Expanded upon Fridge Brilliance item and moved to its own page

* FridgeBrilliance: Markham tries to pair Brian with an Agent Dunn who's first seen drinking a soda from a cup labelled "Gallo's Pizza". Brian tests his tuning knowledge by asking if a Gallo 12 or a Gallo 24 would be a better motor for his Skyline. When Dunn suggests a Gallo 24, Brian rejects him as a partner. At first, it looks like Brian rejected him because he wasn't up on automotive knowledge, but Brian's question highlights a better reason to reject him: Dunn failed to remember what pizza place he got his soda at. Brian doesn't want to put his life in the hands of someone that unobservant.

** A guy in a red Mustang trying out to be a henchman for Verone's operation gets crushed under an semi-truck and then the car chassis causes a grey Corvette to crash; and it was a total accident that came out of nowhere. Imagine how much this thing happens in a universe like this...
** The scene where Verone has a corrupt cop give him a 15-minute window for the movement of his money by torturing him by heating up a metal bucket with a live rat that will burrow into the cop's body if the bucket is heated long enough; thank God, it doesn't happen, but Verone threatens to do that to his family if he doesn't.

** This was Suki's only film in the franchise, but she made a good enough impression, [[MsFanservice particularly on male fans]] to make her absence in the following movies sorely missed.

She's also quite a fan-favorite between the female audience, with some affirming that they only watched the movie because of her.

* VindicatedByHistory: Somewhat. Though still considered a weak entry, its reputation has grown a bit over a few years mostly because of the tragic death of Creator/PaulWalker. It has caused some fans to look back at it a bit more fondly than when it was first released. Not to mention, many find it as a great intro for Roman who has become a big part in the franchise.
