** "Butterflies": When Hazel becomes too weak to fly (we find out later she's dying), Jeff puts her in a box so she can be safe, and Jodie write's Hazel's name on it. Hazel compliments both as she lays in it. The funeral held for Hazel, and the song Muffy sings for her, are equal parts heartwarming and tear-jerking.
** "Babies" has a little opossum girl named Wanda who runs away from home after she learns that her mother is having another baby. After her adventure, Wanda returns home, ready to be a big sister. Two weeks later, her baby brother is born. A huge party is held, and everyone adores the newborn, but as the narration tells us: "Nobody was happier about the new baby than Wanda. Wanda wasn't the littlest Willoghby anymore. Now she was a big sister, and very proud." The last image before credits is a drawing of Wanda holding up her new brother, both smiling.

** "Butterflies". Muffy's Butterfly friend, Hazel, starts getting weaker and weaker, and finally admits that she's dying. "Dying? You're lying!" shouts a desperate Muffy, but just seconds later, Hazel's wings droop for the last time. A funeral is held, with Hazel's grave being lined with rose petals as Muffy sings a heartbreaking song about how Hazel will be missed. Even after this, Muffy still has trouble grasping the concept of death, asking Jodie if Hazel will ever come back.

Other characters include a MagicalComputer who behaves like a human being, a mischievous oversized mouse who always talks in rhyme, and "the Mime Lady" who appears in random segments for no reason. And that's just the regular cast.

Jeff is sorry but resigned to the fact that thanks to his not being able to leave the store, he will have to spend Christmas alone while the others are with their families. The others then decide they care so much about Jeff that they will celebrate Christmas with him at the store. A very nice gesture, but is it fair to their actual families, who were looking forward to seeing them on the holiday, whereas they are with Jeff day in, day out?
