** The White Queen. No matter what kind of scheme the villains of the week have, she always finds a way to twist it into benefiting her. It takes everything Kyousuke has to just barely stop her plans... But she doesn't mind losing at all, so long as she can spend time with him, so she effectively always wins. [[spoiler:Even when she's finally defeated in Volume 7, [[AGoodWayToDie she doesn't mind, since it shows that Kyousuke truly understood her]]. He essentially gains total control of Bridesmaid, despite their UndyingLoyalty to the White Queen. He then recruits [[spoiler:Olivia Highland]] to his cause, knowing that it would throw off Kyousuke. On top of that, he even creates and maintains a working relationship with the Queen, by [[spoiler:giving her information on Kyousuke that only a father would know]]. At the end of Volume 7, it turns out that [[spoiler:he'd been keeping the Queen from simply heading out and grabbing Kyousuke, which was the only reason Kyousuke was able to defeat her]].

** Similarly, Kyousuke's feelings towards the White Queen are unclear. Despite claiming to despise anything and everything to do with her, he still uses the name Alice (with) Rabbit, which was given to him by the Queen. And at one point, he says that "just because the Queen is the strongest is no reason to allow her to kill". The narration points out that this could be interpreted as him wanting to redeem the Queen, by making her no longer want to kill anyone. Additionally, [[spoiler: Kyousuke's biological father states that Kyousuke is motivated by love, not fear.]]
