Added DiffLines:

* InferredHolocaust: Everywhere the Tharmic Null goes, it warps reality in some small way that ends up causing lots and lots of people to die (for instance, it appears in South America, and a highly-poisonous spider ends up in a highly-populated area, or it appears in Duluth and a frustrated romance novelist snaps and murders everyone in her apartment complex.) The death tolls are exponential.

Added DiffLines:

* {{Fanservice}}: The third issue has a flashback to Thessaly as a topless cavewoman.

* CompleteMonster: Thessaly has killed a lot of people, often for no other reason than the fact that they happened to piss her off or she just needed them to die for whatever reason.

* RootingForTheEmpire: Given the role she played in the "Kindly Ones" arc of ''ComicBook/TheSandman'', the thousands of deaths that she's caused, and her cruel treatment of Fetch throughout this mini-series, there might be some readers who think that Thessaly's death at the hands of the Tharmic Null would be fully deserved.

* CreatorsPet: Fetch does almost nothing throughout the series except complain about being trapped in the mirror and attempt to deliver the occasional TheReasonYouSuckSpeech, and yet he gets to be the ultimate hero of the story.

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: Thessaly was originally created as a darkly humorous parody of the sort of female-empowerment brand of witchcraft that became popular in the eighties and nineties, but she also provided a stark contrast to Dream's fatalism - whereas Dream constantly bemoaned the rules and customs that he had to follow, Thessaly would do what she wanted and talk back to any god who dared to condemn her. Willingham basically turns her into yet another StrawFeminist to be proven wrong by one of his own characters.
* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: Thessaly being forced into saving normal people from monsters and having to fight alongside someone she couldn't stand could have been a decent plot. Unfortunately, that plot barely lasts two issues, and then the series moves on to her trying figure out how to fight a monster that nothing and no one can kill. And even ''that'' plot gets greatly compacted; the actual confrontation with the Tharmic Null is only shown briefly in a flashback.
