8	** "Screaming them into submission" doesn't do it justice. The entire Rogues Gallery covers their ears yes, but he screams so loudly and so long it creates a pit under the lot of them as the entire basement threatens to give out.
9	* "Remembrance of Courage Past", where Courage uses his trademark scream once again to subdue the mad doctor (pictured above) that shot his parents into space and was going to do the same to Muriel and Eustace. Then gives the evil vet a taste of his own medicine by [[HoistByHisOwnPetard launching him into space by his own rocket]]. For bonus points, the whole final chase and fight sequence is recreated from flashbacks to the time that the vet got his parents. Only this time Courage manages to trick and trap him by making some changes at some vital moments, essentially getting the chance to do this time right what he had wanted to do all this time ago. With ''all'' the dogs, especially Courage's parents, [[LaserGuidedKarma ready to deliver the payback he so richly deserves]].
10	* Muriel gets one in "A Night At the Katz Motel", where she saves Courage from being strangled by knocking out Katz in one shot. And not even breaking a sweat.
11	* Muriel coming to Courage's rescue twice in "The Shadow of Courage." The first time is after Courage is sent to sleep in the attic, and she hears Eustace scaring him ("Now ''you'' sleep in the attic!"). The second time is when Eustace chases Courage into the kitchen and proceeds to strangle the poor dog while yelling "Say Uncle!" Cue Muriel [[BigDamnHeroes bursting into the kitchen]] with a rolling pin, a loud WHACK heard from off-screen, and Muriel calmly walking back to bed with Courage in her arms.

18	* Courage similarly defeating the rats in "[[WholePlotReference The Nutcracker]]" while dancing to The Trepak. He gradually grows from paralysed with fear into a confident performer who ends up as the one chasing ''them'' around. Then he brings the dump down with some decently smart hits at the base and with an unusually seen self-satisfied smile. He sure has a penchant for dancing.
19	* In "The Quilt Club", after The Stitch Sisters formally "induct" Muriel into their so-called "Quilt Club" , by literally sewing her into the living quilt they've been using to preserve their life since the stone age, the Stitch Sisters attempt to throw away Muriel's box of memory quilts, but Courage suddenly pops out of it roaring at them with red string in hand. He then quickly ties them into submission and twirls them around into the chair, leaving them to watch helplessly as he saves Muriel. What makes this example stand out is that unlike most times where he's scared but stands strong against his adversaries, here he is genuinely pissed off by what they have done to Muriel. A prime example of why you should never try to harm this dog's family. And the best part? This is the only time in the entire show where Courage has managed to make the ''monsters'' scared of ''him''.
20	** During the "saving Muriel" part, the old quilt with a picture of !Baby Eustace proves not to be quite enough to bring Muriel back, and Courage is about to be cornered by the Sisters again. What does he do? He ''tears off his own pelt'' and sews ''that'' in as well, which does the trick.
21	* In "Stormy Weather," a storm Goddess arrives at the farm searching for her lost dog. She mistakes Courage for her dog and tries to take him away, but Muriel isn't have any of it and argues with the Goddess about it for the entire episode. May not seem awesome on it's own, but this entire fight is going on while the Goddess has created a massive thunderstorm that completely destroys the house. Muriel spends most of it flying through the air, with only some string tangled around her boot keeping her from certain death and the longer this goes on, the worse the storm gets. Does that weaken Muriel's resolve or even phase her? Fuck no! Courage is ''her'' dog and nothing and no one is taking him from her. That is real love and determination right there.
22	** Another similar example in "Muriel Meets Her Match", after being framed for a crime she didn't commit and having all her documents stolen, she proceeds to accidentally single-handedly save the day.

24	* Eustace gets one in "Klub Katz"; after the Bagges are stranded on the titular island, Eustace and Muriel are turned into a wrecking ball and a washing machine respectively and forced to fight in an arena. As Courage (who willingly turns himself into a helicopter) rescues Muriel, Eustace suddenly notices that Katz is [[BerserkButton in his chair]]. He promptly flies into a rage after accidentally wrecking his chair (thanks to Katz) and chases Katz around the island with the intent to ''kill'' him. Katz was never shown so utterly terrified of someone or something before, but considering what he's like, he totally deserves it.
25	** The fact that not even a ''tidal wave destroying the ship he's on'' separates him from his beloved chair and that he goes flying while still sitting in it and not giving a single fuck definitely counts.

28	* In "The Hunchback of Nowhere", Eustace is about to pick on Courage again when [[BigDamnHeroes the hunchback arrives to save Courage and cow Eustace into submission]] by showing him a picture of his own face. That's after Courage had given the hunchback something he wanted: to be shown that he's loved. "What goes around comes around", indeed.
29	** To add some context to the above scene, Courage and the hunchback are on top of the barn's roof performing a hand bell concert for Muriel. Eustace sees that the hunchback is wearing his raincoat, and goes up to the roof to demand it back. The hunchback begins to leave, but what causes him to call Eustace out? Seeing Eustace declare that everything is always "[Courage's] fault," and then scaring the poor dog so badly that he nearly ''falls off the roof'' (mind you, all in front of Muriel).

38	* Courage and Eustace's battle in Paris while they're kangaroo monsters in "The Transplant".
39	* "The Mask": Courage rescues Bunny from her abusive boyfriend Mad Dog and beats up two of his cronies that were three times his size with a shovel and thanks to a conveniently placed light switch. When Mad Dog gives chase after her in his car, Courage attempts to pull a HeroicSacrifice by jumping through the back of his car, taking the steering wheel and driving it onto the train tracks. Also doubles as a Heartwarming moment, as he saves Bunny for her friend Kitty, who hated Courage and mercilessly beat him repeatedly just because he was a dog. And Courage did this ''despite'' the fact that (as well see in his {{Imagine Spot}}s throughout the journey) he ''still'' thought Kitty was a literal monster (despite seeing her unmask).
40	* Courage takes a lot of crap from his computer, who is usually helpful, but still snarky as all hell. In at least one episode, "The Transplant", Courage gets so fed up with the computer's jokes that he rips the monitor out of the wall and throws it out the window.

43	* Eustace gets one in "Katz Candy" for frightening that evil jelly monster away with his classic "Ooga booga booga!" and fighting against Katz over a candy making machine.
44	* "Squatting Tiger, Hidden Dog", Courage goes out to save Muriel again. This time he fights a powerful, evil empress (and the Chinese hipster Di Lung), and goes on an epic quest of trials that could fit in 11 minutes: saving a girl from being eaten by a tiger, narrowly escaping a barrage of poison arrows, catching and spitting back dragon fire ''with his mouth'', and then fighting the evil empress. I repeat. [[LovableCoward Courage.]] Was FIGHTING. The villain of the day! Usually he would get lucky or spend more time running for his life, but this time he stands his ground, makes a fighting pose and cries "Hi-yah!" The animation is noticeably sped up through the short sequence, and even when Di Lung shackles him, Courage doesn't let that stop him, quickly getting free with a timely dodge when the Evil Empress tries using her EyeBeams on him... said beams end up hitting the chain and breaking it, and the whole shackle looks like ''its made of solid gold''. When the empress attempts another laser blast from her eyes, Courage manages to grab a conveniently placed mirror bigger than he is and reflect the laser back at her. He takes all the lessons he learned (finding his center and using the enemy's force against them) and saves not just Muriel, but apparently all of China. "Yay!" indeed, Courage.
45	* "Hard Drive Courage", Courage enters the computer after Muriel is digitized into it. There, a computer virus sends a ram to crush Courage into tiny bits and then several of its Mooks to finish him off. Using the Cyber World's unique environment, Courage transforms into a giant mace to squash them away. Then he transforms into a can of soda to short circuit the attacking hard drive.
46	* Courage, Muriel, and Eustace all working together in "Windmill Vandals". In a ''very'' rare moment for the show, both Muriel and Eustace aren't TooDumbToLive this time and are consistently aware of the dangerous happenings as well as being useful.
47	** Case in point, after Eustace's headless body [[SpannerInTheWorks inadvertently wrecks what's left of the windmill, thus preventing Courage from turning it manually]], his head turns out to still be carried by the vandals that had vanished before. He urgently calls for Courage and tells him to get his head back to his body so he can fix the windmill.
48	** And the act itself has a massively sped up reconstruction of the windmill's frame, followed by Courage running each of the fins and the core bolt up the side of the structure for Eustance to hurriedly fasten.
