** Guaranteed to happen at least twice an episode of "World's Dumbest Partiers". ** Throughout "World's Smartest Inventions 10," the commentators examine a piece of shiny gold cloth with a string attached and wonder how it might be used. When the narrator tells us that he's recovered, apparent atheist-slash-agnostic Jaime Andrews asks "He has since recovered from the accident, or from religion...?"
** From a "Performers" episode, a man dressed as Elmo to take pictures with kids in Central Park starts hurling out anti-Semitic epithets at the crowd. When the cops proceed to arrest the man, he explains his rant to them that Jews are always out to keep Christian people from making some decent money; Judy argues that's not true, but admits Creator/MelGibson [[DontExplainTheJoke is the exception]], while Billy says he used the incident as a lesson to his kids about Jewish control of the media:

* CriticalResearchFailure:
** One man in a clip pulls up in his car and badgers an injured skateboarder who just wiped out. Eventually, during his rant, he randomly spouts, "I ain't Muslim, mothafucka, I'm American!", despite the fact that "Muslim" defines one's ''religion'' and "American" defines one's ''citizenship''. In other words, a person can be both, not to let this guy tell it.
** A "Performers" clip features a mascot performing at halftime of a high school basketball game in Indiana. The narrator claims that the mascot is that of the visiting team, but anyone who follows the NBA closely would recognize it as the mascot of the Indiana Pacers.
** Let's just say more than a few fake or staged videos have made it onto the show and been treated as completely real by the commentators. An example being a number of "World's Dumbest Brawlers" moments such as two men getting into a fight over Mario.

* SeasonalRot: Season 16 looks like a completely different show thanks to the cast changes.

* SoBadItsGood: Any ad starring Richard Heene, a.k.a. Balloon Boy's dad, and the cast helps ensure that he'll NeverLiveItDown. The guy is an obnoxious LargeHam [[UpToEleven on steroids]].

* UncannyValley: "World's Dumbest Performers 12" includes a CGI retelling of an incident in a retirement home, in which during a rehearsal of the play ''Literature/OfMiceAndMen'', the man playing George ends up actually shooting the man playing Lenny in the back of the head, since the propmaster didn't know the pistol was actually loaded. The incident in and of itself is terrible to think about. Luckily, the man survived, but the overall animation of the clip and the resemblance to the people involved is eerie. We also have Uncanny Brad and Marianne, as they play the director and the script supervisor in the reenactment.
* WhatAnIdiot:
** The premise of the series, of course, but a particularly good example took place at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. The New York Giants had just beaten the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl, and a mob of at least 200 Patriots fans were ''pissed off''. The idiot? A lone Giants fan in the middle of the crowd, taunting all of the Patriots fans who surrounded him. As Michael Loftus put it, he was lucky that he was able to walk away from this incident.
** One daredevil breaks his arm while attempting a stunt. 24 hours later, he's back out trying another stunt only to break ''his other arm''.

* FunnyAneurysmMoment:

* GermansLoveDavidHasselhoff: When [[TheSeventies 1970s]] stuntman the Human Fly attempted to do a motorcycle stunt in his native Canada, Frank Stallone sympathizes with him. The Human Fly gathered crowds that numbered in the thousands in other countries, his motorcycle stunt in Canada was performed in an almost empty stadium, while Stallone claims that he performs to sold out crowds in Australia, but in the U.S., he fails to fill even the smallest venues he's booked in.

** The commentators listed below under BaseBreakingCharacter ate themselves targets for mockery by the others for their base-breaking traits.

* BaseBreakingCharacter: Many of the show's regular female commentators - Chelsea Peretti, Jaime Andrews, Daisy Gardner, and Marianne Sierk in particular - fall into this category. While they have their share of fans, other fans feel they don't really add anything to the show [[SexSells other than sex appeal]].

* CrazyAwesome: The guy who did a backflip off the top of a house, landed face down on the ground. He ''got up and walked away like it was nothing''. This is the same show that has seen people hospitalized after falling from heights of seven feet or less. After hitting the ground, he rolled into a ninja-style kneeling pose that almost looked convincing before getting up and walking away.
