally made Izuku's ISeeDeadPeople quirk strong enough that ghosts can fully interact with the world and be seen by others. Rei shows this off by finally being able to protect Izuku from Bakugou's abuse by tackling him to the ground and pinning him there while he can only stare at her in shock.
42	* Lemillion's BigDamnHeroes moment, saving Eri and Deku from Mr. Compress, who is basically Deku's Kryptonite due to his claustrophobia. He arrives, all heroic and in costume and like a BigDamnHero should. Then Compress declares that he'll now take his leave, and Lemillion grins.

44	** Compress is in custody the next chapter.
45	* Izuku calls Sir Nighteye out for a being a total dick to him ever since he arrived to intern, simply because he didn't think Izuku was a proper candidate for One For All. He also completely ''shreds'' Nighteye's very mistaken belief that Izuku's Quirk has made him indifferent to death, by pointing out that ghosts don't ''become'' ghosts by dying peacefully in their sleep - they suffer, alone and in pain, and Izuku has had to deal with that since he was ''three''.
46	* While under the influence of [[CannotTellALie Nemoto's Quirk]], Izuku tells Overhaul of how he saw All For One's victims tear the man apart, and he's going to watch Overhaul's do the same to him.
47	* After being killed by Overhaul, Izuku's ghost delivers a NoHoldsBarredBeatdown on the villain who's panicking over both being attacked by a dead kid and being unable to harm him back.
48	-->"So, that's a problem for later," he says out loud, and even his own voice sounds strange to him now. "I'm gonna beat the shit out of you now."\
49	Chisaki breathes in through the mask, and Izuku slams into him before he can speak. The force of the blow sends him flying through the jagged terrain he made himself, and he only avoids shattered bones by destroying each spike and ridge as he crashes through them. When he comes to a halt at least, still battered and bleeding in spite of his efforts, Izuku is upon him, beating him back down with his one remaining fist. The taste of blood is sharp on his tongue, and the storm inside of him wants more.\
50	Struggling upright, Chisaki slams his hand into Izuku's broken chest, but nothing happens. His quirk can't touch the things that ghosts are made of.\
51	"How," Chisaki rasps. "How--I ''killed'' you."\
52	Izuku spits the memory of blood. He thinks back to before Chisaki did what he did, before his body was torn apart and broken, and when he looks down again, his arm is good as new.\
53	"Looks like it," he says. "What's your plan now, Kai?"\
54	He looks into Chisaki's eyes and sees fear bleeding through. Izuku's heart isn’t doing much beating at the moment, but he still feels hope in it all the same.
55	** Eri revives Izuku by rewinding him to before he died.
56	* Izuku giving power to the dead, creating a [[CavalryOfTheDead army of the dead]] [[Film/TheLordOfTheRingsTheReturnOfTheKing Lord of the Rings]] style. And the ones that are not tearing into Overhaul are [[BigDamnHeroes helping the rest of the heroes out]].
