Added DiffLines:

* IKnewIt: Many fans had been guessing for years about the possibility of a ''Total War: Warhammer'' game and the speculation ramped up even more when Creative Assembly announced a partnership with Games Workshop to produce a title from one of their IP's. To no one's surprise (as it was ''leaked'' in an artbook ''months'' before.) this IP turned out to be ''Warhammer Fantasy''.

* EvilIsSexy:
** Isabella Von Carstein. If her sultry Romanian accent wont convince you, her armoured, yet shapely figure will.
** Sigvald has plenty of female fans. The fact he's essentially a viking pretty boy dedicated to the God of Lust, Slannesh, helps, as do his stunning blonde locks, and chiselled face.

Removing non-YMMV entry.

* FriendlyNeighborhoodVampire: While the lore tends towards avoiding these kinds of characters, nothing is stopping the player from taking control of Vlad, Isabella, or Mannfred and making decisions to protect the living under your domain from your hungrier peers. Any Tomb King, even Arkhan the Black, can also be played as perfectly cordial with the living with the added benefit of existing alongside them without spreading a murderous corruption. Averted for all the Chaos factions: No matter how nice you try to be, you're still warping the world into a Chaotic wasteland with your mere presence and, if you're playing a daemon, you're forced to wage war against them.

** Many fans prefer to call the game ''Total Warhammer'' rather than ''Total War: Warhammer'', and even ask why it isn't the former. Another popular one is ''[[BetterThanCanon Warhammer Fantasy Battles: Official Ninth Edition]]''. The developers themselves jokingly asked why it wasn't called ''Total Warhammer'' instead.

* BetterThanCanon: A ''large'' portion of the ''Warhammer Fantasy'' fandom prefer this game over its actual tabletop successor, ''Age of Sigmar''. This is largely because ''CA'' put in a lot of research and time into creating a setting that blends past editions of the game together, while paying respects to certain points liked by fans about the stuff leading up to ''Age of Sigmar''. As a result, the game feels like a love-letter to the series, and thanks to having the ability to play through battles, the game feels like a better successor to the tabletop game.
