* Wily and Eggman. Not only is their bromance entertaining enough on its own, the way they manage to play Sonic and Mega Man against one another, in addition to rewriting both of their realities, is nothing short of a villainous triumph.
* Sonic gets one in Sonic the Hedgehog #248, where he turns the tide of the battle against Mega Man (which had been a stalemate up to that point) by using his wits and the unique geography of Green Hill Zone.
** Mega Man gets one in not only making Sonic the Hedgehog believe he's not going to win, but being the one who finally gets them to stop fighting and start talking.
** Likewise, Doctor Light gets one when he figures out how to recreate Eggman and Wily's interdimensional portals simply by analyzing some data given to him by Blues.
* Sonic and Mega Man finally becoming friends in Megaman #25.
* Copy Robot and the Genesis Unit versus Sonic, Tails, Mega Man, Proto Man, and Rush in Sonic Universe #52.
* Tails modifies Mega Man's buster to fire out Spin-Dash Blasts. In the middle of a fight against the roboticized Chaotix, no less. Then MM uses it to cure the Chaotix Roboticized Masters along with Sonic's help.
* Rouge being able to infiltrate Eggman and Wily's lair in the Skull Egg Zone (a zone she is totally unfamiliar with) they were hiding in and download vital intel from right under their noses. Dr. Light was understating her skills when he called her resourceful.
* Part 9. Nearly the whole thing is a battle royal between Mega Man and Sonic's team versus what was described as nearly 100 Robot Masters turns out to be every Robot Master from 2-10, plus King's Robot Masters and the Genesis Unit. It is glorious!
* Part 10. In addition to the continued awesomeness of the fight, Dr. Light gets a moment when he crashes in the middle of it. After making sure Mega Man and Sonic are in the Wily Egg, he constructs a Buster and joins in.
** Sonic, Tails, and Mega Man versus the Mega Man Killers (Enker, Punk, and Ballade). The three-on-three melee ends with Tails injured by a Ballade Cracker and Sonic and Rock having to go on without Tails and Rush.
* Part 11. It's the originals versus the evil counterparts in an issue-long battle. Bass and Metal Sonic hold their own and even beat down the heroes midway through the issue before finally being defeated by a combination of teamwork, guile, and liberal use of Roboticized Master weapons. Bonus points to Bass for roundhouse-kicking Sonic into a wall then later casually backhanding away a Spin Attack like nothing.
* Part 12, full stop! The original 8 Robot Masters arriving to help our heroes with the 2-10 Robot Masters.
** It needs to be emphasized: Elec Man and the Light Numbers coming to the rescue was the only reason they were able to stop the Genesis Wave. If they hadn't shown up, Knuckles and Proto Man wouldn't have been freed up to save Sonic and Rock.
** Sonic and Mega Man going Super! Especially their epic CombinationAttack that dispatches the Egg-Wily Machine X in one shot.
* Duo makes quite an entry in the comic, dashing through multiple floors of the Wily Egg and uppercutting the freaking eye out of the Chaos Devil!
** This also could be considered a RescuedFromTheScrappyHeap moment. It is made visibly clear that the Devil Core is commanding the power of Perfect Chaos, and Duo takes the thing on evenly, without the slightest inclination of worry. At the end of their fight, Duo is shown with the core crushed in his hand, Chaos 0 beside him. Duo does not have any damage whatsoever.
* Something of a cross between this and Crowning Moment of Funny occurs in Part 10, as Sonic utterly curbstomps Slash Man riding Charge Man, Metal Man riding Turbo Man, Nitro Man, and Quick Man. The moment is cemented when Quick Man tries to hit Sonic with a Quick Boomerang, only for Sonic to roll into a ball, making the projectile hit the other robot masters, and Sonic swerves, making Quick Man trip and the Fast Robot Masters to crumple in a dogpile.
** The kicker comes a page later, where Sonic and Quick Man fight again, and Sonic utterly outclasses him by racing past, through, in between and on at least five other robot masters (and examine Ring Man's rings and have a small argument with Strike Man), only to nail Quick Man again. And befitting his character, Sonic has the ultimate one-liner:
--> Sonic: You're quick, Quick Man, but you're not fast!
