----
!!Comic Books
* ComicBook/SpiderMan2099. Ongoing. Peter. David. Must. Buy.
* Spider-Man is cool, [[ComicBook/SpiderMen two Spider-Men are cooler]], [[VideoGame/SpiderManShatteredDimensions four Spider-Men are even cooler]], but do you know what's the coolest? '''[[http://www.comicbookresources.com/prev_img.php?pid=18384&disp=ilib&oty=1&oid=51683 EVERY!]]''' '''[[ComicBook/SpiderVerse SPIDER-]]''''''[[ContinuityPorn MAN!]]''' '''EVER!'''
** That Gwen Stacy Spider-Woman is so awesome, I just hope she...hold on, ''she's getting her own series?'' And it's dealing with what happened after her ''Edge of Spider-Verse'' story?
* ''Amazing Spider-Man'' #611 will feature a showdown between ComicBook/SpiderMan and ''ComicBook/{{Deadpool}}''. A showdown that will, apparently, degrade into "Yo Mamma-geddon". And it's being written by Joe Kelly.
* God, I hate Carly, yet Quesada keeps insisting that she's Spider-Man's perfect girlfriend. Good grief when is this ever going to... wait? [[ComicBook/SpiderIsland Carly broke up with Spidey]]? Woo-hoo, choo-choo, the MJ train is back on track!
* ''ComicBook/TheAmazingSpiderManRenewYourVows'' promises to [[http://kotaku.com/tomorrow-s-spider-man-comic-undoes-one-of-marvel-s-stup-1708455771 undo the events]] of ''ComicBook/OneMoreDay'', having Peter HappilyMarried to MJ once again, and raising a daughter to boot.[[note]]This got undone by the news that it's about an alternate universe Peter and MJ, not the mainstream versions, and was further undone when it was confirmed ''ComicBook/AllNewAllDifferentMarvel'' will just be continuing the way Slott's controversial run has developed rather than being, well, all new or all different[[/note]]
** Also, Eddie Brock comes back as Venom for a brief time. Repeat; ''[[PunctuatedForEmphasis Eddie.]] [[HesBack Brock.]] [[FirstInstallmentWins As.]] '''ComicBook/{{VENOM}}'''.''
** One of the new series in ComicBook/MarvelNOW2016, also called ''Renew Your Vows'', delves deeper into this universe!
* So, ''Franchise/SpiderMan: ComicBook/DeadNoMoreTheCloneConspiracy'', huh? The Jackal is back and making clones of everyo... Wait. Is that Kaine? ''As the Scarlet Spider?!''
** BEN REILLY IS BACK!
* After what felt like ''decades'', and after all the different hosts...''[[https://twitter.com/Marvel/status/823576038693343232 Eddie's back as Venom.]]'' And this time, '''''canonically.'''''
* ''The Fall of Parker'' would be a depressing, cliché StatusQuoIsGod story, if not for the fact that Peter's return to the Daily Bugle has him take an ''actual job'' for the paper; no longer a freelance photographer, Pete's using his experience in science and tech to work as a group editor. Pete's finally growing up!
* ''Venom Inc'': Flash Thompson returns, as the new Anti-Venom [[note]](which essentially turns him back into Agent Venom, prior to his Space Knight reinvention, only with inverted colours)[[/note]], Black Cat gives up her mob and returns to the side of angels, and Flash, Felicia, Brock, and Peter all end things in a positive mood towards one-another? OK, if there's reason to get back into reading Spider-Man, ''this is it''.
* After the infamy of ''ComicBook/OneMoreDay'' and [[ComicBook/TheAmazingSpiderManDanSlott Dan Slott's run]] being filled with bait-and-switches, [[spoiler: Issue #1 of ''ComicBook/TheAmazingSpiderMan2018'' ends with Peter and Mary Jane back together for the first time in a decade.]]

!!Films
* The announcement that Spidey will be joining the Franchise/MarvelCinematicUniverse. Many fans are speculating that it he will debut in 2016's ''Film/CaptainAmericaCivilWar'', which adapts the Marvel Civil War storyline, which Spidey was an important character in.
** And indeed, Peter Parker and Spider-Man made his MCU debut in ''Civil War'', though in much reduced and different role than the comics. Even so, he's often cited as one of the film's highest points (in a film filled with them). More info on the ''Film/CaptainAmericaCivilWar'' page. And now, MCU Spider-Man is getting own solo film this summer in ''Film/SpiderManHomecoming''.
** Disney and Sony had a fall out after the release of ''Film/SpiderManFarFromHome'', which meant that Spider-Man would be out of the MCU again and the huge SequelHook of the film would have to be ignored. But some weeks later Disney and Sony made a new deal, allowing Spider-Man to have another solo entry and an another appearance in an MCU movie before they go back to negotiations.
** The subsequent [[Film/SpiderManNoWayHome third film]] in the MCU (so-far) trilogy might likewise be the most fandom-pleasing spidey movie ever, from bringing back [[Film/SpiderMan1 beloved]] [[Film/SpiderMan2 villains]] [[https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Film/TheAmazingSpiderMan from]] [[https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Film/TheAmazingSpiderMan2 previous]] films to [[spoiler: reuniting all three actors to portray the character in the big screen.]]
