1	* The introduction of Scrooge could not have been more masterfully executed. At first, the scene is bright and lighthearted with some comedic back and forth between Gonzo/Dickens and Rizzo. The ''instant'' Scrooge enters the scene, ''everything'' about it shifts to cold and foreboding. Even without a single special effect in regards to Scrooge himself, it is abundantly clear that it’s his presence alone which caused such a drastic tonal shift.
2	* The fact that they can make a ''Muppet'' version of 'The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come' actually look spooky is no easy task, yet these guys make it look easy.
3	** Also, the Ghost of Christmas Present, which was the most complex Muppet made up to that point.
4	* Despite now being a content housewife, Piggy is just as badass as ever. When Scrooge shows up pretending to be angry at Bob for not coming to work, she stands up to Ebenezer and makes it clear that she's [[ViolentlyProtectiveGirlfriend ready to lay him out]] if he even THINKS about threatening her husband.

11	* Creator/MichaelCaine himself, simply for being able to keep Kermit and Co from stealing the show.
12	** Just the fact that he was able to play the three-dimensional, complex character of Ebenezer Scrooge completely straight and with his full effort and play it ''incredibly'' well ''while surrounded by Muppets''.
13	** Some have said that he rivals Creator/AlastairSim for the best performance of Scrooge and that it was this role that actually revived his career after he had become too old to play his classic "wideboy" parts.
14	** Caine himself said that the secret for playing against the Muppets is to treat them all like the Royal Shakespeare Company. Smart guy.
15	* The fact that they not only included large chunks of Dickensian prose and dialogue but actually worked some of it into ''the songs.''
16	* After the sudden passing of Creator/JimHenson, nobody was sure what would happen to the Muppets and whether or not they'd be able to keep going. The fact the remaining performers came together and created this film (which is very popular with many Muppets fans) proved that they could.
17	** Special mention goes to his son Brian as this was his first directing job ''ever''. Apparently, he did such a good job on set that Michael Caine was shocked when he learned Henson had never directed a film before.
